Customer Reviews

We had the most incredible experience at Kids Quest at AZ Boardwalk, and we owe it all to the outstanding manager, Matt. From the moment we walked in, he went above and beyond to make sure our 6-year-old son felt welcome, comfortable, and excited to play. Matt took the time to personally greet us, answer our questions, and even showed our son around to help him feel at ease?it's clear he genuinely cares about creating a fun and positive environment for every child who walks through the door. He checked in t

Our family had an excellent time! The arcade was clean, had a nice variety of games at reasonable prices, and Matt the manager was so helpful, engaging, and fun. When our son was a few tickets short of his desired prize Matt challenged him to a face off at the game of his choosing, and rewarded him with the prize when he won. This was above and beyond our expectations!

Oooh this place is so amazing! Definitely worth the price and trip. The game card is free and you load it up with your desired amount. There is an option to pick a preselected amount or if you're on a smaller budget you can add the amount you're comfortable with. We are a family of six and spent a total of $32. I wasn't sure it would last as long as it did but my kids not only played the games they wanted but walked away with some really cool prizes. Again, if you're on a budget it's really worth the price

I have taken my niece and daughters here several times. We love this arcade! The games are fun, and the prizes are higher quality than other arcades. The biggest selling point of this arcade is the amazing staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a fun time. I have been impressed with them every time. I highly recommend recommend this arcade, especially if you have young kids!

I'm honestly am not one to leave reviews, but I need to give a shout out to their manager Matt. He was very personable, attentive, friendly, and made it a cool spot to take our kids! He help add to their awesome day. Thanks again! Nick

First off, I was not asked to leave this review in any way. I am taking time to write this because I was SO impressed with our experience at Cyber Quest. We were on a family vacation with 3 kids and decided to stop in on a Sunday night (12/1/24) to entertain them on our last day. The Manager was engaging with my kids, challenging us to some games; he went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure my kids had a good time. What an incredibly valuable employee you have. My kids are still talking about how nice he was,

We had a great day and experience at the Odysea and Cyber quest after! The manager or perhaps owner (Brian?maybe) either way he and the young girls who worked there were helpful and sweet. The manager there went out of his was to make the day fun and memorable-giving free popsicles to the kids in the arcade at the time and even free little toys. My kids were thrilled. He even helped me beyond my expectation for the vending machine that overcharged my card outside in the courtyard. We had a great day and his

I came to this arcade a few days ago with my kids and we had the BEST time thanks to the owner Nate! We were actually visiting the museum but they closed early so we decided to stop in and I'm glad we did. The games are modern and fair priced. My son had a friendly competitive game of basketball with the owner, after many games my son finally came out with the WIN!!!! Lots of laughs and good memories. They also have amazing prizes unlike some arcades. We definitely will be coming back soon. Get ready Nate,

2 out of 5 games we tried were broken. It's pricey too, and has limited selection. At least the cashier refunded us for the broken machines.

Our family absolutely loves it here and really the biggest part of why we love it here is because Nathan is the best! He's like family. Our kids absolutely adore him and so do we! He makes everyone who walks in immediately feel comfortable and makes you want to go back! Thank you Nathan for all that you do and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Our toddlers love it here! Nathan is phenomenal! He always goes above and beyond to make my family?s experience at Cyber Quest an enjoyable one. Cameron and Sam are also great! They are always very friendly and helpful!

Love this arcade! Very reasonable prices for both the credits and the prizes you can win with tickets. The staff is also super helpful as well.

I've never been here and this young man named Silas made our day he is friendly fun and honestly I love his ability to be genuinely him without apologies. The world can use more of this in customer service. I'm definitely coming back as long as he's here

Awesome Arcade! It has a wide a variety of fun games for all ages. The staff member Nathan made our experience better by being knowledgeable about the games, prizes and even hyping us up on some of the throwing games! Cyber quest is a great addition to the Arizona boardwalk!

We just stopped by Arizona Boardwalk when we were in Phoenix and kids pulled us to Cyber Quest. Going in it looks like a geneic arcade game parlour. But we were really surprised. Although the games were same, the staff was great. They were really making th entire experience kids centric. Kids really enjoyed the place. Nathan, the person who was manning the store, was awesome. The whole evening spent there was worth it.

Nice place small but its still really nice they don't have a lot of food options but the kids had fun and me lol

This is a fantastic family oriented establishment with an extremely knowledgeable and engaged staff. Specifically, Nathan. One of the ticket machines my daughter and I were playing kept breaking down, and who would save us and swoop in to the rescue on multiple occasions? Nathan. This was my first trip to Arizona to meet my daughter for the second time in my life, and this specific Cyber Quest ehanced our experience and truly made this vacation memorable. Thank you!

Thank you Cyberquest Arcade for hosting our party! Nathan and Sam were amazing! They did such a great job taking care of every last detail, and making sure all the guests were having fun throughout the evening! Everyone had such a great time and we can't wait to come back!

Great arcade, it takes a long time to use up your credits so it's a lot of fun, plus the guy at the counter is fun and helpful. Get lots of prizes for your tickets

me and my bf went and it was fun good choices of games for the size. We went to get prizes and Silas was so kind and helpful to us. he had such good vibes :)

Always a fun time here. It's on the smaller side but they have a good variety of new games, everything works, awesome customer service by Nathan, and the amount of tickets to redeem prizes are better than the big arcade places. Definitely a great local spot for us. Thanks and see you again!

Went to this arcade for the first time on Monday. It's a small arcade but don't let that turn you away because it's a really fun arcade and not expensive too. Silas helped us out at the counter. He was friendly and very nice! Thank you for a great time.

We stopped here during our vacation in Scottsdale and my kids loved it! Lots of entertaining games with cool prizes. The team member was super nice to my kids while picking out their prizes. If we're ever in Scottsdale again we're definitely going back.

Smaller arcade but so worth it because the area is super clean with a great selection to choose from and they all work perfectly. Easy to use cards and good prize choices.

We went here today with our family and it was such a great experience! The manager was awesome and he was so great with our kids! They had the best time today!

Very fun! Especially the VR game and the Ball pit game. Staff friendly and patient with kids picking prizes.

Nathan was super nice. Also the vr games were very cool. P.S Nathan should get a raise

fun place for kids its not to big so they cant get lost and the face they have Pokemon in the ticket shop is really good but the staff are not very nice.

Super fun for the kids. Helpful and responsive staff. Clean facility, not too loud.

Silas was very helpful and he made our trip a lot more fun :)

Wow, customer service really sucks!!! Don't be a jerk to people who want to see what your store has to offer!

Incredibly kind staff and fun, kid friendly games

Fun little place with very friendly staff who are patient with children.

I came to cyber quest on me and my girlfriend?s third anniversary and had a terrible time my girlfriend had been there before and she told me she kept winning on this one machine and we went inside to take a look at the machine and it was shut down, which was fine. At first we spent the money to buy a card. We played the claw machine once or twice and as someone who owns their own claw machine and has been playing claw machines almost 2 to 3 times weekly since I was 13 those claw machines were 100% rigged,

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
