Dave & Buster's Glendale

Dave & Buster's Glendale

Reviews Summary

Dave & Busters offers a mix of experiences with strong praise for fun arcade games, nostalgic atmosphere, and some excellent staff members, particularly bartenders and servers. However, many reviews highlight significant issues: consistently filthy restrooms, poor food quality (especially wings and drinks), slow or inattentive service, and overpriced games. While families and groups enjoy the entertainment, frustrations arise from reservation mishaps, long wait times, and inconsistent policies. The consensus is a love-hate relationship—great for games and some staff, but let down by cleanliness, service, and value.

Fun day outing with the kids today . While looking to beat the heat and boredom. When we opened the doors it was a bit overwhelming and with only one cashier at the counter the line was pretty slow. We'd never been before so we were a little confused how the process went. There is a sign explaining how many points/coins whatever you can purchase. Prices are pretty crazy to me especially if you have a larger family. For two kids we spent $60 for 300. They were done after a little more than an hour. So keep

When we walked in, I didn't think it was gonna be that good of a eating experience but our supper Britney definitely made it worthwhile we came in for the all you can eat wings which were truly all-you-can-eat ended up, knocking out five orders and they were still willing to give it up Britney A+ make this whole thing much better than I thought it was going to be. I will be back just for her.

Had an amazing time at Dave & Buster's in Glendale! The atmosphere is always buzzing with excitement, making it the perfect spot for a fun night out. The games are up-to-date and well-maintained, offering something for everyone, from classic arcade games to the latest interactive experiences. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our visit was smooth and enjoyable. The food was surprisingly good for a gaming place, with the wings and burgers being real standouts. Plus, the drink selection is top-n

I recommend this place for families and adults who just want to have fun. The environment is great. A lot of arcades to choose from. You have to buy tokens, and they will load it into a card to swipe to play. They also have pool tables you can reserve for $12 an hour. The pool sticks and tables are a little beat up but still functional. The food is good. We ordered wings, frys, cheese sticks, and soda pop. They came out fast with the food, and the service was great.

Slow service. 20 minutes to get our fries place was empty. No condiments offered. Drinks were so watered down fries were over spiced. Gross . All around. Totally disappointed

Tonight we drove to Glendale location and was stopped at the door to pay a $10 cover charge for the Canelo Alvarez and Scull boxing fight. First of all, D&B is meant primarily for kids and to make everyone pay $10 for a fight most people would not watch at a D&B is fraudulent and a scam. The manager was out front forcing people who didnt want to pay $10 per person to enter. We went to the Tempe location and voila no entry charge and yet the boxing match is on. I think corporate D&B needs to be aware and add

The place is excellent, the workers are friendly and very helpful. The service is a bit slow but the food quality and quantity is great. For vegetarians I highly recommend this place as there are multiple options and are clearly labelled. The games are fun and kid friendly. There are many glitches like a game in which you have to push the car to a certain point. It was constantly coming to the point in which we play it with credits. The prizes are amazing and there is also a lot of merchandise. The tickets

Everything is overpriced, quality of food for the cost, not worth it at all. Don't order stacked steak bowl. Fried cauliflower smelled really bad. 100% fried with old leftover old cooking oil. Even the server didn't want to smell them. Gave me a headache and vomiting feeling. Disgusting old food. Don't eat in there unless you're starving to death.

Stopped in for some fun after attending a graduation. Two senior citizens and one 25 year old. We had a blast! It reminded us of 18 years earlier, following our son from one fun experience to another. This was a priceless experience!

Fun place to take the kids or if you are looking to enjoy some games. They have a nice selection of arcade classics as well as some modern-day titles. The giant space invaders game was really fun. They have an adult bar area as well as pool tables. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Overall it's a pretty nice family spot and we would stop in again if we were in the westgate area.

