Dave & Buster's in Fairfield is a solid entertainment option, especially if you're looking to combine adult relaxation with keeping the family entertained. Its great location within the mall makes it easy to extend your visit and explore other attractions, which is a definite plus. I found it to be a good way to unwind with a drink for the adults, while simultaneously keeping pre-teens and above thoroughly occupied. It's a win-win for families with diverse entertainment needs. However, be warned: this pla

Great place to go to get a bite, drinks, and play a little games. Our food was good. Menu has a diverse selection - something expected for an entertainment place like this. As far as service, our experience was okay. They were probably short staffed that day. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back for a celebration event or something.

Do not eat here. The food was dripping in oil, very expensive, and took way too long to get the order. This place does not have anywhere to sit down unless you're eating their food, if you can call it that. The food was so bad that we got sick from it. The atmosphere was so loud we got headaches after a while.

Sorry workers! This place was not even busy Saturday night , when i walked in we sat at the bar to grab a drink before we played and couldn't get service for about 15 minutes when i decided to just not get one because they took so long not even a acknowledgment by the bartender, security is definitely not doing his job if the bathroom smells like people are smoking in their, and as i was walking out of the business i couldn't believe i waited so long for a drink but yet when as im leaving i see the security

Worst service ever. The waitress stopped by like twice the entire 2 hours we sat there. Someone else brought out the food. We had to ask a different waiter to bring our waters to the table that the first lady completely forgot about, had to ask someone else for a to go box, had to go up to the actual bar for a drink refill, twice. For how insanely expensive it is for 4 people to eat then play, it would be nice to not feel completely forgotten by our waitress.

Greatly exceeded my expectations. We were seating quickly on a Friday night. So many options to choose from on their menu and the kids options were also great. The burgers were pretty good, I also tried the fish and chips, portions were big! My daughter loved her pizza. The ambiance was very welcoming, the staff was very friendly. It was great to have the arcade right next to our table, my daughter couldn't wait to play games. Everything was super clean, we can't wait to go back.

I always come to the Fairfield location and have good service. Today was different and really upset me. I came in right before the Eagles versus Rams game. It was not busy yet so I figured my kids and I can grab food before playing some games. We sat in the section near the bar and the waitress serving the area didn't bother to come to our table. She walked by several times and didn't look our way. As we waited, another family came in and that server went to assist them after only a few minutes. I flagged s

Well, if you're going there for games it's a good idea. I went there for dinner my food didn't arrive until I reminded the staff several times. The lead staff was extremely apologetic, that was refreshing. I'd go there for "games and a meal" it wouldn't be my first option for just a meal.

Not the best service. They made me feel like an annoyance after ignoring me as long as possible. There was no one even there to distract them. When they finally did pay attention the service improved to being adequate. The wings had no sauce on them and seemed more like Buffalo flavored wings periods on the bright side during the winter. I'm sure this will keep the kids busy.

The service was not good. Sat us down at tables with food underneath and tables needed cleaning. However when pointed out it was swept and cleaned. I'm wondering why they would seat us like that? Took a while for them to take our order. We did not have napkins or silverware when food arrived so by the time we got them food was getting cold. Order was mixed up, they didn't know who had what. Food would have been good if it was hot. Mind you there were 3 people helping us....?? I must say it was not a good ex

NOT what it used to be to be. Sadly?.. Gone down hill. Service sucked. Brought out an app I ordered and food got cold before I could grab the bartender to get silverware. Food sucked. Cold. Super processed and tasted like metal. Drinks?. Weak. Atmosphere?.Ghetto

Tonight, I decided to stop in for a quick drink and bite to eat before my appointment. I was helped by Matt at the bar, and although he was alone working the bar, the service was great, and I didn't wait as long as expected. My food was brought out by Matthew( just that fast I forgot his name, but I think this was it? He also was friendly and provided great service and didn't get irritated like some waiters have in the past, when I asked for a to go box. Overall, the food the service was great, and I appre

I had an amazing night out with my family!!! They were more than accommodating! Food was hot and delicious!!!!! Will be back!!!!! A special thank you to Anthony and Aldo!!!! Customer service skills did NOT lack

We stopped here with my brother mom and niece a while back, everything was great. Good food good service and the games were really fun. We will definitely be back.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of arcade games, from DDR to House of the Dead 4. Almost all of the games encourage multi-player action so it's a great place for parties (party room available). The appetizers are a bit dear, but worth enjoying in the sports grill. Server Julisa was friendly and attentive and gave a great suggestion for trying the shrimp scampi flatbread.

