Very well maintained bowling center. 32 lanes have a wonderful game room for the kids. and a bunch of crane games a small bar and a small snack bar and a pro shop. Was fun bowling here they even have a 25 cent a game day I think is Wednesday ?? And they had pool tables which is rare at bowling centers these days

We took a field trip there with our 4th graders and they were great!!! They opened early for us and were super accommodating! They took care of everything quickly. They were also reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend!

First off I want to state that I'm a very avid league and tournament bowler and travel to a lot of centers. My fianc? and I were in the area and wanted to go bowling. We were put on lane 11 at around 430pm 2/23/25. THERE WAS NO OIL ON THE LANES AT ALL!! The lanes were so dry that even trying to play different parts of the lane it was impossible! Won't be returning. First their atm didn't work so we couldn't use the arcade during our 30 minutes wait. Second they didn't have any bowling bowls under 9 pounds for our 6 yr old to use. And third, I chipped a nail down to my nail bed while using their bowling ball, which shouldn't be a huge issue, but two days later my finger is now severely swollen, sore and has pus? it's a staph infection. Yeah won't be returning.

Classic Bowling Lanes is a well ran, very upbeat and busy bowling alley near IU in Bloomington, IN. For a college town bowling venue it is orderly, well kept and clean! Our church planned a bowling night and this place was so easy to work with! The bowling alleys were nice, with "glow" bowling being a really nice touch! We had lots of fun and will be returning for our next bowling trip! Highly recommend!!

It was fun and I love that I got to spend time with my kids. Staff was friendly except for guy running register & they have a cute little arcade,but the reason for 2 stars is the price& not so nice guy at register. For 2 games of 4 people it was $53. And 2 were kids. I probably won't be back.

Pretty good place to bowl a game or two for beginners and for more experienced bowlers! And there is food !

Bowling is always a fun time however the staff here is limited and when you have an issue there isn't always someone to help fix it. Totally not staffs fault with so few staff on the clock it seemed but hard when you have to take care of it yourself after waiting a while.

My brother and I love Classic Lanes because they help make it possible for indiana's Monroe County Special Olympic athletes to participate in their bowling league at a reduced price. And that makes a big difference to those who couldn't afford it otherwise. Classic Lane's support of Special Olympics is a very generous, socially conscious thing to do. And that's why they're the best!!!!!

Nice place to go spend time with my family

Had my toddlers birthday here on 2/24. Everything went great. The staff was very helpful. Everyone had a good time. Huge thank you to Scott who helped us out and was very kind and on top of it in spite of it being a busy day.

Two lanes, 6 people, = loads of fun. Godkids had a blast and learned they could bowl better than they originally thought. I hadn't bowled in 30 years but it came back naturally. The desk clerk and personal working the refreshment counter were both super friendly and helpful. Ton of fun laughing at the visual displays after each ball. Super cute to see all of the superimposed photos added to cartoons just made it very entertaining.

Wonderful time here. Hosted a kids birthday party, and everyone had a blast. Great service from both the front manager (Scott?) and food manager (Connie?). Pizza dough was perfect! FYI: If hosting a weekend bday party right when the place opens, keep in mind they can at most (depending) let you in about ten minutes early, but not always. If we did it again and planned on setting up table decorations, balloons, etc., we would probably have the party start about 30 minutes after the place opens.

Been coming here since I was like 7 or 8 and have always had a blast! Arcade machines, pool tables, a jukebox and of course bowling! They serve beer as well as fair food/bar food/snacks and other refreshments! Be sure to check them out for a great evening out with friends or family!

Had lots of fun here twice. About 30 lanes to bowl and we'll stocked with shoes and bowling balls with weight between 9-15 lbs. The shoes I got were like new and well kept, no funky smells. The lanes are well waxed and the balls fly nicely. There is a snack bar and a bar inside so food and alcohol can be purchased. The price is fair I thought overall. Fun cartoon animations on the screens.

Took the family bowling on a Saturday evening, place was very busy! We had fun and eventually they did the cosmic bowling which was a great surprise for the kids. Also they offer a snack bar with lots of yummy foods. Our overall experience was great. Also the gentleman working the counter was very friendly and helpful.

Great bowling alley which always provides a good time. Whether you are there with friends, family, or are in the bowling league; your options for entertainment are pretty broad. They have bowling (of course), a bar, pool tables, air hockey, even an arcade. This place has something that anyone can enjoy. The crowd reflects this as well. Amazing customer service always a great time with the family. Just wish they would have the restaurant and bar open more often. The bowling alley is great in many ways.. It's well kept inside. The outside needs cleaned up with all the cigarettes butts every where, but overall the build seems well kept. They have a bar and a snack counter. Kids have the arcade games center. The jukebox is expensive. Most songs cost 50 cents to play. Right before the pandemic, we participated in our elementary school?s PTA fundraiser and won a party bowling pass to Classic Lanes. We waited more than a year to try and redeem it, but they were wonderful about helping us figure it out and made sure we had an excellent bowling night. Thank you, folks at Classic, so much for supporting our community by partnering with the PTA and then for going above and beyond in providing excellent customer service!

