Had fun with my friend who was visiting while in town. The staff were so nice and I loved talking to them. Very pleasant atmosphere. They did mess up one of my partners' order, but they fixed it afterwards and she was very happy with how good the food tasted.
This is a place to dial out of reality as a family for a few hours. Games are fun so the entire family can play or the parents can take a break in the restaurant while the kids play. The service was fantastic and the servers in the restaurant replaced a dish that didn't taste right without question or exception. We really appreciate the help and we will be back!
Grown kids wanted to go. Sounds like a Vegas casino when you walk in. But pleasantly surprised by the food menu. The food was extremely good. Best Caesar salad I've had. Excellent service. And they have Skee Ball! Still too noisy but that can't be helped.
Fun for family and friends. Great new games for 2025. Stop by just to take a peak. Summertime ideas start here. Enjoy community no lie. Also at other state locations more is welcome I have with my family and me. Great job team A ?? place. 10KO
Dave and Busters is such a blast! My kids had so much fun playing all the games they're favorite games were hot wheels and top gun, our server was very attentive and sweet! The drinks from the bar were fire! The food came out hot, fresh, annd delicious! Absolutely loved our experience and we will be sure to be back again!
Felt rushed. Got a bill first before my food. Ended up having to leave! You will be getting a call from corporate Tuesday. No drinks or juice for a baby. What is wrong with you guys?! Horrible place, horrible servers! Might as well make it harder and have an audit on all of you servers!
I came in for dinner they never put it in and after being there for hours I was disrespected by our service staff and barr tender and refused to put in my order of food, over 2 hours spending money of mine they charged me for a beer I never got and food I never got and I tipped 15% by the big bar tender and a guy named Phill so yes I will never go back... I was not drinking or being disrespected by the staff. It's a waste of money especially being disrespected when I was polite Thursday night from 5 somethi
Games are pretty fun. Had a good time in the Arcade, but the food was bad. Ended up with food poisoning. Definitely need to check sanitary standards in the kitchen. Been puking all morning -_
Food was fantastic and we had a great time playing some games
One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Wait staff was okay, but the kitchen just could not get the food out on time or correct. Not the right fries as originally ordered, when they came out they were cold, Burger was not cooked anywhere near a safe temperature despite being asked for medium, and after all that, they even sent out another Burger very raw. Note, both of these burgers were to be eaten by children under 12. The first was eaten some, the other we refused to let be touched; we cut it
Went in late afternoon. Overall, not bad if you're looking for a big and loud place where you don't have to interact with anyone. Typical game bar atmosphere - lots of noise coming off of numerous TV screens all around the restaurant plus the noise coming from the gaming area next to the restaurant. Service was a bit slow and the food was so-so. I ordered salmon and the sauce was on a saltier side. The rice that came with my dish was very sticky, which I don't think it's supposed to be sticky. Again, not
Hello, this is not really a complaint more of a suggestion? while scrolling through the app. I saw the notification of being able to get a winter pass. I got very excited about this because as a single mother of two children living in Alaska, it is difficult at times to find things fun for us to do indoors. When I went to inquire about it, Anchorage, Alaska is not one of the participating states. It's normally a VERY special day when we get to go to Dave & Buster?s because for my budget, it is a little bit
I have traveled all over the United States and the Dave & Buster?s in Anchorage truly has a greater level of service than you could possibly expect. Our waitress and even the manager, Iris, provided great service and they went above and beyond accommodating the special needs I had for my family.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. FOOD IS LOW QUALITY SERVERS ARE SLOW AND DONT NOTICE YOU. so unprofessional they are so unorganized. Don't know what their doing until they really have to be serious about something.
We went there for the food and left after taking pictures at the Photo Booth. Has really good food and it's not all greasy like you'd expect. They cater to older demographic pretty well.
