Customer Reviews

Love this place. My first thought when it opened was "what a complete scam"but my opinion changed very quickly after our first few trips. The claws have rubber on the tips to grab better, they lock way stiffer than standard close machines, and the employees are always happy to tell you all the tricks. We've been going maybe once a month since they opened. I have never been there and not had an employee give me a free game or stack the stuffies inside the machine near the chute to make them easier to win. T

Fun way to spend some money that you don't need. We introduced 2 new adults and 2 kids to the experience..... so I think combine all 6 of us spent $160 total. The value is gonna be what you assign the value to. It's a cute shop! Bright and inviting. Service was helpful. They will shuffle the plushies or exchange when you ask. Some machines were a bit in the low side, but we just stayed away from the low ones or asked for a reshuffle. My Spam plushie was exchanged for 15 others, but we kept all the Hello

The response gives me the exact understanding, my review is regarding the multiple children who left empty handed and the attitude we received. Yes we were able to win we also bought 200$ of points to be able to win, so unless everyone is expected to pay 200$ for 20 plushies that's extreme. We also understand the world that is happening around us and the cost going up, it also took all 4 people combining at the end to even be able to win a medium pikachu pillow and a funko pop for 200$. I never said we didn

We had a fun time here at Claw Daddy! Lots of options. Good music. Jas and Alex were very helpful.

Love this place, I take my kids once a week. But last week was not fun, my kids was so happy to see the Labubu claw Machine and kept playing it. One of the employees came and told my daughter ? that one is not so exciting so I wouldn't get to happy cause there fake Labubu ? ? there just little cute necklaces charms and my daughter knows that. She loves them, this older white lady should have never told a child that at all. I'm not taking my kids to this place if I see her there working.

This place is so awesome! When you see claw machines you think it's a waste of money but NOT HERE. You can win almost every time! Jas was so helpful and kind. She taught my kids tricks and they had an absolute blast!! Will definitely come back

My mom and I took my boys (ages 8 and 10) here, and we all had a great time! Jas was SO helpful giving tips and tricks on how to win! My boys left with multiple prizes, including a big stuffie, two Funko Pops, keychains, etc. Hands down I would go back!

I finally got to try this place out and it was fun . I won the very 1st time on one of the claw machines. I like the fact thier are different prizes . The staff member thier was very helpful on how the point system works for the cards. It's a nice place.

so much fun! Jazz was great, She made it so fun for my little sisters! We paid $10 and won like 5 things.

Definitely the funnest claw machine in palmdale CA! Fran is always so helpful and friendly!

Absoulte ripoff. They do not allow you to trade in previously won prizes. You need to spend at least $20 to $100 just to win a funko pop. If you like wasting money, just burn it instead. Extremely rude staff as well.

Best claw arcade place ever! Definitely stop here every time I come to the AV mall!!!

Amazing experience!!!!! Came in with my nieces and the manager jazz was amazing help and great customer service!!! 10/10 recommend for anyone with kids.

Such a fun place to come with friends! Really cool prizes and really nice staff. Shout out Fran!

Jazz was really nice and helpful , the place was nice and clean . Great prizes.

Hidden gem in the mall!! Employees are very kind and give pointers, spent $20 and got 4 small plushes. 13/10 experience, will be coming back!!

Super fun!, and very helpful and friendly staff!

The lady at the desk was rude and careless about the people and environment around others.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
