Besides the fact some random kid pushed in my son's cake while we were playing games, the overall time and service we had was wonderful. They allowed us to keep the cake in their refrigerator which was extremely nice. Our server was A1 as well, I forgot her name tho but she was extremely funny, she made my day better. We definitely reccomend this place for kids and family fun. Btw, the bar drinks ARE EFFING AMAZING OMGGGGGG I'd go back just to blackout at the bar. Jk but really, the drinks are made with ex
We found a great place to celebrate my husband?s birthday with the whole family. The food was good, the games were so fun and the prizes were pretty good. It is a little hard to keep a 4 year old entertained for long but it was fun. I highly recommend this Dave and Buster?s Location.
I had decided to visit some good friends while I was in Corpus Christi and we decided to meet up at Dave and Buster?s and I had a great time. The food, drinks and ambiance were spot on and top notch.
We tried all the appetizers and it was so heavy. But, the best appetizer is going to have to be the Hot Potstickers or the Barbados Quesadillas. Burger must be decent too, but the nachos were way too much and were mediocre. Our waiter was really nice though, and accommodated to all our needs!
Horrible experience! Not only did it take a long time for our waitress to attend to us, but she rarely came back to check on our table. My order was wrong, and it took another 25 minutes to get my plate. Everyone else at the table was finishing their meals when my order finally came out, and it was an entirely different waiter who delivered my meal and who had taken it back. It was not our table's waitress. And to top it off, they charged me an $18 gratuity because my family and brother's family were
Ever wanted to go deaf in a shoe box with overpriced food and drinks? Now you can! I understand the general appeal of Dave and Busters but this is easily the worst one I've ever been to and it's 100% because of the layout. Everything is on top of everything else, it's loud and disorienting, the food is ok but not why you're showing up. I can't imagine having to work here.
Extremely clean place. Games are updated and current.. The food prices are decent and the food is excellent. Bring plenty of $ because you will burn through that game card quickly.. Great place to burn a few hours. It seems all the games are working properly and functioning. Restrooms were clean and overall the whole restaurant/ game room is tidy. I recommend going if you have a few $ to burn ..
While D&B is a large chain and I typically prefer locally owned restaurants, they have a nice menu a step above typical bar food and they maintain the quality and value. Add the huge game area with options. For kids and adults and you have a winning combination
We came on my birthday today. It was my first visit to this restaurant. We ordered the cheese sticks which were phenomenal ??????. A steak and a bacon burger. The steak was a little too salty the portions were nice though. Honestly i should have got the bacon burger. Because it was a really good size and my husband didn't even finish it and normally just to clean his plate in seconds. It was a Tuesday so it was not crowded. the place is really clean and neat as well as were the bathrooms. Very chill back at
Revamped atmosphere is amazing. The food is PERFECT- dill pickle chips are amazing. Steak protein bowl and flat breads - wow! Turning to the little things?..the napkins are large and thick- just need one-and the super large color changing straws?? love this place?.time to play!
Yep. It's Dave and Busters. Fun spot. Clean. Had a hoot and a half with the fam.
We visited this location the same day we visited the McAllen location because we took a "side trip" from San Antonio to visit both. I am certainly glad I did, because we got to meet Matt S, the General Manager of this location. He was so welcoming, to say the absolute least about him. I got to chat with him at length about his time with the company and experiences, and he was just a good guy. This location had the remodel and they have two Social Bays with darts and one with shuffleboard, and they have The
Food & service were great! Atmosphere not so much, club music playing in dining area at 8 on a Thursday. Could barely hear the person talking sitting right next to you. Cool place to hang out w friends & for older kids
Honestly, not what I expected! Very comfortable atmosphere. I was invited to my nephew's birthday party and my sister reserved the front area. The staff was on point making sure all our needs were met. Everything was timely and the food was great for parties and drinkers alike. The darts were unique with a kiosk controlled dart board. You just select the game and it led the way. I fought giving it a 5 star over a 4. It seemed unfair to knock it for the price. These days you must pay for a fine experience so
I see that I was asked what could be done to earn the full 5 stars. Perhaps not bringing me the wrong order 3 times in a row might help. We ordered a plate of endless wings, and every single time they kept bringing me the wrong wings, not the ones that I ordered. Apologies were offered every time, assuring me that the next time they would bring the correct ones. But they never did. I'll not eat at Dave and Busters again. I'll keep playing the games though... just not gonna eat there anymore.
