Despicable but not surprising. The ?chicken tender entree? is what I ordered. The chicken was inexcusably small. $13 for that is a disgrace. The ?game day? or whatever it's called for $32 was horrendous. And not worth the $$. I would pay $16 max for that garbage. The drinks (Kentucky mules) tasted like well water. Ordered to get the ?unlimited game pass? card to the games for $60. after waiting for it AFTER our food was finished (should have been brought out while we waited) we were told it was unavailable.
A pretty fun experience coming here. I have been here before several years back and the experience wasn't all that great, and most the cool games were down but this time it was pretty great. I didn't really see a down game and you could do most everything. I think the only weird one was the photo booth since I think you pay to get photos taken and then pay for the photos themselves? We couldn't figure out and it also just wasn't working right. Everything else was pretty good. I think we ended up spending 90
Our server, Bri, was very good and made sure the orders came out on time. She didn't judge us when we had 3 food vouchers that we redeemed for 2200 pts each. Of course, I never eat anywhere expecting a free meal. We ordered the barbacoa fries for an appetizer and still left a good tip. Always tip your server. Also don't leaver your table trashed. If you're one of those people that don't clean up after yourselves at home and expect someone else to do it, dude, stay home. There is no need for your pettiness t
They had the most handsome guy at the front counter. He was very helpful and ready on the eyes. We had to wait to be seated, but it was worth it. The food was hot & delicious, and our server was so nice. The adult beverages were very expensive. The kids had a blast playing all the different games and getting to spend their tickets in the prize room. This place was fun for the entire family!
Be cautious when ordering drinks off the paper table tent during happy hour, the Gold Rita is listed without a price and surprisingly is not included in the advertised happy hour deal on the same table tent that states: ?cocktails, beer and more 50% off?. Our server didn't mention this (for fear of ?offending us?). I was shocked to later find out each single cost $31 due to a special tequila ($100 for 3 after tax)! I thought I was at an arcade ??????!. To top it off, the drinks did not come as pictured, no
Always a good time!!!! The games are fantastic they have something for everyone. Decent bar food and cool prizes to choose from.
We visited the Dave & Buster?s in Jacksonville, FL on 6/15/2025 with a party of 25 to celebrate both Father?s Day and five birthdays. I had called earlier in the day to ask about reservations and was told we wouldn't need one. Unfortunately, this led to a very disappointing experience. We were assigned only one server for our entire party. She was responsible for setting up the tables, taking orders, and serving food and drinks?all by herself. It was overwhelming for her and chaotic for us. I asked multipl
Visited on a Wednesday afternoon around 4PM-ish. Typical D&B location, extremely loud inside. Bathrooms were absolutely filthy.. Zero maintenance!!! haha But, what I wanted to touch on is how broken, uncalibrated and fraudulent the gaming machines are. Several times across multiple different game machines, aftering scanning the arcade card onto the game kiosk, the system would collect the coins from your game card, but not actually recognize or start the game. Additionally, the joystick/handle to the Pacm
We arrived around 1 p.m. and it was great timing. We were able to play all the games we wanted to without waiting. The music playing on the intercom was good. The location was clean, and the staff was friendly. We did not eat because we were having so much fun. We definitely will be visiting soon. 10-19-24, we ate at the restaurant and it was very good. The pizza was not tough, and the wings were flavorful. The staff was decent, and the games were okay (very expensive).
We booked D&B for my son's 9th birthday and it was a hit with the kids and their parents. I got the kid's party package and added a tray of chicken fingers and one of nachos. We got a nice large shared room with one other group that worked out as a nice home base for the kids to eat and play. TLDR; Great for kid birthday parties. Make sure to get the unlimited video game option!
Friendly staff, the food is good and very attentive servers. Fun place to be with friends, family or your significant other. Also, great place to watch games, mma, etc.
Great experience. The manager Chaune is awesome. My family and I come every week since we got the seasonal pass which is an amazing unlimited gaming all the way until Sept. totally worth it
Spent a little over $200 on games that gave us just about an hour and a half of continuous play. We ended up with a little over 7,000 tickets between all of us. we had a lot of fun!
