Dave & Buster's offers a mixed experience with strong points in entertainment but inconsistent food and service. Many praise the fun arcade, helpful staff, and great atmosphere, especially for parties. However, complaints highlight broken games, overpriced food/drinks, and occasional poor service. Customer Reviews

The food is expensive. I ordered a house salad that was mainly a bowl of lettuce. It had maybe a teaspoon of cheese and 2 cherry tomatoes with a couple of choices of dressing.y granddaughter ordered fries and cheese sticks that was really good. They have a very big game room with lots of gaming machines. That is fun.

Daughter wanted to come for her 6th birthday. The food was amazing and you can't beat the Wednesday 1/2 price games. Daughter had a shirt that said birthday girl and the gentleman that brought us our food was so nice to her it made her night. But then 30 minutes later he came to find her playing games and gave her a personal birthday card. That's stuff that you don't except from people much anymore and he completely went above and beyond. We will be back every chance we get because of this awesome emplo

Amazing arcade, lots of fun! A few of the games were broken, so needs better maintenance. Also it's difficult for a kid to get a drink, and you work up a thirst. We sat at a table and stood at the bar and couldn't get service so I dropped a star. Games are expensive I spent over $200 i should be able to hydrate my kids.

I feel like the games are getting more and more expensive. To put into prospective, it's about $100 a hour. I love that they have sanitizer stations around. If a game breaks, a worker will make up for it. The restaurant area had a bad reek of weed from a worker with a high position (he clearly didn't realize others could smell it on his clothes and his breath) but it's 2025, so not a big deal unless you're against it. He smelt like a lit walking blunt, that filled the air ????? Some workers didn't have kn

Went yesterday with my girlfriend. We sat down to eat first. And I wanted a steak bowl. Got told they didn't have any kinda steak in the back. So I got somethin else which was fine. We then went to play on the arcade side, an quickly noticed half the games were broken or didn't work properly. Over all, customer service and food were good. Waitress was awesome. Food was good, an it was nice seeing the manager making his rounds checking on different tables. Only complaint i have is about the games not workin

Took our 7 year old, who loves arcades, for his birthday and he loved it! Lots of fun for Mom, Dad, and kid! We did not try the restaurant part, as we were just going for the arcade.

Our fantasy football league was searching for a place to host our dynasty draft get-together and we stumbled on this wonderful Dave & Buster's location. From beginning to end, they provided a top-notch experience and our group had a blast. A special shout-out to Lamin and Ryan for making us feel welcome and getting us set up. Also, our incredible server, Jam, had amazing energy and went above and beyond to make our day memorable. The facilities and food were excellent as well. Thank you, D&B. 10/10. We will

This place is great especially for sports enthusiasts as they have lots of tv?s showing many games and events. We ordered desserts, s?mores cheesecake and brownie sundae. Both are delicious the cheesecake is very sweet on the border of being too sweet. The brownie sundae was good but it would have been so much better if the brownie was warmed a little. It was hard like it was frozen so it made it hard to eat and waiting fur it to reach room temp just had the ice cream melting creating a soup. Both desserts

So overall, my kids and I enjoy coming here on Wednesdays but this summer we also bought the Summer Pass while they are out of school. At first, the card was great but Dave and Busters has since put so many restrictions on the cards that they are barely useable. Definitely regret the purchase

I always have an amazing time when I come here I love the steak when I tell you it's better than most expensive steak restaurants and that henny nirvana drink is hands down the best. Always new games to play.

We enjoyed our food. The noise level was a little loud, bleeding over from the game area. If we had realized that the elevated seats we choose didn't have an elevated floor to go with it, we probably would have asked for different seating, so our feet touched the floor. Overall, it was a good experience. We would go back again. Just choosing seating a little further from the game area.

Always a fun time, but this was our first time at this location and it didn't even have any pool tables. We were disappointed, but the kids had a lot of fun and that's what really mattered. D&B is ALWAYS a bit pricey, but we have come to expect that. We went on a Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised that there was only a short wait time on food/ tables.

There is no place with better, per dollar value. Food is very good, staff is very friendly. This particular location has deals a lot of the time, I recommend signing up for Dave and buster rewards, they will text you when deals are available and the progression system on the app is actually insane value. Example $60 Eat and play combo, comes with 90 minute unlimited play card. (This is only temporary promotion.) They do stuff like this a lot, and it keeps me coming back! No other arcade I've been to

Only gave it 2 stars because the games were fun. The guy at the bar with the tattoos and long hair was super unapproachable. We asked him how to redeem our tickets and he just never came back to us. Waisted 2000 tickets that we didn't even get to use on an app because he quite literally never spoke to us again. Will only be back for the games.

