Great food and portion sizes. I ordered a $5 side of Caesar Salad and Onion Rings and was surprised how large the portion was. The arcade was a great experience where most games were $0.25-$0.50 each so you could spend a long time there without breaking the bank. There is a ATM and coin change machine which was great. Overall I highly recommend visiting not only for the arcade but also the great food!
Incredible place to visit if you're in or near Baltimore. I came here for their incredible pinball selection, but the food looked awesome and I really hope to come back for it the next time I'm in town. It's such a chill place, all the arcade games are priced super reasonably. Kid friendly, but parents can get a beer or three and have fun too. The place has some cool history too. I think I was told it's been around since the late 70?s, so a lot of the games in the arcade have been there for decades. Can't w
This was a WONDERFUL GEM to come across! We were looking for a great seafood place to dine at before leaving MD and found this place. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the oyster stew which had deliciously large oysters, oysters on the half shell which were a great size and incredibly fresh! We also had the seared ahi tuna seared to perfection and so flavorful! The shrimp and scallop dish with the bread, veggie of the day (Brussels sprouts which were awesome) and baked potato was delicious! As well as the snow
This was my first visit to this restaurant and I will own that it was my mistake going here on Mother's Day. That being said, we were greeted, seated and waited on promptly. When looking over the menu, I saw a notice at the bottom of the menu that said there would be a 3% surcharge on credit card purchases. The friendly waitress verified that this was indeed true and correct. We ordered a dozen of the medium sized male crabs. The price was $100 per dozen of these sized crabs which I assume is about rig
Fun atmosphere for delicious casual seafood. Interacted with five employees on the busy Friday night and every one was eager to help. Love that they have steamed and seared options so you can go healthier if you're avoiding fried foods. All the food was delicious but probably would bring my own crab crackers next time bc the wooden hammer and plastic fork were difficult to get the meat out. Each night of the week has specials to check out, including trivia on Monday and pinball league on Tuesdays.
Food was great. The place is very busy so be ready to wait, at least when I was there at 4pm on a Saturday. The restrooms only accommodate one person at a time, which i had to wait a good minute to use. Difficult place to park, the lot needs to be repainted. I would go back, the food was great.
The crabs were seasoned perfectly and very meaty?we really got our money?s worth. They arrived piping hot. We also tried the crab soup, which was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone craving great crabs!
Sheila was our waitress and I absolutely adore her. She was very attentive and informative on the menu items. I had the waffle fries with crab dip topping and the snow crab legs. 10/10 hands down. The portion sizes were enough for two or three people. I definitely would recommend to all my friends and family.
Had great service. Ordered the crabtowne steamer that had snow crab, shrimp, clams, mussels, oysters, potatoes and corn. Also had their cream of crab soup. Great all around. I went on a weekday so I could get a table. Seating is limited so going late or on the weekend might have a long wait for a seat. Loved the MD themed art all around.
What I ordered was big enough for 2 servings! This is the portion I brought home. It's called Chicken Chesapeake, & the description on the menu is "Grilled chicken topped with crab dip and cheddar cheese over fettuccine and 1 side." (I chose broccoli for the side dish.)
Crabtowne on a Monday evening is just what a hard working couple needed. Our bartender Tanya did an amazing job taking care of us. She made great drinks. She was quick, attentive, made great drinks delivered food and drinks with little wait. We were very pleased with Tanya! Keep up the amazing work. We will visit again!
It is a nice place to eat with your family and friends. It is an old setting and the food is very good if you like sea food, but the best. It Also has a large room for arcade. There are all sorts of Bin-Ball machines and video game machines. The parking is very limited even though there is parking on both sides of the restaurant. I do recommend this restaurant if you are a sea food lover.
Great place with amazing food and friendly staff. The oysters were super fresh and delicious. They have the best fried pickles too. If you love crab soup, the half and half maryland and cream of crab is great.
