Customer Reviews

My experience here was amazing! The service was incredible and everyone was extremely nice. I would like to thank Jason for adding a little extra something special for not only me, but my friends as well with giving us access to extra tickets from his favorite games and a special stuffed animal.Devon was our server and went above and beyond with not only her kindness but in general, this location went above and beyond with everything, their help their service making us feel welcomed and treated well for sur

We had a blast celebrating my best friend daughter's sweet 16th birthday last night!. thank you Alex for your wonderful service you were great and the food was so delicious!! , but save the best for last my big brother JASON!!!! he made sure everyone had a great time on the game floor! He came to us and explained the games and our game cards he was so professional and lots of fun please give him promotion! ????????

took my daughter here for her sweet 16 birthday get together ?? food was on point amazing the games were awesome the virtual reality one was cool ?? the staff was so friendly and our server Alex was super nice and understanding and help me through the menu and stuff cuz it was our first time going to a Dave & Buster's ?? I want to give a huge huge shout out to Jason( the one in the picture with my daughter and friends) was a huge help and made us feel so welcome and he definitely knew how to run the floor??

THANK YOU JASON!! It can be fun, but Jason made it the best experience possible. We kept having issues with games and he fixed it up quickly and made sure we didn't miss out. He truly cares about the people and his work ethic is amazing. Jason makes sure that everyone coming to play feels heard and understood. I'm not sure if he's a manager but he definitely should be. I've never had such a great experience or had such great service anywhere. I've been so many times and he is the best person ever. I hope he

This is second time I went to Dave and busters here in bloomington Indiana. Got to say Jason is awesome he made us feel right at home great job dog.. Awesome human give him a promotion great people skills..

Had an awesome time tonight! Definitely a must-visit in Bloomington. From Alex (events), to Riley our server/host to Jason (floor attendant/game master LOL) our night was amazing and a ton of fun. Jason made sure our group (the Indiana University Women's Basketball team) had an awesome night and showed our ladies (twice!) That just because you're nice on the court, doesn't mean it translates to the arcade ??. Thanks! Hope to be back soon!

Very exciting to have an arcade in Bloomington! The layout of this Dave and busters is very open, making the whole experience feel like one big party. The wall of TVs and giant bar are impressive in the restaurant area. All of the food and drinks we tried were excellent: pizza, Buffalo chicken sliders, pretzel dogs, even salmon with Brussel sprouts! They have lots of games that are sure to keep everyone in your party entertained. Another cool features were these rooms slightly separated from the restaurant

Fun for the whole family! We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in. We didn't get food but the dining area looked nice and spacious. This was our first Dave & Busters visit so we spent some time walking around and looking at all the games. Jason, one of the game technicians, was very helpful explaining some of the games and how the points work. We did have one issue later scanning our card at a game and Jason was quickly able to resolve that too. We will definitely be back!

The only reason to come here is the good staff. I bought an arena ticket and we had 3 people in our group. We've never played before and picked a game meant for 2 or 4 people so we tried to go back and it was not allowing us to go back and pick a different game. We hit quick reset because we thought that would take us to the menu to pick another game but it took away our token. We came here to try the arena and it sucks that it is having technical issues. Staff was kind and awesome about it but there wasn

Opening night wasn't too busy! Jason was super helpful, the place was clean, and there's lots of games. A lot of pac man themed games but no wheel of fortune :(

Great place for kids and adults that want to be kids! Food was good, games were good, and the atmosphere was great. We met one of the game tech, Jason, and he was amazing at helping us navigate all the games in the place. We have two children under 5 and they both were having a good time, that is until the youngest got sleepy. Overall a 5 star experience. We will be back!

We were there last Saturday and the gaming tech Jason was amazing!!! He was so helpful and friendly to my kids, and didn't get annoyed by my neurodivergent teenager who asked him everything and kept bothering him, she even left her card laying on a game and someone took it so he helped go get her card transferred to a new card w all her tickets and money on it. I love how friendly he was and made everyone feel comfortable and was so helpful when games went down.