I have been here over 4 different occasions. Had the food there 3/4 times. I highly recommend the giant pretzel with beer cheese! It's delicious! As well as their stuffed churros for dessert. My kids and hubby both enjoy playing the games. They have a good variety for all ages! Good family fun or date night occasion!
Super Awesome!! We love the 4 player Super Mario Kart! Dave's double cheeseburger is really good. Our server Chris B, was very professional and did a good job handling multiple tables. The manager and other employees, were constantly making sure we had everything we need????
False advertisement, they sell you season passes and they say they are unlimited but they are extremely limited. The gold pass is $100 for the season and you can only play one type of games with the pass and they dont tell you untill you've used the game tokens.
Sooooo much fun! Perfect place for everyone to enjoy, kids and adults! It is very pricy though, but we all had a blast!!!
Definitely one of the best places in Alaska to drink and have fun with friends. They have a ton of TVs and has a wide assortment of alcohol. The games might be a little pricey however you pay for the experience not the games. The prices are worth it though they have some great items such as PlayStations and Nintendo switches. the bar food isn't half bad as well
It is fun place.. Like having Vegas in Alaska with games, food and drinks. Little too loud, level was over 80db so table conversations were not that fun. Getting table and food took a while and I understand they were short on staff. Food is good value if you buy token card with the meal. We had fun and will come again... but we may have a meal somewhere else.
Sit here and wait what feels like forever just decided to get an appetizer chips and queso it came out cold and chips was on the stale side service was horrible do not recommend coming here to eat at all maybe to play a few games but this place to eat was not it.
We stopped in for a few drinks and games. You are not allowed to bring your drinks out of the bare area at this location. It kind of killed the fun.
Spent a night here on vacation with the family and had so much fun. Hawaiian chicken sandwich was great. Good fries. Kids Mac n Cheese was basically boxed Kraft, so not worth the money. Service was good enough. Staff safely stored our backpacks for free. Games were almost all functioning correctly. Maybe two that weren't. You're going to spend some money, but it's family fun.
Nothing too fancy. Clean and friendly staffs. Ok Arcade, not that many games available and claw machines are harder to win than elsewhere, but good enough place to spend sometime with kids. Unfortunately the place reeks of marijuana as well :(
Went there this past weekend for birthday dinner and fun and let me start? i called days prior to reserve a table the manager explained what she would recommend cause it's not exactly a reserve list went the day of did exactly that within a hour table was ready i was able to set up the decorations our host Alyssa was the best for a part of 16 we had 0 complaints food arrived in a timely manner drinks were bomb stayed on top of refills it was great the kids played afterwards it was really great great prices
My family and I come here at least once per week. Every time we go, the staff is amazing, especially Austin. No restaurant is perfect, so when there was an issue, Austin remedied the situation professionally and courteously. Mercedes is a rock star too!!
Unfortunate compared to dave and busters from other states that you can't take drinks around to play the games. Still decent food although a bit generic, and nice that you can just pay for it with tickets, but the drinks are pricey.
I'm not one to usually give such poor reviews but I feel its important for future visitors to have a heads up. Time of visit: Saturday 4:30-8:00pm. 4 people in party. GAMES - good time - definitely a lot of little kids running around- No drinks allowed outside the dining area. Fun Prizes DINING - Slow Service - We ordered drinks, entrees and desserts. It took 2+ hours!! I finally just asked for my dessert to be brought out in a to-go container because it was taking so long & we had already paid. Food wasn't
Came here to get a late night bite to eat, but every time I come here the service is utterly horrible! The staff is extremely rude and will find any reason to kick you out unless you're constantly ordering more overpriced food. Just today I was nonchalantly bickering about the exorbitant prices on the menu with the waitress, she agrees tells me things are "out of control nowadays". I presume to finish my burger (which was really good btw was thinking about tipping well) and the waitress returns with manager
Service was a little long. Fries were too salty, and the burger bun was too hard. Food was warm, could of been hot. Kids loved playing the games though!