Excellent! We drove here especially for their Friday Oyster special after picking up our Rental Car at BWI & the food & service totally exceeded our expectations! Atmosphere is retro & has such a fun, welcoming vibe. A happy place for all seafood lovers, that's for sure!! Will definitely be back next time we come to Maryland!
Sheila is amazing! Food was so great and am so excited to play the arcade games! 10/10 will dine again!
On a super hot day my husband and I needed somewhere for great drinks, and great service. Crabtown was the place! Our server Tanya was wonderful! Great drinks and super friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as always too. We will be back!
We were on trip with 14 people and service was prompt. Loved the old fashion arcade, games still $0.25!!! Pinball games $0.50 so for little money you can be entertained yourself while you wait for your food. And the food is so worth the wait! I got crab Mac &cheese skillet and OMG! They weren't stingy with crab, it's rich so little goes long way but I took home yummy leftovers.
The crab legs are cooked to perfection, the drinks were on point, the dessert was super, and the arcade takes you back to the 80s with retro game! It is the perfect date night or family night all in one place.
Shiela did an excellent job, food was delicious! We had the Crab Town Steamer this was excellent enough for two people?s appetite! We were a party of seven. We also order Coconut Ship, Medium size order Blue Crab, fried Jumbo Shrimp and salads. Everyone really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and family time spend here. We are in the area to attend our grand daughter?s graduation. We certainly will be back when we come back to the area. Highly recommend.
A few friends and I try to get over here at least once a week for the lunch special. Sheila has consistently been our waitress and provides top-notch service. We recently went Saturday and enjoyed a special triple. Please, please put the jalape?o coleslaw on your menu permanently. It is an excellent complement to the sliders. We couldn't have enjoyed it anymore than we did. Even though I had to wait a very long time for my steamed crabs, which were also excellent, the restaurant upgraded the size of my cra
We had just flown in from the Midwest, and wanted something ?uniquely Maryland? for lunch. Our party was on the larger side, but the hostesses were incredibly gracious in accommodating us. The food was outstanding?very rich and flavorful, and huge portions! Definitely recommend. Thank you Sheila and team for an epic start to our East Coast adventure!
Food was good, the arcade is cool, but this is the second time we've been here and both times we experienced waitresses that were rude/irritated by having to do their job(refills, questions about menu, etc) and extremely slow service/food. The blonde woman with tattoos was absolutely nasty to my wife when she was deciding what to order.
We rented the back room (Crabetown Too) for a surprise party & it was hands down the easiest party I've ever thrown! The event planner (Ms. Barbara) answered all my questions and helped with food and alcohol choices. On the day of the party, we had a waitress (Angie) in the room with us and she made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was outstanding (especially the potato salad!)! There was so much leftover us & our guests took some home. I highly recommend having a party here!
came by Saturday night with some friends and it was great! We loved the hostess, she had a great personality and was joking with us during our 45 minute wait. we grabbed some drinks and played some games until our table was ready. Our waitress was so great and the food was fast and really good too. The cakes are my favorite part of coming to crabtowne
Great experience. Very helpful staff. Being from an area that eats crabs completely different required education in the local ways. Staff was more than excited to share their way and learn about our way. There is also a vintage arcade attacked to this restaurant. Looks like the entire location is frozen in the 80s. Love It!!
Originally found this place and went to check out the arcade/pinball games. They have a cool selection if you're into that. Decided to get some food and a beer while we were there because hey, seafood and natty boh on draft sounded pretty good. Food was great and the waitress was attentive. Nice menu with a good selection.
I was getting some crabs to go and decided to have a little happy hour drink. It was absolutely delicious and strong...hehe The crabs were a good size and very tasty!
My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered food and drinks. Sheila is an amazing bartender; very friendly and attentive. She works very hard and always has a smile on her face. We love coming here to eat, drink and play games. The food and service is always amazing.
The crab waffle fries are next level. Bring friends, it's so much food! The arcade and trivia make for a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend the peach sangria. Angie provided the best service. We will be back.
