Went for my granddaughter?s birthday, she was turning 5. She and her 13 year old brother loved the games. The food was good as well. It was quite busy on a Sunday night, but our server was phenomenal! Very attentive and friendly. It is a loud atmosphere with the TV?s, games, and people talking, and kids running around. She had a great birthday, so that's what counts!
We came here for a birthday party Saturday and the food, service and drinks were all excellent! I got the "dangerous waters" drink and it was great!! It's a bit noisy and easy to get overwhelmed by the cacophony of the atmosphere. The kids enjoyed themselves, and the girl working the human Crane was exceptional! Little did she know she had 3 neurodivergent children come through the line with me and she explained everything very well to them and was gentle and asked them if they could move their hair, or she
Went here last night as I haven't been near a Dave and Busters in about six years. I didn't even remember that they served food. However, I was very happy with the Brekky burger. It tasted amazing and the guy serving us at the bar Zach was amazingly friendly. I came in too late to play any games but I can say I still had a great time.
My Son , his girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. Lots of fun games. I would highly recommend
It's your typical style chain restaurant bar food, but the service was great. We got seated quickly, our server was super friendly, and very quick. We mainly came to play some games, win some prizes, and have cool afternoon indoors. All those boxes were checked off for us and we had a great time. I would have gone a full 5 stars but the rest rooms were a bit lacking in attention. I know things get busy but the basics (emptying trash / restocking consumables / quick wipe down) would more then suffice.
Food is always excellent here, games are fun, prizes are great! Employees were all friendly and smiling. Bathrooms are clean as was the rest of the building. Our daughter is disabled and this roller coaster is her HAPPY PLACE ??
food was overcooked and it was way too loud, the games were mid! not a good game selection, don't waste ur time it smells like crap.
Experience sheer awesomeness in a box! For the best experience and game availability, make sure to visit during the day. Nights can get a bit chaotic with a rowdy younger crowd, so day visits are definitely the way to go. The food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is incredibly uplifting. This place is absolutely worth your time! And don't forget, first responders and military personnel enjoy a generous 15% discount.
All I can say is WOW! I came in with my family of five, unsure of what would give us the best value for our money, and Paula at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She didn't just explain everything clearly she made conversation, made us laugh, and really made us feel at ease on how to spend our money. Too often, customer service feels rushed or impersonal, but Paula made it genuine and enjoyable. She was sweet, knowledgeable, and clearly great at what she does. And the new Human Crane was awesome! All t
My friend invited me to a birthday party for her two children here. The atmosphere was great, the servers and staff were very attentive, the food tasted good, and the kids had a blast in the game/arcade section. Overall, a great experience, I would return!
I've been to many Dave & Buster's. This is my favorite by far. The customer service is outstanding. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so much fun for adults and children alike. It's always clean. The games always work. It's just awesome.
We were traveling through, long roadtrip day and wanted lunch and fun for the kids and this place did Not disappoint. The staff were SUPER friendly, the food was fast and Amazing, (I got the protein bowl, YUM) and there were so many games, my kids and husband and I had a lot of funny playing them all! And the prizes were really nice!! Would recommend to all my family and friends! Plus we went at lunch, and had the place almost to ourselves which we liked ??
I have never been to Dave & Busters before, the front desk staff was so kind and helped me find the bathrooms, the bartender was prepared with a menu and helped explain it to me, the service was so good. I felt very welcomed, even though the friends I was supposed to meet were an hour late! The staff still made me feel welcome on my first time and helped me a lot. Shout out to the lady with the braids up front and the lady with straight hair who was bartending!!
What can I say about this place other than how fun it is for the children even for adults it can be so fun, such a variety in games and things to do, we came here Saturday afternoon with the kids and some friends, it was not that busy the staff is very friendly and helpful, the checking in process is easy and fast you get your card your points and you're ready to play, one machine for stock a little bit and one of the staff members came up and give us some tokens back it was very nice. All kinds of games fo
Jose was fantastic at explaining how the menu works. Food was elevated for a place like this. Will be back again. Very soon!