Worst experience. Me and my friends went and we all ordered chicken tender meals for one the fries were way to salted and the chicken tenders were a joke hardly any chicken and very dry. When I tried calling the manager which I did she explained there's nothing I can do as you didn't asked or a manager in the beginning or mentioned it to our server's. " which we did by the way because our server noticed right off the bat that our two gentleman didn't even eat their food because the chicken stripes were ver
By far the best Burger Ive had yet. And I search high and low for the best including many of the new gourmet burger connoisseurs restaurants. "Dave & Busters" burgers are even better than my old favorites of Gwennies and Arctic Roadrunner. The service is better than most places as well. The hostess and two servers conducted themselves more like a Fine Dining establishment. than a burger joint. I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon for a burger. And next I'm going to check out some of their other
Great atmosphere! Friendly and helpful service! OMG the chicken sandwhich was delightfully delicious!!! I will be back for that alone! Now the games, super friendly staff, we were short 40 tickets and the wonderful ladie at the counter covered it, made my sons entire week! We will be back!!
Id say overall great place to chill with friends. The only issue ive had is sometimes things will be out of order and just a bumber to not try out also kids gotta get kicked out at some point it be passed midnight and i still gotta worry about em runnin around yelling and screaming and hogging the games.
01/22 First off, drinks where on point. Not over powered and good flavor. App was amazing. Stickies ribs get them. How ever Burger was over cooked asked for mid-rare it came out well done. French dip was missing an ingredient it was sposed to come with pork and did not. Over all management was understanding and remade my burger. 3/11/22 Decided to give them another chance. Came back to some of the best service I've ever received. Our server let us know right up front how busy it was. After taking our d
Surprisingly, all of the game machines work! No shade. I'm used to having a majority of the machines not working at locations in other states.
Very loud, maybe have a sensory day? I felt overwhelmed with the lights and every game sound trying to fight with every other. I know that's the point, just not my thing. Staff seemed happy enough and extremely busy, hopefully they have some down time. I only saw one group of employees who seemed to be going about something with ease and taking their time. Food was passable. Definitely getting near chain fast food level. The bang bang chicken in particular stuck out at me. Not sure if it was prepared correc
We are from out of town, and was our first time experiencing this place. We went mainly for the games lol, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food we received. The atmosphere was awesome in the food area and gaming area. Every time we visit Anchorage we will definitely be coming back. Family fun and delicious food?.that's hard to beat!! Thank you!
Their menu changed recently, now offering a fraction of what they had in the past. The prices have become absurd, and the portions are an absolute joke. Pictured is my $14 chicken strips. It was 5 bites of chicken. Sorry D&B, I won't be dining here again.
Horrible service in the food section. Pretty clean venue and the games all seemed to operate alright. Point store seemed super outrageous honestly. You'd have to spend an arm and a leg on tickets and then spend 5 hrs playing before winning enough to get any sort of decent prize.
Absolutely a great place to go lots of fun games and prizes to win. Great atmosphere. It's in the diamond mall go check it out.
They have gone downhill in the kitchen. Twice I have ordered their nachos through GrubHub and received a half bag of chips with very little toppings. This last time there was no cheese sauce or jalape?os. Do better or I'll find somewhere else
Wasn't bad for what it is. Not a fan of chain restraint food but dig the service and games, pricey but cleaner and operational
FIRST OF ALL THE FOOD WAS NOT COOKED CORRECTLY AND THE PORTION WERE VERY SMALL I GUESS THATS AN ALASKA THING THE SERVICE WERE EVEN WORSE WE GOT OUR SODAS LIKE 25MINS LATER THEN OUR FOOD LIKE 1 HOUR AFTER THAT AND THEN OUR REFILLS WHERE ON TO GO CUPS AND IT WASN'T EVEN BUSY AT ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED
My kids loves it here, the games and the food. In that order lol my sons are two and one.
Fun place for kids and stuff to do for adults. Great restaurants. My one complaint was there wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom.
