Dave and Buster's Lafayette

I made a last minute decision to come to this new location while I was visiting Gulfport, MS from Atlanta. I really enjoyed my time here. I didn't eat but had a lot of fun on the games. I got the high score on some of the retro games in the Pac-Man's Pixel Bash machine. If I ever come to Louisiana again, I'll definitely come back here!

My kids love it here! I do find that the games are a little pricey (be prepared to spend a lot in the arcade) but the games are great and there is something for all ages. It's our go to for a family outing.

Rachel was our server and the bartender's name was Peter. Our service was horrible and the drinks were very weak (lacking alcohol). As we waved our hands in the air to get Rachel's attention she continuously stayed behind the bar with the bartender not acknowledging the attentiveness that was needed. Upon walking in, it was really loud. I could barely hear the hostess. We sat in a booth and waited what seemed like quite a while before we got a waitress. I give a 4 star overall because there was confusion about earning points with purchased food. There was an ad for it but no one but the manager knew anything about it. The food was delicious. Fantastic place for a date night!! Went in for an all-you-can-play for 1HR deal and ate a surprisingly good meal all for less than $50. Games are fun, the energy is great, and the restaurant staff are friendly. One downside is that it is extremely warm on the arcade side with all the games running. My husband and I went to Dave and busters in Lafayette 6/19/25 around 6:30p.m . We sat at the bar. We noticed a foul smell, we asked the bar tender what that smell she stated?our pipes are messed up? we said ok. We Never have any issues at this location. From service to food to games everything is always great and either meet or beat our expectations. Our kids always have a blast. Everything is generally clean even during busy times. We usually get the smash burger!! Always hot and fresh. We will definitely be returning.

This place is what it is. It's a place to take your kids to play games and you can also get a decent meal. The food came out hot, but nothing special. My daughter and I split the appetizer sampler. It was kind of overpriced for what we got. $31 for 3 sliders, 4 wings, and 5 pigs in a blanket. We had fun playing games though. The server we had was very nice. They have a lot of tvs and is a great place to watch a game. As far as food though, average is the word.

It was a absolute great time! ?? Our waitress was so kind to me and my husband toddler boys who themselves are a handfull! I forgot her name but sweet girl, yellow bangs and a flower clip in her hair. Our 10 year old had the day off from school today so we took him here for lunch and to play some video games. We had a lot of fun playing the games;' the money spent on "chips" seem to go a long way playing the games and surprisingly seemed like good value. As far as Dave and Busters locations typically go, I'd say this one is about remarkably average on all fronts. Service was ok, maybe they're a little understaffed for the amount of people. Food isn't that great, I'd recommend eating prior to coming and enjoying some games. Drinks have an unusually large mark up price. It's an experience, but it's probably best to leave this one to the tourist. The food is good but expensive, definitely not casual dining prices. Serves are lovely but wait times are long. There is a lot of noise from the bar area and the game area, which I've always been sat in between the two so there was not much casual conversation going on. I didn't order any food or drinks at my first visit here, I just played in the arcade and it was a blast. Huge range of games from a classic Pac man arcade cabinet, several VR games, lots of racing games and my absolute favorite 4 player Halo shooter. Ordered 2 margaritas at **HAPPY HOUR** Expecting to pay 5 dollars per drink.... 36 DOLLARS for 2 of the smallest margaritas I've ever had. Staff would not fix my tab either. Arcade is fine but stay away from the bar, menu does not display prices and they clearly do not honor the happy hour prices.

While our very own Dave & Buster's Entertainment Center is still in the construction stage, based upon my experiences in several other D & B's, there will be plenty of interests, good food and what should be a safe place for all to forget the cares of the world and simply have fun! No, like anything else good in life, it's not a cheap excursion. The positive side is this can be a great family event.

We played games and then sat down to eat and the other was messed up by cooks not waiter. We just ate it because it had already took too long. The manager came by and asked how was everything and we explained to him and he just said there is no guarantee unless we go back there and tell them every special order. Very fun place to eat drink play and watch. I won a lot of tickets and everything worked great and nothing was malfunctioning. All the games are new and inexpensive. I was with a party. They brought all the food out at once and while my food was not cold some of it was. My food was delicious. My citrus passion was watery and there was no taste of alcohol. This is a place that you take your kiddos and enjoy time together. It is not really a place you would go to enjoy a quality meal. The food is bar food, so it's a hit or a miss. Went on a Tuesday night. It wasn't crowded,which was great. A couple of games weren't online to use but still had a nice selection. Have been twice since they have opened and will be back. Have not tried the food or seinks at this location yet but will be back.

