We met at this establishment to kick off an adult friend?s Birthday Party. We played for about 2 hours some more or less depending on arrival time and then all headed out for dinner. It was a great way to start the evening. The machines are organized into types and eras of Pinball machines and all included a brief history of the machine (time period, how many made, etc). They even have a wall of non pinball classic arcade machines such as MS pac man, frogger, etc. There was even a concession in the bac
This pinball museum was too fun. Within the museum were a variety of pinball machines dating back to the early 70s. You not only could see and read about them, you could play them. Your entrance fee allows you to pay these machines from the museum's opening at 1 pm to its closing at 9 pm. You are given an arm band so you can leave and return throughout the afternoon and evening. We stayed around 3 hours. We never had to wait for any machine. It was the best experience and I would love to go again.
Had an absolute blast today at the Classic Arcade Pinball Museum in Chattanooga! This place is a paradise for pinball lovers, packed wall-to-wall with vintage machines, each buzzing with nostalgia. The highlight? Seeing Hercules, the world?s largest pinball machine, in person! It's a beast, and playing it was an unforgettable experience. My partner, a huge pinball fan, was in heaven, and we spent hours flipping through decades of classic machines. The best part? Unlimited play after admission, so no worryi
We cannot say enough awesome things about this place. You pay one admission and that's enough to play the entire day. We got there when they open played for a while went and walked around came back played for a while went and walked around had dinner and then came back and closed the place out by playing some more. It is a fantastic experience and great for everyone. There are also a bunch of retro video games (Galaga, Frogger, etc).
$22 is absolutely ridiculously high considering half the games weren't even turned on/working. The place was pretty smelly too. Only reason for 2 stars is for at least having one functioning Pac-Man machine. The Pac-Man Plus and Galaga machines weren't working?? Will not be back
On a recent visit to Chattanooga, a friend and I stopped here. The experience took us back to when we were teenagers hanging out at the local arcade! I think we played on all the pinball tables at least once (and there are a lot of them!) We also played some of our favorite classic video games from the 70s and 80s. You can't beat the price for hours of fun.
An absolute blast for all ages! We had so much fun spending the entire afternoon here! The Chattanooga Pinball Museum is packed with a huge variety of pinball machines and retro arcade games that kept both kids and adults entertained for hours. The atmosphere is electric?lights flashing, flippers flipping, and people of all ages genuinely having a great time. We even left to grab some dinner and came right back afterward thanks to the come-and-go wristband policy?such a great perk! It's rare to find a pla
If you are looking for pinball, they have what you are looking for. New and older machines. Also have some canned beer selections which is a bonus. Great price.
Honestly I was blown away by how cool this place is. Everything they had was in great working order and the pricing model they have is great for both kids and adults. I would highly recommend this place as something fun to do when visiting Chattanooga.
This place is awesome! They have a wide variety of pinball and other arcade games. You pay $20 for unlimited games and they give you a wristband so you are able to leave and come back if needed. The employees were super friendly and helpful.
Really neat place to visit if you're walking by. Free to look, and can pay for day or month passes to play unlimited pinball and classic arcade cabinets. They have new machines with high-tech features, all the way back to some very early pinball machines literally about a hundred years old, some currently in the process of being restored. Each has a placard with a written brief history. They also sell glass bottled soda. Definitely worth checking out!
Absolutely a must if you are visiting Chattanooga! All the pinball machines and video games are all kept in pristine condition. After paying admission, nothing else to pay for unless you want snacks or drinks and they are all reasonably priced unlike many places. The attendant was friendly and treated everyone that came in and left like they were friends. May sound crazy but this was the highlight of out trip!
So much fun! $20 for adults and $16 for kids. You can play all day. So many games. Fun to reminisce about going to the arcade or the playing games at a bowling alley as a kid. The games were in great shape. Wish they had a couple of my all time favorites. But they had some that I never liked as a kid and since it was free, I tried as an adult and it was great! The old time machines were so cool. The place has nice clean bathrooms and so great to be smoke free (wasn't like that in most arcades of long ago).
Price is reasonable, plenty of space and lots of games to choose from. Loved seeing Flash, it was the first digital pinball machine I remember from 1979. The reason for 2 stars is, it seems that the magnets are cranked up and suck the balls to the sides and center to keep the games short I guess? Makes no sense at all. It's a pay for the day, free play arcade so why not just let games play out? Fun though.