The food is good but my burger had cartilage in because of the pork belly they really need to take the time to inspect the food before severing or putting it together. But if you come here to eat I suggest you ask for Mark he was a really great waiter he had excellent customer service The only thing that makes this place not so good would be the fact they did not want to take the burger off my ticket the manager could not even do that. So I could not even enjoy my burger so to the fact I'm scared to eat mor
So the host are rude, I walked up with my gf and they just stared at us like we were bothering them while they texted. But our server Kaci was Amazing!!! 100/10 for her she's great!
Out of all the Dave and busters, this one is the most busted. Card charging kiosks didn't work, so there was a massive line of people waiting just to pay to play games. Two registers with one employee. Then after you've waited in line, if you've paid with a card, you feel pressured to tip. The prize area had an employee with a register and a menu of prices for the cards, but wasn't able to ring people up. They're currently remodeling, so a good chunk of the games don't work, or turned off, just to make room
For being my first time at Dave & Buster's in the palamera Mall in Corpus Christi It was a awesome experience They were able to accommodate our large crowd very quickly The food and the drinks flowed at a good timing I highly recommend Dave & Buster's for all your entertaining needs no matter what size party you have They were able to accommodate us and we had at least 25 people The atmosphere the food the drinks everything was awesome Thank you for making our graduation party a good time and good memories
Service not as good as was when opened up. Employees don't make you feel welcomed. Bartender was very rude and seems like I bothered him and her when I asked for a drink.. this is a month ago. We never went back anymore. We go to one in San Antonio
We attended a birthday party at this venue, and everything was perfect. All the kids had a great time, the pizza was delicious and the adults had access to a bar. Win/Win!
Managers were amazing! Corporate- Don't book 2 big fights on 1 night - that's stupid. Ask bartenders to not look like they hate their lives on fight nights. They all acted like they were stuck up and angry. Mo, especially.?Pic was her face all night. Lots of people over a long time, I get it. Cheerful service gets you better tips. We plan to be back, as long as D&B doesn't plan UFC and Boxing on the same night.
Came for my son's birthday and the overall experience was great. Hostess, wait staff and manager are wonderful and make you feel welcome. The food was lackluster and leaves something to be desired but our waiter and the managerwere excellent in handling my complaint about the meal. Everyone in our party enjoyed the games. Will definitely be back for desserts and games, but will probably eat elsewhere before we come.
Sit at the bar at least 10 minutes before a bartender actually came ask me did I need anything. 3 bartenders passed me up like they refused to serve me. Extremely dissatisfied with the service!!! I addressed the situation as if they didn't want to serve me the bartender just smile!! Definitely felt racially profiled!!!!!
Oof...! The food is extremely disappointing. Our waitress didn't know the happy hour special, much less that it WAS happy hour. Incredible stench of cinnamon from what seems to be a hospital grade cleaning session.
We had a wonderful time here on our vacation my kids are still talking about it. The food was delicious. I didn't have high expectations after reading the reviews but our food was delicious and so were the adult beverages. I would say it's probably for older kids, mine are 5 and 3, so the couldn't reach some of the pedals, but they still had a great time.
I haven't eaten here in awhile. I am very disappointed. The food at Dave and Buster's used to be Amazing! Not anymore. The steak doesn't have that magnificent taste that it used too and the mash potatoes look and taste fake. The cheese never melted on top of them either. I am sitting here waiting for our server to come back. She has not been very attentive. My daughter's fries were very salty and she complained. The fried onions on the steak were burned. The silverware looked dirty.