As frequent guests of Dave and Buster?s in Jacksonville, we always enjoy the service and fun atmosphere. On our last visit there (5/9/25) we had dinner before our kids played the games. Our sever, Jakayla was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of during our entire time dining. Casey, a manager stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with the service. He was warm, sincere and showed care for his customers. We 100% recommend Dave and Buster?s in Jacksonville!
This experience at Dave & Buster?s was one of the worst I've had in a while. My wife and I walked in and stood at the hostess stand, clearly waiting to be seated. Four employees looked right at us. No greeting, no ?we'll be right with you,? not even a simple hello. Just completely ignored us. We stood there while staff walked around and did everything except acknowledge us. Eventually, we left because it was clear no one cared. This wasn't just bad service. It was no service at all. Very disappointing.
The games was amazing. The food was a different story, the burger and steak wasn't cooked well.
Took an extra 25 minutes from our reservation time to get seated. We were a big party and it seemed everyone there was also celebrating a birthday. Once we sat down, the service was awesome. My cup was constantly getting refilled and the beer kept coming. My food was delicious and my entire family loved it. The game area was packed but we hardly had to wait to play games with our kids. They are younger, so they mainly wanted to do car games. 40 bucks on the game card lasted about an hour between both kids a
This is a smaller Dave & Busters than what We've been to before. They have lots of games but not as many where 4 or more people can play, as we were a party of 6. We did have fun. Our food was very good. However, our poor waitress was being bogged down by rules she could not control. When separating our ticket, she had to get a managers approval and for any changes in that had to get a managers approval. She was kind, but we could tell she was frustrated. It was one of our friends first time there and he lo
This Jacksonville branch ambiance has a high ceiling and a huge monitor. They have beautiful square bar. Huge dinning area, but this branch only has arcades. The food is always fantastic. I especially like Korean Sticky Ribs and Nachos. ... The service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed attending the birthday party.
My husband & I went to eat & play games with our little 5 year old. We got there it was late 3 hours before closing. Nobody was at counter to help with questions. Bought combo card for play & free meal & discounts on drinks. When going to seat to get food. Signs on table says wait for host to seat us: No Host either. ?? Had to ask bartender for help. Only had one server; he had other tables to attend. Turned out the free meal was only certain foods. Wish I knew from jump; very confusing ?? every thing now.
Came here with my wife on Saturday and wanted to just have some fun at an arcade while eating good American food! This place was okay as far as food goes. The truffle fries were very cooked and tough to eat. The wings was okay. Not a whole lot of flavor. The games was hit or miss on some. Main event has a lot more to offer.
Took the kiddos for a play day and they suggested Dave and buster?. Although we didn't eat there today it was more about games and fun it was something for everyone to enjoy easy to reload previous cards and it was busy but the staff I did encounter was still decent overall be back for the full experience food drink & play
Dave & Buster's is amazing! AWESOME family fun with its many games, great food, magnificent atmosphere, and fantastic service! They serve alcohol ??, and they offer meal/game token packages which, in my opinion, are fairly priced. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed and will return soon.
Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday for fun, food , and games. NAILED IT! First, let me say I also happened to find out I could play a dad card upon arrival as I am a UFC fan and there was a TV showing the preliminaries. I asked if there was a chance they would change a small tv for us, we either, by chance, got a table in front of the small tvs (cause was a birthday) or they did what was asked; very kindly! Second, food was amazing; fries, wings, chicken tenders, breakfast burger, and more. The servi
Me and my family have been here twice. It's always a great time. We will be coming back a lot more. Love the rechargeable cards. And its amazing to know you can buy food with tickets you win from playing games!!!