Has about 30 pinball games. Most from mid 70s and a lot from 1987-1996 range. Some of my favorites like Star Trek next generation, KISS, Venom (one of the newer games) as well as Mandelorian andTerminator. They have the biggest pinball game I've ever played (Hercules) that uses a pool cue ball. They had a new-ish Star Wars pinball too that had multi screens and a holographic display that was super cool. Very clean. Kid friendly and reasonably priced because you buy a wristband to get in and all the game
Fun experience! Well worth it! There is a variety of pinball and arcade games to play, all very well maintained. Each game has a card with fun facts about the game and the year it was released. Only downside is your are standing in concrete so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
This place was so awesome. There were dozens of unique games to play. I had no idea there were so many styles of pinball!
This place is awesome. I took my dad and son here and they played for over 2 hours! It's $20 per adult for all you can play all day - and the best part is you get a wristband, so you can leave and come back later! This worked out well for me because I am not a gamer and was ready to be done after an hour, so I walked around the city and came back to check on them periodically. They sell cheap snacks and drinks (even cheap beer that's not just for cheap beer - like local beers!) and they have some electronic
This place is awesome! Unlimited play with admission on dozens of both pinball and arcade games. I'm worn out, but my wife is in her happy place and plans on playing every single pinball machine they have. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Chattanooga
The Classic Arcade Pinball Museum is located on Broad Street in Chattanooga, Tennessee. If you are of a certain age, it is a must stop for the memories of youth. First, the bad. The Pinball Museum is expensive unless you spend the entire day here or go every day on a Membership pass. The cost for one day was currently $20 in 2023. You can play every machine for free, but unless you spend a long time playing, you will not get any value to your visit. There is no cost to play the arcade and Pinball machines
If you love pinball, if you enjoy the older games, then I highly recommend giving this a try! It's been quite a while since I've played pinball like this, and you pay one price, get as much time as you want, can come and go all day and enjoy the machines! They have a wide range to choose from, many many options to pick and it's well worth it!
Our group of 7 had a wonderful time at the Pinball Museum! The mix of old and new machines was fun and the history of each machine was interesting. We each had our own favorite pinball machine, and being able to play so many different ones, made the competitions very exciting! Also, with the ability to leave and come back, our group was able to eat lunch right across the street and come back for more fun!
This place was a lot of fun. It is especially great if you get their early enough for their weekday special. It was nice to introduce my kids to arcade games from when I was a child. It was their first time seeing pin ball machines as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. We were given wrist bands, so we were able to leave for a bit to eat lunch and then came back to play some more.
Great little spot that's $20 a person play ALL you want; we enjoyed reading about each game and the games from the 1970s were particularly cool! I do not recommend this for young children. There are several great food spots within walking distance including Poke World. If you show up during their last hour, you can pay $12 and play until closing.
This was such a fun little place! The kids and I had a great time playing games and looking at the different machines. I forgot how much fun pinball is. Clean environment and friendly staff. We decided this will be a regular stop whenever we're in town.
This place is really quite amazing! They have a great collection of pinballs and classic arcade games. Time just flies away! The best part is you get to go out for a meal and walk in again. Unlimited play for the whole day is a great bargain for the price.
This arcade pinball museum is great, they have many different pinball machines you can play as well as arcade games. It is $20 per person, however, the games are free to play so keep that in mind.
I have always seen flyers for this place at Southern Fried Gaming Expo, so while I was in town for vacation I had to swing by and check it out. Great spot with lots of pins and arcades - I'd say around 40+ machines in total. Mainly older as they are a "museum" but they also have 4-6 modern Stern pins too. Pricing is great as they sell a simple $20 all day pass to play as much as you want. Its a much better model than the per hour model I have seen at other retro arcades in my home town.
A great pinball/arcade joint. Tons of machines in great condition, on free play, all for a flat price. There are also a few snacks and drinks, your typical colas and chips. Staff are friendly. I will definitely be coming back.
