I haven't been in a few years. Brought two of my friends who both had a combo with gameplay. One was a smash burger, beer, and $20 gameplay. The other bacon smash burger, coke, and $20 gameplay. I just got the barbacoa quesadillas. The burgers are really good, but the lettuce was starting to brown. The quesadillas are nothing like the picture on the menu. They are soggy and were not served with sour cream. They did taste okay but not on par as I expected. The service is good. I have no complaints, but she g
Disappointing Service at Dave & Buster's - 2 Stars Our recent visit to Dave & Buster's was unfortunately marred by extremely poor service at the bar area. We arrived in the evening, hoping to grab dinner for our family, especially since it seemed the waitstaff wasn't present. Our understanding was that the bartender would be taking food orders for families in this situation. However, the bartender on duty completely ignored us. Despite our attempts to make eye contact and signal we were ready to order, he c
My husband and I enjoyed a great date here! The mozzarella sticks make for a great appetizer. I loved my grilled chicken sandwich with a side of truffle fries and he loved his all-American cheeseburger with added bacon. The s'more cheesecake is definitely enough for 2 to share.
Waited 45 minutes over all for service and 30 on food for our food that was supposed to feed 2-4 people to look like this. Drink was so watered down. Server was trying her best. Half of the games were down. Bad experience overall
This place was awful compared to the one in Kentucky. The service was trash they had 2 servers for the entire restaurant area. The bacon burger barely had bacon on it. The server barely came to our table for drink refills. The mozzarella sticks weren't even hot when they got to the table. The place wasn't even busy had maybe 10 tables of customers in a huge place. The games were overpriced. I tried playing candy crush. It wanted me to swipe 4 times for one play! And you only get 5 moves. I asked an employee
Outstanding Dining Experience with Exceptional Service I recently dined at Dave and Busters, and it was truly a memorable experience. The food was incredible?beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. What made the evening unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service from the supervisor, Kevin. From the moment we arrived, he ensured everything was perfect, from our seating to his spot-on wine recommendations. He was attentive, friendly, and handled the bustling restaurant effortlessly, making u
Terrible experience?went for an eat and play and the staff were not competently trained and it looks like the Mac and Cheese was heated up Kraft. The manager?s kids were in a booth near us running around yelling. Good thing he was there to yell at his children in front of us. The meals we ordered came out 25 minutes apart from each other.
I want to start off by saying I was looking forward to coming here for weeks because I had a bunch of gift cards. I was ready to spend hours here and even come back. We started off by waiting to be seated for 30 minutes even though there was no line and a ton of tables. So they are obviously understaffed. But they could?ve at least seated us. Then when we finally sat, multiple walk-ins, not just the parties infront of us, were seated immediately and got their food before we even saw a server. We got drinks
Fun experience. Food is surprisingly good for an entertainment place. Arcades are fun and varied.
The food was disgusting and the service was slow, makes sense because there is only one person taking orders and being a bartender. I saw a bunch of people who work there just sitting around at tables instead of helping customers as well. The manager, Kevin, was extremely rude, condescending and unpleasant. He should not be in charge of running any sort of business. He was visibly aggressive towards my friends girlfriend when all she did was ask him how he could resolve a situation they were dealing with. M
Came here with family, to play games with kids and pick up dinner. Overall great time, the games were great and in working condition. Lines were not too bad when we went. Eating dinner there, bit of a challenge for the wait staff as they kept telling us to use a QR code to digitally order and manage our check online, but could not figure out how to clear the previous tables bill. Feel like we waited around at our table for 15 minutes just to order. Once they went back to traditional ordering it was just fi
Fist time going to a "adult" version of a chuck e cheese but it certainly didn't disappoint. Staff was on time never made it feel like it would take forever to continue, and the food was very tasty I would recommend the crispy chicken sandwhich. The games were great, plenty of options to choose from as well as prizes. Definitely would come back when things line up for me personally
Went today for my son?s birthday and staff was amazing. Staff was amazing. The manager Kevin was very personable and accommodating to our party and needs. Top notch.. Karen our server was also great. Prompt with everything and very kind. Will be back for our next birthday or get together.