Super fun place!! Pricey like any places with games. Food on the other hand... not so great. I had the cantina nachos. I can't put my finger on it but just did not like them at all. Also had the super stack burger. Flavor wise it was ok.. but that extra bread in the middle made it too bread-y so I took it out. Kids had the goldfingers/ chicken strips. They thought they were ok but disappointed because they came with ketchup and not gravy. Also had the buffalo wings. My son liked them but he never
They're lucky I'm giving 2 stars...this place is overpriced and overly hyped. Too expensive for what deals they think they're giving. I have a better time at Fun Trackers even though it's a lil pricy, too, but you can do more there for the buck than here. Update: If I could not give a star, I would, so instead, I downgraded my review to one star. Apparently, some employees think they're entitled to a tip even if you don't. Pay attention to your detailed statement if you use a credit/debit card because wha
It's been awhile since going to D&B because of the lack of food choices. Now I see that there is less on the menu. It's looking more like a sports bar atmosphere than a family fun spot. The games were good but it's noticeable that they had to put what they could in this small space. We enjoyed our server and was greeted very well when we entered.
Sat at the bar and the bartender was very rude from the start. Asked for a food menu and waited 45 minutes before flagging someone down as no one came up to us. When I told the manager he was nonchalant and did not care at all
D&B is a pretty awesome place. Came here for the first time and it was pretty good. Not really the best place for a conversation though, it's a little too loud. However, if you're coming with friends to come a have some fun, it's the perfect atmosphere. The food was pretty good, a little cold by the time it got to the table though. Overall a good experience.
Cool pool place to take the kids to play video games or arcade games. They have good prices for your earned tickets. The food is okay. The drinks are better. This location is not as big as the San Antonio locations but they have fun games and it's in a good location right off the only highway in Corpus.
Honestly i go just for the games but when I went this last time to eat and games I was disappointed I brought a party for a bday and my waitress was so lost and I got my food cold and my steak was super chewy it was just bad and then she tried to charge alcohol drinks on my ticket saying I ordered that but I caint even drink alcoholic beverages
The Basic review of this place is it is fun has lots of games and things to do. But the real deal is that the food honestly feel overpriced for the quality given, it is bar food at best. But after winning some prizes and having fun my night being over and leaving. 3 days later find that I've been charged 3 times all different charges on my card currently working with my fraud department to figure out why. But im sad to say if I do return will only be paying cash.
Great place for kids and parents. Also being next to the mall to walk it out is great. Don't go to the bar them bar tenders are rude. Get a table and get served better. Summer time more tips, but I guess bar tenders are not well experienced!!! June 22,2023.
Don't try the old fashioned. $15.14 for an old fashioned and she said oh I forgot the bitters, muddled the cherry and orange peel together?. Tastes like crap. When I said what! 15 bucks just for future reference that's not how you make an old fashioned she said we make our drinks differently?? like what ? sorry hunny but there's 1 way to make this drink!
i love franky!!!!!! he's so sweet and took care of me and my family. also drinks are 10/10 would come again?.and will with love xoxo. also give franky a 10$ raise ASAP.
I love our Dave and Busters Location - awesome staff, great food, clean with good service. I love coming in almost weekly and playing some of my favorite games, enjoying an appetizer!
Loved the experience! Had a last minute dinner with the family and enjoyed every bit of it. Can't beat good service and great food. The manager, Eddie even came by the table and asked if everything was good, you just don't see that anymore; not to mention the option of sports to watch while you wait. Definitely recommend!!
The smallest and most boring Dave and Busters I've ever seen. Game selection was miniscule and unimpressive. I played everything of worth in under half an hour. Very dissapointing.
Someone needs to tell the staff when it's a watch party the ppl showing up for it want to 1 sit together. 2 have better customer service.
My first time there with my Son, his girlfriend and my Daughter the food was really good, I am not into arcade games though, but they are. We had a good time
Loved it. Smaller than i expected Good food. Nice staff.
Had a great time. The Creole Shrimp Dip is Great, Very tasty Entr?e's, large food portions.
Went in on superbowl Sunday with my daughters and it was great...will definitely be back.
Always an amazing experience and great staff ! Justin gave amazing drink and food suggestions to me and my table ! I would definitely go again and bring more guests to enjoy the same experience I did ! Thank you ??
Great experience with kiddos. The facility is extremely clean and appears everyone is taking precautions to remain masked and at a distance. Beer is cold wings are great fast service by Adrian the bartender. Spring Break 2021
We do enjoy going. The food is good and the games are fun. Sometimes, there are a few that are out of order. They just did a remodel. It has areas where you can rent for a party. They have been adding new games.