Really cool hole-in-the-wall with old school arcade. Amazing food, even better staff. Jayce was so awesome. She took care of us at the same time of dealing with a particularly difficult table. We were in earshot and could hear them giving her a hard time but she handled it like a boss. Will definitely return during our next visit!
Cool little place that has a lot of arcade games to choose from. Pretty affordable as the prices range from .25-.75?. Drinks were also affordable and very strong. Food wasn't great, just okay.. prob wouldn't eat here again but would come back for the old-school arcade and pinball machines.
Fun place to grab something to eat and play some new and retro games, including pinball. Kids and grandkids had a really good time. The shrimp was nice, the hamburgers were as expected. Been back numerous times.
Came in for the first time. The place was crowded and the energy was amazing. The bartender Tanya made the experience even better. She was polite, friendly , quick, and helpful with good suggestions. Overall great service!
You talk about nostalgia! This place put me in my days of "everything is exciting". The food may have been better hot, but I was lost in the experience. Hadn't played Donkey Kong since I don't know when, and the pinball machines...
Oyster Fridays year round, amazing shuck guys! Food is always good and drinks are tasty. Staff are always friendly though some of the younger ones have a permanent look of confusion. Huge game room is also fun when you go with the family. Parking lot is a bit dicey to get in and out of, but there's always spots.
Food is bomb, old school pinball and arcade. Machines are bomb. Some of the best crab dip I've had. On some seasoned waffle fries!
Crabtowne is a unique experience - part diner, part bar, part crab shack, part arcade. A neighborhood hangout and destination mixed up into one place. Friendly, quirky staff fill orders for steamed, raw, and fried seafood of all varieties. Get a table covered in kraft paper and crack blue crab. Grab a bar seat or high top and down a couple of cold ones while you dig into a pile of shrimp and crab dip. The standard Steamer Pot is probably the best deal in seafood you're gonna find in the area - shrimp, musse
My first experi ... . Ambience is fine. I ordered a broiled crab cake sandwich. Had to wait a long time, possibly order not placed correctly (had a new server). Had to take food to go due to wait. Got a single crab cake for $24. It was burnt, small, and a lot of filler. Really pretty terrible. Also forgot to place on a bun. Homemade tartar w minimal flavor. Wanted to come back because cute place, but it s doubtful. I usually only write positive reviews but had to make an exception today.
This place has bad reviews because of the kitchen. Basically, stick to the steamed and raw stuff. Hush puppies ?? shrimp is great. Beyond that, order at your own risk. It's a 50/50 shot you will get edible food.
Plenty of parking. The crabs were good, but would have preferred more seasoning on the crabs. It was very light. The place has 2 bars if you just want a drink. This place has plenty to offer, other then just crabs. We had several sides and all were good. The service was top notch. I really enjoyed the arcade. Most of the games are only 25 cents to play. My only real negative which is not that big is we ordered cake as dessert. I got the Black Forest cake. It was very moist, but was missing that strong c
It was my first time in Glen Burnie and this was highly recommended by a few folks we asked around and here is why you should come by: - The variety of menu options is impressive, and the best part is that the prices are quite reasonable. It's a win-win situation! - They offer unbeatable happy hour deals. Plus, if you're a Baltimore Ravens or Orioles fan, you're in luck because they have game day specials to make your game-watching even more enjoyable. - They have ample parking space, so you won't have to w
Fantastic dive bar atmosphere, with great service and a very affordable lunch menu. The retro arcade was great fun for the whole family but did not detract from the dining experience. Fresh crabs and a full bar makes this a great Maryland bar.
Update: we went back for crabs and got the largest jumbos of our lives. And they were solid, heavy, delicious!! Way better than some of the other places. - So we didn't want to wait the two hours somewhere else and lucked into Crabtowne. The service was great, considerate, and attentive. Great crabs that seemed larger than most, a really good price, great potatoes salad, and cold beer. Had a great time pickin!
Michael our waiter was very nice and helpful with suggestions. Our first time and we really enjoyed the restaurant and food. Bonus, a fun arcade in the middle with vintage pinball and arcade games.
