We bought our tickets online for a movie night to celebrate my husband?s birthday. When we got there, we went through concessions, had our tickets scanned, and walked into Theater 5 ? only to find it unbearably hot. The AC was completely out. When I asked the manager, she admitted they knew it was broken. If that's the case, tell people before they walk in. A simple notice when buying tickets online, at concessions, or at the entrance to Theater 5 would have given us the chance to decide. Someone could?ve

Man the bartenders were amazing. So kind and friendly but it was just to hot.... bless those girl's heart ... having to work in that. We had a party of 6 and we all left

Lazer Tag was legit! But everywhere was pretty messy but still a good time !

I enjoyed watching 'How to Train Your Dragon' at this theatre. I currently have a cast, and keeping my foot elevated allows me to enjoy watching a movie! Thank you!

We go to the sensory movie every month. It is wonderful! No one minds if my son talks or has to walk a little. He doesn't trip because they keep the lights on. It's awesome

Cinergy Odessa is an outstanding franchise that delivers an exceptional movie-going experience. Their food menu offers a wide variety of options, consistently ranging from good to great. Beyond movies, the addition of bowling, the arcade, and action games creates a well-rounded entertainment experience. Additionally, the restrooms and facilities are always clean, even during peak hours when the venue is crowded. Cinergy consistently meets my expectations. I have also had similar positive experiences at the

Went on a lunch date here, and it was lots of fun! The prices on games were a little steep, but we enjoyed it, regardless. We didn't play a lot of ticket games, and still won enough tickets to grab two of the smaller prizes. The prizes themselves weren't super cheap looking either.

This is by far the worst place I have ever taken my family. 2 lanes for us to bowl was 250 . Then we had to beg the lazy employees to stop standing around talking and actually get our shoes multiple times , then our lanes didn't work after we set everyone up and they basically said oh well. We had to get the manager before they would even move our lane and the ball return still didn't work, requiring 3 balls to be thrown before any came back , on top of that the food was disgusting reheated in the microwave

The app is horrible. We were at Odessa Cinergy but accidently got tickets for the movie at midland. The app did not let us know where we were or how we can change the location. In order for us to get the money back we couldn't do it at the location we were at but we would have to go to midland to get it back. Other than that the food was good the bar staff were also good and very helpful when it came to asking questions. Just fix the app.

Great customer care, I lost my card points with over 20,000 points, and they went above and beyond to help me with this. The whole team associates, Supervisor and management! Thank you!!!

Don't bother ordering from the epic theater, it's an epic fail. You won't get everything you ordered or maybe nothing. Just wait in line before the movie. The front row seats don't recline that far back either to see, you have to literally look up facing forward.

My experience was not so bad until I came across a very impolite worker. I was trying to find the bathroom at Cinergy since it was my first time going. I was with my 2 kids and they really had to use the restroom. Which at the time I could not see. I saw two workers sitting down near where you sign up for laser tag or the sky walk. I had only asked them If they knew where the bathroom was. That is when they didn't answer me so I repeated the question again. The red curly headed worker pointed The opposite d

We had a great time taking our children to watch Freddy Nights movie. I only wish they had the display up so we could get pictures as my kids did a light cosplay costumes. By picking out a character and dressing in the colors. The staff are just amazing with everything.

first time at cinergy. i saw good reviews and heard good things. i?m not a movie goer but i wanted to see final destination so i went. sitting to my left there were two people who just laughed out loud, spoke out of turn, commented on everything, and burped multiple times ?? my food?my poor food. i ordered a brisket quesadilla and it came with chips. well with it being dark in the movie theater i couldn't see the food but i knew i should be able to distinguish between a soft tortilla on the quesadilla and h

This place is cool. Good theatres, fun games if even a bit too much "three finger crane" type bits, but there's the bowling and food that's not stupid theatre price, and other vr bits that's a lot of fun.

Cynergy is usually always clean and fun, I went to watch Ballerina at the 7:10 show and my seat had cheese and coke on the seat with coke all over the ground in my seating area, i had to go grab somebody to clean this up, again Cynergy is always good but this time was just a little bit off because of this and i know people dont care and leave a mess so its understandable but if we can make sure its clean before 1 sits down. Thank you, oh and dividers in the mens restroom would be nice, it reminds me of a cl

We enjoyed our bowling experience. The only complaint I have is the music was so loud. Saturday afternoon is super busy with people everywhere, and security guards out front made you feel somewhat safer. I'd say it's family-friendly. Just super busy. I don't know how they keep things clean with so many people but the bowling area had a cleaning time between bowling times.

Don't bother if you hope to bowl. Half the lanes are broken and they'll offer you a wait list. They won't schedule you a slot. We then had to kill time and wait for our movie and weren't permitted to sit in the mostly empty darts area. Apparently, the fortune we spent wasn't enough to allow us to grace a couch that wasn't in use while waiting out our ruined bowling plans. We won't bother coming here again.

I have always enjoyed the seat-side food service popping up in movie theaters and this one was no exception. I was kind of surprised by the sheer size of the building when you first go in. It's very open and spacious and in a way feels kind of empty with a lot of space not utilized. I was told that this is a new location, so it might get filled over time, but most of it felt actually empty. The arcade games on both sides of the building were nice for eating up time before the show, but the actual game opti

Had my daughter's birthday party there it's was fun. The lady I believe micah was her name she was attentive and assisted us in getting what we needed. Would put a 5 star but they forgot our souvenir bowling pin??