It's an alright place. The games are incredibly overpriced. We came here after getting a gift card. The kids really enjoyed the experience and the games. The prizes are the typical cheaper items. The food was overpriced, so we decided to pass. We bought the biggest package for tickets and finished it in less than 1 hour with 2 kids. We only had minimal interaction with staff, which wasn't a big concern and was positive. We will just stick with Peter Piper it's cheaper and more for the money.

Our 17yo son went w his sister 14yo, this company was happy to charge my son's cc over 200 to play games but yet when they get hungry my son was told you can't order food unless you're 18yo! So you'll take my son's money to play your games but refuse they food and drinks because they're not 18! Absolutely unacceptable, if they had to be 18 you never should have allowed they in! They drove across town to FatCats who were happy to serve them food while they played games.

Had a little work gathering here. The place was bigger than i had thought, and very clean. Not that loud either, which was nice. Just ate appetizers, the boneless wings were delicious, also had a blue drink that was yummy. Played triva that night, first time there won first place, how awesome is that!

Overpriced for the quality of service and food you get. I ordered the steak bowl salad. Fried cauliflower smelled really bad. I could tell they used old smelly cooking oil. Hopefully I don't get sick. Service wasn't what I expected, server took order and disappeared. Drinks were served with no straws, refills took too long. Last time here for sure. I know they don't give a crap about reviews, it's mainly for people eating at this place.

Took my mom for a little childhood fun. We didn't eat but had a ton of fun playing all the carnival type games.

We had a great meal here before the Cardinals game. They found us a table and the waiter was always around for us. Really convenient and good food.

We went for a daughter birthday. DONT get the ?honey hot? wings. ALLLLL honey. The wings taste like honey not but honey. Not good They drizzled honey over the wings.

Heather is the worst manager I've ever dealt with. I've been in the food industry for 20 years. We were waiting for our food so we decided to play some games. 30 minutes later the server says the order was accidently given to someone else. Asked for help from the manager and she was rude, condescending, and not helpful at all. She was so rude to us she acted like it was our fault and we even heard her swear about us to another co-worker. I will never go back to a dave and busters. Heather ruined the hole ex

When I had arrived, the bar was still dirty along with the menu they gave us over the counter. Servers and bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly though Just not as energetic as I would have liked them to be, although they were on task. I had the All American Cheeseburger and it was cooked to my liking. When I had arrived, the bar was still dirty along with the menu they gave us over the counter.

For $100 I expected my kid to be able to play for at least an hour. They ran out of tokens in 35 minutes... Had to rush through a single beer. $160/hour is just too expensive for a casual outing.

Amazing place fun for all the family. Has to be one of the best smash burgers I've had to date. No complaints about any of the food. Arcade games were fun but the staff in the redemption centre could be more attentive, pretty scary to our youngest member who was freaked out by all the piercings and death look.

The Nachos were bigger than we expected. But, they were good. The pretzel were different but, they were soft and delicious.

The main reason I'm giving such a low rating is due to how badly rigged the prize games are. Mainly the two biggest attractors, the wizard of Oz and Star Trek. You are required to collect a set cards in order to win a ticket bonus. The issue is that each machine has one card for each set that is exceedingly rare. Now I get that prize games are technically "gambling" but the difference here is that children are allowed to do it there is no cash prize. Hence why it's so egregious how badly they are rigged. I

Place was fun but not very big. Had multiple of the same game type that drop tokens for tickets. Need a better variety. Food was good and service was great.

My wife and I visited on Valentine?s Day to enjoy a few games and decided to sit at the bar. Before doing so, I required assistance with a tax-exempt transaction, as the two young ladies at the counter were unfamiliar with the process. I presented my paperwork and ID, and the manager, Zel, promptly and courteously removed the taxes without hesitation. Once at the bar, Destiny provided excellent service as our bartender. She was patient, attentive, and never made us feel rushed. Overall, our experience was

The food service is no good. Waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement of us being there. No "hi we'll be right with you" the waitresses were just walking around us, sitting there. They helped us when I had to say something to one of the waitresses. At that point,I lost my appetite. This will be the last time I'll be here as a customer.

