Customer Reviews

This place was awesome!!! The vibe was super chill. So much good music playing throughout our time playing mini golf. The staff went above and beyond, making our first time very memorable. Our bartender kept checking on us and providing us drinks, all while we were golfing. She was the best! This was a highlight to us visiting San Antonio. I will sure come back during my next visit. Bummed out I don't have a cool spot like this back home.

Stumbled across this place while looking around our hotel and what a hidden gem! We had so much much playing games and hanging out they had super fun prizes and all the staff were all super fun, shout out to Zack he was awesome!!! Thanks for a great Sunday funday!! Wish I had taken more pics but they had lots of fun things to do and even had some free games to play in the bar like connect 4 and rock em sock ?em robots!

It has axe throwing, black light mini golf (it has 18 holes!), a small arcade (that appeared to be cash only?), and a full bar with a seating area. It was all very clean and friendly! Loved it, however I'd only come back for the axe throwing. Strongly encourage those who have never tried it to break away for at least an hour and give this all a shot.

We had a lot of fun here. Great variety of music. Love the vibe of the place! The staff are friendly and keep the place clean. Good customer service skills all around. Nice laid back spot for some arcade games and mini golf. I recommend this place for a date night! We will be coming back ????.

This place is such a blast! Not only is the mini golf fantastic but the axe throwing is SO MUCH fun! The arcade games just add to an already amazing atmosphere. The music is great and drinks are fantastic. You won't be disappointed.

Well, it was a weekday so there wasn't too many people there everything was available. To either play or Joining the fun without a weight Playing. The game tippy spent $20 and give you $20.So you get forty dollars for playing games which was nice. And it was my wife's birthday. So they gave us both a free drink which was very kind. Friendly staff very helpful when we had questions Guided us through our experience very well And all the walls in the place were covered in some awesome airbrush artwork. Definite

First time being here and had a lot of fun with mini golf and having a few drinks. You have to wait just a bit to start because they space the parties out but there is lots to do while you chill. They also refill your drink while you play which was so nice. We had a blast and will be back!

Lots of options to have fun with friends of all ages. We went for the mini golf with our two boys and they loved it. Everything clean and organized. Servers attentive and quick. They also have pool tables, bar, vintage arcade games and the ax game. That is not my thing but I know it is very popular. I highlights recommend this place.

I travel in and out of San Antonio every so often. This is a great place for putt-putt. Totally different vibe here than the other places I have been to or seen in the area. They added the axe-throwing into the mix on top of it. The lanes are awesome and the pricing is great on top of it. The staff is super friendly and helpful so I really have not had any gripes over it at all. Good people, good fun and good times. If I am going out while I am in the San Antonio area, this is my spot.

The staff and the selection of things to do here. Will keep you active. If I had one complaint it would be that the axes were very dull and seldom stuck to the board I do understand technique has a lot to do with that This place is fun has a bar and is worth repeating

Loved this place! Offered a military discount! Very clean and in great condition. They also limited how many were on the course which was great for crowd purposes. Plenty to do while waiting. They have board games all over to play while you are waiting besides the pay to play games. We will be back!

We had an amazing time celebrating my brother in law?s birthday. The staff is so kind and was patient with our slow group lol. They have so many arcade games, a full bar, pool tables, VR and axe throwing. An absolute fun time, please go if you can

Idk why the ratings are so great for this place. The mini golf course was super lame and small. There were way too many workers than people there on a Friday night, and they were super strict. The employees are standing around waiting to scold you. Owner/?manager of place was an ass. Couldn't put ur drink down, had to wait to be called to go on the course, got yelled at for ?sitting? on the pool table to make a move. I wasn't impressed and def won't be going back.

Went here with my family, the kids had so much fun! Service at the bar and throughout was attentive and helpful. Playing mini golf with the black light course was cool, it's a fun and competitive little game. We will definitely be back!

Spent a cold and rainy day on Spring Break here with 2 teens and my husband. It was very packed, a little chaotic, however, the staff seemed to manage the chaos with ease. We had about an hour and a half wait so we played some arcade games, a couple games of pool and just sat in the bar. When it was our turn to play golf someone came and got us and we were on our way. Once we were on the course it was much less crowded and the staff were amazing. Just when I reached hole 8 I started wishing that I had a ref

The blacklights make everything look so cool and neon. All staff members are knowledgeable and nice. Usually there is a wait time (1hour) once you arrive so I would keep that in mind when you plan on going. They have many things things to do like play pool, arcade games, etc. They also have a bar but no happy hour.. There specials were $8 shots. However, since we were waiting we went next door for happy hour. Overall, fun experience.