The burger was great and so was the soft pretzel! ?? Played a few arcade games after dinner. Fun time. Parking was not good, they need to work on that!
Went in on 3/21 busy Friday put my name on list hit the arcade got a text that my table was ready. The front was slammed I was told someone will be right with me I waited patiently then I heard one of the employees ask the front if they needed help and she jumped in and sorted everything out I got seated then quickly and she was my server Jace it was apologize if I spelled it wrong but she was great even tho it was busy she made sure to keep checking on us overall I had a great time and will be back again!
First time here. Food was great. Prices were amazing. Had the sift crab sandwich and it was so good! Sheila waited on us and she was awesome! You have to check this place out!
The shrimp is perfect, the oyster stew is amazing and the homemade coleslaw is far better than any I've enjoyed. Friendly staff and owners! Always busy means people know where to get yummy food and the staff knows how to please!
I love this restaurant and arcade! They offer classic Maryland and seafood dishes. They are delicious. Come for the food, stay for the game room! Not to mention there are a ton of pinball machines. The staff is always working hard and they are extremely friendly. Shootout to the amazing servers/bartenders - April, Jennifer, Angie (x2), Jace, Jenny, and Sheila!
Great experience at Crabtowne this evening! They seated us right away. We had really good service, checking on us frequently, and keeping our drinks filled. I ordered the Steamers Delight, and my wife had the Shrimp Salad Wrap with sweet potato fries. Great portion size. Excellent flavors. Great crab! Great shrimp! The corn on the cob was delicious. And you can't beat the Old Bay seasoning! A definite repeat location for great crab!
Randomly stumbled upon this place while we were in Maryland. Such a fun spot with delicious food, friendly service and an old school arcade attached. We all had so much fun, definitely if your in the area check it out.
Had a great experience. Good was amazing. They have an arcade that brought back my childhood with the popular games we use to play. If your old school then it's a great vibe to check out with your kids. Very friendly staff.
This place is a gem, great food and fun old school games. The vibes are informal, but still nice enough for a special occasion! Perfect for a date or fun with the family.
Crabtowne USA used to be our favorite spot for Monday night trivia and our group has attended every week for the past 9 or 10 months. However, after several incidents we will not be returning. A few months ago the owner became very aggressive with my wife, got in her face, and yelled at her for simply moving a chair from a nearby vacant table to accommodate our large group. Something the staff had failed to do. A couple of weeks ago I found a sharp piece of hard plastic in the soup I was eating. Had I swa
Their huge Fish & Chips is still the best tasting & greatest value! WEEKDAY LUNCH SPECIAL $10 Fish+1side+drink! ?? It's perfectly cooked, lightly breaded with tasty hand cut fries and best cole slaw ever!?? Also a nice side salad. Great Oysters Rockefeller+Crabs all sizes (jumbo come early) ?? See pics! Great service too!
Accessible, but a little cramped. Tons of parking, plenty of accessible spots. Helpful staff, friendly and patient no matter how disorganized your group is, ha! LI love Crabtowne USA, been coming for years, since before its renovation. The staff are really organized and kind, though they seem to either run behind or just not want to deal with customers. Understaffed, perhaps? The food is always fresh and delicious, and you get a good amount for the price you pay. For years I've been going here at all ho
Great meal with friends. Delicious drinks, satisfying food. Fun atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff.
Ive been in this place for the 4th time but it's my baby's first. Last time I was here, I was pregnant, now he's almost 2. The lovely lady who served us seated us down and gave my son a cup full of crayons, he had great time doing coloring and scribbling while waiting for our food. Their food is delicious and servers are very friendly, I wished I got the lady's name, she's an asset. Overall, this is far the best seafood place I've been to.
Sheila was the best!! Friendly, helpful and very attentive. Food was great! The oysters were meaty and delicious!!