Fun stop to play arcade games. Our server, Mariam was the best! We had over people in our party and she was on top of it and took good care of us. The food is ok, nothing to write home about; but a fun place to hang out with loved ones.

Dave & Busters is a great place to have fun and be active. Our family went to celebrate a birthday, and our server Miles was absolutely amazing! He took great care of us, ensuring all of our needs were met. We had a large party, but he kept checking in and taking care of us. The games were fun. We liked the activity ones like the Connect 4 basketball and hungry hippos. They also have a vr headset game with lightsabers, which was fun once you figure it out.

This is by far the worst D&B location I have ever been to. I've been to this location 3 or 4 times now and it's always the same. It was pretty empty for a Sunday. Sat down right away as there were tables available. I then proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for a server to come up to the table. After 45 minutes we gave up on food. Decided to play some games and leave. I would understand if all the employees were busy. But there were employees everywhere just standing around. I saw 3 of them behind the bar

I came here Thursday night on march 27th and came in with a few friends to grab a drink or 2, when we walked up to the bar we immediately noticed a girl look at us roll her eyes and start talking to her co worker next to her. We kinda brush it off and ordered our drinks and get our receipts for our drink to find out that she had added a required 20 percent tip under ?large party? mind you we only came in for a drink. I don't know about you but I don't think I should be required to tip a bartender that clear

They were super busy after the Cardinals and Seahawk game but our service was great. Delicious food. Awesome football atmosphere. Different team being represented by peeps. It was great ???? ??

It was good, it just that most of the games machine was not working properly, and was stealing the points, and one of my cards was not getting any token points on it, .Hopefully the get that fixed, plus they need to be checking the games to make sure that the machine are working properly, .

One of the best hangouts in Glendale Az. Lots of parking easy access and well lit. Huge place and very clean. Great food and very affordable. Lots of seating. Great bar, and the team there is amazing. Extremely kid friendly. Huge arcade and awards program. Pool tables and plenty of TV. Huge hall for events and restaurant seating. Outside seating as well. Highly recommended.

The food has been great, the service is hit or miss. I asked a server if there was a table we could have or if someone could clean a table soy family could sit and let's just say if looks could hurt people I would have been injured by her looks. After waiting 10 minutes by a dirty table we just gave up and went across the street to the red robin instead. Other times it has been fine but never amazing.

Games are fun, prizes are good and the vibe is nice. But the employees are pretty bad. Ordered a cheesecake to go and got a destroyed s'mores chocolate instead. It was for my mothers birthday and I was pretty bummed to see it was not the correct order. UPDATED: My points were refunded. They really do care about customer service. Willing to fix a mistake, takes lots of admiration. Love this location.

Great vibe!!! Quick to be served our drinks. There's a nice variety to choose from. There was a slight error on our food order but was quickly remedied. There were plenty of seating areas to choose from such as outside, inside at table or booth, or simply sitting at the bar. There's a large selection of games for both adults or kids. Love the late night happy hour, for drinks, between 10pm to closing time.

Don't order a drink here, the bartender will just walk away and have you standing there looking stupid. My wife ordered us drinks the bar tender made two but only gave my wife one. Then my drink just sat there behind the bar for 20 minutes. Then when I came to get my drink she, makes a new drink. And then walks away. I still haven't seen her since. Tuesday night

The staff is friendly and welcoming, but the food is beyond overly seasoned. It looked good, but they drowned the chicken wings with too much seasoned and the fries overly salty. Couldn't eat it.

Family and I went to celebrate a graduation. Ordered the fish and chips plate, and it was delicious with ample portions. The only downside was that they were out of strawberries ?? at that moment, so I didn't get to have my favorite strawberry and watermelon margarita (which is the best; try it if you can), but the lime one was still delicious ??

I wanted to give this D&B five stars but there weren't enough games. Some of the games we wanted to try were broken. I would look for a different place for arcade games. It's a great place if you just want to eat and drink. We were there for games. The food was surprisingly good. The wait wasn't bad. The drinks were reasonably priced.

