As a first-timer I was pleasantly surprised. The food, atmosphere and service were great! We're greated right away with a friendly face, treated to good food (try the burger FYI) and there were plenty of games and good distractions to participate in. 10/10 highly recommend and will be back.
We met some friends who were already at the bar. It was not busy for 4pm on a Saturday. After 20 minutes of waiting for a bartender, I finally walked to the end where there was an employee on the outside of the bar. Our bartender was great once we were waited on. The women's bathroom was absolutely horrible. Two stalls were taken, and all the others had unflushed toilets, wet seats and paper products everywhere. I ended up using the family bathroom, which wasn't much better. The door would not lock from the
A First-Time Experience at Dave & Buster?s: Fun for All Ages My recent visit to Dave & Buster?s with my two-year-old daughter was nothing short of a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a family outing. From the moment we walked in, the staff?s attentiveness stood out?every team member we encountered was courteous and quick to assist. My daughter was immediately captivated by the array of games, so much so that I found myself chasing her around as s
I expected fun and exceptional service. I'm really glad I was not late. Really loved the warm welcome and acknowledgement by Deija and the rest of the staff. Pretty Ideal if you ask me. Thanks for the atmosphere and kind words.
Had an amazing time at Dave & Buster?s in Alpharetta! Their new games are a blast, especially The Arena for fast-paced challenges and High-Tech Dart Bay for relaxed fun with cocktails and wings. Perfect spot for a group hangout with both chill vibes and competitive games. Highly recommend checking it out!
I wasn't expecting to enjoy myself so much but it was all because of our wonderful host today! I didn't quite catch his name but he was African American and had light brown eyes. He was extremely courteous to me and my wife and helped is with the immersive gaming Arena. He explained all the games with such patience and information. He was encouraging to both me and my wife and totally made our experience today enjoyable. Thank you so much for your time and dedication to making our day great! I was really h
Honestly, a solid three stars. While the atmosphere is clean and inviting, the games were a bit underwhelming and extremely limited in play-time. I would estimate that most games lasted no longer than 30-seconds, which definitely interrupted the flow and the pace at which one can play. Construction is currently underway on a portion of the indoor play area and we didn't try any of the food but I don't see myself returning due to limited time constraint on many of the games.
Our server was great to be taking care of 10 adults and 3 kids. The most upsetting part was to see the manager and other staff not helping him with refilling drinks and cleaning off tables. A manager should set the example and be a leader of example! That is what will make customers come back!!!!
Did not get food there. The service we had was getting cards so our granddaughters could play the games. We talked to the manager and she was very helpful in explaining how it all worked. The place was very clean and our girls had a great time. Expect to spend $100 for two kids. Not much there for little kids.
Had a great time. Place was clean and the games were good and all the games we went to worked properly. We didn't eat but the dining area was nice. Talked to some staff members because I had some questions and they were very kind. Bathrooms were huge and also clean. Will definitely come back!
Ann Marie was amazing!! She always smells delightful. Lol. The food was delicious. One of the cooks came out to deliver my food himself. I think his name was Devon. The games were fun as well. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return. Thank you Dave and Busters Alpharetta.
Don't go here. The service was so slow. My husband got the all you can eat wings. It was a joke. They would only bring out a few at a time. Then one time he waited 25 minutes in between plates. Then our $10 appetizer only came with a handful of pickles. He missed out on our kids playing games because he was STILL waiting on wings. Guess their plan worked because he left after just a few plates because he had been there for over an hour. So dumb. If you are going to offer all you can eat then do it right and
Visiting since they opened & hosted a kids party. Prefer to visit when they're not busy and I love it. It's kept clean, staff is nice and the food is tasty. Bartenders are skilled and provide great service. Like everything else prices have gone up but I utilize the coupons and happy hour Another commenter mentioned pool tables. That would be great addition to this location as there aren't any billiards near by.
Our favorite place for family birthdays! Something for everyone on the menu (although I would like a few more vegetarian options). Definitely a bonus if you can recharge your cards in groups of 4 or more.
This location has no business hosting large events. Their contract per corporate, vs what is physically provided are dramatically different. We had one server to help with over a 100+ headcount party. The "unlimited" game cards expired within one hour. **Pick another venue, what their corporate HQ books is not what you receive.