The food was terrible. My cheeseburger and fries tasted like seafood (which leads me to think the fish is fried in the same oil as the French fries). The fries were salty. Service was so slow. I never got my beverage in the hour I spent there. Eat elsewhere; this place is only good for video games and nothing else.

Went there for my daughter's birthday yesterday and I like that place. We had dinner and the food was pretty good and all of the kids had a great time.

A lot of lights and games for the entire family or work crew. Nice full bar and party/event space. Clean big restrooms and located right in the Solano Mall next to Canes and extremely close to the freeway.

Great place for kids but get ready to spend lots of money on games and food we paid almost 80 bucks for two burgers and fries and if you like grease the burgers are just right for you , my son did enjoy the games and service was lacking to get to our table

We went here to have a great time with my granddaughter! We just went for the games, so we haven't tried their food yet, so maybe I'll update this review next time we go back to dine in.

I don't want to come here one of staffs not good how to approach us and not sorry I refund my 100 USD to my bank and don't go there anymore this is my second time today .God has a plan not to fight for the jealous and kill joy our happiness .many been rude to us and some now they don't have anymore business bcoz God see how they treat us

Worst bar service I've ever had, if you can even get service at all. I've been here on weekend nights and weekday nights, and it's always one overwhelmed bartender soloing the whole bar or one bartender that moves so slow and ignores customers for as long as possible and doesn't clean up. It should not take over 20 minutes to get your order taken and get a simple drink. Table service is also lacking; they seem to have two waitresses for the entire dinning room and after being seated by the host you're lucky

I did not play games at this visit but I just visited to dine in. It was clean and staff was very attentive. I was seated quickly and looked through the offerings. Mimosa was not on the menu but they still had them avaliable.I ordered a smash burger with 3 patties and made my fries garlic fries. It was really tasty. Patties well done, veggies fresh and fries were fresh and flavorful. Ifyou are into watching sports while you dine then you should come here. I see it as a nice family spot, for tailgating, or

Everything was good until it came to the bill. I knew the bill was going to be a little high but they charged us drinks that should not have been charged. In the menu the kids menu states that all kids meals come with a soft drink or a apple juice. I got two kid pizzas and two soft drinks for those two pizzas. Once I paid, 1st the guy did not even give me a receipt & we had to go chase him down for a receipt. Second I was like okay the bill should have not been too high so I looked and they charged me for

Lots of fun. We came here for lunch and video games. Great for the kids and the adults had fun too.

After an absolute NIGHTMARE vacation. We stopped here on the way home and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air it was. The friendliest staff, affordable prices, and DELICIOUS food and cocktails, we can't thank you enough for giving us a good memory from our trip. Will return any chance we can. 10/10??

Honestly I get consistently bad service here, it's often 10 minutes minimum to get the bartender to greet me, even when I'm the only person there. If it was just a little faster I wouldn't mind it. Maybe they need a second bartender. Food is usually decent, atmosphere is what you'd expect

Food sucks but I don't come here to eat it come to play. It's a smaller location if you've been to others you'll know its smaller if you haven't then I guess you wouldn't know the difference.

Pretty small need more games for adults, no kids after 7pm need to be implemented ?? food was ?? ??

Came to enjoy some dinner with my cousin, awful service. Waitress Christie did not bring us any silverware I had to go grab it myself from the back table. Asked her for some plates when she brought out our appetizer and she never brought them?.. took 50 min for food to come out just to be disgusting. Cocktail super light. Horrible service never coming back.