My husband and I came to this location to get a late lunch. We got seated right away, but what really upset us was we waited 25-30 minutes and still didn't get our drink orders let alone didn't even get to order anything! There was a girl with long red hair in a pony twin with glasses that was stuck on her phone the whole time. We watched and waited until we decided to leave. Even walked right past her and she didn't even acknowledge us. (Date) June 7th, 2025 around 2-3 pm.

Our group was really hoping to come here for good food and fun. After being seated on a night that wasn't very busy it took 45 mins plus to get our food, I'm sure like most businesses in the area they might be short staffed. Got our food and the kids cheese pizza was not good so we sent it back, the chips in our nachos had stale ones and unfortunately the asparagus was not good either. They did remove the pizza from our bill as that was the only one we gave a complaint on. We did enjoy the gaming area, ther

Great birthday experience, good food and great service. Kids had a blast.

I brought my kids here very rude customer service... We literally sat in the dinning hall for over 30 mins just to have to get up and go find a waiter and ask for someone to come take our order. I could have understood if they were busy but they where 2 other couples in there sitting down the bar had 4 people. The waiters literally seen us sitting there and went back to the bar.....Very unprofessional

TJ and trivia is always fun! Machine messed up and gave us 130000 tickets thinking we could get the nintendo switch but the manager froze our card and took the tickets off sadly. Food is normally really good

Absolutely loved it! The food was awesome and the prices were reasonable! They also have a combo that includes several dishes to choose from that come with game play! Awesome!!!

Our waitress Alex was fantastic!!! She was nice and friendly! The service was great and the food was really good. The game area was fun they have a few new games there. It was a good time for everyone!!

Highly recommend!!!!! Came on a Friday to celebrate my son?s 7th birthday. It was an UNFORGETTABLE experience. Both kids and adults had an amazing time. Bob was so helpful and understanding, he made sure that my son had the best birthday ever! Thank you so much for a wonderful time. Will definitely be returning!!

Definitely worth going for the drinks & games, food on the other hand... not so much. Had varieties of different menu items, all which I am not impressed with. But then again, it is D&B. Come for the entertainment. If you are ever looking for a deal : Wings + unlimited games are great fun!

Love this place. Service is always amazing, and it definitely is one of my favorite places to have fun at and pass time, the food there is incredible and inexpensive.

They had 1 amazing waiter for almost 11 plus tables. The games are made for children of atleast maybe 10 not really for younger kids. Took maybe 15 min to grab a drink from the bar since we were waiting to be served for a bit. Just wasnt what we expected at all.

Slaw was horrible & looked awful. Fries were cold when they arrived at the table. Waitress was very attentive & nice. It's probably the worst D&B food I've ever had.

We had a large party eating. They bought our food out separately. Took to long. But food was good. We had fun though.

No one in my group had ever been to Dave and Busters before, so when we walked in and there was no one at the desk and no signs indicating what our first steps should be, we were a little confused. We figured it out, though, and we each ordered an eat and play combo. We got our cards and went to play. The first game we tried (Hungry Hungry Hippos) took our "chips" but did not work. Next we tried the giant claw machine, and the claw did not close. We tried a basketball game, and only one ball came out. We tr

When my adult son said he wanted to go to Dave and Busters for his birthday, I was mildly interested but agreeable. We had a great time. Started with drinks and football at the bar. We downloaded their app and used our phones to play games instead of buying the little cards, which made it much easier. It even credited out points for the games straight to our app. Lots of cook games to play. I think the basketball connect four was our favorite. Fun for everyone, give them a try.

The food is decent enough but the ?unlimited play? is a total rip off. Paid $60 thinking my son would have unlimited play time (and be able to earn tickets the entire time) WRONG. You only get the 1500 in tickets it comes programmed with but you can't earn anymore. What a waste of money and joke of a ?deal?. If these people had any intelligence they would explain that instead of just assuming everyone will know.

Zach is amazing at managing this place. I had an amazing time at this location, all the games worked , the food was DELICIOUS & they don't have restrictions on games like most places. I loved the prize selection also, Will definitely be back if in the area .

Hosted a ?family day? work party here yesterday. The pricing was reasonable and the party ran smoothly. Noticeably, the customer service was OVER THE TOP. This was true for every employee I had contact with. I have not experienced customer service like that in quite a while. The food was very good as well. The kids and adults enjoyed the games with prepaid cards. We would definitely use Dave & Buster?s as a venue again!