I loved the food. Best fried picles i ever had. And i loved the games.
I have been to Dave & Busters in Jacksonville many times. Very nice. The one in Gainesville is awful. Took 15 minutes for someone to come for our order AFTER I told the hostess no one has been by. The guy came to the table, put his hand all in his beard and asked, So you're ready to order?" To top it all off, the floor and tables were disgusting. Will never visit there again. We left and went to Miller's Alehouse. Much better.
Justine made made us fell very welcome and at home. She was very professional and an outstanding manager. If you don't give her a raise or a promotion you are missing out on an amazing opportunity. 10/10 will recommend everyone that comes through to stop and see her!
We brought our kids for some spring break fun and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant, game area and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the manager Kristy went above and beyond to make sure our youngest left with a smile on his face. We can't wait to return to the Gainesville location!
We stopped here as a break while traveling. The staff were very warm and friendly. We will make this a regular stop during our trips to south Florida.
What was good: Service, Mozzarella sticks, Pot stickers, games, atmosphere. What was not good: the creamy chicken pasta, the grilled chicken is not what is shown on menu, the cauliflower bites, the pizza, a/c needs to be cranked down more. Otherwise had a nice day!
I go here every year for my Birthday, and when I went here today, normally I have a great experience and the staff are usually nice to me. When we went today it was really expensive, it took maybe 10 minutes for all the credits to wear out since all the games cost about 8-10 per game. The human claw we didn't even try because it's like $20 per person, for an inflatable toy. The Dippin Dots machine wasn't working. I am surprised they don't give any birthday deals or anything. The two ladies at the front were
Never been to this location before. It's a lot smaller than the ones I've visited before (the game room). I loved the dining area! We had a oftice Christmas Party there and the wait staff was great! The food...no complaints from any of my co-workers. In fact everyone finished their plates except for 2 of us. I, myself had the full-slab of ribs. It was plenty! I knew I would only be able to eat 2 bones and a few fries. But the rest went home for the next couple days. The Dave&Busters in Orlando, the ga
I got food poisoning from Undercooked chicken 5/23. I spent the entire night and next day in the restroom. My wife called the next day asking for our meal to be refunded (spent another $60 on games but only wanted a refund for the food that left me super sick. She spoke to a nice manager who said no problem they would refund the $ and appreciate our business. Well we got charged anyway and when we call again the manager we talked to this time was super rude and condescending; acting like we were full of it
My wife and I just love this place. The food is excellent. The drinks are excellent. First place I found in Gainesville where I can get Myers Rum. I couldn't play to much today because of my broken bones. I think we now have over 10 000 tickets. I'm looking for a huge stuffed animal for Hanni. I have been trying to win my wife the biggest bear in the storm.
Glad we didn't listen to the reviews. We had absolutely, great service! Sat at the bar, had our drinks in 30 seconds. Wings came 10 minutes later followed by our meals 15 minutes later. Food was hot & delicious! Grabbed some game play and finished it off with smiles. Thank you for a good date night with the Wifee!
Had a ball here at Dave & Buster?s today! Our Big Brother|Big Sister group event was a huge success. My little, her brother and I played games for 2 hours - I think they could have kept plating forever, but they wore me out ??Dave & Busters served a buffet lunch which included, cheese and hamburger sliders, pizza, chicken nuggets, Mac ?n Cheese and very good French fries. The kids thought the food was awesome ?? The atmosphere here is very fun, it's clean and even offers a bar for grownups to sit while the
What can I say. I have been here 4 times with my daughter and grandkids. We have always had great food, staff is wonderful..grandkids ages 10-16 always have fun here. We will definitely be coming back again. We are back again. What can I say...great food, fun time and great staff. Will be returning again. My favorite place to go.
Fun day, but spent $70 with tip on a burger and chicken wings and the lettuce on the burger was no good, so that kinda ruined that. Then spent another $60 with tip on 3 brownie icecream things. It took forever to get these to the table and they were stale. They tasted like the inside of the freezer type of aftertaste. Spent $80 on games, and that was a blast.
