Dave & Buster's Florence

My son and I visited while in town for a men's conference at the Ark Encounter. We had fun playing games before eating. We got to try out their new game, The Arena, for free that they were promoting. This game entails dodging objects on a screen floor. It was really fun. The guy running it was very nice and informative about the game. Now for the meal, this was one of the best meals we've had in a while. My son got the flatbread pizza and mozzarella sticks. He love them both. I got a smash burger on a bed o

This place continues to decrease in value and enjoyment. It is like visiting a place as an adult you loved as a child, but now it is just not the same. Games are very pricey and the area is congested with machines. I did see they were remodeling and I will update my review after the changes but if you are looking for an indoor activity with the kids or a date that will cost about $50 per person, then this will do. Needs to find more value to be sustainable.

November 2024, they've stepped out up which is great, great service at the bar, food was on point also, good job management... September 2023 visit so I'll change this review from a 1 star as we only had food and drinks before... This time took the family and we did good and drinks first and then hours of video games and trying to accumulate tickets... Beware of the Eat and Play offers. All information was not disclosed prior to purchase. First game played found out not all the games are included in the unlimited 90 minute play package. Ended up buying more cards to allow play at "purple" games. Might have been less expensive to skip the deals.

We were there for the grand reopening and this was our 8th d and b grand reopening and by far youall blew away all of the other d and b we have attended. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you soooo much from Dave T. We will be back when we're in Cincinnati area. Go Florence d and b.

We typically go for the games, never really super impressed with their food personally but there are many options for different people. We love going on wednesdays for half price games. Great place for entertainment, and to enjoy with your little ones; my son loves coming to this place!

Went for a nephew's birthday. They had seating set aside for the group. My gal ordered a Sprite and I had one Stella beer. For food, my gal ordered the pretzel stick appetizer, and I had a spicy burger with fries. The food wasn't anything special or outstanding in any way. It was an ok burger, fries that in no way stood out or tasted anything beyond mediocre. Wednesday is half price games and there is a $5 apps and drink menu after 9pm. You can order the eat and play combo at the restaurant and it includes a play card for the arcade.

We were visiting from out of town and could not have been happier. The games were all working and very clean. The game area manager I believe his name was Bob was great. He was so nice to my kids when they had questions about all of the games. Thank you, Bob for going above and beyond for my family!

We've gone to this place for years to celebrate birthdays. Usually 8-12 of us, dinner and games of course. We've always taken a birthday cake and even shared it with the staff. This evening we added ice cream to our cake and were promptly scolded by the very rude manager, informing us that is not permitted. We were spending hundreds of dollars there. Great food and fun games. We decided to make the trip to have a little afternoon fun. Directions were spot on. Not too busy. The only challenge was paying. You could do it on your phone, but we struggled. Nachos were the best thing we ate. My daughter won so many games she won a sweatshirt.

Nice place to come for games & food. Like an adult Chuck E. Cheese. Plenty of parking, area to charge your phone if your battery is dying but it'll cost you. Going to the busy bartender to get help with cards or customer service is not a great idea. She wanted nothing to do with me, and had poor skills in this area. I get it. Bartending is her thing and she wants nothing to do with a mom and her kids. Yet, this place markets to families. Great fun and a much needed addition to the Florence area. I went here last night with my girlfriend and enjoyed a few hours of games and drinks. We purchased a card with 170 credits and ended up refilling it with another 170. Be advised, there is a $3 activation charge for a new card. The selection of games were great, from air hockey to basketball to The Walking Dead shooting game. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is due to price. It is very expensive and can add up quickly.

Great place to have fun w friends and family, enjoyed a great deal of the games for play here. Giant Space Invaders and riding a Unicorn in one of the motorcycle games was cool. Axe game needs a lil help returning the axes and Hungry Hippo doesn't shoot enough marbles to grab.