The first time we went to a Dave and Busters was in Augusta, Ga, and it was a very mediocre experience, the service and the food were both very blah. We came to this one since this is what our granddaughter wanted for her birthday. It was a 180 from the Augusta experience. The service as so special, absolutely phenomenal. I wish I'd gotten the name of the middle aged man that took such extreme care of us. He was absolutely wonderful! Then there was the food. We didn't expect much, since our experience in Au

I had so much fun with my children, niece, & nephew. They are all different in ages with me being the only adult who had the best time like I was a child. The tickets weren't that expensive, I spent like $122.00 for 900 game/arcade tickets. Literally we arrived at 10:30pm & left at 12:00am. Here in my city Anderson SC we don't have anything like Dave & Buster?s my time was well spent. Me & my kiddos didn't get to experience the service or food we were busy running around swiping the game/arcade card. The at

Most of the arcade machines revolve around some sort of gambling. You are either trying to win collectable cards or tickets to exchange for prizes. Many of these gambling machines are in such a poor state of repair, they no longer offer a skill based advantage to good players. Most of the rest of the machines are licensed games running a very greedy ruleset. For example, the racing games don't offer a free race if you place 1st. The food was pretty disappointing too. My burger fell apart in my hands.

My daughter and I had such a good time here today! As soon as we walked in the door we were welcomed warmly by Lamin (Kitchen Manager) and he kindly introduced himself and gave us the run down of how everything worked (It was our first time). After playing games for a while we sat down to eat and let me say the smash burgers are soo good. Kids Mac and cheese is really good too. My daughter slipped out of her seat at one point and hit her head on the table and right away our server Alyssa came over to offe

We always have fun here. There are good deals to be had on groupon. The place is clean and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I haven't eaten in the restaurant but have had beverages at the bar and again the staff was great and the dining area clean. The food seems pricey but smells delicious so I may indulge on a day when I'm there with some friends and the kids are at home. Lol.

Great experience with my son, we have a issue with the ice cream machine and the manager did an amazing job taking care of my child he gave him xtra chips, and lets mention the staff, they were super friendly and we have a special treat in the end to keep my child happy! Thanks !! Great work guys!

Checking out an Arcade in the GREENVILLE upstate SC Area. Really clean and friendly staff. ?? Plenty of parking. ?????A walk ????? to the door from curb side drop off is easy when the weather is poor??. Check out the 50% off Wednesday games. Nice size restaurant ?? and bar ?? area. ?? it is a bit too loud if you are sensitive to ?? LOUD noises, considering how empty the place was during my visit. Wear your earbuds to look ?? cool and soften the blow from the game noises. ?? as some can have ?? amazing effec

Super fun for the little ones bar staff is incredibly kind and attentive drinks were great didn't have to ask for anything they were already on it thanks guys

Great place to hang out with or without kids! Plenty of arcade games for all ages and plenty of good food and drinks for adults. We've been to this location multiple times and always leave with a smile. Highly recommend, specially during times when it's not as busy.

i gave it 4 stars because the games are limited, not as big as other ones I've been to. but overall service was quick, friendly, and good, which was made to my liking. Also I was just made aware of the dnb app and its a life saver thanks to the guy at the redeem station

I love DnB for the overall experience. This one isn't bad, but there are so many things that this location could improve on. First and foremost, they are staffed! That is more than some places nowadays. As far as customer service, there is room for improvement. For a limited menu, the food is good and large portions. They do not substitute nor make modifications to add extras into meal unless stated in the menu. For instance, if you would like steak on your nachos as opposed to hamburger meat, you would hav

Great Food, I was gladly surprise of the quality of the food in all plates order, it is not a bar food. Beside of the fun time playing you can also enjoy excellent quality meals...

Amazing date night here on a Monday...!! Great food & not crowded at all...pretty empty inside so it felt like we were there alone and enjoyed every moment of it. My friend had the LiteLife Burger (vegan) && I had the IPA Cod Fish with fries and we shared the roasted cauliflower. When I tell you the food was hot, fresh and beyond delicious.... I'm not lying. Ohhhhh and let us not forget about the strawberry shortcake....!!!!! Every bite was absolutely delectable. Will defintely return

I enjoyed my 3xperience there. It was pretty crowded but it was fun. Food was awesome. Looking forward to going back soon. FUI YOU GOTTA TRY THE SIMULATION RIDE. ITS 5.00 PER PERSON AND IT IS FUN. I laughed at the people that were on before me and my group. You see them moving a wand and looking around like they're crazy lol. But then when you get in the simulation and put the helmet on and hear everything going on.....unreal. the graphics are awesome.