The parking lot was empty. We are in town for the weekend and stopped by but the reviews and empty lot almost kept us out. When we came in for lunch? there was no one to greet us. Someone eventually arrived. The food was great! I have no complaints about presentation or temperature. Our server checked on us regularly. The bathrooms are very clean. But we decided not to play any games based on some of these reviews. Our experience is pretty good.
Ordered food never received it. Took my order set part of my order at the register. Took 30 min to take my order. Set at bar for 2 hours waiting for food. No one assisted with getting game cards either. Need more staff and was not crowded. Still waiting to be cashed out.
My daughter on her 23rd birthday wanted to go to Dave & Buster?s now I have been to Dave & Buster?s in San Diego over a decade and a half ago so I wasn't sure what to expect for the Dave & Buster?s in Castleton Indiana. And after coming to this, Dave & Buster?s, I was more than satisfied with the atmosphere the service and all the fun. My daughter and her friends were having.! So if you're going to Dave & Buster?s in Castleton, Indiana, ask for Levi he is a top notch server who will go above and beyond!
We had our kids skip their afternoon classes and made the 2.5 hour drive to Indy for my son's birthday. Stopped by the record store, Top Golf, Cheesecake Factory, and then Dave & Busters. Dave & Busters did their best to ruin a great day with the family. My kids spent about $60 to play games. My youngest loves the baseball speed gun game. He was throwing too hard and it wouldn't register a lot of his throws. Right down the middle and it consistently didn't read over 80 mph. He did get it to say 80 once. Th
So much fun!! They have an obscene amount of games to play, which is fantastic. I'm so glad that we decided to go there. I look forward to going back and having more fun with my kid lol
We came with our 4 year old. We racked up 5000 points on the card. We were in the prize selection area and picked out our stuff and LOST OUR CARD!!! Will behind the counter helped me track the card that we purchased, my wife went over to the front, and someone actually found it. Thank you to Will for helping us with great customer service and concern.
Not a good place for 21 and under..So I have to edit this Review so it can make sense to the intelligent one that responded. A 21-year-old can come in your establishment and not be able to buy food however they can buy drinks of the alcoholic nature and you serve them..Makes no sense at ALL.
Quick walk thru and counted 25 games out of order. None of the kiosks would work to recharge our cards. Asked a guy how to recharge our cards and he directed us to the bartender. The bartender was the only helpful person actually working. He was the bartender, but also the server and host. He had already worked a full shift and was stuck working a double until close because no one else showed up. Props to the one person in the entire place with a good work ethic that cares about his job. We have a been to t
Waited on service for 10 minutes just looking around. Our server that the manager brought out; after asking the bar for service had a crappy attitude. A good portion of the games do not work an will take your coins if that's what they are called. Everyone seems unhappy with their job here. It kills the vibe
Took my son here for boys night out. He loved it. All the games they had were pretty fun for us to play together. I liked that the games weren't just set up for children. Adults can easily play too. They do serve food and drinks as well as alcohol, but please drink responsibly. We spent about $100 for just gameplay and we're there for about 2 hrs playing different games.
Absolutely horrible! The employees are incredibly rude and hateful. Waited 20 minutes just to get sat in the dining room, the host yelled at us because my family couldn't fit in a booth. Then we waited another 45 minutes for our server to even come to our table. My dad and i left to the bar so we could get something to drink, while we were gone the server tried to make my mom leave the table sense we went to get drinks from the bar. We wanted to order food but she then told us that since we weren't eating w
Games are fun for the kids and adults. A bit overpriced for what you get. However fun no matter. Food is subpar. The nachos could have had some more toppings, too many chips for the cost. The pot stickers were soggy and bland, compensated by too much heat. My daughter loved the kids Cheeseburger and fries, said it was one of the best she has had in a while. The servers are very pleasant and professional. Came often enough to make sure we were happy.
