The food was gross. We had 3 people and the food was awful. The gaming was ok. It costs a lot to have fun here but that's to be expected. Was unhappy with the food (pictured). The tap to play from your phone doesn't work on half the games. Hard to use.
A group of 19 of us went here for Father?s Day and we had a blast. Our server Ezekiel was so attentive to our party, he was so knowledgeable about the menu and the game play. Our food came out fast, was hot, and delicious. The kids had so much fun playing games and the adults just enjoyed ourselves in the dining area. The bathrooms were clean, the service was amazing, and I would definitely recommend this location.
A night out with great food and games. Steaks, burgers, and pizza was on the menu for our visit. All top notch stuff but they need to bring rolls or something for the price you pay. Fun family arcade games offer many different options. Would be nice to redeem tickets for something bigger for how many credits I bought won me very little tickets but we left with happy kids. Overall only going here for an occasion not for the value. Nice place and clean. Good people.
The food wasn't bad tasting and came in a timely fashion. Not much fresh on the menu, but that's not why you come here. The gaming is fun for all with plenty of choices. Seems clean enough... But don't look too closely... All in all a fun family place. I will be back.
Great fun, arcade games, great and yummy food, and restaurant service was amazing. Arcade games are fun, some games give you tickets so you can earn prizes but some don't. If you want a lot of tickets, I suggest the push the coin of the edge game for sure.
So fun! Buy as much as you are willing to spend upfront, so you don't have to keep adding (at a worse rate/deal) when you want to play more lol. Games were good quality, all the throwing games had their balls. Prizes could?ve been a little more exciting
Zeke and Cary were amazing! Cary was very kind and helpful on the phone -and Zeke was a friendly and humorous waiter. Our wings were a good size, crisp, & juicy -cooked perfectly! We went for all-you-can-eat wings on a Tuesday for $22.99/per person (you also get $10 free play). We highly recommend and will be back!
The new menu isn't great at all, especially the dessert. They took the best dessert off their menu, the big daddy!! We have tried 3 out of 4 of the desserts and let me tell you DISGUSTING! You wait forever for your food to get out to you and then it isn't even what you expected it to be. The manager comes to our table and we didn't request a manager at all, he said I heard you had some problems with some things your ordered. We mentioned everything to him about what we ordered and he said, I'll take care o
Really cool arcade and restaurant. The food was really good and the games were a lot of fun!
Did not eat while there. Played a lot of games. Kids had a great time. Top Gun Maverick was a big hit.
The food was great, and the service was great. Drove over an hour to go their and was not disappointed. Great place to go and have an adult day out, whether watching a game or going back and playing games in the game room. And is kid friendly
We've been waiting an hour for seats. Only 20% of the tables are seated. The hostess, kitchen manager and gm came out and told us to wait longer cause the kitchen is too busy. We already spent 150 on games and drinks but can't have a seat. I complained to everyone so the manager called the cops instead of putting us in an open seat. We will NEVER spend another dollar at this place
Our recent visit to Dave & Buster's for a combined birthday and Father's Day celebration was truly exceptional, largely thanks to the phenomenal staff who went above and beyond. From the initial planning stages, Katey was an absolute lifesaver. She expertly handled our reservation, patiently adjusting the headcount multiple times as our plans evolved. When we arrived, she greeted me by name, making us feel instantly welcomed and valued, as if we were old friends. Our server, Ashah, was incredible. Her kin
Went during happy hour and got a great drink for $5! My food came out quickly but it was basically room temp. Shared my concerns and they took care of it right away. Will come back!
We were surprised at the quality of food, it was great. We did go at a slower time but still. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. We had a good time. It wasn't our first time either!
Had a very nice meal and enjoyed the arcade.
Food was not great but not horrible, the drinks were good, it was not too busy when we were there on a Sunday, and the staff were friendly. Biggest hang up is that a good number of games didn't work but took our tokens. Pretty frustrating when they are so expensive to begin with. I also feel that their arcade is kind of on the small side, but then again they can't stay on top of servicing their machines at the quantity they do have.
Went on a Sunday morning. It was great. Kids had a blast and the place was pretty much empty. Haven't been in a while so the new menu was not what I remember. I missed the sampler appetizer! Lots of new games. Only downfall was the family bathroom was out of toilet paper ???? at 10 am on a Sunday that should have been checked and stocked the night before or morning of. Does that mean they didn't even clean it after a busy Saturday night?