It was great! All 3 of my kids had fun and loved the food we got also!
Didn't engage with any staff or eat but the games were fun and the atmosphere wasn't to crowded or sparce. Just needs a DDR machine and I'd be a regular
Celebrated my sister birthday here. Tool 45+ minutes after being seated to get water. Had to get the manager to obra in Silver we're and napkins. My food wasnt great but not terrible. 3 peoples platea in our party came out ice cold. Terrible service.
The waitress was super helpful, and she was a sweetheart. The food was good, except for the French fries. They were way too salty for me. I ordered the triple bacon burger.
We held our company party there, paid 3k. They fed us Costco food. Literally stuff you can get pre prepared at Costco. We won't be going back, and will be warning others not to as well.
We didn't play any games, just had lunch. Yummy food.
Paid 188$ just to get the kids 4 cards with 110 chips each then went for drinks where good but then the nachos came with no cheese I asked the waitress for a side of cheese never came eventually the manager came up and made a rude comment about the right amount cheese.
What the heck, half of the games don't work and just steal your credits, it makes me feel salty and displeased, can we get a refund dang :/
It's great to let your kids play games & enjoy the delicious food & great for birthday party.
Will revisit review after "the newness" wears off. Order of soup and slider burger was brought to the table as a single pulled pork style burger with different fries (so wrong on multiple counts). Was told my original order would be rushed through. Waiter then visited table much later to ask if I wanted a to go box for the item I didn't order and didn't touch, not knowing/recognizing that I had the wrong item AND that my original order had not been "pushed through" - I cancelled my soup at that point. And t
I love the mozzarella sticks and the cheesy bread, it's so good i love the service here and the workers they are all very nice and fun to talk to.
My kiddo and I enjoyed our visit! Wish the shooting game would have I cluded tickets (or at least had a sign to kets us know there weren't any for it). Otherwise, lots of fun!
A hidden secret of Anchorage is the restaurant at Dave and Busters, it's modern American comfort and party foods with some very pretty desserts. And probably some of the best food in the Dimond Mall.
First of all 5 of sat down at a high top in the bar as there was nobody at the host station. Five minutes later someone came and told us we had to go back to the host stand. OK. A few minutes later we got seated at the same table we started. Five minutes later our server showed up (mind you the restaurant was empty). We ordered a couple beers and some wings, 10 minutes later still no beers. The bartender only had 5 people at the bar so no reason for waiting. We finally had to walk out. There's no reaso
Loved the time I spent here for the Super Bowl! Good atmosphere n good food!
The place is great, could be more friendly to the indigenous population, after all we're in alaska. 2 of us got our drinks 1st then the food, after we all got our food the drinks were finally served in the end, not very nice, isn't it normal to serve the drinks 1st?
Too much noise too much lights but what can you say it's D&B lol Can't say too much. I really liked their coleslaw. Their service sucked so bad. I waited 15 mins, didn't even get served on. We ended up leaving without getting served. They were serving them before us and they got there after we did.
The kids had a blast and it was a perfect way for them to hang out post game. Thank you.
Staff is so prompt and understanding!! Had a small issue with a game, talked to the nice lady at the front desk and within two minutes or less an awesome older gentleman came to help!! He quickly knew what to do and after thanking him and he leaves, I had another issue involving the same game and another arcade goer. This issue was completely unrelated and for the kids sake I won't put him on blast but, I had to talk to staff again. We got the new issue sorted out and when It was all said and done they more
Excellent place for kids and adults alike. High tech video games and fun great food! Great for large parties or small get togethers. Memorable.
I think I'm pretty lenient on my reviews, being that I look for 3 things (in no particular order,) good food, good drinks, and good atmosphere. If 1 part lacks, the others can make up for it and change my experience. So, this is where I'm at with D&B
We booked a kids birthday party for 10 guests. Our server, Mercedes was fantastic! She kept a watchful eye on our guests drinks and food. She really was fantastic. The pizza wasn't a hit among the kiddos, but they devoured the fries. My only complaint was that the women's restroom was super gross.