The Staff here are very respectful and keep the whole location up to par. I can't say enough about the arcade. You have to check out the VR Star Wars Game as well as The House Of The Dead. There are a lot of good people out in Fairfield I wish I was more familiar with the area. ????

I love this Dave & Buster's..... Only 4 stars because they don't have table shuffleboard and that's my favorite. Great staff we enjoyed our meal and drinks. Take full advantage of the best happy hour out there and awesome game promos. We redeemed our tickets for food and everything was delicious. This is a great addition to the area and can't wait to go again.

I have gone to this location at least one other time in my romper one piece and was not dress coded. I went in today to spend some time with the hubby before he went back to work for the week. I was dress coded and had to go into the mall to buy some pants really quickly so i ended up getting pants that weren't comfortable and didn't fit me and ruined my experience. They had security and the manager covering the entrance so i couldn't even get to our car to see if i could find something and so i wouldn't ha

Good times and good food. Employees seem a bit stressed and maybe stretched, but a waiter by the name of Matt was a hard worker and took real good care of my family and his support team was perfect. Can't go wrong with video games and young kids. The Fish and Chips ????. The manager or supervisor was also very attentive to assure all was taken care and our family was satisfied with our dining needs.

We went to Dave & Buster's for Trivia night on a Tuesday and was really excited to play, but after waiting for 30min and having to ask what was going on, the staff informed us that the trivia host simply left the building with no explanation. It was a big bummer because it's why we met up there to have fun. The service could be better especially for a Tuesday night I felt :/ We waited awhile just to order drinks, and then put in the entire order so we wouldn't have to wait again. The kitchen took awhile, bu

Always have a great time playing MarioKart with my sister. Very fun atmosphere and you can have a great time for hours spending very little cash. Haven't tried any food yet but will soon

Several games were not functioning, but there are more than enough that did! Great fun, we'll definitely be back. The prizes are really awesome, staff are a little distant excepting for the gentleman manning the ticket/prize store. That guy was awesome! Overall it was definitely worth the cost, everyone in my group laughed and smiled the whole time.

Great food, staff, and fun. Way overpriced though !! Definitely a special occasion kind of place.

6 of us went out for dinner. The entire menu had been changed to not include any of the favorites. "NEW" was everywhere on the menu. Each of us ordered something different and found the appetizers were good but the entries lacked flavor, and swam in oil. the drinks were fruity and sweet but no trace of alcohol. The shared deserts stayed on the table barely eatten. The service sucked. There wasn't anybody there but our server kept disappearing.

We sat at the bar waited for about 5/9 minutes we were greeted by Stephanie she was cleaning only beautiful person the acknowledged us at the bar ! never got greeted by bartender got up and went to get a table we did get service quick dinner was great! Il

10pm on a Saturday night. 1-star for the food, because i didnt get to hardly try any. So its 10pm on a Saturday night... and the table takes almost 20 minutes to be greeted. I dont even think it is the server's fault, because the bar area is large in size, the view is somewhat obscured, and they appeared to be understaffed. So i order some fries while i wait for company. The fries come out in a lesser quantity than what a small McDonalds fry would provide. This was presented for 4.99. The delivery wa

First time to dave and busters! It was alot of fun, I felt like the games were alot of fun and really cool. I loved zombie games, pac man and the hungry hippos was fun too. Food was good! Service was a bit slow, and took a while to get our drinks, but I did have a large group. Overall it was a good time!

fantastic and such a good time. the food is good. the chicken parmesean is world class. games are great as well........ .....

Ordered the pretzel it was HUGE. We had a great time, good service. The food was actually BOMB! Will certainly add this into the rotation!!!

This place has the worst service of any Dave & Buster?s I've been to. I have never been ignored more at a bar in my entire life. I guess they don't like to make money here. Food was good and atmosphere was good.

