Reviews Summary

Most reviews highlight Dave & Buster's as a fun, family-friendly venue with a wide variety of arcade games, though some find the ticket-to-prize ratio stingy. Had a great time here on 1/30/25! **Most important tip is to download the D&B app ahead of time if you care about extras! (Think play points and free food!) Our first time at a D&B! Literally every game except 1 was in order and they were actively working on it. The games are modern and for all ages (6+) the ticket redemption center is one of the better ones I've seen. Plenty of ?prizes? for children and adults! The arcade area was all very clean and there are tables throughout to set your drinks. The sit

Always an absolute blast! Kids love it, food is good, service is great and we love watching and playing games. Easy to spend hours here!

I recently visited for the first time with my friends 12 year old son I've watched since he was 4 years old. We entered to an empty host station and had to walk around looking for help to be seated, took quite a while for anyone to get our drink orders, the food was average at best and the waitress never came back around to check on how it was until after we were finished. Now the part that really aggregates me,I bought a game card with his meal for 59.99 it says on the menu 90 minutes unlimited play...but e

1/21/25 This was first time at Dave and Busters and it was a double date. My gf and I had been going to a different restaurant for every letter pf the alphabet and this was D. From the moment we walked in the atmosphere was great. Plenty of parking in the parking lot imo. When we walked in all the employees were helpful and seemed to be in a good mood. Our waitress was very attentive and actually seemed like she wanted to be there. Many servers at different places seem like they are just there cause it'

This was the first time we had ever been to D&B. We decided to take out our 15YO for his birthday with just us. So this whole experience was new to us. The restaurant was amazing. The food was great & the server was amazing. Food was received at a reasonable time. Waitress refilled our drinks in a timely manner & she was just absolutely wonderful. However, when it came to the games, half of them were stealing credits from our game cards. It would take from our credits but not allow us to play the games. T

I've been several times and I'm just not thrilled with the place ????? it takes a million tickets just to get a cheap gift and the games. They could use a new selection of games... ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY DO YOU NOT PUT PRICES ON YOUR MENU FOR YOUR ALCOHOLIC DRINKS....??? IF I HAVE TO ASK THE PRICE THAT MEANS YOU CAN CHANGE IT WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT AND THAT DOESN'T REASSURE ME THAT I'M GOING TO GET MY BUNNY'S WORTH ????... And a bigger selection menu would be nice. At least adult meals, not so man

Food came out a little slow for what we ordered. Everything was served hot and tasted well. The server was nice and efficient. Large selection of games and extended play time could get expensive. Overall a good experience and I would return.

First, I've been coming to the Greenwood Indiana location for a while now. I come here because it's the perfect place to watch PPV fights. You can't really go anywhere else and have an extra large screen like they have. It's just perfect. The food here is absolutely delicious. No problem there. On the night of October 13, 2024, my experience here was not the best. When I got seated, it took about 15 minutes before I was asked if I needed any service. I can see if the place was extra busy, but it was really

My partner and I were there the other day and we had a really great service from the waitress. I can't remember her name, but she was amazing. When I believe the manager came to our table, she just didn't look like she was put well together if you know what I mean like she kind of smelled and and being a manager, you should have good hygiene. It just doesn't look good for restaurant. Other than that, we had an amazing time and the food was really good and the games are super fun!

Visited this location recently with the wife for dinner, drinks & some games of course! The food was ok, overpriced for what you get but it was fresh. The server was very kind! The drinks were in my opinion, poured too lightly. From reading past reviews, I noticed other people made similar comments about the food & drinks. I do however recommend the fries if you're just wanting something to snack on while you're drinking. The games are great, but know that you're paying for the experience itself. Next time,

My best friend and I took her two sons and my two nieces, ages 8 - 16 for food and fun. Everyone had a great time. 350 chips kept the six of us busy for an hour. We all had fun. Look forward to doing it again in the future.