I really enjoyed my time there? but the drinks truly felt like they were virgin drinks. I'm not a tall person so I should?ve felt something. I had a Bloody Mary and felt like I just had a V8 juice so I ordered their version of a Long Island Ice Tea. It was delicious but felt absolutely nothing. I booked a party for my team. I booked for 13, they gave us seating for 12. I asked for another table or chair. They brought a folding table and said that was the best they could do because they had a large group the next day and didn't want to mess up the set up. We were customers too. We went to D & B's for my nieces birthday. The guy that checked us in was so awesome. He was patient with me about adding cards to the app. The photo booth didn't work, so they sent over a game tech. We have always went to the D&B in Springdale Ohio, but thought we'd see if the one in Florence was worth switching to since we live closer to it now. It was a lot less crowded which we liked. Update: the inside and some games have been renovated or rebooted....looking forward to checking it out. Video games are quite expensive per play, disguised by a 'points to play' system whereby the $1.50-$3+ swipe per game is costly. Didn't help 2 games didn't work, and took 'points' without play.

The layout is setup to either eat in the restaurant or play in the arcade. If you have a family and the kids want to play while you have a bite the spaces are completely separated and you can't see from side to side. I've been to ones long ago that the tables where at the back of the arcade so you could see everything. Didn't care for this one.

It is a nice facility. It needs an out door makeover because you can literally see holes on the outside front door overhang, how unsightly. We had a GREAT time! It was my first time actually. Great atmosphere, workers, food, music, games, and whatever else I am forgetting. Spacious so people aren't running into or all over each other. This is a teenage paradise. Younger kids not so much. My kid had trouble playing and on top of that teens/adults are stingy with games. My kid also earned a 1000 tickets, upon trying to purchase something from the 1000 ticket shelf it rang up as 2500. My kid was pretty upset considering they stuck to the section of the ticket prices we had. A really nice person gave us their card so we could purchase the stuffed animal. Food was cold and we didn't get one refill from our server the entire 2 hours we were there waiting on our food. Very poor experience for the proce we paid for the food and the games. Disappointed to say the least.

Our server Taylor was so absolutely kind to us, she brought us things that she absolutely did not need to under the impression that she was messing up even though she was doing absolutely amazing. Loading cards for play got annoying when the technology wouldnt take at first, but overall my kiddo had fun. Wish ALL games earned u at least a couple "tickets" cuz the younger kids only want to play video games which earn nothing. Cost got super expensive, but an over all fun time.

My family and I have been here twice. We loved the food and the service. I had the fried dynamite shrimp. The drinks were good as well, the TNT Teas were so good we ordered four. All the games were in service and were clean. No complaints.

D&B is not well known for their cuisine, and this location did not break from this trend. The service was excellent and timely. It's D&B, so you're likely coming for an atmosphere, and this location was great for both the variety of games and functional options. I only observed two down games on the floor. Overall, it was an excellent experience for the family.

Y'all. This place. It is amazing. I did not know what to expect. The man at the front desk was so helpful. He explained everything to us. Our waitress was great. Typical Dave and Buster's. Games are fun. There is a bar with TV's if there is a game you want to watch. Some games are definitely more of a value than others. 3 games of ski ball are worth one person playing a newer game that may be lame. We spent about $45 playing games for 1 kid and 2 adults for a little over an hour and that seemed like enough time to do everything we wanted to.

All the games are now extremely over crowded. You are almost standing on top of each other time even watch your kids play. Not much room to walk around. We probably won't go back to this location due to how close all the games are with little room to move around.

Service here is awful. Sat at the bar for half an hour waiting to be helped, had to yell out to get someone's attention just to be served. they helped a bunch of people that came to the bar after me. Really ruins the fun. UPDATE 3 years later- this place continues to be awful! It's still the absolute worst service. The bartender had an attitude. But maybe that's managments fault for having her run everything alone.

I usually prefer to write positive reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience to help others make an informed decision. Unfortunately, this was our worst experience at this Dave & Buster's location, despite being regular visitors. I took my son here on 11/03, hoping for a fun outing, but right from the start, things felt off. The entrance was cluttered with construction, which, while understandable, set a disappointing tone. However, we were there to play games, so we tried to look past it.

I'm not a big fan of spending money at Casinos an Dave and Busters but I took the wife out on a half off tickets day and I had a blast. It was entertaining with so many machines, the employees were very helpful, the atmosphere felt fun but not too kid-ish and most importantly it didn't smell like smoke unlike other places near by that I visited.. Overall extremely satisfied but STAY AWAY from the spongebob machine...it's super addictive ??