It was beyond awesome. All because the bartender ,Justin Banks, went crazy on his customer service skills and bartending mixology. the happy hour cocktails he created were deliciously refreshing

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in with my family and we sat at the bar. We were greeted very rudely with ? You show me ID at my bar.? So my party pulled out their IDs, I just so happen to have forgotten mine, so I left and went all the way home ( 10 min away) when I got back no one in my party was helped. They have been sitting waiting. The bar tender went and helped a whole group that just walked up to the bar and ignored my party. They only had one bartender and what looked like no server anywhe

Food was quick and decent. I'd give my burger a 6/10, D&B is clean and new, games were fun..

Bar tenders and people serving have the attitude that they are doing the customer a favor. They take forever to help. They dont care about helping or having you wait. At least a ?hey I'll be with you in a bit? of courtesy would be nice. 7-28-2024 I stood at bat for 25 minutes and girl bartender there at 4pm made sure to avoid me. Pathetic hospitality and customer service is horrible. This place sucks.

Most of all the new food options where good but unfortunately the service lacks. We had our server disappear for about 35-40 minutes. We had requested help from another service (young light skinned guy with an afro) to simply check out and he didn't help what so ever instead he was watching the game with his friends thats were seated at a table. Then we requested help from the manager and that seemed to not help either. The server was so attentive at first then it went down hill. Highly encourage people to

Came for dinner. It was my first time visiting/eating at this location. I had the nachos and tried their fries. Ordered the Backwoods Blueberry Lemonade. Nachos were ok. The fries were pretty good. The drink was sweet but still strong. Service was good. It was slow, though. They didn't have it all together, but they weren't rude, so that's a plus.

The place is so nice inside. There are so many new games like an arcade. However, the service was so darn slow! I mean, we waited forever for our food only to be told our order was messed up and we would need to wait an additional 15m. We did get free side and drinks. The waiter was super nice and appoligatic. The food was good.

Server started there were no online orders, so I placed another order with him. I drove from another city so I was certain I had ordered and paid. I ended up waiting 45 for the order that was already said to be completed before my arrival showed up at the front desk. It came out faster than the other order but there was no structure. Everyone in clusters talking to one another not working

Insanely slow...Nice waitress. Not blaming her but the kitchen dropped the ball. They brought me my meal in pieces. Ask for refills and never got it. Why hasn't Corporate come and done something about this place.

Food was good, the steak on the salad a little chewy.

They changed the menu items and took all the yummy food away the fish and chips used to be a decent sized slab of fish now its like 3 little strip for the same price. Not worth the money I spent. The staff wasn't bad but I've definitely had better service in the past. We won't be back it used to be worth the money we spent there. But not anymore. It's just another over rated chuck E cheese.

Same good D&B environment in terms of games. Service was just terrible. Food took forever and items were missing and drinks also took forever. Place wasn't even packed when we came. Our server also brought us utensils after most of us were done eating. We were a party of 10 and was just disappointing.

Don't dine here! Their service sucks! If you're famished, and this is the only place open in the area, bring your own silverware and bring your own drinks! Ask first if the food you ordered is available or if you'll be waiting forever. And make sure you write down what you ordered. Otherwise, they'll bring it to the other table. I would give this place a negative star if I could. No one seems to know what they're doing. Seems like the workers don't like each other. They dont talk to each other and dont have

The food is slightly above-average but the service is excruciatingly slow. Inexplicable really considering the dining room was only 1/4 full. We waiting 20+ minutes for an order of buffalo wings. Then later it 5 full minutes to bring a glass of water. Maybe the kitchen staff and servers are trained to delay service so customers have more time to spend $$ on arcade games and cocktails.

Went for the first time for my birthday had a ball food and drinks were fantastic definitely going back

Cool place for parents and kids. Nice to see that combination work well. Parents can sit, drink and eat and still have they're kids in view. GOOD JOB D&B ????