We were in town for a soccer tournament and after a day of historical site visits, my team of 16-18 year old boys were itching for some fun. And it was Valentine's Day so lots of places were booked out. We showed up to Cosmic Mayhem right when they opened at 5:00. After a brief initial hesitation on the part of the employees (they were going to limit us to 12 players ... I had 13 boys and was not wanting to tell one of them they'd have to sit out), they got us set up and on to the mini golf course quickly.

Really enjoyed this cool little spot! I recommend grabbing drinks at the bar before you pay for the games. They also have ax throwing as well as mini golf and other cool games. We didn't get a chance to get drinks but I really appreciated the fast that they had little snacks for sale.

This place is awesome! Golf, games and a full bar! It's the perfect place for the whole family or even just a day to go be a kid. They have a whole mini golf course with places to set your drinks while you play. They have arcade and carnival style games with prizes. lots of Mars attacks and alien Decor. So much fun definitely check this place out!

Cosmic Mayhem: black light miniature golf was soo fun. It's a great place to go on a first date. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was so cool. As adults play you can take your drinks on the course as long as you keep them on the barrels. The 18 hole game itself was super fun. I'd definitely will go back again for some more enjoyable fun. The bar area had a lot to do as well like pool tables and board games on the tables as well. Fun for families and ,adult groups. I would suggest to have a f

Employees were super nice art work was cool but I did think the mini golf area would be bigger from the videos I seen but the holes were fun over all good experience worth going at least once 8/10

Such a fun experience! Not a huge course because it is indoors but still so fun nonetheless. Great for the whole family as they have a bar, food, pool table, and arcade games in addition to the cosmic mini golf course.

My partner and I chose this place as a last minute date night idea and it has to be the best choice we've made! We went on a Tuesday so the location itself wasn't all that busy. The arcade machines scattered around the location were priced as if they were straight out of the 90s, with the cheapest games being 25? and the highest priced ones being $1. Definitely a ton of nostalgic choices. The mini golf was very reasonably priced as well! We stayed here for about 3 hours and had a blast with $2 billiards! Th

This is an excellent place to go if looking for a fun afternoon/evening. Everything is glow in the dark and gives really cool alien/galaxy vibes. Depending on the time you go, there is a 45-60 minute wait, but don't worry there is a bar and arcade games that will pass the time. Make sure to bring cash/coins for the games. This is a place that kids can hang and play too, but if you are uncomfortable with a bar scene around your kids then you may want to look elsewhere. I had a wonderful time playing here.

My little boys had A blast here this last Monday. Staff are wonderful. Music is great. Plenty to do and it's so much fun with the black light.

Loads of fun! Great selection of arcades and games. Friendly staff. Bartenders make the drinks strong! My Gf and I ran up a $130 tab. My only complaint was seeing a German cockroach crawl out from under the bar. I notified the bartender and she said they'd address it. We waited over an hour for putt putt but that's mostly due to the players taking so long. We will definitely be back.

I don't see this place as a big deal, yeah it was nice and the lighting was unique and cool but I just wished the staff could have handled a situation a little bit better. In the golf area one of the obstacles had a leveled ramp that that tilted up slightly and was being blocked by little cones, making it difficult to shoot straight. But If you hit your ball straight and through the cones, then your ball would instantly fall into the container and you'd win that obstacle in one shot. There was no way to ge

What a great place for date night or a family night. Great music playing in a fun, space themed environment with retro games, billiards, and a full bar.

This was our first time and we loved it! Glow golf was a great course and not to difficult! Friendly staff and bartenders with great new and vintage video games. We will absolutely come back!

This was a putt-putt/arcade place. They also had axe throwing and a bar area. Upon entering we signed up and paid for the putt-putt and though we had to wait, we were able to pass the time playing arcade games and even pool. Once we were called onto the putt-putt area, we were given the rules, and we were on our way. It is a smaller place, so you may have to wait for the next hole if it is busy, but we did not mind. Staff members were always around monitoring, which was a good thing because you could tell t

Great place for a date night! Saturdays there's a little bit of a wait golfing but lots of other activities to keep you occupied while you wait. Full bar is a plus!