Today 10/14/24 at 3:30pm I went to Dave and Buster's in Anchorage with my wife and coworkers birthday and went to the bar and stood at the hostess desk for 10 minutes while 5 in our party noticed that only 5 people were at the bar and the restaurant was empty. We walked by the hostess that let us stand in front of her, instead of saying we need to let her seat us, let us seat ourselves. Then management came to our table and told us we have to go back to the hostess and be seated. Then we were sat right bac
Lots of space! Clean tables and comfy. Service was great and food was hot and quick. On the floor games are fun and would be a good place for family outing ot game night.
Went out on a date after 9pm on a Friday. The small amount of people made this very fun. I recommend just dropping 50-100 on games and spend your time trying to get as many tickets as possible. Drink and food were good, but came out skow as they are a bit understaffed. We will definetly come back.
Come here often with our family to enjoy some play time. The staff is normally friendly and we are able to enjoy some play time with our children before getting a snack from somewhere in the mall.
I mean, its a Dave & Busters so I wasn't expecting much. Food was alright, nothing special, but the fact we had to wait 45 min to be seated while there was at least 8 FREE tables, was kind of weird. Our server kept pressuring us to leave as soon as I was taking the last sip of my drink, and the place wasn't full and several tables were free. I expected a better and less pressuring customer service.
Came here just to let my kids burn some energy. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves!
Food is not very flavorful. If u like bland it's great; exceptions : The burgers are good though and the fries delicious. Drinks are good. They need to cook their pasta better, too hard in texture and their kids macaroni and cheese looks like soup, way more sauce than macaroni. Wings are good size. The nachos definitely need plenty of improvement
Great fun, you get what you pay for. Kinda expensive but that's to be expected. Come here.fornsome quality fun and good food.
I definitely do not recommend eating here unless you're ready to wait for an hour for your food. The server was nice. My son enjoys the games of course. But yeah, food takes forever and a day.
My teens had a blast here! There was a good variety of your standard arcade games there. FYI: they don't allow any outside food, so you're coming in from the mall, they can hold your leftovers for you, just remember to get them before you leave.
Latin life bowl was best part but bland Asparagus was too buttery Tacos were dry and not fresh at all They forgot my fresh guacamole Very poor won't returb
Always loud and full of energy, there are plenty of games and prizes to look forward to, as well as a bar and dinner, all on the same floor. This is located on the second floor, but there are two separate elevator ?? locations in the mall to help those less mobile enjoy the fun and activities. Great for all ages and interests, with a little of almost everything to satisfy the kid in you.
45 minute wait for a couple of hamburgers, and never got the side dish we ordered and paid for.
Great for kids to play games. Terrible food and service. I'm never eating there again.
It was really fun. I went with my best friend and it really brought my mind off the husband and kids for a while. 10/10 would come back again.
Prizes are okay, but not too much variety. We ended up wasting money on some games because they didn't have any balls to throw. They should check on the games more to make sure they are functioning correctly. We went twice in 8 months, and both times, we only saw one employee for the majority of time we were there - and that was the person working the prices. We recently went to the restaurant and stood at the "wait to be seated" sign for over 5 minutes while the only two employees watched TV at the bar.
We went to have a beer and shoot pool. They need to hold a license for pool. That would have been fine except they also needed two licenses for two beers. The manager refused to walk over and look at it. Then they wouldn't allow us to carry the beer to the pool table. The man also wouldn't carry the beer to the table. It was ridiculous and our hour to shoot pool was running out. I asked for the the manager and she just rolled her eyes and acted very sarcastic.
Was my first time there. Had a blast with my kid for 3 hours. Food was good, games were entertaining, even got some prizes.
Fun place, I would LOVE to visit again for my kids.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