Excellent customer service, Excellent food, Great prices! The Store manager is an absolute dream to work with, the servers are attentive, fun, professional, and definitely deserve raises. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of and satisfied! We've held a few of our company events there and every time we go they level up even more than the last time. Took the kids for a fun hour of game play. Afterwards, we ordered the delicious Cheese Stick Stack appetizer (we had a redemption code). Peter helped us out and went above and beyond. Zero stars! I booked a hotel for 2 days based on the Dave and Busters being close. Big fail! We were in there 20 minutes after being sat and never saw a server on the floor! We walked out and left and spent several hundred elsewhere. This place needs help. How can you have a restaurant of this size with 1 server! They were slow too and it should not have been this way

We went 3/19/24 at 9:30pm for a date night and we had a blast! Our waitress Lace was phenomenal and very attentive! We got the blueberry lemonade cocktail and it was really yummy, but would be even better with a little more blueberry! I like a lot of blueberry tho?? Went Saturday at open, didn't eat there. But spent two hours playing games. It's a bit pricey for my budget, and the game credits system is weird... You can get the same amount of game credits for $30+$6 if you choose to "supercharge" your card(the +$6 is supercharged price), that you would get for a base rate of $50, (which is roughly 300 credits...) Games were fun, though, and the prize room has some really cool stuff. Plenty of "gamble" type games for tickets and a lot of variety of first person shooter

Went with my son it was fun only problem they have is when the machines start counting out tickets u can't ise them until its done and that kills to much time this is something that needs to be fixed other than that had a great time. Did not eat here so not sure on the food

I enjoyed my visit! I reserved a table, so seating was quick, but there was a wait before a waitress came to the table to take our order, but once she got there our waitress was awesome! The food was good! Came out fresh and hot and the strawberry watermelon margarita was awesome. It was loud but I expect an arcade to be I wouldn't expect anything different. Small for a dave and busters. Crowded on a Saturday night. Cool atmosphere. Had to wait in lines for each game kinda killed the mood. Not enough variety on the tvs. Service was alright, seating was limited so we sat at the bar. Clean up staff was not on point there were piles of trash and plates from previous customers everywhere, we had to move some as well just to sit. Not to mention I got a rash on my arms and elbow, I can only assume it was from the bar.

Wonderful place with great food and awesome games. They some of the newest games and entertainment available to play. The trade in area has some of the best products to select from than any other entertainment center in the city and you can earn them very quickly. The staff were extremely nice and quick to take care of you while you ate. The food was a lot better than I thought it would be. My only issue was they didn't have Yuengling available at the bar. This five star reviews is explicitly for Elizabeth Parker the bartender at Dave and Busters. She is so funny and she made some of the best drinks I've ever had. Even if I wasn't going in for the games or for the food I'd come here just to have another Dangerous water made by Elizabeth. She gave me some great game recommendations and let me know what I could eat on the menu with my food intolerances. She definitely made this experience worthwhile even though the prices are kind of high :)

The arcades were awesome, but then we wanted to eat some nachos and getting a table was impossible. Almost all tables were empty, but they made us go through the host, register and wait 15 minutes even though we already had been there playing for an hour already. When we asked for our table after waiting for a while, the host said: ?I need to see all the people that will sit in that table?. After listening to that, we just decided to leave. I don't know why it's so complicated just to sit down and eat.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star review. I had reserved a table for my kid's birthday party. I get there and they told me there were no tables available, didn't matter I had a reservation. Didn't give any estimated time, never apologized, never texted me to give me a table. DO NOT go to this place, they don't care to leave you standing with people coming for your birthday party. They do it on purpose, they want you to go spend money on the games while you "wait" on a table they won't ever give you.

After being seated and placing our order, we waited an hour and a half for our food. The burger tasted like a greasy grill and the wings were dry. The food was extremely over priced for the quality. Our waiters barely checked on us and we had to constantly try to flag her down for basic things. Racist as hell! Definitely in the top 10 WORST restaurants in Lafayette. I asked for a booth because I had my child with me and all the other seating is elevated bar stools and located near the blinding LED big screens. I was told only parties of five or more could use the booths (even though several booths were empty). We sat at the bar table and before our food arrived, separately for two people, they sat a two parties of less than five in the empty booths. Apparently, we aren't the right color for D&B.

Disappointed. Our 20 yo granddaughter wanted to come for her family birthday celebration. We arrived about 2:30 pm and we're told there would be an hour and a half wait. We noticed lots of empty tables but gave our name and number. After walking around watching the others playing the games, I went and sat on the bench by the hostess stand. When we were seated and I ordered a Dr Pepper, I was told they were out of DP. I asked our sweet waitress what else they were out of and she said root beer and lemonade.

The service was atrocious. We asked the bartender, what was on tap and she came back and said "happy hour is at 4." They ran out of french fries and then were going to charge us for fries. Service and food were horrible. Burgers were burnt and the management was extremely rude. Friday December 15th at 10:33PM was my first time going to Dave's and Busters. I wanted to treated my fiance to a nice fun time. Everything was good until we had to sit at the bar and wait for our burnt burgers. I've been waiting 25 years for Lafayette to get a Dave & Buster's. After giving up on the idea that we may ever get one, we finally got our very own. Tonight I took my daughter to check it out. Made reservations for a birthday and received confirmation. That afternoon. We had a few others wanting to join made attempts all day trying to call. 1 number did not work. The other number no one answered. At 1pm I went in to talk about the reservation and were very nice which is a completely different story when we would return. 2/10 experience. The games were fun but cost a lot of points. Some machines took our credits but were broken. The prizes were terrible. I spent 23 dollars for a small octopus plush and rubber bracelet. Everything was over priced. Why was a small candy 200 and up? Absolutely ridiculous. I want a refund.