We came on a league night and it was really busy but they helped was greatly my husband can't bowl do to his cancer but our son and his wife and I did and had a great time food is good my husband said the beer was cold and our son and his wife said the mixed drinks they had was made just right the staff made us feel welcome and even offered my husband help if he wanted to try and bowl it's very family friendly 5stars all the way

32 Basic bowling lanes; we came on a Saturday and there was no wait. Family had a great time. Would recommend. However, bathrooms were somewhat crude, specifically the stall doors. They locked but the rod went into the wall. No big deal.

Loved bowling here. Everything is good and nice about this place. A lot of tables to sit if you are in a group. Have pool tables and games too. Only think I did not like was there is hardly any good food items if you want to eat there and service at bar is very slow. This bowling alley is pretty awesome. There's plenty to do aside from bowling. There's pool tables, air hockey, a few arcade games, concession stand, a fully stocked bar, plus updated bowling screens. I've been here a few times and I always have a blast. Good place to bowl since renovations. However, league nights tend to be on nights with deals to only allow small amounts of people to get deals. If you wait till 11pm though, you should have no problem getting in.

They are epically uninviting and inhospitable. They kicked my elderly mother, who is handicapped, out of a table because they said there was a party here, and they changed their story and said they didn't want us to be bothered by the party. With employees and managers who lie and push out other customers, especially handicapped ones, I would never, ever recommend the cesspool of a bowling alley. Unless, that is you are white and able-bodied.

When we arrived to bowl at 11pm the front doors were locked, even though when we looked up the hours it said open until 1am every day, which was also posted on the door. Did not have much luck Saturday, March 26, 2021, however things did change Sunday as I was able to bowl 61 pins above my average after changing balls. This is a good place. Being new to town we wanted to try bowling. The prices seem a little high compared to what we were used to but not outrageous. The place uses fairly new technology for their screens and player interaction. the place was well lighted and clean and they offered several other things like pool, food, etc. I recommend the place.

The slick looking dude that thinks he's in charge is Rude and Arrogant! I could make a pot roast in the amount of time it takes to get anything from the concession stand and the bar is dirty. I think that about sums up the awful experience! Make the drive to Indy for a much better experience!!!

Old 80s-90s feel and I love that. Being born in 88 I spent alot of time at classic in the middle to late 90s and early 2000s. Only place in Bloomington you can bowl besides the Union and that shift or miss most of the time being crowded with students. Classic still offers that family fun bowling experience that I'll continue to take my family too.

I went here with my friends recently. We thought it would be fun to try the candy claw machine. We come here all the time. Bowling during the week is usually limited to after 9pm due to leagues but it's a great place to go.

Loud, you have to yell to talk. The staff weren't friendly and seemed uninterested in their job. The premises was dirty, food and drinks spilled everywhere and cigarette butts all over the ground upon walking in. Too bad it's the only bowling place in town.

The house was well maintained but while bowling the USBC SENIOR tournament I was surprised the house allowed the organizers to apply a 50 flat shot for a tournament where 90% of the bowlers had the ball speed of 11 mph or less with no reaction until just before the pin deck. So disrespectful to the handicap senior bowlers.

I love that you can pick the format of your screen while you're bowling. The cartoon feature is the best, it uses a few photos that you take and it will keep you giggling! It also gives tips for your second bowl for each frame to help you get strikes!!

Absolutely fantastic bowling alley with games for a good price. Got to Bloomington a way too early before a Monday night basketball game and decided to come here to kill some time. Games were $2.25 and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Alley has fun bowling screens that let you take a selfie and has dancing characters if you roll a strike/spare. Took employees bowling around 1pm on a Tuesday . They acted shocked that we just showed up. They said they didn't have food, just vending machines. We ordered pizza from a local pizza place and then were told we couldn't eat it inside...had to stand outside and eat Then saw one of the employees eating a big order of nachos and cheese. My family and I went in to bowl on my kiddos birthday and was told that there was priority for leagues and there wouldn't be any lanes available for the public that night. Unfortunately that wasn't listed anywhere on the website. I saw several other families walk out disappointed as well. Should?ve been posted on their website. We took our business to the IMU bowling center and they accommodated us. Also nobody in the entire place was following Monroe county mask mandate.

Went for my birthday. Bowlong lanes were great but dont bother playing pool! Tables are filthy and have stuff stuck all over them. Pool cues and balls are old and damaged. Tables lean. It was impossible to even hit the cue ball into the other balls. All the balls rolled to one corner. Was very disappointed.