Had a great time with the grandkids lol think they might like Frankie's ( go karts lol) butt very nice place will be back maybe without the grandkids take them back to Frankie's butt I enjoy Dave & Buster's very clean games worked well needs crane games lol

I took my nephew and we had a blast. We went on Wednesday when they have 1/2 off games.

Would give 0 but 1 is the lowest it'll let me go. Went for a buddies birthday and our whole group was ignored for 30 mins by the whole staff. Very unprofessional, Chucky Cheese is a better option than this place

So my son has been bugging me about coming to Dave & Buster's for a while now!!! So today is his birthday and being so close to Christmas his actual birthday party was going to be a bust ??.. so we decided to go ahead and bring him up here.. the food was great! the waitress was amazing! The manager even got him a toy from the arcade section which was really freaking cool of him!! Thank you manager guy I can't remember your name, I'm sorry!!! So after we ate I took our leftovers and his toy to the car and w

Had a reservation for 6 with my best friend and our kids. Got seated super fast and everything we ordered from the philly cheesesteak dip to pizzas and some of the best wings I've ever had. My wife got the Cobb salad and said it was outstanding. Their lemonade is excellent. During november they do a power play program where you pay 27.99 for a select menu option plus 20 bucks on a game card and we did this for all the kids. 10/10 I'm going back loads more times. Super wide collection of games from vr to mar

I'm so over this place. This is the 2nd Dave and Busters I tried. I don't know what it is but the smell makes me sick. It's like they have perfume in the air units. I wasn't the only one standing outside because of the air quality inside. So, update 6/24/25 Thank you for listening. The children really wanted to come play today. We had no over powering scents today. And just had a great time. FYI the smash sliders appetizers are awesome. I didn't do five stars because the waiter definitely cheated us on th

It was a fun time for the family you really can't go wrong games for kids and adults and after your done sit down and eat!

The staff is very friendly, the food is fresh, hot, and made with quality ingredients. Real mango puree in the strawberry mango drink. Definitely coming back!

I had a great time at David and Busters it was my first time being. The food was great and I enjoyed the gaming experience. I disliked the table selected though they should get this out of the place. But other than that I had a good time but that's what lost them from getting 5 stars.

Lots of fun, good service, food was okay. If the food were better it would have been 5 stars. Loud so be prepared for that. ??

Great place to eat and enjoy drinks while the kids run and play. They have plenty of TV?s so no matter what sports you want to watch they should have it. The staff was very attentive and very good to the kids! Plenty of beer on tap and a full bar.

We had the best server and the food was excellent we really had a great te for daughters 14th birthday

We always have lots of fun. They have a large variety of games and have really good prizes to pick from.

Food was really really good despite it being slow, plus a good selection of games to play. Definitely recommend Halo: Fireteam Raven!

They kind of fell off their game some of the games are busted and the prizes kinda of lame. They used to be the spot but I think Frankie's Fun Park and The Maine Event got the entertainment covered.

It's a great fun place with nice food to eat ! Now it's a lil pricey on the food but it's good Each game is priced too high and u don't get enough playtime for your money , but the kids love it and I take them and I go shopping near by so it's a win win !!!

The kiddos enjoyed the game area, but me and several of those with me were served food that wasn't hot or was downright cold. The dining room wasn't crowded at all. I doubt I'll return.

Enjoyable experience with a bubbly enthusiastic server named Jam. The food and appetizer are good and hits the spot

Was 1st visit & had a blast. Entire day of fun. Food was delicious & plenty of it. Staff friendly & helpful.

Had a blast when I went. Most games were working and extremely fun. Tons of Coin Pushers to choose from too. Staff were really nice and helpfull. The food was a bit high, but it was amazing. The redemption shop had a really large variety and it felt like a decent value for most items. Will have to go back another time! ??

Fun fun fun. My family stops in here often, fun for everyone. My grandson Jack loves the Mario Ghost game and the Jurassic Park game. The bar is pretty good there to, with drinks that have themes relative to the setting. Food is probably a 7 out of 10, but definitely worse at other venues like them. Always fun here

Nice place for a night out with friends. Lots of stuff to play and enjoy. Staff is nice and informative. Games are cool. Had a fun time.