Just walked in. Getting a $20= 100 credits, $40 game card = 220 credits, but the $35 game card + Food deal, only comes with only 150 game credits?? ?? ?? ?? Rip off!!! (U better off just buying what u want, paying for it, and just having your fun) ?? ?? CUZ WHEN U ASK ABOUT "ANY" OF THE ADVERTISED DEALS, THEY GET A HUGE ATTITUDE, LIKE U SHOULDN'T BE THERE. (There's nothing wrong with wanting to get a deal so you can get more for your money) ?? And people shouldn't judge especially when we spend $100-$150 ev

Me and my son love Dave & Buster?s we try to make it a point even though it is a little pricey to go and play at least once every month or at least every two months. I definitely was disappointed they no longer carry the chicken Alfredo which is the reason that we drove down there today.. staff was great and wonderful they just probably should add a little more staff or some thing that indicates went to customer sits down that they're new to the table and that their server in that section is aware because w

We recently went back and they have new items in the menu that are good like shrimp tacos, carne asada tacos, etc. The service was outstanding, the flavor on the food was great. The only downside was i got sick from eating the shrimp tacos. The games we didnt stay and play because it was packed they should create a better flow system so everyone gets to play and also only allow a certain number of people at a time its gets so full here its hard to walk in the crowds.

Lily was amazing she was a great server I will for sure be coming back here

Cool place to go for laid back fun with friends and family. Tons of different arcade gaming options, something for everyone. They even have one of those old school photo booths to hop in and take a few photos of yourself and a friend. The whole vibe was just very nostalgic for me. On the particular evening that I visited, the game from California had been moved to Arizona at the stadium by Westgate due to the horrific fire over there. Due to that, there was a massive influx of game goers that all started sh

Dave and his busters were pretty fun, I had a weird new drink and some desert. I had a blast celebrating my friends 22nd Bay. The food was hot and fresh out the kitchen, the games were bright and entertaining, and the music was bumping sweet jams the entire time! Thank you to the staff for being more than accommodating and SUPER AWESOME as well as quick to cater. Thank you Dave & Busters!!

Aug 2024 update - The service is horrible now. It takes a while for the server to come to our table and greet us (every time). When I ask for our server, that person looks annoyed that I'm asking. They take forever to come check on you. Surprisingly the food is out pretty quickly, but something is missing. Possibly because the servers always seem distracted. The overall experience has definitely declined. I go here primarily for the Chimichurri bowl and cold beer. It's delicious. Customer service is alway

Food and cocktails are very good. Super friendly service. Games messed up more times than less, unfortunately.

The games were fun but the food wasn't worth the money. I'd return for the game play but I wouldn't eat there again. We had the ribs and Beastmode Bacon burger. Neither of us liked the food. The service was good so that wasn't an issue.

One hour for appetizer and food to arrive. No warning on ?backlogged? kitchen until 45 mins in. Wouldn't even bring us chips for our 4 little kids from the chips and queso dip we ordered even when I asked to bring just chips early Then when we found out how much longer it was going to be I went to buy cards to let the kids play. Waitress chased after me and stopped me told me to buy the cards from her?ok that's fine I guess. End of meal the checkout device added 18% tip to the meal AND card purchase

Front staff was so helpful and kind getting us to our private event. Servers were great and very attentive. Our drinks were refilled continuously. I think they may have a new chef because the food was not very good at previous events. Chicken was perfect and so was the brisket. The cornbread was so moist and perfectly sweet, it was everyone?s favorite ! So many games and entertainment. It was a fun night and won some neat prizes. It is unfortunate that parents don't educate and discipline their teens. The

UPDATE 5/09/2023 Still nasty as heck. Over 50% of stalls in women?s restroom we're not usable. However there was soap this time. I can't say enough good things about the bartenders and servers! They're amazing BUT the reason I'm leaving a one star is because the restrooms are ALWAYS HORRIFIC!!!! 8/10 times they're out of soap and your lucky if you can find a clean stall that hasn't been dedicated all over! Keep in mind that this is an arcade!! Every joy stick in the house has to be dirtier than Jeffrey Dah

D&B was very fun for the kids. So many games and prizes. Music playing. Please careful with those with Epilepsy. Some games flash a lot so caution. Food was good they even have Icees lol. There is a bar. We got the big package 920 tokens for $110 lasted us a good 2 hours. The VR simulator in the back like $6 per person.