This place is too cool! We loved it!!!! The mini golf and the retro games! OMG!!! Very unique!

Quaint place with a great atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly, i would come back just for them. It has a full bar with a decent list of guest taps and high end liquor. The arcade is fantastic since half of the games are FREE to play!! The bartender who goes by Jack Hennessy (love the name) is one of the best! He even cut fresh fruit right in front of me, which you can't say for about 90% of bars in town!!

PLEASE BRING BACK THE VR!! The family has been coming here for the last three years and still find it fun! Even the kids who are now 14 yr Olds say the same thing! Which is an accomplishment I must say! Good wholesome simple family fun! You must try this place!

We were about to go to Monster Mini Golf but after my vibe switched me to this, I'm so happy that I listened to that little voice. Zach, Isaiah & Nansi (bartender & wife of Zach) who work here are BEYOND amazing! Nothing but courtesy, kindness and hospitality. Before we even said we were from out of town, this was their standard. The owner was awesome too, you know those people who just show with their words and demeanor that they care? Their not really even trying? Kind hearted people all around. He laid t

This place was super fun! The owners are are really nice! COVID protocols taken very seriously by keeping everyone spaced out and keeping the place clean and disinfected. They have a small arcade with most games being free. They also have a bar an it's really nice. This is a great place to come on a date night or a family night!

Awesome place to go for a date night!! Great prices, fantastic scenery / glow in the dark art, pool table, bar with beer and wine plus much more!! Excellent customer service and outstanding friendly owners!! Highly recommend this place! Check it out ASAP!

Great place for all ages! Love the cosmic atmosphere throughout! If you like old-school video games, they have a great variety. Such a great family environment, will be back soon!

This place is a spectacle for sure. Fun for friends and family. With quarter arcade games, pool tables and put put. You can even pay try to win a large plush like a pokemon or a superhero. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the register who explained everything they had to offer. There was a 30 minute wait but they had a lot of things to keep you occupied. They have a bar with a really attentive and cool bartender and tvs to watch sports. The tables have connect 4 games too. There's so much to do and the

This place is an elder millenial haven, cute, affordable, decent putt putt (but could be harder ;) ). Full bar, arcade games, throwing axes, a lot of 6' pool tables, good mix of biardwalk games and arcade games. This place sits in the middle of the triangle of arcades, so it has something for most.

Highly recommend this place for a night out for both adults and kids. They serve beer and wine. The free arcade while you wait is a blast. Family owned, clean and well run. Super fun place! Pricing: $8 for adults, $7 for kids and $5 for military, veterans, law enforcement, fire fighters, first responders and teachers (with valid ID)

Staff was great. Informative. There were free to play games to keep you occupied while you waited for your group to be able to golf. Good music and the prices were pretty okay. Will go again.

This place is AMAZING y'all! Bring your walking shoes and be ready to have fun playing inside this awesome building. Killer music, great atmosphere. Lots of fun, old school video games like Pac-man, Donkey Kong and many more, fun for everyone Ask for Erik (owner)

Definitely a great little spot for putt putt. The art on the walls are amazing, everything being lit by black light is awesome, and I pretty much love anything alien related. Staff was super nice!! We came during a busy time but our expected wait of 40 mins was only 15 max. If you're waiting around there is pool/billiards ($1.50 in quarters--there is a change machine for $1 & $5 bills), a couple arcade games, and a bar. Air conditioning is a plus!

Great environment plus they have a couple of fun things to do outside of mini-golfing as well. Would recommend.

Awesome place to go for all ages! 5 stars! Love that it's opened late too. A lot of these photos were when masks were mandatory for covid (why we are weaeing masks). We love that there are games, pool table and mini golf, great prizes. Friendly staff as well. Will be back soon!

This is my GO TO place. Atmosphere is amazing and drinks are too! Theres plenty to do: mini golf, axe throwing, realistic fair games, arcade games, pool, and a fully stocked bar. Isaiah, Zach, and staff are the best?so friendly and attentive. I'm not sure what the other 1 star reviews are but I can assure you that for the past 2 years, I've NEVER had a bad experience.