Avoid This Location ? Poor Management, Broken Games, and Ridiculous Charges Visited on the evening of 6/5 and had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a family entertainment center. The manager on duty had a clear ?I don't care? attitude. Before I even said a word, her body language and expression made it obvious she didn't want to be there?and definitely didn't want to help. She was not courteous, showed zero interest in listening, and didn't express any concern about the issues I brought up. I e
Me and my Family love it here!! We had a BLAST WEDNESDAY last minute decision because our other plans didn't go thru as planned. We played took pictures and ate some damn good food?? We did have a few issues but the staff fixed it we got 2 free virtual rides out of it..... We went on Transformers and Terminator AWESOME ??
I went back twice in 2 weeks. I fell in love with the walking dead game! When I went back the second time to specifically play the walking dead, the machine was down and I was devastated! There were many other games down as well that I wanted to play so we didn't stay as long. Food was good first time and this time there was 1.5 hour wait.
Extremely expensive for a place that has no order whatsoever. My 13-year-old daughter and I went there on a Saturday night for fun and it was so overly crowded. You couldn't sit down to eat so we placed a pick up order and when it was finally time to pick it up, there was literally no staff member that even knew where I was supposed to pick up this food that cost me $60 for just the two of us and nothing to be impressed with once we finally did get to eat it. We had to go out to my car to sit and eat becaus
It's frustrating to go to a place meant for people to play games and the basketballs are mostly deflated (they weren't the previous time we went), when only one skee-ball machine works but only has two balls, other games had flattened footballs and other balls and the games are atrociously FILTHY (photo attached of a game we wanted to play but refused to touch the obviously filthy area we were supposed to touch) and many of the games don't work properly or are flat out broken. We appreciate they make the ef
This place is truly dreadful. Visiting feels like being trapped in a relentless nightmare. The food is mediocre at best, and the staff's treatment is far from pleasant. Each time we go, we encounter problems, whether it's being overcharged or dealing with the unpleasant demeanor of the employees, including the managers. On top of the terrible service, the prices are exorbitant. I really wish the experience matched the cost. Ultimately, we've made the decision to never return.
First off I messed up my party date and showed up with my whole family. The manager fixed the date and still accommodated us. They went above and beyond. Are server was the best. The food was great and the staff was amazing. All my future party's will be held here just because of the staff alone ( not to mention the fun games and good food ?? ). Thank you Dave and Busters for helping us even when the mix up was my fault!!!!!!!
What a great place! Fun and exciting atmosphere. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. There were lots of really fun games, I had a blast. Was there for a company team building outing, hosted by Dave and Buster's and they did a great job. The food was good and the staff was very engaging. On your own, it with a group I would recommend this place.
It took forever to be acknowledged for starters and the place looked like a ghost town. The drink pictured on the menu is what I ordered and the drink you see in the picture is what came to me. Unappetizing to say the least. For my second drink, one garnish was excluded entirely and the other was rotten & slimy. A manager came by to check on us and we informed him of the items we were missing. We never saw him again or received the missing items so we later asked for them to be removed from our bill. This a
Literally a waste of my time and money. Almost every game we played was broken! Kept taking the token off the game card but the games itself wasn't working. Employees were no where to be found at the prize store. And then when we did ask for the help we still had to wait about 10 minutes to receive. It. One female employee had a complete attitude because I asked her for help. Absolutely the worst experience! And I used to come here a lot. Now they just need to throw the whole place in the trash.
Arcades and entertainment centers have always been a bit of a money pit but it feels like Dave and Busters has become exceptionally expensive within the last year or so. The cost of a single game works out to be around $2 and most last less than 30 seconds. On top of this, the games frequently have significant wear and tear which makes them unpredictable and often, a complete rip-off. Although this D&B location is relatively clean, it benefits from virtually no competition nearby and can thus charge higher
Wow. Server was amazing. She was trying her hardest. However, the kitchen here is a mess. We had everything from wings taking an hour and a half. There? were gnats crawling around on a salad. Cheeseburger sliders that came out without cheese. And then took an extra 30 minutes to be corrected. Appetizers came out after the entrees. Drinks were watered down. Ordered a bourbon on the rocks. Received a shot glass. We were here last year, had same similar things happen. Although last year wings took 2 1/2 hours
Nearly every game we played was broken somehow. Many of them didn't work at all and there was no sign to warn you. I basically donated $20 to them because of this. Many of the games were sticky and just felt gross to touch. It doesn't seem like they get wiped down often enough. There were no servers at the bar so we couldn't order water. There was only one guy trying to fix all the machines by himself. We went on a Sunday afternoon, so maybe it's better staffed on Fridays/Saturdays?