Food was the only saving grace. The server spilled a drink on my wife, didnt put my kids food in, forgot an appetizer and brought us the check before even asking if the food was OK. And then during our meal she and another server not so subtly started gossiping and talking crap about guest and coworkers directly behind our table. After eating we went to load game cards for our kids and my wife was harassed by the kid at the card load counter for not tipping him? Asked to speak with someone twice and was lef

A large area with a lot of different game options and, even when its busy (in the gaming area), it doesn't feel like it. We've visited on weekends and weekdays and have never been disappointed in the gaming experience. Food is phenomenal. I expected mediocre BWW quality food, but we've tried a few different items on the menu now and really liked all of them. Portions are a bit small for the price. We went to D&B yesterday and got food at their restaurant after gaming for a couple hours. We were seated in

Melanie our waitress was amazing. The food and drinks were pretty delicious. The Avocado Club was delicious, the Pepperoni flat bread was great, and the giant pretzel was amazing. The chicken tenders were a slight let down. Definitely order the Hard blueberry lemonade.

I just wanted to give a shout out to our absolutely amazing server Jonah. I mean this when I say I have literally NEVER had better customer service. We made up a table of 9 & 6 of those people were hyped up children. Not only did Jonah take the time to explain how everything worked (it was our 1st time there so he helped us choose everything from our food/drinks, to which gaming cards made sense) but he actually made sure our kids had a blast while we were there. This guy's attitude, service, everything...w

Okay, we all know about the wondrous world of neon lights illuminating the way to the plethora of games just waiting for you to prove your dominance! They're freakin awesome!! But!! What I didn't realize is that they also have a tasty steak option on their very kid friendly menu! Sooo, we had to order it! Plus, since it is such a large portion, we ended up sharing, and each chose a side. 14 Oz Ribeye. 25 day aged steak, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus. 29.95 The steak was very good, I was pleasa

First time at Dave & Buster's in my whole family loved it!! Very fun clean and kid friendly. Lady at the counter was very patient with my kid and myself when we couldn't pick what we wanted and ended up spending cash on things too. Lol She was still kind and patient! Definitely recommend!!!!

Fun, almost nostalgic with some of the games but also had updated ones too. The new food menu is exceptional! Server was top notch! When eating I thought I was at a high end place, but prices are not! Thanks for the fun!

Dave and Busters is really fun. I come here probably once every 3-6 months to play some games and get some good food. I will say it is a little pricey, and they are stingy with how much prizes you can get with your tickets. One time, me and some of my friends came here, and some worker got mad at us because ?we have to have an adult walking around with us if we're under 18.? Overall, I always have a great time playing the arcade games here, the food is really good, and the atmosphere is nice. I definitely r

D&B never disappoints when it come to family fun time. Great time spent with kids and all games works too. For us the food and drinks are amazing and kids love the big daddy chocolate cake so it is a bonus for them.

Great assortment of games and plenty of space (never feels too crowded)! The prize selection changes often and stays very current. The food is also good and offers an excellent value, especially when combined with gameplay purchases.

Food is way overpriced, and portions are small, especially for the appetizers. It tastes good, just know what to expect. Service is good, but not great. Games are kinda what you'd expect.

The food was good. It was a bit overpriced. They had a good selection of mixed drinks. The games were all in working order and there was enough staff working to make the experience enjoyable.

Corporate conference I had to go to and Dave and Busters catered, it was fantastic! They were fully able to pay attention to all 100+ of us, and the place was beautifully ran! Games were all working for us grown adults who played games like teenagers ?? I loved it!

First time in to check it out. Didn't eat but really enjoyed the atmosphere.

This is a fun place to take the family where you can get some decent food, and play games. The burgers and wings are pretty good here. As for the games, you can add tokens to a card and use the card to pay for the games. Also, you can win digital tickets and redeem them for prizes.

When I say it was a wonderful experience that Is an understatement. The drinks are amazing too. I had a dangerous waters island punch. My husband had a backwoods blueberry lemonade. Smiley was our bar tender he was such a cool dude. We appreciate you. Eway was such a great host too. Thank you... Update 7/5/23 we had Boog as our bartender. Her hospitality was out of this world! We will be back.

It's okay. A few good games. A bar and average food. My teens and their friends had a good time.

The food is always great! Had reservations for my son's 16th birthday and the staff did an excellent job accommodating all of our needs. Of course the gamed are always fun and everyone had tickets to cash in for prizes at the end! Great time!