We have been here a few times with great food and service, today was awful! Ordered 1/2 and 1/2 crab soup, it was barely Luke warm, we sent that back and asked to have it removed from our bill. We ordered an appetizer of waffle fries with crab dip, now that was delicious! We ordered a dozen crabs and they were very mushy, we had the manager come to our table and open one up herself and she agreed they were mushy, so those were also removed from our bill. We decided 2 strikes and you're out so we paid f
Went on a busy Friday night. Decent food and good service. Wait staff hustled to keep everyone happy. We went for steamed crabs but missed out as they were sold out by the time we got seated. Recommend going early. Wife got the friday special on oysters. She was pleased. Olivia at the reception desk was awesome. I called in advance to get some questions answered and she was very helpful. Old school video games is a great piece to pass the time before eating. I'm an 80s kid, so I was enjoying my ti
My mother and I enjoyed a recent lunch at Crabtown. Our server, Sheila, provided exceptional service, anticipating our needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Her pleasant demeanor significantly enhanced our dining experience. We both concur that Crabtown is an excellent choice for lunch. Thank you, Sheila, for your outstanding service.
6 stars from me easy. Good Friend of mines brought me here; treated me to dinner for my b-day a few weeks after losing my mom. Had a great time; really lifted my spirits and I had 1 of THE Best birthdays ever @ this wonderful place which fills up quickly and for good reason. TV's. Arcade games. ?? Nice Cozy Shack. Cool Positive Vibes. Super Friendly very attentive yet unobtrusive staff. Clean, cute, fun restaurant. Hot delicious food in <15-20 min. Awesome Seafood Trio Dinner with crabcake, shrimp, & fish.
Great place all around: delicious food, tasty beverages and cocktails, and daily specials! You don't have to spend your bank account for a night out but tip your servers and bartenders!! The staff and the family owners are amazing!
Our first time eating whole crabs. !!! It was a very good experience!!! The Rockfish was fabulous!!! The Mac and cheese loaded with crab and shrimp!!! We would definitely come back when we visit Baltimore again. The service was polite and professional!!! Wonderful environment!!!
First and foremost, our server Eliann was DA BOMB! SHE kept the flow going, keep us happy and sauced just right and made sure we were good all the way! I hope she is there when you go! This place is a hidden jewelry! Easy to get to and it kinda reminds you of an old school diner. Atmosphere is busy but not overbearing and loud!! And the food will make you commit a sin or two! I had the jalepeno poppers...and they were delicious! We had some oysters on the half and for my first time they were cool. Crab ball
A true hidden gem! I have been coming here for years (from 45 mins away, it is well worth the drive). Great selection of vintage games and the price to play is super cheap - 25-50 cents. Definitely check it out!!
Good food, great prices for regular food, crabs seem a little high but maybe that's the market currently. The atmosphere is amazing! Eat regular restaurant food or freshly cooked crabs or freshly shucked oysters, drink, and play some amazingly maintained old school pinball or arcade games or even new pinball and arcade games!
Went here after a work meeting. It was a rainy night about 8 pm. It was busy. It was fine, until I stepped outside and stood by the large window facing the parking lot. I saw AT LEAST 5 mice, one at a time, crawling up and down the curtains and on the window ledge. ?? I didn't order food. I had a beer. BUT NEVER going back.
The food is great ????. The snow crab legs ?? are delicious ?? and the shrimp ?? is also great. They have classic pinball machines in the middle of the restaurant, you have to see it to believe it ??. Very recommended ?? place for families.
This place is really special! There is a great selection of nostalgic arcade and pinball games, plus, the food is fantastic. Props to the chef, as the food is always excellent. It's a great combo!
The parking lot being the first impression is small and people take up way to much of unlined space making it a squeeze in and suffer door dents kinda spot. There's bar seating and cramped dinneroom seating an arcade for the kids...and, like me, forever children :) The food was the thing to go for and the vast beer selections. This place was worth the downsides to visit jsut for the sublime food and very reasonable prices! My soft shell crab sandwich had the biggest soft shell crab I've ever seen and was on
I'm Kita and it's vday and Jenny from the block lol I named her that every thing about her the drink the food aye yall everything my food is gone lol
Had a 90th birthday party there. Food was both good & plentiful. They were extremely helpful on every level of service.