Ribs were actually good! If you know about Dave and Busters, then you know there are kids and games here but there is food. The ribs I had were actually good. Pros - Food was good - Service was ok, (understaffed) - An good amount of games Cons - Usually a wait in two different lines - A good chunk of games were broken or under repair A surprise with food, but games for kids.
I had a fun date night here with my husband but they were clearly understaffed. We waited so long every time we ordered a drink or food. The place was incredibly dirty with spilled drinks everywhere. The bathroom was clearly never attended to, it was out of toilet paper and paper towels each time I went in. The floors were covered in spills and used TP and paper towels.
The food was ok. 2 out of 4 drinks were good. Games kinda sucked. Several were not working. Mainly all video games that u could play at home. The service was good and friendly. First time going, and I was disappointed.
Took 10 minutes just to get a server to get our drink and appetizer order. Then the appetizer came out with our food ????? it tasted delicious but I'm sure it would have been even better if it was hot when it arrived! There were only a handful of customers so plenty of games were open. We did enjoy playing the games and the virtual reality game was pretty awesome. It was a little pricey for the amount of games we got to play for the amount of money. I had high hopes for this place and I gotta say I was kind
Some games need to be replaced or fixed. I think I lost about 100 tokens because the game wasn't working. Saturday night is one hecka busy night. Our bartender is a drink making machine. MVP goes to Dee! He was doing a ton of work in comparison to some of the others. However they all were slammed. We waited a bit to be seen again after our initial order but again our bartender was legit doing 1000% of the other orders. This used to be my favorite location but I think I like the greenwood location a litt
If you are planning a night out make sure you eat beforehand. The service is slow at best and your food will be cold when you get it. Some of the staff is attentive and some don't interact well with patrons.
I wish I could give this place negative stars. I feel robbed of my time and money. We couldn't get anyone to serve us. We were seated for 15 minutes without anyone as much as greeting us. As a sever walked by we asked for our sever. She said she would get someone. Waiting another few minutes and nobody showed up. They were not busy. It seemed all the waitresses were hiding in back. We got up and decided we weren't going to eat there. We went to go play the games with our child. Too many games were broken an
First time at Dave & Buster's. *Our family went on a Saturday night* Pros: Games were very fun and pretty affordable. Great prizes to choose from at the end, and the staff was pretty helpful when needed. Food was great tasting and drinks were as expected. Cons: The amount of people in there was concerning. There was about a 12 minute wait upon entry to get our playing cards. Thirty five minute wait for a table. And at least a two-players-away line at each game. Take into conservation all the parents and fam
Rin took care of our group gathering for our company outing. The food and service was amazing. I would recommend having any company outing here and make sure to request the great server Rin.
Dave&Busters in Indianapolis is a fun place to visit for play & work! I attended a work meeting with 40 other people; we were at up in a large conference room and served a great lunch. Not to mention, we were able to play some games on the side!
It was kind of loud, hard to carry on a decent conversation, but that is to be expected. To clarify: the restaurant was not busy, the noise was coming from the Dave & Busters radio station playing over the speakers. It just seemed too loud for lunch and the less than 50 people there.