Very expensive arcade, but if you come on a Wednesday its worth it! The games are fun, and a majority of them are skill based as well. Prize area is reasonably priced as well.

Well I don't have a lot of negativity for this place besides how a certain employee about made me loose my appetite and manager thinking I'm a liar about how the individual smelt like garbage. All of our food was good besides the Ceasar avocado salad, was impressed with the cheese sticks and pretzel hot dogs. The fish and chips were even good. I feel bad for the servers, this place has to be way understaffed. This poor girl was taking care of multiple birthday parties and other tables, she had a smile on he

Food is much better than when we ate here a couple years ago. Very expensive to bring the family but it was a couple hours of fun so it was worth it.

Enjoy my time at Dave?s tho it was short. Next time, I'll try to get there early enough to play as many games as I want. This is the perfect place to have some quality time with your family/kids and even date. They have a bar & a nice food menu. Definitely coming back soon.

Had a great meal today. Food was fresh and tasty. Games we're enjoyable, good place for adults and kids.

Awesome place had a blast with my family and will definitely return! I don't think I have ever had a bad experience here. I did not eat food this time but will next time!!!

The kids enjoyed it so that was all we were there for. Never tried the food. The games are all blindingly bright and super loud. I left with a headache. Not my kind of place but it's probably not the place for me.

Went on a Saturday afternoon for first time. I spent $60 for 1 card to share with my son which only took us about 40mins if that to use. Prizes are better than most arcade type places. Bonus they serve margaritas here so kids can play while you drink a margarita(just FYI my husband was driving not me was not drinking and driving with kid after)

Food was fantastic!!! The gaming is kind of crazy in pricing, but well worth the experience. Personally I believe the food alone made the experience, even at 72 for 3 people.

Food was good. Service was OK. The guy running the food in and out of the kitchen smelled really really bad. It really ruined our entire meal. Every time he went past us, we were gagging on the smell. Nobody should be working in a food environment like that. He should?ve been sent home immediately. Will not eat there again.

Great place to go when you want to take the kids to the kid casino. Even a good choice for date night. Lots of games. Flatbread pizza is great.

Food was delicious. Had the all american. Burger was cooked as requested. Fries were perfectly seasoned. The shrimp dip was good with just the right amout of heat. Their mixed drinks were sweet and looked beautiful. Loads of games to play. Jae was super sweet and very helpful and friendly. We were there on a Thursday afternoon so it wasnt to busy which was nice. Not sure how crazy it is on a Friday night. ?? came here for my sisters birthday and they were kind enough to get her a birthday desert. Which was

Fun experience. Good place to go ONCE in a while. Too much is too much. Food???? Well..all I can say is check the pics I've attached, cuz the miniature gummy burger is the BOMB!!!!! ?? ?? ??

Food was pretty decent, waitress kinda sucked, barely seen her. Games were pretty cool but definitely could've been a little more modern games.

Honestly this place is a hidden gem. Has huge TVs for watching your favorite sports teams and the food is great.

Over priced but pretty good. Games are on point and the music and food were good. A bit overwhelming with all the flashing lights but overall not bad.

I had a great time playing all of the arcade games. I especially enjoyed the Mario Kart and Halo: Fireteam Raven and basketball! The pricing for Wednesday was a huge plus with the games being discounted half off.

I've eaten here about 6 times now. The food is always excellent! Today I had the Philly Cheesesteak. I put on extra mayo and extra cheese. It was phenomenal. Great job to the cook staff as usual. Secondly, I would like to recognize our server Ciarra. She has been our server several times. Ciarra is polite, friendly, personable and attentive. She's a big reason we like eating here and a real asset to this location. Awesome job Ciarra and the cook staff, you all are fantastic.

The food was amazing. Melt in your mouth, scrumptious, gotta have more type of food. Portions are large, and the Taco Burger is spicy and tasty!

The culinary ARTISTS at Dave and Buster's consistently give me some of the best meals I've had, and each time they top themselves. I've never had a mistaken order, an over cooked meat, or any kind of lapse in sheer magnificent quality. The games are alright.

Took my 9yo for a mom and son day (our 1st time there) and we had a lot of fun! Spent about $150 on dinner and non stop gaming for about 3 hours. Very clean, not crowded, helpful staff, and lots to do! We will definitely be back with the rest of the family!