If you love the loud noise and ambience of a casino slot machine room combined with Chuck E. Cheese full of screaming kids you will LOVE the atmosphere. A bit much for me. Food was good though (steak) and they were very accommodating about lower carbon side options.
We did the eat and play combo, and I believe it was a great deal. Our server was fantastic, the food and drinks were good. This is probably the best experience we've had.
Every changing table in this place is broken and sagging down. Men's. Women's. Family. All of them. Not a very family or accessibility friendly facility. Drinks took 30 minutes each to arrive. Meanwhile there's 4 other workers just hanging out behind the bar. Sad we had to resort to a corner booth to change our child. Perhaps the Bar top would be a better place if there ever was a next time. This is me contacting you, I don't plan to spend any more time on this. Hope the necessary changes are made to make
I recommend this place for food and fun for ADULTS mostly ok you can take the kids to?? Amazing food, drinks and staff. I had salmon green beans mash potatoes. Only thing I'd say is they don't need so much butter on mash potatoes. BF had the bacon burger. If you live in Grand Rapids and wonder WHERE'S THE BEEF, IT'S AT DAVE AND BUSTERS. Games are amazing. Armando was our great waiter, very personable! Let's get to the ADULT DRINKS, let's just say they are greeeaaat drinks! And yes women they have cheap JELL
Highly recommend checking specials before going in! We happen to go in on my kids birthday, Wednesday. Half off food and games! Staff was great, tons of games (never had to wait for one) and food was good!
Had a great time. Super fun ambiance and good variety games.
I visited here for the NYE promotion. They don't tell you, you are in the conference/ kids party room. It was fine but close dinning with others. The food was pretty good. The games were fun and the drinks were okay. I recommend the pink margarita. I don't recommend asking for anything off the menu. There were only 2 servers for the entire event. I would suggest an event coordinator to improve service and experience in the future. Overall okay low key night and glad it wasn't packed person to person or line
I've never been there b4 so both my kids, myself, my husband, my daughter's boyfriend, and sons best friend all went and had the best time ever. I called off of work just to go. Lol. Plus my son's best friends birthday was 3 days prior to all of us going, so we told him we had a surprise for his birthday. Dave and Buster's was awesome!!
The food was great! Place was clean. Took a little while to be seated so the service was a little slow. The waitress was very nice and was quick with our food. My teenager had fun playing games and I enjoyed the music selection.
[Update: This location got pump it up Phoenix now] I usually go to this D&B location to play pump it up. The machine condition is good but the player 2 side needs to get the sensors fixed. Also, the current version of the machine is now offline, I am no longer able to login to the machine whenever I play. Overall, I really like to play the pump it up machine at this D&B location but the machine needs to get new version of the game, which is pump it up 2023 Phoenix so the other player who has AM Pass card ca
Definitely fun times at this location, we had our annual Christmas party here and the staff was amazing. They catered our event in one of their private rooms and made sure we were all taken care of. Fun games cold drinks and hot food.
This our first visit to this D&B. Service was good. It wasn't too busy. We came to watch the fight. Overall, pretty decent.
My boyfriend and I came here on my birthday and got drinks and tried their new hot honey wings. We didn't realize their kitchen was closing soon (at the time of ordering it was around 10:50 pm and their kitchen closed at 11 pm) so we quick placed our order for the wings. The hot honey wings weren't hot at all, just straight honey, and weren't very saucy either. The chicken also wasn't fully cooked and still slightly pink in the middle of some of them. My boyfriend didn't realize this when eating them and en
Fantastic fun for my family, and the food was fantastic. Our server Alejandro was excellent, can't say enough about how good the service was. The manager Bernard even stopped by and was very nice. Definitely a new destination for my family once I get past my budgetary priorities as it was a little out of my ordinary price range. I highly recommend this establishment.
Though the wait to be seated wasn't too long maybe 10 min the wait to be served could have been 45min, and unfortunately it was for some around us. That said we had an amazing server who wasn't even supposed to work our table take care of us, and he did an amazing job. All in all food was great, so was the games.