Had a great time at Dave & Buster?s! The atmosphere was fun and there were tons of games to choose from. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Shout out to Jason keeping the machines running smoothly. Definitely a solid spot for a night out with friends or kids.

Food was very good, waiter was extremely nice. Girlfriend definitely liked the waiter but unfortunately he was not on the menu. We had a lot of fun playing the games as well and it created a very memorable experience.

Just got back from taking our family here for the first time. Our three boys have been wanting to try it since opening. We had a great time! Service was really friendly, food was great, and there was a good variety of games. While we were playing, the games manager Jason came out to check on us and find out if there was anything they could do to get better. Love seeing a new business in Bloomington with management already focused on improvement. It was a really good couple hours of fun for the family.

I was out on a date with my girlfriend and we had a blast at Dave and Busters! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Jason, one of the game techs, helped us out on which games to play for the most tickets and made our night even more enjoyable. Definitely will be coming back soon!

Oh my gosh I loved coming here with my friends for a nice little fun adventure. The food was spectacular and the drink menu was magnificent. But what made the experience so much better was the Game Tech, Jason he was by far the highlight of the trip by making our fast and furious game that much more thrilling and he killed it in the service area. Fantastic is how I would describe the visit in one word. Absolutely Divine.

One of my friends celebrated his birthday here. Alex was a great manager/waiter; he is a very nice person. All of the servers were extremely helpful. $20 gets you dinner and 53 tokens at the arcade which is 6-8 games. Pretty great evening if you ask me.

Family of 5 we came to eat and play. Our server, Ryli, was fantastic. Her recommendations on ordering and gaming was very helpful and her drink suggestions were, all though a little pricey, perfect. Although the gaming area was quite warm we would definitely visit again because of the wonderful service.

Jason went above and beyond to make sure my babies had a good time while we were there! We won lots of prizes and the prizes for tickets weren't too bad either! Then we were seated by the host to eat and was helped very quickly by John! He was very friendly and we got incredible service. We will most definitely be coming back ??

I think Dave and Buster's has improved dramatically since I've been to one a couple of years ago. The games are a little high, but they do have it on Wednesday where it's half off on games. The desserts are excellent and pretty to look at.. They have new cocktails and new food. I had the fried pickles as an appetizer. Delicious . Service was slow

Jason made this experience a one of a time! This place will show you what Dave and Busters is truly about! My girlfriend and I came and had a blast. We will 100% return and highly recommend the angry birds coin game. Jason, once again thanks for everything!

Disappointing Service, Decent Food, and an Expensive Arcade I was excited to try the new Dave & Buster's location in Bloomington, IN, with my girlfriend the day before Valentine?s Day. Unfortunately, our experience was a mixed bag. The biggest issue was the service?it was abysmal. Our server forgot our drinks multiple times, even after assuring us she would bring them. One mistake is understandable, two isn't great, but four times is just incomprehensible. To make matters worse, the silverware we received

We went for our son?s birthday on a Wednesday. It was the perfect crowd, not too many people so there were no lines. The staff was very accommodating and friendly! Jason was extremely helpful when we were having an issue with a game . Highly recommend for a fun family night.

Our server Hailey was absolutely amazing. She did a great job keeping our drinks full and made sure we had what we needed. Very helpful on food and drink options. She explained how to buy the playing cards and what the best options were.

Our Dave and Busters experience was great! We reserved a party space for 100 people with game cards included, and had a blast. Special shoutout to Jason and Alex for making the night run smoothly. From helping out with the machines to making sure we felt comfortable, those guys were awesome. They even brought one of our attendees an ice cream sundae for her birthday. We would recommend hosting a part at Dave and Busters in Bloomington, IN.