We had a awesome time here with the kids. They have a huge selection of games to play. We did not eat but it was nice to get a drink and relax while the kids were playing. We will be back.

So FUN!!!! Little pricey, but great time with kids

Overall not bad. Will definitely be coming back (they have my favorite game!!!) but I won't be ordering the cauliflower appetizer, it just wasn't for me. Hawaiian slider delicious, wings on point, best cheeseburger ever according to the 12 yr old, 8 yr old said the spices on the "pigs in a blanket" (can't remember D&B name for them) we're too spicy but she didn't complain until 1/2 way through the last one.

For starters we came her for dinner then games. I ordered a kale ceasar salad with chicken. I thought it looked funny (there was no visible kale) so I asked the waitress, she said it was normal and there was kale in there and that they use a mix. Throughout the salad I did not find a single piece of kale and if anything found an extremely generous amount of croutons. Like more then half my salad was croutons (see picture, which was after i had already ate the salad and half of the croutons at least already)

Being in the service industry myself, a smile is literally the bare minimum of customer service you can provide. Went to celebrate a birthday this past Tuesday and the evening bartender had a nasty attitude. Asked nicely for two waters after we ordered our drinks and she just gave me the side eye and never got them for us. Literally was appalled. Other than that, was a fun time and manager was really sweet and got us a coke after we tracked down literally anyone else to get us a drink.

Had a great time, but I think someone should've been wiping games down on a regular basis. Overall the food was really something to talk about. The ribs were falling off the bone and the chicken fingers went so fast I about fell out. Great place for fun.

This place was awesome! We have never been to a Dave & Buster's and found this along the way to our destination. We popped in and boy am I glad we did. The kids had a great time. I was impressed with the prizes as well! My son loves Squishmellows and was able to use his points to get a pretty big one! If we lived closer we would definitely make it a point to come here again.

Expensive but worth it. Great games, very well maintained, restaurant was great, staff was awesome. Five of us total, 2 adults, 9yo, 4yo and a toddler. All in we spent $300, but that was about $200 on games and $100 for food tips. No alcohol though...it would have been considerably more expensive if we.drank.

Took my girlfriend there for the first time, and the food there was amazing and the games were fun!

Pretty great experience while I was there even with the internet down. Hope thats not common. Wish the music was just a little more quiet.

This was our first time at Dave and Busters. The food was okay, the service was less than desirable. I understand everyone is having a hard time finding staff, however our server repeatedly passed our table without attending to it. I think the food is a bit over priced for the quality. The games are similar to Chuckie Cheese, only there's games for adults. Be prepared to spend 50$ or more per person.

Family and had a real good time. Now that we're members, we have extra points and discounts that do stretch the experience. The walking dead bow shooting game is one of my favorites, lol. One of the games did mess up, and they were quick to send a repair guy out, and he gave us two free games, so the service was great. Didn't eat there. Bathrooms were mostly clean.

I love Dave and busters it's been a fav for my family for 2 years. We always get a $100 gift card play and enjoy dinner but this trip today was a let down. They've changed quite a few games and the menu. Pasta for $18 was only 1/4 of the plate.

Sam was AMAZING!!! Super helpful, went out of her way to help us get what we needed, by far the BEST service we've ever received at any Dave and Busters so far!!! Thank you!

The games and food were great!! The service could have been better

The food is so good. The menu changes pretty regularly so its seriously always exciting to eat there!

Unfortunately even though the server was nice we waited over 30 minutes for a hamburger and when we asked about it ( we were sitting at a bar top) she said oh yes it's coming and being a server myself watched her go to the computer and ring it in so she had forgotten about it and it came out within 10 minutes, we were with family and couldn't participate in anything while waiting for the food

Great experience, very excellent food. Made for a fun event venue, but man that hunting game is rigged.

They catered our Christmas party, along with providing a team building activity. I had no idea that Dave& Buster's had this kind of capability, and they did it well, both the food and the team building.

Service it's outrageous, we waited for more than 50 minutes to get our food, server seems overwhelmed and distracted, I didn't enjoy the fact, not an apologize or anything. I am taking my business to another place.

