Claw Kingdom is a great addition to McCully Shopping Center! Very cute prizes and friendly staff. Went during soft opening today and was not disappointed. I got the promotion for $100 = 150 tokens + 1 Bag + Choice of 2 Plushies of the week. Very much worth it! It was difficult for me to win, but perseverance is key. Plus whenever I play claw games it's more about the experience. If you're really struggling or want a certain prize you can ask the staff to reposition it for you. We were able to win 4 plushi
AVOID THIS PLACE!! We have been to several of these claw locations in the mainland. The set up (claw machines, quality of plushies, redemption process etc) is exactly the same. The only thing different is the store name. It's disappointing how the owner has of Claw Kingdom programmed their machines. Grabbing the plushies is not a challenge but the claw is programmed to shaky vigorously so the plushie immediately drops where it started. After approx 20-30 attempts the claw will NOT shake so that's when the p
Claw machines were fair! We got a few things and it seemed like everyone else there did too. they machines hard! but still fair. the boy working was so so so kind and gave us some extra tokens because we were having a hard time winning anything at first. we really appreciated that. the prizes were super cute and i?m sad i can't go again before i leave O?ahu! i would totally recommend stopping in if you're in the area and love claw machines.
We passed by and saw LABUBU through the window. After grabbing a bite next door we decided to check it out. The games were great, the prices were fair, and the prizes are so cute. I didn't get the name of the worker there but he was great. He had such a great attitude and even jumped in while we were hyping up my sister whose birthday was yesterday and we were celebrating for her. It was great and we'll definitely be back. Cute prizes and they even have LABUBU there, you guys check it out! Thank you!
Like many others have said, this was hands down one of the worst claw machine experiences we've ever had. We've been to arcades all over - Bay Area, LA, Colorado - and consistently win at least 5 prizes. But here? Not a single one. Not even close. The whole setup feels incredibly shady. When I brought it up to the staff, the woman just shrugged and said, "That's how the machines are." Yeah -- because you made them that way. Totally rigged and unfair. Don't waste your money, time, or energy here. My kids lef
$1 per coin. All games are 2/1 coin Some difficult but easy ones too.
Great concept but machines are totally rigged to drop your item. Supposed to be fun, not take all my money and leave upset.
So much fun! Good for any age.
Don't waste your time finding parking nor playing these rigged machines ??
For me and my daughter, we love playing the claw machines. We were able to win at least 10 plushes, and she was able to trade them in for another prize. Good fun and good prizes.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