Came in on a Thursday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Got seated then nobody ever came back, not a single table got service for the 20 minutes we were sitting there. Decided to go play games and eat somewhere else. Reported to the manager on duty and their solution was to try and re-seat us. Sorry, no thanks, nobody was getting service and we didn't like our chances. Games were a lot of fun but several that I was interested in were out of order. Will come back but hopefully they can figure out customer

10/10 would recommend for friends and families of all ages! My fiancee and I came around 10 pm because of a busy day so food service wasn't great, kitchen doesn't know how to make a simple burger, BUT Makeyla our waitress was an Amazing and Wonderful Host and When we went to the fun section of the establishment we wanted to give a shout out to Jason who makes our experience there so much better every time we come in. We've been there about 5 or 6 times already and every time we see Jason he's Super Helpful

Had a great time! Good drinks and games. Jason, the game tech was amazing and helped us out as multiple games went out due to a WiFi issue. Truly, he went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time!

The Arcade games are very fun 5/5 stars. However the dining was horribly slow.... we were the only people there and it took an hour to get our food and our appetizers were cold.

SHOUT OUT TO JASON!! Best game tech ever. He let us play fast and furious and unfortunately right before we were about to start, his car on fast and furious stopped working. He said that whoever got first place out of me and my 3 friends, he'd give the 1,000 ticket prize to. I won and it was really fun. Once again, thank you Jason, you made our night!

Air hockey puck was missing, already paid for 2 games, asked for help and was told ?sorry it's been broken all day (there wasn't a sign up) we can't refund the points you spent but you can go buy more up front.? So we asked the hosts up front and they were really helpful, manager found the puck in the machine & offered to pay for our game which was nice of him. The girl who we initially asked for help was working the big game by the entrance and again was kind of unhelpful/rude. We didn't fully understand h

I absolutely LOVE Dave and Busters! The whole place is exceptional. I especially loved Jason?s service!! He was so kind and made my friend and I laugh! He was so helpful. When you go, make sure to see Jason, he is the absolute best!

Wow! Just wow this was probably the best experience at an arcade that I've ever had! Jason and Miracle were so kind and helpful! They did their best to make sure we had an amazing experience! They were just so genuine and kind!

It was awesome dinner, great games my 11yr old had a blast, and good service until their card reader machine broke down after I scanned my card. Went through on my end on my bank app. Manager comes over and says it didn't go through and it should be back on my card the next day, and made me pay a different way again. Next day came nothing, next day nothing 3rd day walked in and a guy Manager really nice helped me but there wasn't much he could do so took my info and said someone would call me. Next day noth

Jason the game tech is absolutely amazing. 100% appreciate how much help and fun he makes the experience. His energy is outstanding and he makes it much more enjoyable to be here. We will be coming back.

We had a great experience here! My sister and I both traveled quite a ways to meet half way, and were very satisfied with our decision! Jason in the arcade made the experience one to remember!

Service was terrible, you're better off just playing the games. Went on a Saturday lunch so I understood it being busy, ended up buying the 20 dollar eat and play deal just to be told there was no way we were getting a table. Front desk people would not help us at all, and told us to sit at the bar for help. Ended up waiting forever until we flagged down a waiter for help since the bartender was already so busy. Food didn't take long to come out once the order was put in, but getting the order put in was th

Jason and Ava were so amazing at the prize desk! And Hailey our server was absolutely awesome-sauce! We will be coming back! We had a great time!

Love having a Dave and Busters close to home! Jason, a manager at the Bloomington one, was super nice and friendly and helped us out! Also, they noticed that one of the claw machines was set to hard and lowered the difficulty so people can have more fun.

We had a disappointing experience at Dave & Buster?s. The staff seemed untrained and couldn't answer basic questions without tracking down a manager. We paid $25 for a 20-minute game that took over 8 minutes just to get set up?definitely not worth the price. The games are very expensive to play, with some costing weird numbers like 7.7 to 16.6 chips each, so you burn through them quickly and end up with odd amounts that can't be used on anything. Food was subpar? even our kids thought it was gross. It also

Amazing Jason was the best! Helped us alot and gave us an amazing experience!

Games were fun had a blast , getting food was made difficult by management. When the food took an hour and a half for boneless wings that really weren't worth eating ,we were able to wash it down with good beer and liquor. Fun games overall

The dinner service was excellent and the environment of the restaurant/play place was on point.