We took our kids to Dave & Buster's for a fun afternoon, and it was an amazing experience! The space was clean, modern, and recently renovated, and it wasn't crowded at all, which was perfect for a Monday afternoon around 1 pm. As our kids were cashing in their tickets, they had quite a few prizes in hand, and Mark came to the rescue with bags to help carry them! We truly appreciated the attentiveness and patience of the staff (AKA Mark) as our kids carefully picked out their prizes in the gift shop. Overal
Fun place to hang out. Crazy expensive, but what do I expect in this day and age!
I haven't been to D&B's for well over five years. My middle schooler wanted to have his birthday ???? party here, and he researched party packages and registered. So my first compliment is their system is so user friendly that a middle schooler can schedule his own party! I was expecting the grimy, dark, dirty, old school Dave and Busters that I remember from years ago, run by incompetent, uninvested teens. Nope! I was wrong! Every single staff member with whom we interacted was friendly, experienced, pr
My friend had a going away party here in the afternoon. Our group didn't know how many people were going to show up. The waitress and staff were amazing and great at accommodating us. Keila was awesome!
My hubby and I had a great time at D&B reminiscing about the old days. It's been a long time since we'd been to a location and this one was new to us. Jeremy, who worked there, was knowledgeable and personable. We saw him help so many people in the game floor and interact with them as if he generally loves his job. That was a big plus for us. We had a few drinks that were also pretty good. Next time we'll try the food, too.
It was our first time ever coming to Dave & Buster?s, Alicia waited on us in the Bar area she was super nice! The food is as good as the other reviews say! We will definitely be back!
I felt like I was at the MGM casino in Vegas. Really big place with huge TV screens. Food was good! Service was great. Lots of fun. No cash just your phone to play. It's as much of a sports bar as an entertainment venue. I recommend it!
I usually don't do review on Dave and busters because we always have a great experience. I'm hoping that this review helps the higher management to do better and get back to cleaner methods. I completely understand that you may be short staff and need help but if someone makes the report that the tables are dirty and there is something dangerous laying around you SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! The pictures speak for themselves! Don't tell me there is someone going around to clean when I haven't seen them and
Compare this DB with Myrtle beach DB?-night and day. This one IS POOR comparably. 3 machines broken?eats your money..no staff to be found?.i had to go to the bar up front to get a living person. The value of points for wins on each machine are CRIMINAL. You spend 50$ per kid and you walk out with garbage from their shop. Yes the kids have fun on some games but most games here in alpharatta were rigged for ending in seconds?not at Myrtle beach though. When we were in Myrtle beach DB..it was awesome?.great po
Don't get conned into buying the winter pass, especially at this location. You have to find someone that can activate your game card every time you come because they won't let the system do it automatically that was OK for me until we had to stand in line 20 minutes and wait because everybody did the same thing. I think it's a scam on the part of Dave & Buster?s and it's intentional. They just want to get your money.
Wide selections of games . Pretty dead on a Thursday which is great for us! We got to bounce from game to game without waiting for anything . Rating 4 stars though cause guitar hero is my favorite game and it was having issues . We didn't want to wait for them to reimburse the points so we just kept on playing .
Went to watch the Ga vs Al, and it's always GO DAWGS!!! ?????? the service was amazing, and very patient. Lived the atmosphere.
Large, super clean and very well designed! Pretty delicious food and the staff is quite friendly as well! Here's the catch, things generally don't seem to be well organized. Receiving drinks and food at the restaurant can excerice your patience a bit and the accuracy of the dishes you receive are hit-&-miss (and you definitely don't want to send anything back, because you'll have to wait again). Also it would be nice to be able to sit in the actual dining area.. At one point, the volume from the tv got tur
This location of Dave and Busters is great! I take the kids here at least once a month. The new renovation looks fantastic. The kids love the games and their app is really easy to use. There is a manager there named Amanda who has always been so kind to me and my family and her excellent customer service has won me as a customer for life!