My wife and I celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary at Dave and Buster's, and it was fantastic! Christian, our server in the restaurant, was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. He offered good insights and suggestions. We were very glad he was our server! The food was first-class! We were really impressed with both the stellar quality of the food, in both flavor and presentation, and the very reasonable prices!! The arcade is quite good. Mostly redemption games, but I understa
Pizza flatbread is not worth it, choose something else. Best price is 60 a person. Alcoholic drinks had zero effect so don't bother.
The atmosphere and cleanliness of the place was top notch. Hands down the nicest D&B I've ever been too but the service was ridiculous. It was a Monday night and probably 90% empty. We were told we couldn't be seated until 75% of our party was here? I just stared back at the hostess with a face of disbelief as if I wasn't' literally her ONLY customer...we wanted to sit in the bar areas with a party of 7 and push two tables together DENIED! again...the place was EMPTY! Refills were deathly slow...apparently
Lots of fun with great interactive arcade games and plenty of TVs for watching sports. I had the fish and wasn't impressed, but the happy hour drink deals and service were very good.
Large Dave and Busters, with lots of game choices that are added or subtracted it seems ever 6 months or so, the place is clean and staff are friendly. Food is pretty good, bar style so its hard to mess up, drinks are good and bathrooms have always been clean. If there was anything negative I would have to say and what keeps it from being a 5, is the price of credits to cost of game play. Although Wednesday is 1/2 price which makes it better, the prizes are a little on the higher end for tickets in my opini
My first time and was great! Service was attentive and accurate, kitchen made delicious HOT food, management was on rounds making sure we were all good. It was a great family night so thank you!
This place has a huge round bar and the bartender was very friendly. Mr family and I had a great time!! My girlfriend and I were able to have a couple drinks for her birthday as we watched the kids play games. My girlfriend and I also played a few games. They have games for adults and kids. You have to purchase game cards for the machines. Each card is $4.00 then you put money on them to play games. It's not cheap by no means. But it's a good time. A family of four should expect to spend around $100.00
Sports meca! 360 Degree Sports. Good food and lots of summertime fruity drinks! Excellent atmosphere. Well set up for a restaurant. Probably the best I've seen. It's cozy no matter where you are in the place and it's always busy and always loud. Lots of video games for the kid and the kid in you.
All Smiles! Every staff member greeted us with a friendly smile. The service was exceptional. Very good food variety and vegetarian selections. Family friendly, warm, fun activity in game room.
Everything was about how I'd expect a D And B to be, however I have 2 main gripes. Also, for reference I'm a 20 plus restaurant veteran, chef and manager. My ribeye steak had zero seasoning. None. No salt, nothing. It's a terrible thing to mistreat meat this way. The gob of " garlic butter" ( its not even real butter its " spread " couldn't even cover the lack of flavor my otherwise perfectly cooked steak could have had. My second gripe, is at the end of our meal, we were handed a POS ( card swiper) to pa
If you are feeling understimulated, Dave & Buster's is the place for you. We wanted to watch 2 March Madness basketball games that aired at the same time, so we decided to dine at a place that has more televisions on that an electronics retailer. If the lights and sounds from the broadcasts aren't enough, the gaming area provides more entertainment options than one could reasonably master in a lifetime. The food was good and service from Aniya absolutely outstanding.
Went celebrate my 36th birthday with parents, siblings, spouse and kids. - 4 of 12 chicken entrees were RAW. - Very poor attention via our server (as former servers, wife & I give way more understanding but whoa) but we still tipped 10% - Server told us that it wasn't the first time (yesterday) kitchen served uncooked chicken / food - Neice has diarrhea still - Wife made herself through up I suggest just going for games or only get food when ITS NOT BUSY!
Dave and Buster's has a lot of gaming options but they are pricey. The food is okay, they do offer options for corporate events and parties like a nacho bar. They also have their own unique cocktails and other drinks. The prizes are average, again expensive to win. Some of there games seem to always be broken or not working either. Overall good time for families and friends, they also offer a military discount.
No button to open 2 sets of doors at front or at bathroom. Was a pain bringing my kids in a stroller. Multiple people at front desk just watched, no help with no one in line. Food is theme park level prices, which is expected. Kids pizza was just the flatbread, not kid focused. Person running ticket/prize area was extremely rude to me and my 4 year old daughter. We were a burden when I asked how many tickets we had combined between 3 cards. We were told an incorrect number at first. When we finished
Took a family of 6 had dinner and games. Everyone had a great time. The food was okay, not the best, but not the worst. What I really appreciated was the prizes you get from the points you earned from the game were actually pretty cool prizes. You didn't have to earn a crazy amount of points.