Brought my son for his birthday and it was pretty fun. After playing games we ate dinner. My chicken sandwich was really good better than I expected. Service was pretty quick considering it was really busy.

My fiance & I went here last week. When we arrived we usually eat first then get to the games. Before we were seated we were notified by one of the servers that it was just going to be herself & another women. We understood, we were seated. Our server seemed like she was going to be awesome. As the night went on and we had our order in, a couple arrived after us & ordered as well & received their food before us. It wasn't busy, by this time our waitress had received a huge table of adults who were ordering

Had a blast with my husband and our adult kids. A fun family night out with lots of game options and delicious food. Enjoyed playing bingo.

We love this place! The coin pushers are the funnest because we collect sets of cards which are worth 2500-5000 points/tickets and the tokens have a significant value of points/tickets also. The staff is helpful and friendly as well. There are many deals that you can take advantage of. The food is great, especially during happy hour from 4-6p. Fresh and hot, good sized portions and very flavorful. Sodas have free refills and that's alot of savings when you stay/play for any length of time. Our favorite plac

We regularly frequent Dave and Busters when we visit AZ, for the games playing pool and just to play around. This is not the first time that the food we got was terrible. We always leave hungry and annoyed because all they show on the TVs is boxing and wrestling, the food is gross and the cocktails were watered down. Hopefully this is a ?servers practice ground? for most servers here because they are inattentive, abrupt and suck at waiting tables.

Overall pretty decent place, at least half the games were out of order though. Also waited about 20 min before anyone showed up to take our food orders.

Great atmosphere fun for all ages and delicious food. The manager Bill was very attentive and are waiter Mark was too. High five for there amazing customer service.

I would give it 5 stars but given it's fourth of July service was slow due to a number of workers that didn't show up our server was on it tho she was great and her personality was perfect she made my first experience great. I would definitely come back if they had more servers like her.

Wasn't expecting anything and still ended up pretty disappointed by this experience. They left the rice in the plastic bag in the middle of the plate. The Kale salad was exclusively kale, nothing else. Drinks were horrible too. More sugar than anything else

We had a great experience Brittney D. Was a great server, and manager Dabnee-an Costello (manager) helped me make sure she received her tips even after she she got off before we could give it to her.

Beautiful location, clean establishment, I was disappointed in the service. No one wanted to answer my questions, and getting a table or a drink was difficult. In fact getting anyone's attention at the bar was difficult. Either way the kids had fun, would have spent more if anyone had paid attention.

A great place to visit for fun and food. I recommend visiting on Wednesday's for trivia and half priced games. Kristine is an awesome trivia game host and Logan is a great server. Dean is an awesome game tech. The food is good with a variety of menu options.

Dom was my server she was excellent she kept checking on me she was awesome the hot and honey sauce on the wings were really good Hope you keep that sauce

My server, Joany was the best! We were here a couple weeks ago for the New Years eve party that we purchased tickets for to ring in the new year with our kids. We loved the early party that was just for the kids and our kids had a blast. Joany told us about the half off Wednesdays and trivia so we just had to come back and see her again. This place and Joany did not dissapoint! She had us laughing and our kids absolutely loved her too! We will DEFINITELY be back to see her! The food was outstanding and the

Long story, but the kitchen if I send something back because I don't eat bacon it should look the same, just without bacon... Next time I'll one to take pics to put people on blast... It was delicious though...