We visited Dave & Buster?s for a late-night family outing. While we had a great time playing games and exploring the ticket shop where my daughter picked out some prizes, our dining experience was extremely disappointing. After enjoying the Game Center, my daughter insisted we eat there instead of going elsewhere?a decision we quickly regretted. We were seated by a friendly host and told our server, Ericakah, would be with us shortly. It took her 10 minutes to arrive, and unfortunately, the service only we
Super fun place for arcade and video games. Decent restaurant with nice staff. Changing table in women's bathroom and a family restroom too. It's quite loud and dimly lit, so not for everyone, but a great atmosphere for kids or adults out for a good time. Easy parking.
Took my son for his 17th birthday today and he had an amazing time.
We visit D&Bs as we travel, this was in a nice location, clean, very kind staff to help fix broken games, although it was a Friday afternoon it was quite until the bus load from school dropped off a heard of kids?? great location, should check it out. Limited beverage choices (beer wise), don't do the mix while out and about.
Came for my sons 20th birthday and it was horrible. Sat down at table, got drinks, waited 45 minutes to order, ordered food, 1 hr later my one son gets his food the rest of us got nothing . Hardly anyone here eating. Do not go there
FUN !!! I unexpectedly turned into parking lot seeking FUN. I only wish there was an event where it's catered to single mature adults. And I wish the games were not so expensive to play.
Food was pretty good and drinks tasted great. Weak alcohol levels (in my opinion), but taste made up for it. I highly recommend the Drunkin Pumpkin drink! Arcade card readers seem to have an issue with reading app (if you gave a digital card) so I definitely recommend putting your tokens on a physical card. Some of the arcades pulled my credits abd didn't give me the play. So I definitely think some maintenance is due. Especially on the shooters. All-in-all I had a good time. Not sure if I'd drive that for
It's the bigger of the three Dave and Busters in our area. It's huge and offers a lot just unfortunately not a lot of deals on Saturdays. Had a great time there. Will definitely recommend and return to it.
Good unit, good food. Chicken fingers are still outstanding. Service is good. Great games, clean unit! Excellent staff! UPDATE This unit is completely redone! Treat your friends and family to the new games and comfortable areas in this unit! Excellent management and staff!
We didn't eat so I won't rate the food or service, but we always have a good time playing games. This location has been remodeled since my last visit and I like the new layout.
Great place to have a great time with friends and family. Food is good drinks are good, if your kids like arcade games this is the best place.
Visited while on a vacation. Came in very late for food after a failed attempt to get food at Buffalo Wild Wings. Was greeted and seated almost immediately upon approaching the dining area. Food was great (Grande Cantina Nachos). It may have been late but they did not slack on quality in our case. Service was a God send compared to Buffalo Wild Wings, shoutouts to Julian. I don't normally think of Dave and Buster's when considering places to eat, but I will now.
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The food was really good. We were pleasantly surprised. Will visit again. Great for parties. They had different spacing for various group sizes including private rooms.
I give it 4 stars just because it wasn't as big as the others I have been too. And you can see the game floor from where your dining at. Other than that service was awesome as well as the food. We dined in here on June 17th the day before father's day. My husband and I will return. The ribs weren't that good to me either only because of the sauce. It was a bold flavor that I didn't care for but the texture was perfect. This dish was tasty overall.
Fun place for kids. However, they need to do better job cleaning and maintenance. Some machines are malfunctioning, such as balls missing at some basketball station, and throwing rings aren't coming out. Machine doesn't recognize the first time, so I had to swipe twice, and it force to make me play the machine twice in a row. Some of the handles are sticky. Kids had fun regardless. Food is surprisingly decent ??
My wife and I drive past this place every weekend and never thought about sitting down and eating. So, we have it a try and man was I surprised. You order using your phone but our server we had was GREAT. Huge shout out to AnneMarie. She was on point with everything and had a great personality. The food wasn't bad at all which I was extremely surprised about. We will most definitely be back.
Love this place. The games are fun and so addicting at all times. I went with my wife and another couple and we could not stop playing. Food was good too. The only reason I gave this location 3 stars was because the size of this location and the service we experienced at the restaurant. It was probably the slowest ever. It took them a good while to bring us our food. Things got so bad one time that we had to walk to the hostess to ask for silverwares. D&B on pleasant hill is MUCH better.