This was one of the best places to host a birthday party or any celebration. I had such a great and positive experience there. Everyone did amazing thank you to Erica for helping me set it up. I had such a wonderful experience and the atmosphere was just delightful!! Definitely looking forward to going there next time.

My coworkers and I came here for a staff bonding night, and we had the best time! Everything here was awesome! Big shoutout to OGT Jason - he made our night even better than it already was! He is such a kind and caring person!

I had the best time tonight! The service was exceptional, the food and drinks were also up to par. Will definitely be back especially because of the experience we had with Jason. He was helpful, patient and provided us with the best experience possible. Will be back to this establishment soon!

Jason was so great and he really made sure we were having a great time the entire time we were there. It was so much fun and I will definitely come back again after this

I did not have food but I had a fantastic time and will go again. Jason was super helpful and gave us some tips on the game we were playing! Great time coming back.

This was my first experience with D&B and I have many thoughts. The process of getting your first card can be daunting and is a little pricey. The food is mediocre, with some highlights i.e. funnel cake fries and cheese stacks (mozz sticks). But where my experience with D&B soared into the stratosphere is with our server MaKayla. She thoroughly explained the Chips and Points system and was very patient with our questions and additions to our order. Like I mentioned, the mediocre food came when the Fires GPT

There was some issues of technology with the tablets but otherwise was great. Jason was great and so helpful. The games were very fun and I will definitely be back.

I have no idea what Tucker B is on, everything was great! The food was good, music was as perfectly loud as would be expected. Staff was helpful and concise (looking at you, Josh), good atmosphere and tons of games to choose from. 5/5 will visit again.

Jason was amazing and continued to check on my family during our time there. He and Liz knocked out a huge line at the prize area with smiles and speed! So happy Bloomington finally got a D and B! Will be back for sure!

Sat down and waited for 15-20min. Moved to the bar to try to get attention. 2 buddies and I went solely for the all-you-can-eat wings on Mon & Thurs. we ordered and then the guy came back and informed us they no longer do that. So we left and spent less and Buffalo Wild Wings for wings and beer. Not going back.

Jason and Xavier were awesome! They were so kind and customer service was great. The drinks were good, place was clean, and games were so fun! Highly recommend!

The waitress overcharged the bill at our table for too many drinks and food. She still couldn't fix it after two hours. The manager who appeared impaired was not able to fix it either saying it's their system not her or the waitress. Our table left overcharged since neither person could rectify a correct bill. The games were fun though. I would not recommend the dining area as the service was mediocre and super slow. I do say the smash burger was delicious though!

All the staff are so kind! They are extremely helpful, too! The entire place is so clean.10/10 I would highly recommend ??

OGT Jason was a key part of our fun experience! Great attitude and he brings a great welcoming atmosphere!

My family and I had the best time visiting the new location. Amazing service, great food and even better service at this establishment. Jason stands out the most as far as experience. He was helpful, understanding and overall a great host to my family and I. We will absolutely be back, planning a trip Monday as we speak!

Great food with a very fair price on our dinner. Enjoyed the games. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The service was so fast our meal made the table before our appetizer.

I have been a couple times now. I think it is improving and all the kinks are getting worked out. I love we have one close. I am hoping they find a way to make things little more affordable. I have spent 350.00 each time I have went with the 7 of us going.

Awesome site! A couple games down but the game tech, Jason, was on it resetting and getting the games back up. Food was awesome, loved our bartenders! Definitely coming back. ??

We met Jason, a game tech a Dave n busters in Bloomington. Awesome dude! Approached us and asked how we were doing and hooked it up with some tickets!!

Game tech Jason was incredibly nice and helped out with all my group. Definitely going back so happy to have this place in Bloomington and have such amazing people running it.