Is what it is. Research before going for the first time. No real video games, mostly all ticket games, no pinball, very limited menu, pricy. We'll say 3.5 stars. Still a cool place.
The manager just made our whole day!! Thank you sooo much! Coming back and telling everyone we know how awesome they are here!!! P.S. super clean!!
DO NOT RECCOMEND TRYING TO EAT THERE. Extremely rude staff, they will only allow seating directly next to all their loud video game machines. You can't hear each other or yourself think. Don't waste your time.
Went for lunch on Mother's Day... friendly staff, food was good.. arcade games were fun.. would go back again with grandkids
Worst waste of money. Bought the "unlimited" which apparently means you can only win so many tickets and you can only play half the games. What a rip off!!
I was at the bar on 6-21-25 & I was told I could not have more the one double shot of fireball. I have been there before & have a 3 double shots. I don't ?now if I rubbed the community the wrong way but I'd like an explanation for that? I have been there & to many other Dave & Busters around the country & have ????NEVER???? heard of that before!
Drove into Kentwood for a bride?s dress and went to this restaurant. Everyone who yada hamburger enjoyed it but those who had chicken wings did not. They had broken bones and felt like eggshells in your mouth. Three chicken dinners, one boneless and two bone in. It was my first tine there and not sure about eating there again but I am certainly not against playing PacMan! Oh chicken dishes were supposed to come with fries. No fries ever came and they had to be deleted from the bill. Sigh.
Ty was working the prize area (6:45 pm 5/19/25) and was so incredibly kind and helpful to my son and I. She absolutely made our visit memorable ??
This was my first time at this location. As expected, it was a busy Saturday night. When we arrived we had to ask the dining room host to seat us as we didn't think we could find a clean available table on our own. The waitress was extremely friendly and efficient. She seemed to be handling the capacity well. When the food runner brought the food I immediately could tell it wasn't made as ordered. She seemed bothered by the fact I wasn't willing to eat it. About 5 minutes later she brought the same f
Got to play alot of old school games. The one VR game with the dinosaurs was very realistic feeling. Next time I need to try the food. But the drinks were fabulous.
1st time to D&B grand rapids fast friendly service from our server Brittany D! keep rocking it girl! food was good games were fun! we will back!
The food was really good. My drink was great. The server seem too be too busy he forgot my silverware, drop my daughter's food and gave me the wrong check. It didn't seem that busy at least not on the dinning area. Overall my kids had fun.
Brought our daughter here for her thirtieth birthday tonight, and we all had an amazing time. The food was delicious and the games are tons of fun. We will definitely be back!
Lots of fun games to play. Wednesday is half price games. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. We had a work outing here and had a great time.
Had to edit my old review that was a 5-star review. When looking at the website for D&B you can see a 20$ "Eat, Drink, Play Combo" that is advertised. I was advised by our server that the Manager of the location does not honor this deal that is sponsored on the main website. Ended up spending more than we had wanted.
I was expecting it to be more like an adult setting. We arrived at 12am and there were more kids than adults. They automatically cut us off from the bar as we came in. (We were a Bachelorette party) some were way more intoxicated than others, but why cut everyone off? Some only had 1-2 drinks before hand. Still had a great time. The food was most definitely the BEST part.
This was our first experience at a Dave & Busters. It was exactly what I expected! Adult games and fun while also having a family aspect to it. I do wish some of the games didn't require such high credits, but overall we had a great time. We played games, had some drinks, and then redeemed our tickets for some pretty cool prizes. Great date night fun!
Had a great time celebrating my son's early graduation. The food was good, and we had a blast with all the games.
We take our special needs son here for fun time, and he loves it! Staff is always super friendly! Games are perfect for him!
A good place to spend an afternoon in! You can order food which is very good, and there are some vegetarian options. Also offers a good variety of fun games to play alone, with friends or family. The place can be very loud at times and very overstimulating.
Marty was our bartender and was GREAT! However, tonight 8 minutes before close, we were told by the newest manager ?time to move some butts. i wanna clean and go home? We were still finishing our drinks, and the restaurant was not closed. We were not asked respectfully to leave, we were talked down to and not even a ?please.? Being kicked out before close is crazy to me!
kids loved this place! been back a couple of times and they always have fun. Food a bit expensive but kids like it here.