Arrived around 4:30pm. Happy Hour was available. $5 on almost all drinks on menu. Staff/bartender were pleasant and food was delicious. Fun atmosphere/music selection was great. This Dave & Buster's is smaller than the one I have been to in Panama City but it still has nice selections of arcade games.
This was my first time in a Dave and Busters and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The spicey smashed burger was delicious with excellent grill char and loaded with jalape?os, pickle slices, etc. This was the best restaurant hamburger I have had in a LONG time. The service was a little slow, but the place was very busy and we were a large party, so I'm not going to whine about that.
This is the second Dave And Busters I've been to and it was pretty clean. We first ordered a bunch of food and drinks. The food was all decent, the drinks were meh? kind of not great and had a ton of ice which they refused to lessen. The games are pretty cool and I'm working order. The cons are, it's extremely loud and very expensive. But for a night out with the family, it's a great spot to visit. We'll be returning on an occasion.
Hits the middle. Good place for family fun every once in a while... The food/cuisine is average, the drinks are average, the entertainment is pretty good but I think it may be boring after novelty wore off. The place is multipurpose and does everything just average. I sure hope Splitz doesn't close just because of this place. Went as a family on opening day. The entrance was a weird layout with a lot of greeters and I couldn't tell the purpose of all the people or where to direct my attention. We were sea
We planned a birthday party for 20 here. The manager and staff went above and beyond for us and we had a wonderful time. The food was amazing and our waitress super attentive and sweet. Thank yall so much!
Waitress is very nice, has a great personality and Ora. Games look update. They have someone walking around checking on games and ppl.
Been here several times. It's fun for adults and it's great to get my teenagers off their gadgets and out of the house! We came here to celebrate our middle child's 17th birthday. Even got our 23 yr old to join us! Had a blast. Service was great! I'll be honest the food is a little pricey but is good! Will definitely be back!
Food not good drinks watered down I will carry my flask if ever I go again. No flavor on the boneless chicken went home and added my own see pic below. I'm not a drinker so for me to have 2 of these drinks and not get a lil tipsy ??
Food was fast fresh and greatly priced Service was friendly Atmosphere was very clean and well maintained. Nothing was out of order or shut down. We had a great time as a group of 6
Fun place for the whole family. Very loud like any arcade but the food was ok. Look for specials like all you can play game times and double token Wednesdays to maximize your game time.
One of the smallest Dave & Buster's I've ever been to but other than that did not disappoint. We did not get any food just played games on Wednesday which is half price games. Personally spent a little less than $80 and walked away with a large Pikachu plush a pop Funko and a Star wars mug. Coin pushers are definitely the way to go if you're trying to win big and easy.
fhajzohduocc. it's A nice place to go , the atmosphere is excellent and the staff and everybody that when there are will mannered people, I'm glad I took the time to take my wife there for our Anniversary of,29# of Marriage and the food is delicious !!! I give them more than ten stars,??????????????????????????????????and UNITY, NOFF RESPECT ??
I'm not understanding why is there a $32.00 tip automatically added to my total when the service was TERRIBLE! Actually terrible is a understatement first off the waitress came to the table once only because she was called by my daughter we received no refills no napkins not once did she come to the table and ask if we needed anything I watched the other waitresses go back and forth to the tables they were working but we didn't see our waitress at all outside of my daughter waving her to the table to get na
The ONLY reason they got 2 instead of 1 was our poor waitress. She was kind and tried so hard but she was not set up well. It was very busy, I understand it can be. The female manager has no interest in talking to customers with issues but when the table is having a great time she's there. She was arguementative and spoke under her breath when I approached her about my first problem of many that night(which was to change my group size lower on the list because some of the party had left after waiting over a
This was my first time going to Dave & Busters and it did not disappoint. Everyone was super nice. The food was so good.