Like a dream come true for me. I spent a lot of time when I was a kid playing the NES game Pinball with my dad, so I've always had an interest in both arcade-era gaming and pinball machines. However, having been born way after the whole arcade craze of the 20th century, I never got to truly enjoy these the way the previous generation did. This place scratched an immense itch I had to try authentic Pinball machines from all generations and styles and I haven't had this much fun in a while. Machines that were
I love this place so much! It was awesome playing the pinball machines from the past and reading their history. There was even Pacman, frogger, Donkey Kong, and Mario Bros. I felt like a kid again. $20 an Adult seems expensive until you add up how many quarters you would use to play.
It was awesome to play a range of pinball games from 1940?s up to the 2020?s. I have never seen any of these tables in real life before coming here. I really did learn a few interesting facts about pinball and ww2. I did not even know 80% of these tables were even made. It really was a cool museum. I am just not sure how I feel about games I played as a kid are now considered museum games? Buy a wrist band and can come and go. It was unique.
Awesome place for fun or dates! It's all you can play pinball and it's in walking distance of great restaurants and a candy shop. They even have the history of the machine since it's technically a museum too. Highly recommend checking this place out!
This place was fun for all ages. I enjoyed the large amount of pinballs machines along with its history. They had step stools for smaller kids. The price is affordable. It's wall king distance to food and the river
Found the Pinball Museum during our recent trip to Chattanooga and decided to stop in. I am so glad we did! My husband, 9 year old son and myself had a blast as we spent nearly 2 hours hopping from pinball machine to classic arcade games like Pac-Man & Street Fighter. Highly recommend, great time, friendly staff and just a unique family experience. Was really fun to be able to share my childhood classics with son.
We go here frequently..Walt is awesome and has helped us learn a few different skill shots. We end up going to play about once a week. If your a local getting a membership is worth it.. great family fun
Husband and I have been here a couple times already. It's a fun time! Lots of varieties of machines to place. Love that it's one entry price to play unlimited all day. They also have a variety of classic arcade games to enjoy. Staff is very friendly.
Well maintained, great staff, and an incredible service to bring these machines to Chattanooga. UPDATE: Want to praise their awesome customer service for returning calls promptly and being very helpful in upgrading memberships.
We had the best time playing at this museum! Lots of great info on the history of the games and, of course, the fun of playing with the exhibits!
Had a great time here today. Enjoyed learning the history of progress with pinball games. We like the option to come back later in the day and play more. Some really cool games there and worth a stop for tourists and locals alike!
20$ for all day play. You can come and go as you please. There are bathrooms available. Clean facilities. Many, many pinball machines and a handful of old school arcade games. Good for a days fun.
This place was great!! My son and I spent a few hours here, easily could have stayed longer. Lots of great pinball, and a few arcade games as well. The staff was super friendly and eagerly answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back!
Such a unique and fun place to checkout when traveling through Chattanooga! One pays flat fee ($12 for a kid, on the day we were there,--can't remember how much for an adult as we didn't play) and plays pinball or vintage arcade games for as long as desired. Our young kids were exposed to arcade games from OUR childhood (Joust, Galaga, Pac Man, Mario Bros., etc!) and loved them even though graphics were pixelated ??. Pinball encyclopedias were available to explore history of such an interesting pastime. Ea
If your a fan of pinball and classic arcade games this place is an absolute MUST SEE! We visited in June 2024 and were seriously impressed by the high quality and variety of all of the games. I am so glad someone preserved these classics! We stayed for three hours and almost played every game in the place for $20 whole dollars...what a great deal! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was also surprised by the reasonable cost of the drinks and snacks. Thanks for keeping the prices fair! We would l
Awesome! Took my nephew to this place and had a great time playing some cool pinball machines from the 70s to the 10s. They have a few older models waiting to be refurbished, so I will definitely be back to try those. They also have beer!
Easily the coolest place I've been to in awhile! We were in Chatt for 4 days and had to come back here for a second visit. Logan was there both times and is super sweet and knowledgeable. You pay admission and then it's unlimited play the rest of the day. This place has such a cool, relaxed vibe and is easy to spend hours in without realizing. It feels much more like an actual arcade than any other place I've been to. We would give anything to have one of these closer to us!
This place transported me back to my childhood. To share the games I played as a child with my grandsons was a feeling that will be with me forever!!