Had a great time at Dave & Buster?s Jacksonville with the $19.99 burger and $10 play card combo! The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the fries were crispy and delicious. Definitely a solid deal for a meal and some fun! The arcade was a blast?tons of games for all ages, and the $10 play card gave us a good amount of entertainment. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was energetic and exciting. If you're looking for a fun night out with good food and games, this is
They don't have enough wait staff to handle the amount of people. We were sat at a table that hadn't been wiped down. We told the waitress this along with letting her know there was still someone to-go box on the table. She took the box and ignored our comment about the table not being wiped down. Took forever to get our drinks but food surprisingly arrived quickly. The guacamole on my sandwich was brown and French fries undercooked. What annoys me about Dave & Busters is there rewards system. Every time w
It's like a casino for kids! Lots of games, from new to old school, stand-up and sit-down. We played for 2+ hours and didn't play everything. We got food about halfway through. We sat down had our waitress come by a couple times then we ordered. Someone else brought our food. Then we didn't see any staff. But the food was great! They missed a fry and our water. We had to wait 20 minutes after finishing for our check. Maybe it was just our section or they were busy. But the restaurant experience was about 80
We came down to Florida from Indiana. Tonight was the first game of the NBA Playoffs. With the help of our server, she helped us get tables pulled together and our whole family watched the game on the big screen TV. We munched on delicious appetizers most of the evening. Alyssa went above and beyond with service and kindness. We lit the place up in the fourth quarter when The Pacer's took the lead. We drew many other patrons over to see what all the ruckus was about. It was one of the best times we've had f
Arrived at 1pm on a holiday. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes and nobody served us. At one point, a waiter assisted tables next to us and saw us but did not ask if we wanted drinks. We left and and ate elsewhere. We promised my daughter we would play games so we did return and play but overall, the games were old and dated. Expensive for what the games were. If you plan to come, don't do it for the food and don't have high expectations.
Wanted to do something fun for Spring break so decided to go to Dave and Busters during their Wednesday half off games day! So much fun, kids had a great time! About $22 gets you 100 credits and most games averaged about 3-4 credits (thats the half value). Ended up getting the $44 special for i think 300 credits. Been a while since we ate here, but booy the food was delicious and plentiful!! We were very pleased with the speed of service and taste. Took a minute to get seated, but worth the wait. Will defin
If you like games more than the food and just want to play, this is the spot for you. Certain menu items are hit or miss. It's easy to pick on the food here. Good presentation but quality and taste on the low end. Service is also hit or miss. There is no one who seats you, you just need to wait until someone sees you and then seats you. The waitress we did get was more or less caring. Games were fun. More driven for the kiddos. Still had fun with some of the games. The Lightsaber VR needs to be recalibrated
Took daughter for fun food and games. Waitress was nice and greeting when she did present herself. I got mixed drink which took i guess allotted time. Daughter had to get sprite after I got my drink cause they didn't have tea bags for sweet tea(which i finished my drink and had to ask another waiter to get my waitress to get daughter's drink) appetizers were barely warn and my entr?e (spicy shrimp pasta) was cold (ate mostly meat) told waitress, she did take off bill. I was go give higher tip but she didn't
I came around 12pm. Staff was very friendly and helpful:. I got the 3 sliders and fries for my self and my son got the chicken tenders and fries with the mango lemonade. Really good service will go again.
My family of four decided to go on a Saturday night. Should have known since there are no deals that it was going to be crazy busy. We got there around 5 p.m., and the parking lot was full. There was a line out the door for a table, and we waited in line at the front counter to ask about cards for games. We signed up for the app and the 1st time deal. My son was the only one who could get his phone to work, and he only played a few games before getting frustrated with them and the crowdedness. My wife and I
I had some hopes of having a fun time and at least an okay experience at Dave & Buster?s in Jacksonville, FL, but it was incredibly disappointing. It's hard to believe how a place with so much potential could offer such poor and mediocre food service. When we arrived, we noticed that the restaurant was not completely full, and I saw a few empty tables. Still, we were put on a 30-minute waitlist?really?! Once seated, we quickly realized we had made a bad choice. The table was dirty, and the menu had very f
This place has gone completely downhill, and our recent visit was a reflection of it. The bartender, Ant, was combative, unprofessional, and clearly not suited for hospitality?his attitude alone ruined the night. A very weak man to say the least. The food was mediocre at best, but the service made it unbearable. On a Friday night, the place was nearly empty, which says a lot about how far it's fallen. To make matters worse, multiple games were deducting points from our Power Card without actually working, f
I didn't know how big they were. The food was great and so was the atmosphere
I was so full when I left. You will get a full plate on your order. I did wish to have the attention of the waitress more because I was on a business lunch break & needed to get back. I did have enough for a box to go. That made the meal so much better! Thank you.