My family of four visited for the first time on Friday night. We have been to the one in Orlando, but this was our first visit to the GNV location. The arcade was super fun and we all had a great time. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so I can't offer any feedback on that. I am giving them one ? simply because we were highly disappointed in the store selection, where both of our kids had a very hard time finding anything to purchase with their tickets. Son had 620 tickets and daughter had 380. Everything, e
Love Dave and busters! The food was good! The service was great and we all had fun!
My kids had a fantastic time over there, they enjoy it, I'm happy to write it?
Atmosphere was excellent for the kids and for the adults! Unfortunately their service was absolutely horrible and this wasn't the first time this occurred? I wish their service and food quality matched their pricing?
It's was OK. The one in Panama City Beach is so much better. The server never asked if I wanted a refill or offered if I would like anything else. Only came around when he thought we were getting ready for the check. Also stood at the front for about 20 minutes before anyone came to seat use. I would give customer service a - 100.
Mikayla G was a very friendly waitresses. The pretzels was huge but very salty (too much in my opinion). The drinks were good (some were stronger than others). The parmesan fries were also huge and could be shared with 3-5 people. They have promo codes where you can buy a certain meal and get tokens for the arcades. Very clean please and they clean the machines every 10-15 minutes.
We had an amazing time and our server was exceptional and stayed on top of everything!
Great bar selections. Lots of TV's to watch your favorite sports. Oh yeah, lots of games for the kids. Update 8-30-23: Check your bill! Automatically adding a tip to the total bill. Watch out!
Food and fun! All in one place!
Did not have more than a snack to eat. The main object was to watch my great grand son play and enjoy the games. With four generations of family in the house, it was something special .
Honestly, most of this place is pretty standard Dave and Busters. However, how this place does stand out is the service. By far, the worst service team is in town by a mile. I'm not sure if cooperate give this place guidelines to follow, but they are either willfully disregarding their GM or the GM is not enforcing them.I have walked out of this place after seating due to no one greeting us within 20 minutes after sitting down and there being only 2 other tables sat in the place. The many other nights I've
Fairly new and some games not working. Management was friendly and helped out. Arrived with an employee opening the door to then be met with a cashier on her phone ignoring us waiting to be helped. Hopefully things will continue to get better over time.
I always have a great time here! Tons of games, tons of food and drinks, tons of prizes! 10/10!
The chips are very costly. Most games cost around 8 chips which means you only get to play about 20 secs for a game for $1. Some of the games were fun and some were complete rip offs like the claw machine. They have a nice restaurant and I had a fun time. However the tickets we earned could not buy anything more than a $5 toy after spending $20
Everything about Dave and Busters was excellent! It is great for adult fun but also family friendly as well. Our food and drinks were fantastic as well as the staff ??
Man what can I say. The food really surprised me. It was absolutely awesome. Great place to watch football! I don't give a 5 star that often. But this place for this day deserved it
Great atmosphere, kind of loud but that's to be expected. Food was on point, I had the half baby backs with fries, and coleslaw and it was good! Our waitress was amazing she was very attentive. They have all the big screens, we enjoyed watching all the football games!!! The D&B tower was ok, didn't have that much liquor in it. But between 3 of us we did get 2 drinks out of it. I say a little less ice, and a little more liquor!!!!
Had a great time here! It was packed but our server (didn't get her name) nailed it. Food was great.
The Food is Fantastic. Gotta get the wings! The Triple Bacon ?? burger is perfect. And for sure enjoy the games. The servers are friendly and pleasant. You're going to have a great time. And the staff are constantly cleaning with plenty of sanitizer and gloves.
Fun times.. not very many choices on "non computerized" games.. I like hands on skill games.. Plus they didn't even have Skee-ball.. So that sucked. But spent enough to get this cute stuffed animal lol ??
My babies had a ball. Wednesday is half off games. So $15 in play coins lasted for almost 2 hours with my 15 year old and longer for my 6 year old. Food was better than expected. Drink was doing it it was supposed to do.