My 11 year old was invited to a birthday party so my husband, 13 year old & I bought a $100 game card to share between us and had a blast for a couple of hours! We didn't purchase any food/drinks but we won a bunch of ?tickets? and had quality prizes to chose from!??

The food was surprisingly good and well priced. I had some kind of chicken parm that sat on a bed of alfredo noodles. There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The chicken was well seasoned and soft (I have had a lot of abused, chewy chicken parm at other places). The alfredo sauce was light and I felt that it really complemented marinara. It probably didnt hurt that I got it for free for the veterans day promotion, but thats also worth mentioning. They gave us a nice meal and also a little bit of mon

Very very fun for the kids, and adults. Fun and very busy. Kids can go play & adults can have some drinks and play as well. We definitely had a blast. We come here often. This time my daughter brought her friend. They both had boneless wings. They both said they like them. One was dry rub and the other was wet wings. Great atmosphere and we had a friendly kind waitress. She was amazing and patient. They were so so busy. This place is kinda pricey. Food and games. You can walk out spending 200$ very very

Hours of fun at a very fairly price! We went over the weekend and it was so fun! A lot of different games and didn't have to wait for them!

Quick, good service. Nice place to relax and watch the game. Bartender was great

Very fun place to spend the day with or without kids! We didn't try the food this time so I can't speak for the food, but the games were fun and they have a ton of options to spend the day on a date night or with your family! Wednesdays is half priced games(again can't speak for the food) so we were able to play quite a few games for a very reasonable price! The prizes are awesome to choose from! Way better of a reward selection than I've seen at some other similar places!!

Friday night was busy, but we never had to wait. Food was fantastic, exceeded our expectations!

The wife and I always love going here. The food here is awesome they have some of the best fish and chips around.

We got cards at the kiosk. Games were fun.

My husband just brought our boys to the arcade for the $10 unlimited game play on black Friday. However, they were not told that there was only select games they could play and any game they played they did not earn points to get for prizes. What is the point of playing the games if you don't earn anything for winning the games. I checked the website and it did not mention any of this.

The service and the food was amazing. The facility was clean and easy to move around which is a major plus for me. My son ordered the all American burger and everyone else eventually ordered chicken strips and one ordered the voodoo pasta. Everyone was pleased.

Food was mediocre. Service was good, but prices on the food and entertainment were ridiculous.

As someone who used to come to D&B quite a bit, it's been extremely disappointing the last 2 times. I need to remember to eat before and come for the games only from now on. Not only have the prices become outrageous, the food is getting worse. My kiddo had a kids pizza (mind you $14 for a personal size and kids drink) and he had me try it because he didn't want anymore (shocker for him) it was absolutely DISGUSTING. I felt terrible he had eaten as much as he did and he said he only did because that's what

This was our first time here. We ordered the Buffalo wings. Let me tell you what..... those things were life changing!!! That blue cheese omgoodness!!! Let me get a bottle of it lol We are not new to wings around town. These were the best we've ever had hands down. Our server was super sweet, patient, and helpful since I'm old school with those QR code thingy's. Our son ate all of his Pizza and that's a rare thing . 10 outta 10- the food was fantastic! Very clean. Games and prizes were pretty sweet too.

Over-priced. I mean look at this dried up carrot. This boi got cut up on thursday and just now made it to my plate on Sunday. Ridiculous. I dont even ever eat the carrots but you're going to serve me a quarter pound of hot wings for $12 and then expect me not to talk about these carrots. Carrots should snap, not bend and peel. Come on guys do better.

Was hesitant to take my grandsons there, but they loved it (6 years old). Clean environment. A bit smaller than others but still I was impressed.

Dave and Busters is a fun place for me and my "grown up" game-loving friends to get together. You get to enjoy all the games without the atmosphere of a kid-centric spot. The food and drinks are remarkably good and the menu is always being improved. Our server - Amaya - was excellent! She gave us the lowdown on her favorite dishes and desserts and everyone was happy - especially when the S'mores Cheesecake arrived.

We all had a blast. Great service and good! Everything was clean and in good working order! Our group has kids from 2 to 12 , they all has a blast!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025!