EDIT: Took the owners advice and sent a complaint via the link they provided in their comment that same day and guess what??? I haven't even received an automated email saying they received it let alone a response! Not surprised that this location is garbage if corporate sucks too!! Went for dinner and games with my family. We were sat at a booth right away. We then waited, waited and waited some more for 15-20 minutes before even seeing a server. Cherise was her name I believe and she proceeded to take or
I gave the food a three due to a possible combination of the kitchen staff and the waitress who served me and the other person eating dinner with me not doing the due diligence in ensuring that everything on the plate was correct. I could go on, but I'm gonna keep it to this. Waitress did provide good customer service even with the food mistakes on my order. Didn't play any games due to the time I arrived but they looked promising, so maybe the next time when I visit Jacksonville, Florida.
We had a great time! Our service was great. The manager visited our table. When one of the games was acting up they came a fixed it quickly and gave us a free game for our trouble. In the WIN circle Kara was very helpful and kind. All in all a great family night out. 10 out of 10!
Good service, but way too expensive. Spent $300 for 4 kids to play arcade for 2 hours and 2 appetizers. Left with a empty stomach. Also bought a couple of whiskey drinks which was mainly just water and coke. Waste of money.
Great place for gaming or to watch football games..Tons of TVs and lots of great football food like wings, burgers and fries. They have the best Parmesan Garlic truffle fries. So good. Service has always been really good.
Food is good. Typical bar menu. Some of the games charged us points and never gave us game play so that was annoying. Wicked Tuna and the carnival type games were our favorite.
We had a blast here! The games were super fun :] The best part was redeeming our tickets. Avanah had such great customer service skills and really made our day!
The food was pretty good. The brussel sprouts weren't my favorite. They tasted bitter. I also didn't like that we all were charged 20% per purchase to our tickets.
My husband and I enjoy going to Dave and Buster's every time we're in Jacksonville. As always, the food and service were great. However, we have NEVER seen that place look so horrible. The prize area was bare and it looked like a bunch of kids ran through there and picked things up and then just threw it on the floor. The bathrooms were worse than an old gas station bathroom. Toilets full of toilet paper and not flushed. All of the toilet seat covers were empty. There was urine and blood on the toilet seats
Never miss. My daughter and her friends were very happy. A small mishap on my fries was fixed fairly quickly.
Update: crazy busy on a Wednesday night, so we ended up eating at the bar in less time than it took for our table to open up. The arcade experience is lots of fun and fairly unique and the food is pretty enjoyable too. I feel the service let's down some of the potential - but no firm complaints. Don't stand in line for a card, there are machines and an online app that's quicker to use. Half price Wednesdays are a good deal!
We enjoyed ourselves while we waited for our table. We did have some issues arise with our food but the manager Casey handled it better than we could have asked for or expected. We want to thank Casey for his exceptional service he provided our family and the resolution.
Great time Even better service Matthew is great bartender drinks on point ... The cook should get a pat on this back also ... the salom was great...delicious and no need to mention the stout mushrooms burger yo! On point juicy and tasty as always best burger in town ... that's what's up ...thumbs up on 5 star review ..D&B
However wonderful. We spent $260 plus cleaned our own table, and didn't need refills. Was charged $46 for tip. Wow tip should be free will!!
Our experience tonight was deeply disappointing, largely due to the behavior of the bartender named ?Ant.? His attitude, demeanor, and complete lack of professionalism were unacceptable. Individuals like him make it difficult for others to enjoy themselves, especially in an environment that's already struggling. The overall quality of the venue has noticeably declined ? from the subpar food to limited game options and malfunctioning machines. Adding poor customer service on top of that only makes things wo
I was here in March and I tried the shrimp dip and the chicken wings. I loved them both. My family was there and we played a few games. Back home in Virginia the only DDR machine we had was removed so it was really good to see and play on a DDR machine. The staff is nice and friendly as well as the atmosphere if fun and lively
Went for a 9th birthday party on a Saturday. Everything ran very smoothly and we had a blast. We were having so much fun that we hung around even after the party ended. Made me feel like a kid at the arcade again.
The margarita practically did not have tequila . The nachos were just the chips with the creamy sauce and a lil chicken and a lil of the other ingredients. When I go to others D&B the nachos are other level . So this time was disappointing. The food was great. The waitress was good. The place is very nice and great games . Parking is big!