Fun but felt rushed with a long line behind us and the course being intertwined. A little kid ran across the green a few times messed up golf but it's for small kids and it's not supposed to be an intense competition so it was all right.

Great place for a date night! My husband and I had an amazing time here. We hung out at the bar and played some of the free arcade games (blast from the past!) while we waited for our turn to mini golf. The artwork in this place is absolutely incredible! I'll definitely come back again soon.

Our family including 8 year old boy truly enjoyed this place. There's glow in the dark miniature golf, retro arcade games, air hockey table etc. The older kids and adults can also enjoy the pool tables. For adults, there's the ? throw the ax? . It's wholesome fun package for the young and not too old!!! The arcade games uses mostly 4 quarters ( $1) which is very reasonable nowadays. The pool table needs $2 worth of quarters. There's crane games all over and the tables have table games like connect 4. A defi

Sooooo much fun! The staff was amazing and super nice! I highly recommend and will be back ??

This place was really fun. Definitely don't go alone get a group of people together. Went there on a date with my boyfriend and had a great time. Prices are reasonable too but it will add up with the number of people who are playing. 18 holes and the course is very neat looking great for pictures. They also have pool a bar and old school video game machines.

Great fun. More for teens and adults than for little ones. Very nice staff!

A fairly simple mini golf course that takes about 30-40 minutes to complete if you're not stuck waiting for a guests ahead of you. This course?s appeal is the purely the blacklight aesthetic, as the holes don't feature creative layouts or elevation changes. That said, it's definitely a worth checking out and a great date night?especially at just $12 a person. Arcade games and full bar are nice while you're waiting to play your round. There are also billiards tables.

We recently spent an amazing time at an indoor putt-putt golf place, and it was a fantastic experience for the whole family! The cosmic ambiance added a super cool vibe, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Aside from the fun of putt-putt golf, the place boasts a giant selection of activities to keep everyone entertained before or after playing. From axe throwing to arcade games and carnival games, there's something for everyone. It was a perfect setting for family bonding. We will definitely

Great fun!! The gentleman who was the security guard was amazing! He was really sweet with my son.

I have been coming to Cosmic Mayhem for years. It has only improved with time. My new favorite activity that they added is axe throwing! The best part is that the axe throwing area for adults 18+. The mini golfing area is fun too, and I'm loving how much the arcade has expanded. I highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business! It's a wonderful place to blow off some steam after work too!

This place is great. The atmosphere and art are really cool. They have a few retro arcade games for FREE. There's a bar and some pool tables. The course is 18 holes. I loved the music and vibe. Definitely a cool place to hang out with friends and family.

We had a great afternoon with the black light mini golf. Lots of games and something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Had a great date night here yesterday since it's really close to our hotel. The staff is friendly. The glow in the dark theme is cool. The mini golf was fun and cheap. The carnival games were fun too but $5 for 2-3 plays per game adds fast. Glad we came while in San Antonio!

So many fun options for all ages

Went with friends and had a blast. They do a great job spacing people out so there's no clumps of people held up by slower parties. Definitely worth a trip with friends!

Very solid mini golf place. I put this as being much better than monster mini golf based on price and amenities. Arcade games range from $0.25 - $0.75 ($1 for the prize machines and toys). 18 rounds at $8 per adult and $7 per child. Friendly staff as well.

This place was kind of a nightmare. So crazily busy, with children running a muck everywhere and parents leaving them unsupervised. The line for golf was over an hour long. Everything is paid separately, there is no bundle deal, which makes no sense as several other spots offer them to make it easier. We tried to play pool for a little while but for some reason there are arcade games situated right next to the billiard tables and encourages foot traffic so we spent more time stopping and waiting for kids an

Skinny guy with glasses informed us about the place but than lets us know how we would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes because of bigger parties who were not IN the building were going to go before us. Waste of time thanks to their ways.

What a blast! Family fun with "free play" classic arcade games. The art work and creation in this place is out of this world! Family owned business with the extra touch. The new bar is spacious and open. Definitely will be bringing my family back!

Great friendly staff mixed drinks and good selection of beers video games ,pool , miniature golf coin op games awesome selection can't say enough!!

I had an amazing time here with my grandson ?? we totally plan on returning! Everyone was so nice & helpful! *thank you* ????