Would give a zero if I could. Had reservations at 5 but was told since we have 2 people less than what was originally planned maybe we could get a table earlier?.NOPE?.had to wait even longer when CLEARLY THERE WERE EMPTY TABLES THAT THEY COULD HAVE EASILY JUST MOVED TOGETHER FOR JUST 7 PEOPLE!!!!! Food was okay but had to wait on our waitress more than anyone should then when we received our bill they had a 20% tip added to it which is what they stated they required for a LARGE PARTY BUT ONLINE THE LARGE P
I had high hopes for this Dave and Buster's but was sadly disappointed. I want to say first, I don't blame the employees. They were all busy and working hard. It was either extra busy or they were understaffed. Or maybe both. My wife and I sat at the bar. Service was slow, but no big deal, we weren't in a hurry. The 2 bartenders were very busy, and you could tell they were frustrated. One kept quietly mumbling things, she was definitely having a rough one. When we got our food, half of it was cold. About 7
I think 3.9 is a fare review given the amount you pay for a subpar food and It's unfortunately the way Dave& Buster's has become a greedy franchise that the games horribly rigged most games are 10.9 to 10.7 points to play. Yes, they have moved to a decimal system and $20 get you 100 points so that you might get you 10 games but the game's last no more than 3 minutes each so it also depends on what you play, higher end games are 20 to 40, but then there's also a card fee and activation fee. It's not like how
For kids what's there not to like. And for Adults plenty of games to enjoy. Best day to visit is Wednesday to get more bang for your buck. They also have great selection of the drinks.
First, I wanted to start off by saying our server Wren was above and beyond. She was amazing at her job and really worked the room. So please be sure to share that because she was absolutely amazing and did so much to make our visit exceptional. She was running around checking in on if anyone needed drinks, she was being engaging and fun, she was listening and was just overall amazing. I also want to add that this was a company event and so we were a bigger group that had rented out a room. However, when w
I actually am here now I have to change my review I called about one game and they said it was working and came in and was not. I brought my autistic son who only will play the clown game he is non verbal and I cant explain to him why he can't play I just look really mean now. When someone calls please really go look so nobody gets disappointed again.
Brought my grandson here for fun, he enjoyed it. Overall , could use some additional training in service etiquette, things were confusing and slow. But that's probably to be expected on a busy Saturday night.
Our server was exceptional, however when we walked and walked to the desk at the door. The girl was avoiding eye contact and ignoring us. We had to ask where to go to get service as this was our first time. She responded very rude with the host stand. Not very visible from the door, and there were 2 places that could possibly be the host stand. Asked again where is that and she was rude.
Witnessed like a 6 yr old ask a waitress for 2 sprites very politely, she looked at him with disgust and walked away. The kid then stood there confused for like 20 seconds. I asked the boy if he asked her for drinks and she ignored him, he said yes. I asked a group of waitresses to get him his 2 sprites politely and another waitress said he has to have his parents to get sodas. The second waitress did her job correctly was polite to the boy and myself. The first waitress, I did not get her name, ignored my
We came here to buy some time we had our teenage Sons with us so they can play and eat.. we were in there July 6th and they didn't have anything no pasta no salmon no tacos it was just not a good experience so I just had appetizer which was very disappointing my drink was also very weak and I don't even drink like that but I drunk the whole thing because it tastes like juice I don't think I'll ever visit this location again when I come to Indiana
Our family had such an amazing time. We are from KY. and we thought we would bring the kids up to come play at Dave and Busters! The atmosphere, the food, and the staff was excellent!! We will definitely be returning!! We are grateful and thankful for such a place as this!!! Miller Family of 4 From Ky.
Had a great time did the $60 eat and play combo i had the smashed cheese burger so good 3 patties on it!! they tap you out at 1500 tickets but it's fine had enough to get two things from there prize shop what a blast I'll be going back for sure ??
We had amazing time I can't remember the server name but she did amazing job we had. Bday party for my girlfriend and her granddaughter. Everyone enjoyed the food. The kids enjoyed the games. So Tku for a wonderful time. Chris w. We was in showroom 1 on Sat the 29th
I go to Dave and busters a lot and I really enjoy their game selection. I have had problems before with machines not paying out jackpots properly but most of the time the management will do the best they can to fix a problem. Their food is good and the atmosphere is fun. It's a Great place to take kids and also a good sports bar if that's what you're looking for. Overall I would recommend visiting. Wednesday?s are the best for their half-price games.
1/2 Off Cocktails and Tokens on Wednesday. I ate dinner there and the food was delicious. Service was slow though, and there was a mistake with my check though (i.e. friend's beer was on my bill). A lot of the games were shutdown for social distancing so that was a big bummer. Games that were down included Luigi's Mansion, Skii ball, and almost all of the coin pushers, except one.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