We ate before we played. Food was amazing. Our server was soon nice and great with our children. Then we went to play and ordered a mixed drink and a regular coke. No to-go cups at the bar. Was told to ask a server. Server was not happy with me at all. Told me they didn't have to-go cups but we had left ours on the table. She said they are only for kid. I said it was for my kid. She rolled her eyes at me and went to get my cup. She was obviously angry bc I had another mixed drink. I don't feel like I did an
This was our 1st time at Dave & Buster's and upon arriving I became extremely nervous because there were little to no masks being worn by ANYONE. As a matter of fact, people looked at us as if WE were wrong for wearing masks! ?? Yet, I digress. They had a good selection of games & my kids had a fun time. If you want to avoid a loooong wait, I would HIGHLY recommend making a reservation if you want or need a table to sit & eat. During our visit, most of the staff was acting ill tempered & attitudinal, but th
Walked in and reserved a table for me and my son, they said it would be an hour and a half, after I waited the hour and half with my son, we where told our reservation has been taken we have to wait another hour smh very very very poor service I told my son we was never going back there again he was very upset he couldn't enjoy the food and games. Never again I have been hearing bad things about that Dave and Busters I had to see for my self yeah it's horrible big "F" for the rating
Tonight was packed full of fun for our family we ordered some delicious food and drinks thanks Nikki! Out on the game floor Dylan was great at helping us with that bowling game haha. Will be coming again!
I recently visited Dave & Buster's on a weekday afternoon and was extremely disappointed with the service. There was no host or guest assistance at the front desks. I stood there for a long time , and even another customer commented on my wait, saying, "Dang, they just left you?" I approached the bartender for help but she was busy on her cell phone and her demeanor was unwelcoming and unprofessional; she didn't smile or greet me, I just had to explicitly ask for assistance. While I understand it was a slo
Had a great time with my wife here on our wedding anniversary. Ended up there after dinner and had a blast playing all the games. The adult drinks we had were delicious as well.
I stay across the street at one of the hotels for work so I come to DAB a lot. I set up at the bar every time because the service and the bartenders are amazing! My drinks are always full, the bartenders are always friendly and prompt!! I always have good service, good food and a good time! A few names that I can think of... Brittany, Mathew, Jose, and Piper. You guys rock! Thanks for always making my solo visit fun! I would also like to give a shout out to one of the bar backs that work so hard!! This gu
We came here to eat and play - kinda bummed they don't have the eat & play deal anymore where you got some game plays for getting food. The food wasn't even that great. Prolly won't be back here again for eating... maybe for play though. We came during the week around lunch and it was pretty empty in there.. which is a bonus because not very many people getting in your way etc.
I had some issues with the kiosk for my eat and play deal and ms Renee Richards, Ms Liz (one waitress) Ms Alyssa (my second waitress) and your wonderful tech support Ms Jess are just so fabulous and friendly they made this experience so awesome best experience by far from any D&Bs let alone a restaurant next time I come to Jacksonville I will definitely come back here! Keep it up!!
I guess it's not really their fault but the experience seems outdated. Just times change I suppose. Need to calibrate their machines and fix the ski ball.
Awesome food and excellent experience. Our server Mike Larry went above and beyond and made sure my son?s birthday was a blast! Definitely coming back!
BEWARE when paying! We went late at night with our two boys and got dinner and a card for games. We got seated in a timely manner and then it went downhill. Our server took forever to come around to introduce himself and get drink orders. When he finally came back with drink orders my sprite had no syrup in it only carbonation I asked to change it out with a different soda and he looked annoyed at me even after I explained why. Just to get our first round of drinks it took twenty minutes. Wasn't upset yet.
Great amount of games fun for the whole family. Very clean and staff was great. Good flow of people. Prices was fair on drinks and games. Went as part of a group and whole group had a good time. The best game was they bowling and the star wars game. Had good mix of classical and new aged games. Return trip is already being planned. Thanks d&b. Oh download the app.
The dark skin young lady at the front desk when buying the cards was not nice at all. She had a I don't care look on her face. We wasn't greeted I spoke to her and she said nothing back. Then we go sit down at our table we waited 15-20 mins for our server Jenna. Then she wanted to be extra nice after having us wait long. I could tell the real from the fake. I understand it was crowded. But at least come and say I'll be right with you guys sorry for your wait. For me to spend over 300 should have been better
My kid loves it. They have ton of deals. Check out the app and website. We usually eat and play.