3:36pm I am walking out of here incredibly dissatisfied. Three games I attempted to engage in had mechanical issues preventing me from enjoying myself. The overall game options felt skewed towards young children. This location decided it was a good idea to utilize a chunk of their square footage for gimmick attractions that offered limited excitement. When I tried to go have a drink at the bar, I was left sitting there for about 20 minutes with no interaction from staff. I locked eyes with three employees
We have always loved us some Dave and Busters...this location is the best!! All the best and latest games... super modern and updated. We LOVE it! ? The food is great and we had such a fun time!
Dave and busters is a great place for the kids! I believe they need to hire more staff, one star because my 6 year old did not receive her meal and 3 others finished eating already and she was still sitting there waiting for a cheese quesadilla at least 30min. Did not really like the Asian tortillas, too much salt and no flavor if that's makes since.
It was so chill and super clean! The restaurant service was delightful. The restrooms were also very nice.
I come here with my kids all the time. It's a nice Dave and Buster's with a big bar, dining area and game area. No bowling or Laser Tag here, but it's a great time. I've come with my kids and also done a guys night here and it's always a good time. The bartenders are all awesome and the food is great!
In town in Alpharetta for a medical appointment, was close to the hotel so we decided to run over for dinner. I realize I was not at a Michelin Star restaurant but the service was mediocre at best . I actually had to get up and look around because I was out of tea after observing our server wander off into the gaming area . The food was about par for this type of establishment and the hostess was above average. I realize it is 2 days to Christmas but come on people
Fantastic food options, drinks and games. The place truly holds good for office party. Plenty of options and good range of selections on the gifts to buy from game tickets.
The games and the food are great. We were having some issues with a guitar hero controller but Jeremy came in clutch and repaired it. He humbled me on guitar hero but now I know I must train so I can defeat him in the future.
Horrible service, horrible food. First, walked in on a Friday night, it was pretty dead....should've been the first sign. When the hostess finally came to her stand, it was like we were bothering her. Our server was nice but the food was horrible. It took quite a while to get an appetizer & 2 kids meals(again they were not busy at all)....food was not hot, it was dried out, just gross. We won't be back.
Dave & Buster?s - A Family Favorite! We absolutely love the newly renovated Dave & Buster?s! The place looks spacious and, more importantly, incredibly clean. Our boys always have a blast here, and it's a relief for us, especially with a child who has allergies. The clearly marked allergen menu allows us to enjoy tasty bites without any worry. The happy hour is a fantastic bonus, giving parents a chance to chill while the kids are having a great time on their own. Highly recommend for a fun family outing!
Awesome way to celebrate the New Year family style! The food was great, fantastic games and this place was not crowded whatsoever. Social distancing at its best with the VIP feel ?? Happy New Year! ????
If you want the place to yourself, go on a Monday. Our kids had an absolute blast as we celebrated our child's birthday on a school night. They were understaffed because it was a Monday, but we totally understood, and it was worth it. Amanda and her manager were awesome. Amanda was friendly, kind, and worked as fast as she could, all while having an injured leg. Thank you, Amanda, for being so patient and kind.
Food is great! The staff from the reception all the way to the tables are very accommodating. Place is clean and vibrant. Will definitely come back from time to time.
Amazing service. We love this place. Great food drinks and a fun time! Alpharetta is the best location to visit!!
This is one of the best gaming place to hang with family and friends. I like the place to spent couple of hours with my family. If you feel bored then it might be good place to visit.
Went here for my birthday with my wife and I understand construction work but they had several games that would take your credits and not let you play and everything felt crowded. It was fun and I had a blast. I haven't tried their food so I can't speak for that. And the atmosphere the workers made you feel like you should serve yourself.
We had a ball!!! And the Manager was amazing, he was working bcuz we went on the weekday & there was only one cook. He went above & beyond for our MHFV SUPER WOMEN!!
It was fun. More crowded than usual. I think because of graduation. Food was great! Our server was really nice. Not a bad experience
I came here on a Monday and the service was great. Mira at the bar gave us great service and was very friendly despite her being very busy.
I had an experience with Jeremy, James, and Ken. Ken greeted myself, wife , and my 5yr old with a smile and warm welcome. They were all very knowledgeable about the questions I had, and showed love and cared about our time. On a scale of 1-10, I give these guys a 12! Definitely recommended this D&B and will definitely be back!
