Customer Reviews

If you're going to eat and play games, the price is definitely more than $20-$30. The food alone is in that range. The games alone are roughly $50-$100 per person. I wish I would have attempted to purchase the cards, pay to activate the cards then purchase the amount of tokens we wanted separately from our meal because the tip options at the end of it were outrageous. I also wouldn't recommend eating here. The food was not very good. My daughter got the Chicken Parmesan Pasta, she didn't like the warm, mush

I came here second day of opening with my family and we had a blast! The food was amazing and the arcade is everything I had been waiting for, I ordered the Barbacoa Quesadillas and they are literally to die for, I was licking my plate clean practically. If you come here you have to get the S?more Cheesecake, it has to be the best dessert I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Ive been waiting so long for Dave and Busters to open in Lansing and tonight has been worth the wait, I will be back here many tim

The food was on point (although quite pricy) and Caleb, our server was great! Warning, it is crazy loud in there! We opted to skip the games but it's pretty concerning reading the other reviews about $44 service charges and a particularly confrontational manager (Vinny)...

A great experience! As a family of 6, we look for these types of spaces to entertain everyone. We ate and played games for a few hours. The food and service were excellent. Our server (shout out to Rebecca) was great with the kiddos and extremely attentive, a manager made sure to check-in to ensure we were enjoying our food and service, and the food hit all the marks. The areas were clean, organized, and well taken care of. The games were a blast and there was something for everyone! This is a great additio

We decided last minute to call off work for the day due to the weather and dropped in with a group of 27 employees at 10am. The Dave and Busters team nailed it. Great service, very accommodating, great food and a lot of fun was had! Thank you so much for accommodating us!

I usually don't leave reviews, but I felt the need to give this lady her recognition. I had an amazing experience at Dave & Buster?s thanks to Briana, the bartender on duty. She was the only bartender working during a busy time, yet she handled it like an absolute pro. Despite being busy, her service far exceeded my expectations, she was fast, friendly, and attentive to every customer. And she is so funny btw, a great hostess for sure! Not to mention, her drinks were a perfect 10/10! Every cocktail was m

So happy I chose Weds to check this place out. Turns out Weds are always 1/2 off all games. Becca was our server and that girl is a rockstar! I've never in Lansing had such flawless and professional service. She recommended the Fried Pickles for app. They came out very quickly and tasted so good. Daughter and I had the smash burger with GPT fries. The fries are a MUST! Games were a lot of fun. Everyone was friendly. Overall, we had an amazing time. As we were leaving my daughter(10yrs old) asked to find Bec

My family visited this Dave & Buster?s for the first time last night to celebrate my nephew?s 7th birthday. While the atmosphere was initially enjoyable, the experience quickly deteriorated due to unprofessional service from the restaurant staff. We played games for about an hour until our table was ready, and although the service provided wasn't the best, due to the waitress being largely absence, we were content. When it came time to pay, one member of our party was charged a $44 service fee for a $60 bil

I had a wonderful time. I had a large group of 20 more people for a birthday celebration.. we order drinks and food then we were about to go play the games. The waitress comes out of nowhere asking us to pay before we play the games.. I felt like the waitress was low-key stalking us to pay early

Our recent visit started off well, but unfortunately, it ended on a very disappointing note. We were a party of 11 with separate checks for each family. My bill, which included two adult meals and two children?s meals, totaled over $100. Upon reviewing the receipt, we noticed a $44 service charge that no other party member had on their bill. When we inquired about the charge, the waitress explained it was a standard gratuity fee. However, each family had already tipped individually, so the additional charg

Brian is the man!!! Not only was he friendly, he rocks that bar & made our experience that much better!! Slinging drinks, smiling while doing so & the best service I've genuinely had in a long time anywhere. My family & I loved him & can't wait to come back & see him specifically while we hangout & play our games! This man deserves a promotion & a pay raise!

Celebrated a birthday here this past week. We were a group of 9, waitress was kind and sweet. Issues didn't arise until it came to paying for our bill. The first person in our party couldn't use a giftcard they had received, which was fine but took the waitress going and finding a manager awhile. Second person of our party was overcharged by $40. Asked for an itemized receipt, pointed out the error. Waitress again goes looking for a manager to help. Came back to tell us that our options were either keep the

Our family had a Wonderful experience! It was our son's 15th Birthday celebration and he loved it. We were greeted & seat immediately upon arrival. Our server Janee was phenomenal! She suggested different menu items when we weren't sure what to order. Their Chicken tenders, Buffalo wings, fries and coleslaw we're our favorites. She also introduced us to a new found favorite dessert; funnel fries! Those little suckers are delicious! We went with the $19.99 combo for everyone; which included game play. This l

Fantastic service/food/atmosphere. 4 stars for food ONLY because the "spicy" chicken fingers were mild spice at best. BUT I tend to enjoy the heat more than others so my pallette might be different from the average person

Marty is one of the nicest and coolest Dudes around! He is awesome. He goes above and beyond to say hi and just share positivity. What a great person to have work for you. You're very fortunate!! Great building, great location, awesome games and the staff we talked to were all great. Thanks!!