Jordan?s been my bartender every time i come in and her service & camaraderie is phenomenal. I recommend coming in when she works!
We had such a wonderful experience & it all started with Colin! He showed us a great time while playing darts, a new section & game offered by D & B. Then came our food. It was so delicious! Altogether a wonderful experience, thanks especially to our fabulous waiter, Ben Anderson, who I highly recommend for exceptional service.
Very disappointing. I ordered through a delivery food app and the restaurant provided no sauces. The cauliflower was anemic (look at how small in the pictures) and no sriracha aioli was provided despite that being in the description. I also ordered the wings and no ranch was included despite that being in the order.
Love this place! Its got great food, hang out vibes, and games.
Customer service was insanely bad. Bartender didn't speak or talk about the menu or specials, just stared at us and we aren't usually drinkers so didn't know what to even order. Super rude. Girls at the prize station just stared at us when we walked up and didn't say anything. One guy working on games was so nice, didn't catch his name. Otherwise, bad experience and waste of money. Games are mid.
Where to begin. Service sucked, food was cold, wait times were ridiculous. Our waiter was nice but not very attentive. We were large group and most of us are generally generous tippers so it would have been a decent table for him. Food took forever but it wasn't that busy. I could see the cooks and order screens? not much was going on in that kitchen. Most of them had long hair and facial hair but not hair/beard nets. My fries were barely room temp by the time my plate came, another persons pasta was warm a
Nice friendly environment. Food and drinks are decent. Only complaint is that it's a smaller location.
Like to share that Mr. Nathan and Collin were very noligable with the new set up on their grand opening in social base experience. Definitely will come back and tell my family who didn't make it with us. We had an awesome time!!
Had a fun time. It is a little smaller than other D&Bs we have been to. Felt a little cramped.
Horrible service. I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was young. Took about 20min to actually get our drinks..the restaurant wasn't busy and he had our table and a larger table. We came to eat there after we had sat all morning in the hospital so we just wanted to eat. My fianc? got mad I even tipped the guy because my fianc? is a simple person. Refill his drink you get a 20% tip. He had to sit and wait for his food to get cold in order to get a drink. The food was absolutely horrible disgusting. T
Staff is friendly in the restaurant, however too many host talking amongst themselves to seat us.
Probably the most fun I've had in a long time! Our company took us there for Admin day and we absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. There are so many games to choose from!!
The restaurant is very warm, service was good, waiter forgot to bring my xtra ranch. Wings were good but fries were toddler portion.
The sliders were delicious. Our waiter Ashton was polite friendly and on the ball. The environment was wonderful when watching sports. Keep up the good work.
We had an amazing time at the Corpus Christi D&B! All of the staff were amazing and the food was delicious!
took an unusually long while for anybody to come greet us on many occasions before the renovations occurred. dueing our most recent visit, the pot stickers "tasted" as if they had been changed for a 'nothing flavor' and extra oil combined with some heat from the spiciness. half priced wednesdays are the only reason to go *EVER* as the games will quickly run you any money on any other day. prizes are disappointing and have been for years in *All* entertainment businesses for several years now so i can't real
Been here 5 times and the food is not good at all. Food never comes out they way it looks on the menu. They could be doing a much better job with the resources they have at hand. I have been to Dave & Buster?s in KC and Houston and they do a 100 times better job then here in Corpus Christi. I hope they get their act together but until they do my family and I will spend our money somewhere else.
Bri and Justin are very friendly and really enjoy their presence behind the bar. Drinks were delicious 10/10 recommend. Don't forget to try the Scooby snack shots!
Thank you Tina and Elizabeth also Sophia were a good help and service . My son and I had the best time playing games . The food was okay for burgers for the both of us. It has not been the same for the food since our last visit . We will return for the games though .
Very fun place for food, drinks, arcade games and watching sports. Our server Alex was very good. The management was also very nice and attentive. We will be back!