This was our first time here. Went on a Thursday at 4:45 pm. It took about 8 minutes to be seated with no one in front of us and tons of open tables. There were a group of four employees standing, chatting, and playing around at the bar/dessert window. A waitress, who seemed to be the only one actively working, finally acknowledge us and got us seated. Service was subpar, but the food was delicious and large portion sizes! We loved the crab dip waffle fries. My husband went with their 60 cent wing special
I arrived at 805pm on a Saturday night. Not too busy but steady. They had more than enough help to cover which was good to see. I sit at the bar and 5 minutes goes by and someone comes and wipes down the bar but says nothing to me. There were plenty of employees passing by and nobody saying anything to me. 5 more minutes goes by and the bar tender blonde hair heavy set says Ill be right with you. She comes back a few minutes later and I order my food and drink. Cream of crab soup comes out before my beer wi
This place is literally my favorite location in Glen Burnie. Delicious food with great prices. Awesome bar with lots of options (Jason is the greatest). The arcade room is really the best you're gonna find for miles. Only a quarter or two per game, so you can drink beer and play games all night without breaking the bank. I will continue to bring anyone that I can so that they can see how amazing this place is!
Very cool place! My date and I only went for drinks and the arcade, so we cant speak on food. The bartender was very friendly and nice to us. As for the arcade, it was a lot of fun! Some pinball machines are 50-75 cents, and others are 25. I loved that they were cheap because we played a ton of pinball as well as other games such as tetris and pacman. All the machines looked like they were well taken care of and overall our night was a ton of fun! Definitely recommend here for a nice date night or somethin
This is my wife and I spot for crabs. We are never disappointed. Sheila is a waitress at the location and took very good care of our table this past Sunday afternoon.
Crabs were meaty and good. The steak tacos were ok. The service was not good I waited a while before someone came to take my order or even said someone will be right with you. I got up from my seat which was bar side and asked one of the waiters is someone going to take my order after another couple sat down and immediately got waited on. I was about to leave but wanted crabs badly that evening. He claims that she didn't see me but I knew that wasn't true because the guy that's always in there taking pictur
Been here a few times now, and it's always a great experience! The staff were helpful & friendly, and the food is just what you'd expect from a place called ?Crabtown USA? ??. Start with a classic Baltimore staple ?Orange crush? and a few oysters. Explore the menu from there. Let's not forget about my favorite part..... the vintage arcade in the back!!! If you want to truly feel like a kid again... this is the place!
Very attentive and kind staff great selection of games few broken but considering the size no biggie it's got a very laid back vibe to it that was rlly nice surprised how good the food was considering it was an arcade 8.5/10 great arcade and good place to grab a bite #glenburniepride
The food was delicious! Our waitress Sheila was amazing, very attentive and friendly.
If bartending were an Olympic sport, Jenn would be draped in gold medals, hoisted on the shoulders of adoring patrons, and carried triumphantly through the bar to the sound of a roaring crowd. But alas, the world is unjust, and instead, she reigns from behind the bar, wielding a cocktail shaker like a conductor?s baton?composing symphonies of spirits and citrus, harmonizing flavors with an artistry that defies mortal comprehension. Let's start with the drinks. Most bartenders pour. Some mix. Few truly craf
Lived in MD my entire life. Passed by this place 1000 times. This was my first visit. I had the steamed shrimp, cooked perfectly and the Oyster Po Boy. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Won't be my last visit.
Our waitress, Sheila, was amazing. She has an infectious smile and personality. All restaurants should hire employees like Sheila. The food was awesome as always.
Great place for a fun get-together. Parking can be scarce at times so be ready. Portions are LARGE and satisfying, and the very impressive arcade in back is awesome!
All the seafood was cooked perfectly, easy to access half crab and mussels, our waitress was very fast and friendly. My only gripe is that the mac n cheese side had almost no taste despite how good it looked.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