I used to be a very loyal customer to Dave and busters. They HAD an amazing salmon entree. They have recently cut this from the menu which was a terrible business decision as this menu item always said #1 most liked item when ordering online. They have also downsized their shareable garlic parmesean fries size and kept the same price. I used to be a huge fan of this combo but will probably not be back without the salmon on the menu!

Fairfield D&B ?Super slow service, and so different drink from the menu..my kids were disappointed. The waiters should have mentioned what they were out of stock of before they came with the items/food we ordered..

Came to see a fight! Screens and atmosphere was great, but the bar was backed up. Got our food and almost finished it before we even got water to drink at least. Seemed like they had enough staff but they were just standing around ?? when asked where the drinks were everyone just said the same the bar was backed up. But at least water would have been helpful

The service was horrible. We went as party of 10 and bartender took 30 - 40 minutes for water. We did order drinks, yet we got them very slowly. It took us 20 minutes just to order drinks. We intended to order between $300 - $400 worth of drinks among us, but were only left to order about $140 of drinks. The bartender left our side of the bar after serving our group and did not return. We left the establishment not getting the experience as advertised. I will recommend to all my friends/ coworkers to absta

Fun games and also delicious food. You can watch sports on the big screen....nice

First time in my life ever going to a dave and buster's, it was 10:40pm, just got off a heavily exhausting workshift with my girlfriend. Sat at the bar, looking for a nice beer to start. Waited practically 15 mins just to get drinks started. Bartender Shawn arrived and I didn't feel welcomed at all with the him, barely got any service. I maintained uptmost respect and I hoped for a great time, the bartender's demeanor nearly killed it for me enough to just pay the tab right then and there and walk out. As

Very slow service, felt like I was being ignored, had to flag down someone after sitting for 15 minutes to even get a menu. I even seen people leaving before being served. I mean acknowledge that I'm here and you'll be with me when you can. This has happen twice and I discussed this same situation with family, and they agreed, i?m totally different occasions. The bartender is the tall black bald guy, seems like he hates his job. Won't be going back. And I'm sure others feel the same. Very poor customer se

Love this restaurant! It's like Chuck E. Cheese but for adults with a great menu. Plus, being in the mall and having awesome games is a definite positive.

The food was undercooked, the item that wasn't even above warm temp. I'm really disappointed. Although the music is good, it seemed so loud you litterly couldn't hear the person sitting across from you. The male manager was very nice

This is a good place to celebrate events like birthdays. The party area is quite big and nice! Foods.. I wish there are other option than french fries, nacho dips and burgers. But I love their nachos. Burgers are just OK. Fries is just the same as fast food fries, nothing special. Kids enjoyed the game area. Nice!

(In reply to the owners comment below, how to get those last 2 stars) you could allow other wait staff to "check out" customers. We were finished with our meal, boxes brought out, but no check. We waited for over 30 min for our check to be brought to us, because our waiter was sat a 25 top right then. When he finally got back to us, he explained the delay (the large party), and that he was the only one that could check us out. It wasn't his fault, it didn't effect his personal performance or tip, it's

Our servers really made our night! Our section got a little messed up because of all the people and chaos. A young lady brought my daughters the wrong entree while I was away and Mrs. Licie (pronounced Lee see) said no problem and straightened everything out. People Here are cool as the other side of my pillow. Plus games AND drinks! What! Love it Love it love it!!!

We were there to celebrate my niece's 4th birthday. I was treating her to Dave & Buster's and Build a Bear after. The waitress never really smiled and seemed tired, she was more interested in taking care of her 2 sons that were visiting, told her one of the salads tasted funny but she didn't care and she didn't even bring my niece a birthday ice cream like she had said she would. My niece was a little heartbroken.

