Customer Reviews

Very friendly, super clean and the vibes are relaxing and chill. Definitely a favorite in my little book! Bonus: There's dinner served on Friday & Saturday evenings! Delicious, fulfilling and fun all in one place!

A good amount of machines for a small building but they seemed tight. I tried multiple ones but didn't hit on any of them and they were expensive. The ones I saw wouldn't play under 50 cents a spin. Some may have but I ran out of money pretty quickly. They allow smoking in there but there was not a lot of circulation so it was smokey. The bathrooms were clean

My cousin took me to this place for the 1st time tonight. I must say I left?????????????.. I finally found me spot ??. Staff was nice, clean place, friendly customers, friendly conversations going on with other players, and loved how others was cheering the husband and wife on when they both hit the jackpots tonight!!. ????Most definitely going back!. ???? Clover Arcade???? Thanks for the good hospitality!!??

Been going since they open. Love the place it's very peaceful and welcoming. And Gina & Pasty deserves a raise.

I love them the only thing is that I wish they still had the actual tables in there and they need to have promotions .....and maybe stay open a little longer especially on the weekends! Other than that the girls that work in there are kind and respectful!

Awesome place good computers nice people and one of the cleanest places in Gastonia actually quite shocking but awesome!!!! 99 out of 5 stars

I like to play golden dragon, the machines use to be good , but now that Pacific machine area don't let you hit and it rolls super fast (flickering) it's hard to get the bonus now and it logs you out alot

Don't expect to win every time but dang give me a fair shot 500 in less than an hour!

Awesome staff great game systems and awesome staff. Also safe environment unlike some Arcades will definitely go back ??

My favorite go to spot to play. Winning hit or miss but gamblers take the chance. I love it to de-stress and relax.

My son needs to play gamblers he has 2 girls who need to eat and school supplies and clothes I think gambling is horrible nasty people who sit a nd take plus other unlawful things

They need smoke fans for those that don't smoke

I just tried to go play and got stereotyped wow

Great place to win money

Employees are great and friendly

got banned for nothing

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