Bar was understaffed, got a bad blue moon so I ordered Guinness from a can (no charge) and took almost an hour to get that drink as we sat at the table, food took over an hour to come out on boneless wings and 2 burgers, and somehow I ended up with a second can of Guinness not poured into a glass (literally says to pour into pint on the top of can), and just little etiquettes that go a long way here and there like not passing alcohol in front of a minor (repeatedly). Management there is a joke.
Always a fun game night. Not a big fan of the food.
My mother went inside of Dave and busters and the hostess was acting all hostile with her. She only went inside before playing games to sit down at a table because she is disabled. The hostess slammed the "see a hostess to be seated sign" away from her on the other end of the table. But she didn't stop there she had to slam it right in front of my mother's face. In front of my little niece! This is very unprofessional behavior. And through out my mother's stay there with my family at 7 p.m. on Sunday she k
Okay so I went yesterday on a Sunday oct 20th 2024. Half of the games don't give you a score nor tickets for missed scores like 60% of games did this to me. I took my girlfriend on a date spent $62 which wasn't the problem but for having half the games to not work it felt like a waste a little very unpleased and wanted to say something and also BTW YOU ARE PAYING ABOUT $2 FOR A 50c GAME WHEN YOU GO TO DAVE AND BUSTERS!!! In my opinion don't go to the Dave and busters at by the mall kinda is a waste spent $6
Ok. So this was me and my husband and son?s first and only visit to Dave & Buster?s. We went on Saturday night and we started by purchasing a card to play some games. Then we went to eat. The food tasted good, but we ordered some?Shirley Temples?, which the server said they didn't have, cause she had no idea what they were, so my husband asked the bartender if she could make some and she said yes. As soon as we got them I could tell that they were not the right color, they were dark in color and had some da
Frankie is that guy! All you can eat wings were 10/10
They hosted us for a large group. Matt was awesome. Our waitstaff was great. We had fun. We'll be back for sure and certain. TY!
me, my husband, and our friends came here for the first time. We've never been to a Dave & busters so we didn't know what to expect. Hostess was okay but seemed scrambled, she wasn't exactly welcoming. It was a Saturday so it was understandably busy. We waited about 40 minutes for a table, so in the meantime we played games. All the games were working and up to date. It was a bit pricier than I thought it would be though. When our table was ready the server was very nice and sweet, checked up on us frequent
We had a good time, food was ok and games are ok , service 10/10
Fun games and they refunded extra when 1 machine was broken. Girls like it a lot
Got game cards and dined in here, was a lot of fun for the kids, is a smaller D&B than some of the others but had newer games and a good selection, I think only 2 games were out of order. Food was better than usual and got a burger cooked perfectly rare, kids like their food too. Could use a bit more low end pics / candy at the rewards shop. We had a great time overall
Had a blast here with my family. We're from Brownsville and I had never been to Dave and Busters. The food was great, I had the fire grilled salmon and it was cooked perfectly and for dessert shared a Big Daddy chocolate cake. The arcade area was fun and there's plenty of games to choose to play.
Our server was amazing. We can in for dinner and games for our child's birthday and she was so nice to use, had great food recommendations and even loaded our play card for us. After we went and played we came back for dessert she even put candles on the cake for our child. We will be back for sure.
We were there for an early dinner so it was pretty empty. We were seated quickly and then everything went downhill. We waited and waited and we were actually going to get up and leave but we walked up to the bar to order drinks and realized no one had come. The waitress said she didn't know anyone was seated there! So we ordered and kids went to play once we figured out the game card thing. Service got better but she never mentioned any drinks specials and we had to see the posters. Pretty limited menu
Excellent food and service. Very hospitable staff. Awesome new adult oriented games. Overall an awesome experience with the family
Great atmosphere, friendly personnel. Food a bit pricey but great tasting. They seem to have run out of my favorite adult beverage, but staff knowledgeable and offered me similar selections. The gaming room has fresh new games since I last visited. Overall great experience.
Great place to enjoy. Delicious drinks and friendly staff.
Miah & Tommy rock!! They are awesome & really sweet people!! They'll take great care of you and the service here is amazing!!!! Highly recommend coming to this Dave & Buster's!!! :)
No service to speak of, waiting more than an hour for cold food and another hour for the bill, couldn't flag anyone down. Probably a staffing issue however the experience was awful, not worth the hassle.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