Such a bad experience for my kid and friend who went to the new location in Eastwood. Their server was a lady with red hair was rude and not checking on them after the meal was served. My kid and her friend got up and looked for the manager since they needed drink refills. Waitress came up to them saying -are you looking for me? You need a refill?- so disappointed. Waitress came at the end apologizing saying she had a lot of tables and offering a dessert or lower the bill. By then these young ladies were do

Still not impressed with the food and this is my second time going something is wrong with their sewing machine that its water soda they need to calibrate it with some water syrup me and my son went for his graduation celebration this is the second time I've been here and he had fun with the games other Dave & Buster's give you more tickets we're just playing games he didn't get very many tickets and he's so used to the one in Grand rapids where you get tickets for everything so he was a little disappointed

Deeply disappointed in my first visit here. I was celebrating my sister?s birthday and it was one disaster after another. Almost everyone got overcharged when checking out and I personally was overcharged an entire meal plus someone?s else?s game play. They looped me through circle after circle until they finally agreed to void my transaction that was $50 over what it should have been. I still have yet to see my refund and I am going to be furious if I have to step foot in that building again to get my mone

Worst D&B i've been to. For a newly opened place, they don't have a lot of the good ticket games and most dave and busters. No zombie snatcher, the ball drop game was broken, no giant claw, no virtual reality. Very disappointing. Also no front counter to help people reload cards or welcome you. I walked in and no staff in sight. Kiosks were down. Had to go to the prize redemption area to get my card loaded. REALLY bad start to a location. Pretty empty

Had an issue with my burger and they discounted it heavily off of the bill and made a new one! Brock and Alicia were extremely attentive and open to a suggestion or two! Really appreciate the good service, hope you guys keep it up!!

Food was nasty and very loud and we were sitting as far away ffthe games as we could. Two meals. Chicken strips and fries and smashed burger. Chickestrips were extre small. Three. Of them. Fries were cold and over cooked. Smash burger was in think and way to much salt. Returned my meal.

first time at d&b lansing and omg all love to Dekeith- i cant say enough other than GREATTTTTT customer service. he treated my friends and i well, and we overall had a great time.

First went on a Monday afternoon so was really slow. Service was great. Got some food and played some games. Cost a lot just for one person. Not sure if will go back.

My friends and I stopped in to check it out on Saturday night and it was super fun, Tee was a great bartender and we will definitely be back to see her at the bar!!

My name is Sean Karim, and I'm a Visionary! And this place is the best spot in Lansing! Opening Day has been AWESOME! LEGGO!

Thought the food was medicore at best. Very overpriced. Waitress did a good job. Place was clean.

Absolutely horrible!! After 1 1/2 hours we finally got our food. We had to track down someone to pay our bill. The food was nothing special. Save yourself the hassle ....not worth it.

Very clean space, friendly staff, great food, huge variety of games with lots of options. Great place to bring a group of friends to chill out and watch a game, have some food, and game!

The Staff was Absolutely Fantastic!!! Shout out to Makayla and Brook!!! Thank You for Taking Great Care Of Us !!!!

Ticket prizes are kind of high but other than that it's a fantastic experience and the service is top notch!!

We were checking out our prizes and this man with dreadlocks who's working here is really rude and he should be fired immediately or I'm never coming here again

Tasty food, good variety menu, great staff. Fun place.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful despite being understaffed and very busy.

Fun and clean. Excited to have this location!

Very loud and the food is overpriced.

Very loud will not go back

Omg I had a ball I'm going back

This has been a great addition to Lansing. Great food, fun games and an even better staff. People mention the prices are high, the food is fairly priced for the quality and quantity. Games are a little expensive but it encourages you to buy a larger ?chip? package. If you live in the area you should get the summer pass. Unlimited games (except purple) 30% off food, can't beat that deal. Plus they have half off games on Wednesday and college night on Thursday(free $10 play card which is roughly 100 chips whi

First let me say, The host and woman who brought us our food were fantastic! Sat at the bar, waited a long time before getting any service. The bartender was not friendly or welcoming in way. She then got my drink order wrong, acted annoyed when I told her what I actually ordered. I asked for an ice water and noticed there was an ant in it. I said ?hi, there's an ant in my water?. Her response was ?it wasn't in there when I poured it?. For how overpriced everything is, you would expect better service! She

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