Playing indoor mini golf course in neon colors under black lights added to the fun. Played free arcade games while we waited for out turn. After our game we hung out at the sports bar and played pool for a $1.50. Friendly staff, clean place. Plenty of parking. Reasonable prices.

What a gem! We were in SA for a short conference and wanted to do something fun indoors and found this spot. Thank you SO much for creating such an enjoyable atmosphere and fun but challenging course! We all had such a great time! The price per round was very reasonable and it took us about an hour to go through everything. One minor suggestion is maybe lower the music a tad. It was just a little loud and there were times we could barely hear each other. Other than that, we really were super impressed!

Cool place but wait time was crazy for no reason. 2 hour wait on mini golf when there were only 3 parties golfing, could easily have more partys golfing

My boyfriend and I love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the games are very fun! We did the axe ?? throwing, the mini golf and the arcade machines! All of their arcade machines require a hatters to play! Which in my opinion is the best thing ever! Pool tables are also quarter based!!!! Best date ever! ????

Cheap drinks, pool, mini golf, darts, arcade games this place has a lot to offer. Mini golf course is good and everything is cheap. Bartender was awesome and staff were super friendly and accommodating. Really chill spot

Its something nice to do during summertime since it is all indoors but there isn't much to it. I expected a big place but all 18 holes are squeezed together in one medium sized room. They have three or four arcade games (all outdated and one took my money) and a ring toss that you can pay $5 extra to play. The staff were fine (not rude but not friendly either). Its not too expensive so if you're looking for something indoors to beat the heat and kill about half an hour (because there is no way it would take

The overall vibe was great; good music, cool visual style, and the layout amazing. Jam-packed with things to do without feeling cluttered.

What a fun place, it's like all the favorite things that I didn't know were my favorite thing! Mini golf, an ambient fluorescent and out space themed course, a few board games, video games (some are free!), virtual reality games, a bar, pool table, darts, and great music.

Went for 1 of daughter bday. Went back 2nd for other daughter bday. Bar good drinks me and wife played pool while waiting to play golf. We had good time will return and recommend to others.

First time here using Groupon for four. Great experience playing tetris while waiting to play mini golf. They had Donkey Kong too. My parents, hubby and I enjoyed very much and Mom won a free game!

Great place for a kids's party! Staff has a tight timeline that can be flexible. Affordable parties!

Very cool place. Fun for the whole family. Very relaxed and great to spend time with friends and family.

Great Indoor Family Mini Golf Fun. They have 18 holes total. The host man was very friendly and helpful. He made sure our experience was fun and enjoyable. Even, they had a few classic free play games such as Mario Bros., Tetris, racing car game, etc... They do have a bar as they do provide ??, ??, sodas, water bottles. Only set back was that the music was pretty loud during the day (we came at 3:30 p.m.) whereas you can't really hear your family member, but if it was at night, it's understandable. ?? This

Highly recommended! Went here recently with my wife and her family. This place has everything! Mini golf, arcade games, A BAR(!!), and even a virtual reality arcade! We signed up for mini golf and all of us had something to do during our wait time in queue for mini golf. They have awesome prices and a very friendly staff. During our wait, we played at the VR arcade and did a multiplayer zombie survival which was super fun for the whole family. As soon as that was done, we were up next for mini golf, very s

Loved it's veteran owed. Not big but just enough to have a great time. I like how they wait a while to send the next group to play mini golf. I like all the decor as well super fun. Friendly staff.

Great experience. We did both axe throwing and mini golf. Mini Golf was fun!

fun for all ages! went here with a 65 year old, a 3 year old and two 21 year olds and we all had a blast. There is more than just mini golfing here too. They have axe throwing, pool tables, and arcade games. We did the mini golfing and it was great. I just wish that they were a little more creative with the holes. They could add some more themed challenges to them and it would improve the course by so much.

This place is dope. The Bartender is a great conversationalist. A vast selection of beers. Like a $1.50 for pool & $8 for the actual mini golf. You also get a unique mix of retro games and V(irtual) R(eality). A dope place to spend my evening for a broke gyal like myself ????

First time here but wont be the last. This place is awesome, had a great time playing mini golf, pool, and drinking. Great place for kids, family and friends!

Awesome experience. First time mini golf in went with my girlfriend and I loved it

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?