We had an awesome time at Dave & Busters in Alpharetta. Our service was amazing and the food was great. Love me some wings!
Had a great time out with friends for the super bowl. the food was mediocre, but the service was top notch.Overall, we had a pretty good experience.
We hosted our company family fun day at Dave & Buster's Alpharetta on a Sunday afternoon. We rented out the Sports Lounge for our group of 125. The entire staff was very outgoing, attentive and responsive to my group from start to finish. Working with Jason the GM, Amanda, Anna Maria and all the staff there were a dream to work with from start to finish. Everyone had a wonderful time together. It would have been lovely to have more TVs for the sports enthusiasts, but we know that is not under the store's co
I assume this place is relatively new, regardless very nice, spacious, very clean, plenty of screens for all your sporting events, food is good, drinks are amazing, see my guy jordan, best bartender I have experienced, I recommend happy hour, it's quiet and drinks are half off, kids can play while you have a drink or 2
Had a real good time on Christmas eve. It wasn't too crowded as I expected but my kid bad a real good time. Food was delicious and so were the drinks. A good collection of gifts for the tickets you redeem. I would definitely return back at this venue
Had a fun time with friends! Food and drinks are nice as well. Jeremy is nice, he helped us when games are broken. He is also nice to play games with!
I had a great time here at this location. The steak was full of flavor, and seasoned to perfection. The steak, shrimp, and lobster pasta needed more seasoning. But everything was good even the service.
Didn't want to give less than 5 stars. Everything was nice. Place was clean, the food was good and staff was friendly. But we went cause a friend said they had a bowling alley and pool tables......they did not. Guess we went to the wrong location ??
If I could give negative stars, I would solely related to one bartender. My wife and I went to this location on November 16th. A younger bartender took our drink orders and was very pleasant to interact with. After a day of gaming, we returned to the bar around 1:30pm to close out our tab. We were approached by a middle-aged African-American woman with medium length locks. My wife and I sat at the bar and waited for the bartender to approach us, once she came over and asked what we wanted, my wife requested
This place was a bit much. I've been to other Dave and busters but they're never this hectic and chaotic. A lot of the machines were broken and with only one maintenence guy. It just wasn't as enjoyable as it could've been.
This location was very good. It had a nice food selection and of course the games are always fun for all ages. Be prepared to spend more on the games then on the food lol. I have always enjoyed Dave & Buster's in the several states I have visited D&B at. I highly recommend.
The food was okay. the service is super slow. However, I enjoyed playing the games with the kids
Really good food. It's hard to figure out if you seat yourself, or get served. They have a staff member there, but it's often hard to find them. Once you've made contact, they are great.
Way too many games broken... either letting you know out of service or after swapping your card you realize it doea not work fully, or at all... Pictures of todays disappointments...
Went to watch the game and have dinner. The club sandwich was delicious and the service was great. Ended up venturing to the arcade and met Jeremy, a really helpful technician. His name tag was quite accurate he did love fun and games. 10/10 would recommend.
Nice for the kids. It appears there is slot of games but its a bit deceiving It's nothing to spend $40 before buying food buy the kids have a great time! We went to the one in Alpharetta.
very bad experience The place was not busy and after waiting at the table we looked for someone to serve us and the waitress Desjia who served us was very rude.
Basic Dave & busters, but overall a good restaurant area. The best part is the service here we received from Lebon. He took great care of us and ensured we had a great gaming experience.
Had a good time here during our company's team building event. Once location and very attentive staff. All of the games were in good working order and clean, which is a bonus. Food was good and the drinks were prepared well. I would like a better beer selection for my tastes, but they do have a beer for most everyone.
This particular location has amazing customer service. We did a birthday party here and they were so willing to work within our budget, and take away things we did or didn't need, as well as providing great customer service throughout hosting our party here. Also when you're the birthday person you get an unlimited band that you can use all day long. Not only did the representative make sure that everything was handled but so did the general manager of this particular location. I cannot say enough good thin
We love Dave and Buster?s! Such a great place to eat and hang out!
Didn't eat here, but there are so many games to choose from, and the atmosphere is amazing. Went on a Monday afternoon and it was empty! Perfect time to go to play all games. Some of the machines probably need to be cleaned a bit better but, I'd definitely go again.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