Amazing experience! Morgan the bartender - INCREDIBLE Bob the game attendant - SO nice and super helpful Aaron - the game attendant - So much fun and cool The Kitchen Manager (I hate I can't remember his name) - the nicest person I've ever met on this planet. The manager (also can't remebe name ugh) super attentive and chill. GREAT games, even better staff! I wish I could rate more than 5 stars!

Took the family there for the first time to grab a bite and play some games. Food was almost as good as school cafeteria, especially the pizza for the kids was just terrible. Games were fun for the kids. Wish we just went to have the kids play the arcade?s.

1) they had no one serving tables 2) tables had dirty dishes with food on 3) I asked for 20 minutes if someone could clean the table closest to the gaming area so that we were able to eat , drink & watch my 14 year old nephew- no one ever came to buss table - i finally had enough of waiting while employees took their time, laughing & failed to attend customer need. I was shocked even the manager on duty didn't care & walked off like ?oh well?- I finally asked for a rag to wipe down the table myself - so I

One of the few places that show the Fifa world cup soccer games. Definitely a plus for me. Cocktails aren't bad either. Stuff is friendly , but its as noisy as you would expect for an arcade/ sports bar.

The food is less then mediocre. I had a beer that was local to Greenville SC and I really enjoyed it. The bartender was friendly and I usually take my daughter here but this day I had some business to deal with locally and I stopped in for lunch. Had the Cheesesteak Sliders and they weren't too good. Chicken tenders and fries were not too impressive either. I just needed to kill some time before my appointment.

This place had amazing service we had over 30 people and they were fast and on top of everything. Legend and Alisha were very nice and sweet I recommend them

Love this place good games and a fun time with family and friends! The drinks are pretty tasty as well! My only complaint would be when the games break it takes too long for someone to come help you with it. I waited like 10 minutes and then left the area after I had reported it because it wasn't worth my time to wait for a dollar game or so. My overall experience here has been great though, would go again!

Need a better system for getting a card. Long line that took forever. Was pretty clean and staff was nice. Most games worked.

Fun atmosphere! We had an excellent dinner with friends and wonderful draft beer! I was amazed at the healthy food options and the portion sizes were huge.

We took the Children to Dave and Buster's for some fun. They thoroughly enjoyed the games. They absolutely ?? love this place.

Always a great time at Dave & Buster's !!! The food and drinks are always great and the employees are always very helpful and friendly. A great place to go to relax and have a good time . We went on Veterans Day and we were so glad that Dave & Buster's recognizes Veterans Day with a meal and even a $10 gameplay gift card. Thanks so much to Dave & Buster's we will definitely be back again

We enjoy ourselves every time we go! They provide a great customer experience!

We ordered the triple bacon burger and it's prob the best burger I've ever had, my compliments to the chef. Bathrooms are clean. The games range from 4.5 - 13 ish points per game (most of the good games being 7+ points) so keep that in mind when purchasing your game card and the prizes call for a lot of tickets (we had about 6000 between the both of us). We ordered two mixed drinks from the bar and that cost us $28.00 which is a lil pricey to me but the bartender made a good drink. All in all my husband

Game experience was awesome! When we had an issue with a game taking points without the game working, they quickly fixed it and gave us extra points back without us asking. So nice! Only 4 stars because the bar drinks were super weak. The first one had almost no alcohol in it. Bartender could up his game a bit. Otherwise- excellent experience!

Haven't been here in a while and now I remember why. Games are super expensive and the food is TRASH.

Came here for my friend's 21st birthday, the food was good but the Korean sticky ribs weren't great, and the voodoo pasta was a little bland. I love getting the sno globe slushie, butter noodles, pretzel dogs, and fried cauliflower. Good everytime.

It's ok, it wasn't crowded or have people waiting in line. We were never greeted by a person the entire time, it was a bit expensive but JMO. The games were meh, the atmosphere was about the same. I'll go back just to use what's left on the card you have to purchase but that will be my last most likely.

the bartender I had tonight was just amazing!! come see haley!! I'll never stop coming here! great food, great drinks, games and football!!! whats better than that!! :)

The food was ok but not for the price. We had a chicken avocado sandwich and you could not see or taste the avocado. The wings were good. The arcade is expensive and kind of small compared to the ads. We also thought that the food area would have a view of the gaming room. Just in case you choose to watch your kids. Probably a great place for adults looking for some games after dinner but not the best for families.

It's was amazing atmosphere the games where so cool the food was sooo good and fresh I will be back my wife and I loved it

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