These place was super cool and the staff was very friendly! We could've stayed here all day! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!
Absolutely amazing place. I was visiting Chattanooga on a camping trip and I saw this place for ?suggestions? and it was totally worth it. Tons of pinballs and tons of arcade games from 1970s to 2010s. The bathroom was very clean and the manager ?Walt? was super nice and chill. Walt knows a lot of the backstory of all the pinballs and gave me tips for playing the pinballs. Totally recommend this place if your living in Chattanooga or visiting Chattanooga.
A wonderful establishment. The largest collection of pinball and arcade games around. My girlfriend and I lost ourselves for hours playing games and reading the storied history of pinball. Great fun for adults and kids will be back soon.
Fun place great games my only remark was at the centipede fire button was stuck and you couldn't really play to the best of your abilities
This place was great!!! I recommend one hundred percent!! My 7 and 9 year old had a blast and it's a full day pass. They have some snacks and beer available as well!
I like the $20 all you can play wristband but you still have to request a token for the Hercules pinball game from Logan and staff
If you love pinball and arcade games this is a must stop. 20 bucks for all day play and you can leave then come back til 9pm. Awesome
I like that this place is a pinball arcade and a mini museum. What makes this place really neat is that they have such a good spread of pinball machines through the decades. When we lived in Portland, OR we had Ground Kontrol for a pinball arcade. We found this place and it's legit the best pinball arcade we've been to yet! We can't wait to come back for a week trip again and to stop by here.
Excellent selection of vintage and modern pinball games. For $20 you can play all you want for as long as you want! The staff are friendly and very helpful. There are also some cool arcade games!
This place is amazing. One price for free play all day. We took the kids here on our trip to Chattanooga, spent 4.5 hours, and had to literally drag them out! It was fun for all of us. I will definitely be coming back here on our next trip!
Must visit place in Chattanooga! Great selection of machines along with interesting history on them. Machines were either in great condition or clearly labeled as under restoration. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable.
Entertaining spot to spend an hour or two. Lots of pinball machines from modern to antique. Each has year it was produced, history behind the machine and how many were created. There are other retro arcade games such as Donkey Kong, Street Fighter, Pac-Man and others.
I love this place. I go every so often and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves pinball. They have a wide variety of machines from more modern times to some with a few more years on them. The machines generally work quite well, even the older ones. You can tell they put in the work to maintain these machines and, for new-to-the-arcade machines, fix them up and get them back in use. They also have a few non-pinball arcade machines for you to play and, once you pay for your admission, you're goo
Very fun place! And clean they also provide hand sanitizers!
My teenagers, myself and my husband had a great time here on our visit to Chattanooga. We took advantage of the wristband allowing us to return any time during that day, so total, we probably spent over three hours at the Arcade Pinball Museum. I would definitely recommend for families with older kids looking for a unique gaming experience.
We have 5 kids that range from 3 to 12 years old and they all spent hours playing. Definitely worth the money. Wristbands allow you to leave and come back for unlimited gameplay.
We spent hours here playing all the games!! What a fun evening activity! If it wouldnt have been almost closing time we wouldnt have left!!
Make a plan to stop at the pinball museum! It is awesome fun for the whole family! It will make a teenager put down their phone and play with their families!
I loved spending a few hours at this place! One of the best experiences I've ever had, honestly. Amazing collection of pinball and arcade machines, and the all-day unlimited-play pricing is excellent ??
All the pinball machines and arcade games here are in beautiful condition! Each pinball machine displays an info card about the history of each game. There's a small consession area in the back that's both adult and kid friendly. 1 $20 wristband per adult allows you to play as long as you wish for the day!
What an incredible place! The machines are in top notch condition. Which makes a huge difference. Only if you play a few games it's good to pay the admission price to keep something like this in business.
Went a week ago with my boyfriend and had so much fun! Taking my kids today.
It was a rainy day on our trip and we were looking for something to do that was inside. My husband absolutely loves pinball machines, so this was an obvious choice for us. The experience was really amazing and nostalgic, but there were a couple of downsides that kept me from giving it a 5. Probably the biggest negative for me was the admission price/setup. There's a flat fee for adults and children, and it was a bit steep for us. I think it would be really cool if they had a different fee structure whe
All the classic games are amazing and the unlimited all day wrist band is the best. Very clean and friendly staff.