Jason was awesome! Great service, even challenged us in a game which was so fun. Highly recommend:)

Made a reservation for 6 pm on Open Table. Arrived 10 minutes early. The waiting area was packed full of dudes is camo jackets and Nascar hats (fine if that's your thing) with their buddies and/or families. It was chaos. More security than you would expect, suggesting trouble is more likely than it should be. When we checked in they told us they'd call us when our table was ready. I how long that might be since we had a reservation. The woman at the desk said at least an hour to an hour-and-a-half. I asked,

This was my first time here and very well might be my last. Food was good but was very expensive for what you get. Also it was super loud so to talk to someone you had to scream. Service for dinner was terrible. Not to mention everyone?s food did not come out at the same time. And you had to practically hunt your server down to get anything accomplished. Like I said at the beginning I will not be returning.

We ordered 3 entries and two drinks, we also purchased tickets from the server. It's outrageous that the gratuity is added to the ticket cost. We left the lowest tip at 18 percent it was 35$ for a tip for very little food. Service was so bad I had to get silverware from another table and had to track down our server again since we waited 30 minutes for our check. It was one giant rip off at the end of the day. Never again.

We love visiting for half price game night on Wednesdays. Jason is the most wonderful game technician, was very helpful with all of the machines that were played.

Wow... how hard can it be. Ordered 3 appetizer items...got the first 2. Waited and waited on the third. Finally spoke with manager. Apparent mix up and not ordered. Waited again and they brought one of the dishes already delivered. Now waiting again. They comped that item. Glad we weren't in a hurry....SMH.

Jason was very personable and lively. Helped elevate our experience. John the bartender was a hoot

My husband and I visited Dave & Busters for the first time tonight. The food was delicious and Jason made our experience a 10/10. Thank you Jason!

The games were great Jason the game Tech was amazing the waitress got my order wrong the Smash Burgers were really good boneless wings were moderate at best bone-in wings were good

Jason was absolutely the best in helping us around with the games and we had so much fun for a girls day out

Fun place for both adults and children. It provides a fun environment for sports fans with a multitude of tvs for any sports fan. Many great meal options and deals for games make for a fun party place.

Each area of staff was incompetent. Staff asked us to rectify the issue they caused ourselves with the management. Too much friction. If I were from corporate, I'd be shutting down for additional training first. Yikes. Edit - took it down to 1 star based on corporates fake handling of this. Auto-emails pretending to have called, non-answering of call backs or emails. Dave Trevi?o at corporate is a fraud at best. Don't bother, they won't fix anything. The rot starts from The foundation. No wonder the Btown

We didn't have any food but MAN!! What a cool place to play some games with an older, say teenage, child. My kids had a blast and we will be back to try the food soon.

it was alot of fun but definitely check your food bill. the little computer said an 18% tip on a $50 bill was $28. everything was great but i emailed the store to hopefully get some of that back because i definitely wouldn't of voluntarily left that much ??

Great food and lots of fun. Glad Bloomington has something like this! Jason and Xavier were very kind and gave us an amazing experience!!!

OGT Jason was a delight to come across. Service was impeccable and hard to come by. Thank you for making my experience just that much better.

Jason the game technician was the absolute GOAT. He took care of us whenever we had an issue with the games and was super friendly and professional. This man needs a raise!

Amazing environment, great games, and good food! Jason went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time as well.

Jason the manager is the bomb.com and we had an awesome birthday experience. Love Dave and Busters, Bloomington!

I had such a great time at D&B Jason the game tech they have their made it a very memorable experience give that guy a raise

We were sat at a table and sat there for almost 10 minutes and was not served no one came and even took our drink orders they just kept walking past us. We went later on spring break so the place was not busy it was us and 2 other tables. Food was expensive and we ended up leaving and still no one even noticed we had left.

Had a really great time. Server took way longer to come to our table than she should?ve because there was only one other table in there but other than that it was a fun time.

Garbage prices. Ive seen the same games in other arcade for 1/3rd the price. Games are anywhere from 7 to 13 dollars per play. Imagine spending 26$ bucks to pull a lever, and push a button. All for 80 tickets which is enough to get NOTHING at the shop.

We had so much fun playing games as a group! Jason the game tech made our experience the best!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