Kids had a great time with the games, the prizes were better than most arcades. There was nobody in the dining area when we sat down but the service was incredibly slow & they were out of a lot of things on the menu- it took us all 3 tries to be able to order. It was decent food, but probably a better place to play than to eat

I was invited to celebrate a friend?s birthday we made reservations then to be told that is not guaranteed then what is the point of making reservations. We asked if our party could have a booth so the children could seat instead of the high chairs we had over 10 kids. The server asked the manager Michele which for some reason was already upset and denied our request she didn't let us explained why we wanted the booth instead of the high chairs tables which I found it very rude specially being the manager I

Our server was very nice, she was honest and let us know the kitchen was backed up and would be a minimum of 45 minutes before getting anything. The food wasn't very good- I ordered the smash burger, and it came out looking like a regular cheeseburger with 3 mini patties, parts of the bun was hard, the tomato looked weathered so I threw that away (I should?ve thrown the 3 pickles away too because they tasted old)?but again, our server was very nice which made the dining experience. In short, play the games

Wow... What a huge disappointment. Luckily it was more about the kids and the games that make the place. Music was WAY to loud for the small area. Service terrible. Food took forever and had to constantly check on. We had at least 3 different times when servers brought us that wasn't ours. When we finally received our food it was just ok. The frustrating part was it wasn't even crowded! If I ever went back it would be for my son and the games and not the food.

Great look, great food. Took an hour to get food when it's empty Monday. Not one water refilled for our table, forgot condiments, Staff is slow with drink and food orders.. no draft beers in stock besides coors light but claim to have many. No beers in bottles and their excuse was ?it's Monday we need to restock? I will not come back to this location with my family of 9 or any friends. Thanks for the worst D&B I've gone too. $250 wasted

Did our company holiday party here and it was incredible!! The staff is amazing!!

Food was mediocre, service was worse. One drink per person so everyone has to stop gaming to go wait at the bar for 15 mins just to get noticed. Sucked the fun out of everything. Doesnt even look like the employees are enjoying where they work..

It shouldn't take 30 minutes for one pretzel. They are super slow with food for the several times I've ordered food. I'm learning to just skip the food. I even order to-go thinking it would be faster. Nope. Snails. They also need a customer service shakedown. Even their managers need to go to customer service school. They don't apologize and they don't offer to make things right. Things have changed since they opened. I don't like the self-seating concept since the wait for service tends to take longer. The

First time there, came on a Thursday. Nice staff, food server had us at a wait but was friendly. Place was clean, nothing broke, all the games were working. Great place. LOVE the food!

First time going to this location and it was a lot of fun. The arcade and tickets you can win is fun. Also there is a lot of multiplayer games to have fun with and do as well. Now the reason I'm leaving a 4 star and not a 5 is the food. It's okay, which is what makes it bad. You need to pay about $10-$15 per meal and the food is just okay, doesn't taste very good, but not bad. You can get more for less at Black Bear Diner and the food taste good. Also they expect you to play in the arcade so you food wait

We will be back for sure. The food was great and the beer was cold. Atmosphere was fun and staff very friendly. Even put on the Giants game for us. Cons were that the QR code menu doesn't have all of the items loaded. The women's restroom was out of order. And while the staff were friendly and attentive when asked, there simply wasn't enough of them for the crowd they were serving. It's a new place. I'm certain they'll work out the kinks and we will have 5 star service next time.

June 10 at 2:03pm. Daughter was playing the rubber duck game. A duck got stuck in the claw which caused an error but the duck was trapped in the claw but just wouldn't open. The tech manager (skinny white guy with pony tail) opens it up and fixes the game. Instead of giving her the duck that was stuck in the claw, he throws the duck back in the game but gives her a credit. Seriously, give her the 2cent duck that was stuck. Guy had an attitude the entire time. Can't handle kids, just quit and stop making eve

My friend and I took our boys yesterday. We waited about 45 minutes for a table. Not too bad. We went to play games while we waited. The games were ok, but really expensive. I was expecting that they would be expensive but I wasn't prepared for how much they actually were. We bought the $100 card and blew through that in an hour and a half. Some games charged us but didn't work. You have to watch that. Especially if you give your kid a card and they just keep tapping the game and getting charged for a defec

First time going and it was fun. We will go back. We didn't eat, just did gaming.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge.