Place was great, kids enjoyed playing classic games and the employee shared so much history.
We absolutely love the Chattanooga Pinball Museum/Arcade. We make annual trips to Chatt and it's always one of our favorite places to visit. Its a great price for an all-day wrist band. We love that there are usually a few different games available each time we visit. Highly recommend!
We had a blast! Plenty of fun machines from different decades to play, most good condition. You could easily stay all day with the fun and variety. You pay $20 and play can play all you want (even leave and come back same day) .... and while I would recommend anyone to visit, I do have one big gripe that prevents 5 stars, and that is the overhead lighting is very poor. This is especially true in the back room, making it hard to even clearly see the table surface on some tables. I can understand wantin
Great place. $20 and play what you want, as long as you want. Probably 40 pinball machines. Recent machines to some circa 1970's. Also a dozen or so arcade games. Didn't really look at the snack bar. Notecard on each machine gives you a little history behind the machine. It's a nice touch. I'll go back for sure.
First time back since 2018. This place is awesome. The machines are all in good working condition or tagged as scheduled for renovation. You will be hard-pressed not to get your money's worth. My 12-year-old particularly enjoyed the classic arcade games, especially Spy Hunter. I wish I lived closer because I'd have an annual membership.
I had such a fun time in here! For $20 I played so many games! Old school arcade and pinball to modern day pinball! I felt like a kid again and will definitely go back! Great area to explore after playing games!
Very fair pricing and a good selection of pinball machines and older arcade games. Lots of timeless classics! If you have an hour or two to spare I suggest a visit!even if you don't have a lot of time after your bracket is paid for it's good till they close!
This is a really fun pinball and arcade game place, tons of games, some even from the 70s all the way up to 2023 creations. We took our 10 year old, and she had a blast, and so did we. Pay one price and play all day, come and go as you please. Great value for some family fun!
Amazing place! Will definitely come again and bring more friends!
Such a fun experience. Especially fun for us grown adults that remember having only so many quarters at the arcade when we were younger. To be able to play a game long enough to actually gain some skill was absolutely amazing. Very clean and welcoming, enough games to play even during busy spells. They allow you to leave to eat, visit other places and come back.
Such great fun, and there js well priced cold can beer available for purchase.
We decided to check this place out. For 20.00 you can play all day until 9pm. They give you a bracelet so if you want to come back later that day can at no additional cost. There are vintage pinball machines and a few classic arcade games. If you like this stuff and grew up in the 70's and 80's like I did then this is the place to visit.
Very cool place! I love that it is unlimited play once you enter. The drinks were also very reasonable. Would definitely come back again! Staff was super friendly too.
Had so much fun playing old games! Haunted House was especially challenging, and I loved Star Trek: Next Generation. My favorite was The Addams Family right up front though! So much fun and very entertaining. Well worth the all day wristbands, especially on a busy Saturday. We left for lunch and came back and it was slower, which gave us a wide selection of games to choose from. Definitely a unique experience!
We stopped in Chattanooga for a day to spend a day having fun for our teenagers birthday and ended up stopping by this place on a whim. At first we were concerned it seemed a little pricy, but we ended up having a lot of fun and spent several hours there, and then even came back for a little bit after dinner. My husband has been playing older arcade games with our daughter for a few years now and this place had their favorites. Everyone was nice and the machines were well taken care of. We will definitely b
This is such a cool and nostalgic place! My family of 4 (including an 11 and 9 year old) arrived soon after opening, and the is was nearly empty. Walt greeted us promptly and was extremely welcoming. He remembered my son from a previous visit and complimented him on his Super Mario shirt. He explained how the process works and told us to have fun. We loved how all games were included in the one admission price, and there was a brief history to read at each game. Some are pretty rare (like the Domino's pinba
Has lots of pinball machines to play, as well as a nice selection of great non pinball items, ranging from classic arcade games to Golden Tee. It has a good system where it gives you an all day wristband for a good flat price. I would recommend this as it is child friendly and fun, and I found a little niche game in the back, where if you get a certain number of points it gives you baseball cards that are original to the machine from 1991. Very fun place!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