Waited over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and get me a glass of water and they told me that somebody else would get me a drink and a menu which I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for. As you can see in the pictures it wasn't that busy at the bar, there's a lot of people walking around not doing much. Once the food came it was actually good except for the rubbery cauliflower. If this is the only option close to you then go, otherwise go somewhere with better service and better food.
Michael our server was great very kind and friendly. He wanted to sure we was happy & satisfied with the service. Well done job serving us.
Outside of the lovely Manager, trying to make it right I would give this experience a zero. I feel like the bartender which is a gentleman with a long ponytail is completely racist. As I was at the bar with an African-American gentleman and he stared down at us for 12 minutes without assisting at all. There was nobody else that needed to place an order at the bar except for us. I had to yell across the bar to even get him to come down to give me some service. But before posting this, this was actually my se
Waiting 1hr15mins+ for a table is usually the norm on the weekends; However, Great Service by Sarah! She was very chill & down to earth. The Food came out Fast and Fresh! Great Atmosphere for hanging out. #DANGEROUSWATERSISLANDPUNCH ??
Come here for my birthday and was unbelievably disappointed. After coming up to the bar, I stood by the front. I wasn't acknowledged by then for 10 mins! Then when I finally got a chance to order I was told I couldn't get more than 1 drink even if I stood at the bar as well as couldn't order food unless I was sitting at the bar. There were no seats available, a table at the bottom of the bar had 8 chairs. I asked could I get one of those, she said no. I went to try to get a booth and was told it was a 2hr w
Came here for food and some games on a work trip. Large assortment on the menu and cheap beer during football games. The food was reasonably priced however lacked quality and some items were definitely better than others. Highly recommend the pretzel, burger and fish and chips. Would avoid the nachos and chicken sandwich. Others in our group were a big fan of the ribs. The games were enjoyable and overall the place wasn't very busy which allowed lots of opportunity to play whatever you wanted. Service st
My family and I went in for a fun early evening on Friday night. Shy was our server and did an excellent job. Kara was the person helping us at the prize area and she was also fantastic! She was very patient with my little one while she picked out her prizes. Thank you for your patience.
The steak salad with blue cheese would be excellent if the steak were more tender. The Caribbean luxe Long Island tastes nothing like a Long Island, but it was delicious! I knew everything would take time, but with it still being short staffed it took 25 minutes just to get my bill and pay so that was disappointing.
Super packed an could barely get any orders in to place for my food alot of the workers there was either too distracted or busy helping others need more staff. Other than that everything was great enjoyed the games.
Expensive!! The food was ok!! The pictures on the menu had our expectation level up very high. Adam was the bomb waiter though. He took care of us after our other waitress went home sick. The games our good for older kids at least 5 and up. Younger kids not so much!! It was definitely an experience. The pretzel pizza was not good!! My sister enjoyed her pasta dish after it was corrected. We went at a perfect time a day. Busy but not overly crowded.
We had a great time. It wasn't too crowded. The food could use some work but we didn't go for the food. We went for the games. The pool tables are better than average. The selection of games are modern and a varied. It's a great place to take the kids and let them have fun while the adults hang out and have some food and drinks.
Our server, Michael was AWESOME! We appreciate his great service and attentiveness!! We will make sure to ask for his section every time we stop in! Thanks for a fun Sunday afternoon with our friends!!
Food and drinks were eeehh... I visited here primarily to watch AEW Dynasty after getting information on viewing a few weeks ago. I at least know that I will stick to watching these events at home. Last match and the event went past midnight, so they shut off the TVs, said "sorry" (no you're not), where the only thing left was for me to get kicked out. No wonder I was the only one there really watching. In exception to one server, the others gave me vibes where their mindset was that I wasn't going to
If you're going to Dave & Buster?s, you should just go for the games and drinks. The food is disgusting very bland overcooked they burn everything ,cajun shrimp pasta disgusting the garlic bread was burnt was really disappointed first impressions or everything that place is going downhill half the games did not work. They just might as well shut down.
Worst place ever I visit Dave & Buster?s about a week ago play games with the kids ordered food. I never received worst waitress ever had attitude. I went to the bar to get a drink. Even the bartender had an attitude. I never got any food nothing to drink and as soon as my grandkids got through playing, I left and Val never to return.
Always a great place! Check out the human crane!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