Not a bad place, selection was alright but quite a few games went down, for a while or for the night. The folks working there were good though

Horrible experience. A reservation for a work team outing event was made, and pre purchase of their EDP deal was pre purchased as well. When we arrived our reservation had been given away to a different party, we were told they had closed down one side of the dinning area. They expected us to leave but we were in a group, so we asked if they can please seat us. They sat us at part of somebodies else?s reservation. Our group was split up as well. Even then we took the tables and were ready to order our pre p

Restrooms clean, facilities mix mostly kind and respectful. One come off rude but maybe just was having a bad day so I won't lean either direction. Awesome prizes choices . I have been to other locations nothing was worth getting so I just saved up until this location.

Prices are high for adult drinks but food prices are good and play cards are not to bad. Bathrooms are spotless =) staff is friendly..

OPEN, OPEN, OPEN!!! A little bit of normality. Love it! Good food, good people, good service and always a great place to unwind...even on a Monday. Update: 05.21.22 Same great place, menu items have changed, still good food and a fun place to unwind even for a little bit. Friendly Staff are always a pleasure to try and make your visit a positive one. ????

Great staff, table was a little sticky but staff made it up by accommodating us with great service- camera guy threw us off guard with pics and 80 dollar bill!!

We went because they advertised a wrestling pay per view, but we couldn't see the TV where we were seated and asked our waitress to change the channel on the TV that was near us and she said she was just too busy. There were 11 of us and we spent close to $300. It was very disappointing that she couldn't find time.

Dabnee and Arleth made our end of school celebration perfect! If you are looking for healthier options, the cauliflower crust flatbread is soooo good!

I had 12 power cards that I loaded on the app. I transferred the tickets and chips from all the cards to just 2 cards to make it easier to manage. I brought my kid and wife to Westgate Dave and Busters on New years day to play some half priced games. One card had around 440 chips when we started, the other card had around 380 chips. One card also had over 10,000 tickets on it. I noticed after only playing like 15 games that my card had less than 100 chips on it and should still have 300+ so we stopped pl

Their hawaiian burger is spectacular. Sweet and spicy ?? the games have a much bigger selection than the carousel nearby or Main Event. Very much worth the price

We came for the all you can eat wings and ten dollar game card on thursdays. We got britney today is january sixteenth And with all the reviews and places that we've actually sat Down and ate Today Service has shot her up to number one in our books. She was very knowledgeable if not went to ask and didn't get lost she was friendly And kept the wings coming. It was truly an all you can eat. They came hot ready to go also with a smile. No waiting 2.5 years for our next round. She was great! The wings were alr

Heather the Manger is amazing ?? she helped us alot at our visit thier we will definitely be going back ?? And our waitress Madelyn was wonderful she was on top of everything when I come back I hope she is here if so I will definitely ask for her so hopefully she can help us out again ??

The food was delicious. The place was crowded.. The prices were high. The games are fun. A lot of TV's to watch whatever event. 3 billiards tables. Dont waste your time on the zero tension claw machines tho. Better than other locations around the valley. Crowded parking on weekends

Games were fun bartender was amazing. Made me something new. I had never tried quite busy.

Voodoo pasta is unreal and amazing that kind of awesome is served here. Must try. Sorry, once I bit in...it was too late for pics. Yum. So I went back for another round of this pasta and...Awesome again.

Food: Excellent, fast and very large portions. Fair price. Service: Top notch, always professional with constant presence. Atmosphere: Pleasant, not rowdy. Plenty of family games and sports being televised everywhere. Parking is good despite the events in this area. You may need to register your vehicle in their parking lot. Waited at the bar for 18 minutes and the female on staff at 9:48pm on Tuesday didn't even say I'll be right with you or sorry for the wait. Taking my business elsewhere. What a terrible location

I don't typically eat here, just come for the games. As far as arcade games go it's a pretty good spot to take the kids, it's also a nice date spot. Plenty of options to keep you entertained. It's always a fun time.

The only thing good was the dessert. The food was too greasy, the drinks weren't all that for the price. If you want to eat, I suggest playing it safe with a simple burger and sprite other than that good luck.

Always my favorite place!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