Fun place to play arcade games. The bartender was chilled and had good vibes. My brother ordered nachos and his plate was small, I ordered nachos and I actually got more than him, 15min later a lady next to us ordered nachos and she had a mountain of nachos. I'm not complaining about the portion sizes but I was upset about the portion size we got compared to hers. Also, the rest of the food was good and the kids loved the mini pizza they had.
Took my daughter there for her birthday today. Started off with an excellent meal and the best service from Katie who really made the experience amazing. We played a bunch of games and got a lot from the shop and we will definitely be back.
I am a 40 year old woman with 90% gray hair and they wouldn't use my digital ID. I will never be back. I wish I could give them 0 stars
I think they may have been short staffed, we waited way too long for a table... pricing for gaming is over complicated.
My waitress Jessica and server Devon made this experience very special for me and my family. Jessica made sure our orders was correct and would fix any problem really quick. It was no problems just a small mix up. Devon served all orders with a smile and answered all my questions he is a lot of fun. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you
Only reason I can't give a 5star because it's expensive. Kids loved it but it's once a year experience lol
Hosted my sons graduation celebration after his formal ceremony. ??????? The staff was very nice & attentive. Our buffet was already arranged & ready when we walked in. Literally washed our hands & got started. The food was VERY flavorful. The sliders, shrimp dip, & tomatoe bruschetta ????. The manager, Tito, kept checking in with me & made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely host again.
Always go on Wednesdays. The games are half price!!! That's the best way to win prizes. They have something new every time I go which is refreshing ??
Had my daughter's birthday party here. Cost way more than last time. We only got 3 chicken nuggets each a small container of mac and cheese and fries. Was not worth the price. We did have fun playing games and winning prizes the human claw machine was cool. But I recommend if you are going here just go and don't bother booking a party it will cost much less and you can actually get enough food to eat.
The staff where SUPER amazing and on top of everything! They let my mom and I sit down because she started feeling dizzy. They where super sweet and understanding! Really great service and food! Definitely recommend! ??????
Fun place to go for arcade games, I wouldnt recommend eating there as they have a long wait, but the food was worth it. Overall I enjoy the times I go there to play games with family & friends. Its how I won my HUGE otter plushie for only 1000 points! ?? Love you Dave and Busters!!
Dave and Buster Is the best place to go the food or really good and they get the best bartender ever Katie she makes everything amazing The games are really fun Definite, coming back
Very fun night. There was 10 of us and everyone had a great time.
Food was good, had some issues with purchasing credits for the games
We are retired but still like to go to Dave and Busters for the food and games. The food was fantastic and the games were fun.
The food was so-so. Advertised to be delicious but had absolutely no flavor. The half price games were cool but then we had to wait around for 20 minutes for a pre-made sponge cake offered as a prize. The staff wasnt rude but they werent nice either. Not really a place we'd come back to, sadly.
Drinks wasn't perfect and g?t a coupon for a 100 token if I spent 22 dollars spent over 150 and they say I had to spend 22 dollars for the package to get the 100 tokens I know smh make it make sense I told them so t even worry about it but I spent 110 right when I got there smh and it's smaller than Jacksonville building smh
My son and I went to D&B to have some father/son time together. We were wow'd by all the huge games and names he knew growing up (Mario, Luigi, Pac-Man, etc). Plus games like pop-a-shot and bowling that I grew up with, we both had a great time! Only thing I would say is that they need to add pinball machines to their inventory. Sad that they don't have any at all.
Grand opening has happened and Dave and Busters has come to Gainesville FlORIDA! It's clean and safe and a great addition to Celebration Pointe!
My baby had a lots of fun part of her birthday ?? ??
Went for the games. Good selection. Prices are high for games on regular days. Go on a Wednesday!
Always a fun atmosphere! Kids and adults loves this place. Wednesday they have "half off" on games. Food and drinks prices are reasonable (I attached pictures of the menu). Staff is very pleasant!
it's a vibe! great food and customer service.. Ask for Austin for a server! quick to take orders and get you taken care quickly!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
