Some of the best ice cream I've ever had outside of gelato in Italy. Seriously delicious flavors and a super fun little shop and arcade! Homemade ice cream made just a block down the street. Really reasonable prices too! Would go out of my way to visit again.
This fun location serves food and, best of all, their ice cream is fantastic and locally sourced! The games will remind you what it was like to be a kid. They have a wide selection of Moon Pies. Most importantly, customer service is phenomenal! Thank you all for a great experience!
Fun arcade in small town serving high quality ice cream and simple foods like nachos. Great atmosphere and fun games. Hotchkiss needed something like this this! We had so much fun playing games, I will definitely return!
Brand new to Hotchkiss and the North Fork. Cowboys and Aliens Ice Cream Parlor and Arcade. Serving locally made Third Bowl Ice Cream. Kicking off with a nice selection of arcade games for family fun and more in the works. Nachos, fountain drinks, specialty sodas, candy snacks, shakes, scoops, cups and cones.
Great addition to downtown Hotchkiss. Serves Third Bowl Ice Free with gluten-free and dairy free options. Wonderful arcade. Family Friendly.
I came in thinking this was just an ice cream parlor but they had an arcade in the back. I really liked their dairy free strawberry ice cream!
Great concept. Fun games. Nice People. The only grip I have is the ice cream. 3rd Bowl Icecream is pretty bad compared to any other ice cream I've had. I don't understand why so many places insist on carrying "local" products only, even if they are sub par. I'll definitely go back and play some games, but they would get way more of my business if they carried regular icecream. RESPONSE TO OWNER: (Google doesn't allow me to respond proper, so here is the response. I hope you see it.) I think that Third Bo
I walked in and was greeted by LOTS of candy. Played rustic games, ya know, had some fun... Charming and arcade-y atmostphere!
This place and staff really embody the classic arcade feel. No tickets, no game card points, just coming in and enjoying the game you are playing with fun candy, drinks, classic music and trinkets!! Super friendly for not just kids but adults as well who want a blast from the past!
Best ice cream in town and best customer service in Colorado ?? We loved our quick stop here. You should try it!!
The honey lavender ice cream is to die for! It's delicate with the perfect sweetness and creaminess. Such a cute ice cream shop. This is a gem in this small town.
Me and my husband had an awesome time playing at the arcade with my husband, icecream was delicious. A big highlight of our honeymoon!
Really good ice cream. The Blood Orange Dark Chocolate is my favorite one. I highly recommend this place to others.
The best ice cream I have ever had!
I had the best time, everything was fantastic. Thank you!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
