Dave & Buster's Barboursville

We drive here from Charleston at least once a month to have some fun family time and dinner. Our family loves the dine and play option and the cantina chicken nachos are AMAZING! We always ask for one of the few booths they have available and they have always been so accommodating of that. Service has always been friendly and quick. They also have a pretty decent selection of arcade games.

My son?s birthday choice was to go to this restaurant so I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't disappointed despite it being a Friday evening our food was brought out quick fast and in a hurry, I recommend the sliders, those are really great. the service was great the food was excellent and everyone in our group was very happy with it all. The game room was entertaining and fun with new games and older one?s I remember from back in the day.

We got here at 6:08, drink orders were quick. But from there all down hill. Our server seemed to be doing her best, but it took1 hour and 30 minutes to get our food, maybe 2 check backs. We came here on a Sunday. We had so much fun. We did have to stand and wait in lines for games. Some We just had to skip all together. I'd like to see more space here if possible. We went on March 19, 2025. Everything is so expensive here. The food is good. The server forgot one of our entr?e and when we asked her about it she said we never ordered it. We ALWAYS order our children's food first. Not to mention after we ordered the entr?e I said to the waitress "I also want that same thing except, I want cajun shrimp". Three trips to this location and the service and food are consistently sub-par. This is clearly a management issue. Last trip our server was trying her hardest to keep up but the food runners and bar were hampering her. Attended my 2 nieces birthday party, they turned 10, double digits. Saturday afternoon on a Thanksgiving weekend, yes they were extremely busy as expected. Our party hostess never showed any signs of being busy, she always had a smile on her face. The food was buffet style and was amazingly hot and satisfying. Party room was easily accessible and we had plenty of room for the invited guests.

I spent $60 on game cards for my kids to play, then sat down at an empty table and started watching the UFC fight. Fifteen minutes later I was told by an employee that I had to move because the tables were for people ordering food only. All the tables in the games section were full and you can't watch TV from there anyway. I was refused a refund for my game cards. They are rude and unprofessional and I won't go back. Too bad zero stars isn't an option.

Already to a bad start. I went in to the restaurant and they would not allow me to bring my own drink into the restaurant so I had to throw it away. Next I ordered the barbacoa fries and there is no meat on my fries and the lemonades aren't free refill. Restaurant is a no go for me and makes me overstimulated with so many TVs and music.

Good selection of games but don't play for tickets after a few visits and dropping nearly $200 dollers all we racked up was 2,336 tickets and all It got us was a shadow box poster worth $13 retail and a tiny plush toy my advice just play a few games don't play for tickets unless you want ripped off.

So far the table service has been sub-par. We've been here two times with a group and two times with just our family of three and have had difficulty getting prompt service. Every visit we've had to flag down staff to take our order, get drink refills, and to finally pay. I'm not saying this happened once over our four visits, I'm saying it happened each of our four visits. The value for the price of food just isn't worth it either.

Went on a monday night with some friends and had a great time. It was our first time going to a dave & busters. The food was a little more pricey than I thought but the wings and cokctails were really good. It wasn't very crowded and there was a big variety of games. Staff aren't very friendly. Was initially lied to by the hostess on available dining room seating. Then once seated, we ordered a kid's meal for our kids. the place is just like every acades modern dream, lights, flashes, sounds and pretty much everything you want from d&b. the food don't get me wrong was pretty delicious but some of the prices can really leave a hole in your wallet, if your going for a good dining experience id recommend going for some of the deals they have. My experience was similar to other reviews for bar service, huge wait for drinks with staff just mingling around. Opening day! The only reason this isn't five stars is because: 1. The Pump It Up machine is offline. Please put it online so rhythm dance players can come spend lots of money by trying beat their high score and area scores. 2. The Pump It Up machine is VERY hard to hear. Please turn it up! 3. The service was horrible the workers basically refused to serve us they sat us at a table and we waited for like 15 minutes and nobody ever came us to take our order all the workers were just at the entrance just in a huddle laughing and talking not paying any attention to the customers we talked to the manager I promise we aren't Karen?s but The manager said he would have someone else take our order but we said no because we didn't want the workers spitting in our food.