Our server did a great job! Food came in large portions. They were offering free arcade credit with the purchase of select menu items. For $19.99, it was a very good value. The dining area and bar are great for getting a bite to eat and cold drinks. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend paying them a visit. We wish they offered a better selection of prizes. Otherwise, it was a great time and enjoyed the food very much!
I bought the silver pass and I couldn't win anything and even when I asked could I upgrade to gold they said I could only win 1000 tickets at most, that's so stupid that they sell you passes for gaming but you win nothing that's Unacceptable they I asked them if I could just have I refused and they said they couldn't and when I asked why they said I don't know, I get it if I can't win tickets but no refund because I didn't know that's unacceptable and I will never come back here again
I had a lot of fun here ?? my ring flew off at a football game, and the worker got it out of the machine for me ?? ( 2018 ) Update ( 2024 ) : I took 4 of my kids here the other day. We got the card with the most tokens on it. $122. We were there for 2 hours. They played so much that they seemed to really be done playing by the time all the tokens were gone. I recommend getting the most tokens on 1 card and staying together as a group if you can. You get almost double tokens that way. Also, I haven't been
This place has the best food, loved the double pepperoni flatbread and all American cheeseburger! Make sure you add bacon it tops it off! The dangerous water drink is delicious and dangerous!
My child and I came out because games were half off on Election Day. The location wasn't very busy. All of the games we played were in good working order with the exception of the table hockey. It was playable, but the puck kept getting stuck underneath the rail in one corner. I never noticed a game tech on the floor, and I forgot to mention it to any other employee. We visited the redemption area, and my child found an item to redeem tickets for. The person who helped us was friendly and enthusiastic. We h
Food was average, i didn't have to make it so that's a win, service was great kids had fun!
Had a great time this time around. It was a very busy Saturday night, but I got served well and enjoyed my time for 4 hours of eat, play, and drink. A nice weekend getaway activy that doesn't get old. And I get to catch up on sports.
My server(s) were great! We went for the Jake Paul vs Tyson fight. The only reasons I gave 4 stars was we had 3 meat eaters and 1 vegetarian. We wanted something like the game day grub to all split but there wasn't a more vegetarian friendly alternative.
My 7 year old son and I love going to Dave & Buster?s! Have a blast every time!
Food and fun was great. Only thing was that we won some LED lights and they didn't work when we got home, a little disappointed.
Service in both gaming area and food area have great staff the food is good except the chicken and waffles..the waffles we're rock hard chicken was delicious tho!!!... cheese cake dip is to die for!
Visited Dave & busters today in Grand Rapids with the fam, dinner was good no complaints, & the desert topped off the meal. We also had a waitress that stayed on top of things she came to check on us every few minutes. We ended our night with some games. We had a good time. Happy birthday babe!
My husband and I have been to many Dave & Buster's, so we've seen the best and this wasn't it. The lady at the front counter didn't know what time the kitchen closed (as we came in 3+ hours before they closed). She also said we had to get our cards at the register. There were card machines on the other side of the wall behind her. I saw them later when I bought another card. My games of choice are coin slot. I've always taken my time and calculated my moves carefully. Unless you're dropping coins in manua
I've been to this location multiple times. Today I ordered the ?avocado toast with Mexican street corn?. The flavor was pretty good but my dish lacked corn... I literally counted 8 kernels on my entire dish which is disappointing because that's part of the reason I ordered this. Mine looked nothing like the picture advertised on the menu. I've had better versions at other restaurants. We also ordered the ?Dynamite Fried Shrimp? and that was delicious! The flavors were really good and I'd recommend that dis
The staff was good are waiter got are orders in quickly. The service was fast we had a great time. The food was very good the pretzel appetizer was big enough for 4 of us and some leftover. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Great time for the whole family. Highly recommend ??????
I went with my bf and friend and we all had fun playing the games but the food kind of made me sick. I got noodles substituted with zucchini and it was just so oily and buttery I immediately headed to the bathroom and spent more time in there than playing games. SO... just be aware I guess.
This place is a lot of fun for the family and all ages. It's a Saturday, it's busy. I have never ate here only played. The games r great, too pricey, but it's ok. I'm a little surprised at the amount of food garbage and drink garbage left out on the game floor, but it's not a lot, just enough to notice.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