Took my son for his bday. Plenty of staff, very low amount of customers...& They kept denying him access to sky climb. None of the staff wanted to do their job, nothing but staff standing around and chit chatting.

2nd visit here. Nice fun environment. Nice reclining seats. Clean restrooms. Front Lines do get real slow at peak times. I ordered sliders meal and everything was great. Not a fan of the slider sauce used personally, but altogether, a really neat place.

Our favorite cinema. This theater has everything, food, games, and epic movies. Perfect place for family to enjoy. Enclined seats and there's so much room for your feet to rest.

Way overpriced and not enough games. According to employees (not just here but at all businesses in Odessa) the prices are high because of oil field workers. So if you and your family are thinking of visiting here..... you might as well stay home. The city of Odessa should also ban plastic bags. The city looks so trashy with all the plastic bags everywhere.

This past Friday, we decided to check out Cinergy. Located in Midland, the atmosphere was different from the usual weekend hustle and bustle due to the carnival happening nearby, drawing many folks away. Arriving around 7 pm proved advantageous as we were able to secure prime bowling lanes without much hassle. However, it's worth noting that securing bowling spots during weekends can often be a challenge. One pleasant surprise was the efficiency of the snack line at the movies; it moved quickly, allowing u

Great place, take the wife and kids just always super packed long concession lines

Great place to spend time with family. Employees working the snack area are great super nice and Gabriel was the best. Very helpful big smile and happy to help us. We need more people like him.

I had a good time, me and my Road Captain and VP (Ruff Ryders) came to hang out, Kim was our waitress, it was her 3rd day, we got kid waters because a large cup was $5, a bottle water was $4.99, so we got free kid sizes. My salad was AMAZING. They no longer have menus now you have to scan your table for a menu on your phone. I'm sure we'll be going again. The sundae was good just too much for me to eat.

Great epic theater, buy early and pick your best seat in the house. Recline and even enjoy a meal with your movie

Clean! Good customer service and a lot to do! Parking is big! This one is the best in the area so far

It was a little warm in there but other then that it was great!

Bad ass arcade and family entertainment. Also pretty decent food delivered to you while watching a movie

Favorite place to visit with family, great atmosphere, customer service and food is great. Will always come back to this place.

I made a mistake ordering my tickets and they helped me alot. Super great

Mainly visit for the theater but occasionally will stop by the arcade after a show. The theaters are always clean, I do wish the staff delivering food would remember to bring extra napkins and condiments as it's rare you will receive those, even the condiments you pay extra for when ordering. The cost of the arcade, like most, compared to game ticket output and the price point of prizes leaves a lot to be wanted. When you spend $100 and children play ticket games, they should be able to leave with more than

I'm only giving 2 stars because it's still the best Odessa has to offer.. we don't really have a choice? drinks are good, bowling is fun, the games are nice? & the facility looks decent? I'm just so tired of some of their rude employees (which is whatever because it's the employers job to keep their employees happy) BUT what I'm more concerned about is the restroom situation. Every time I go there's a bunch of employees just hanging out, yet no toilet paper in the ladies room. Nasty restrooms, it's just so

The epic theatre is quite an impressive creation!! You don't even have to get out of your seat to order food or drinks, & the sound and screen are as good as it gets as well as the fully reclining seats. Best place to go for entertainment as a family and just with friends. Bowling, billiards, games, laser tag, a fully stocked bar, and of course movies! Although everything is somewhat over priced and the food in my opinion is sort of tasteless. There's some items on the menu that are great like the Philly c

Arcade, beer, movies and food. This place is a blast!

Super fun tons for the kids to do and even the adults. Grab a beer and enjoy the fun! Would definitely be back next time we are in Texas

These guys are still making the effort. New games and great seating. Lots of fun and new experiences. I live in Midland, but I drive to the Odessa one because of its superiority

Really nice place, and cheaper than the Midland location!

Good food and drinks. Will deliver to your theater!

Cinergy is really the only big theater left in Odessa. I was really disappointed that the Big Blowout Barbie party advertised was not so much fun. My friend in Dallas went on the same day and her pictures were epic red carpet worthy pink. They decorated in bare minimum with zero lightning. All my photos looked dark. They could have at least taken down the chicken Tenders frame above the Barbie sign.

Had some time to waist. So we dipped in for a movie and a meal. Walking in, wow. Looking left, looking right. What an awesome place. We didn't have the time to look at it all. The seats are nice. You can see the screen from any seat. You order your grub and bring it to you. Very nice place. Next time we will give it all a better look over.

I love going here, nice bowling alleys (which do occasionally have technical difficulties) and nice movie theaters, screens are high resolution and the theatre looks nice. Whole atmosphere is great, and very fun looking. Multiple arcade and vr games. Good service. Pizza is mediocre but other foods and drinks are good.

It was so fun amazing theater and arcade!!

Waited 10 minutes to close out with only 3 people sitting at the bar. More concerned with cleaning up 50 minutes before they close I guess

The food is good, and the games are fun. What more can you ask for. I recommend the strawberry margarita and brisket nachos!

Kiersten is the best manager in the history of cinergy.

They ruined my daughters birthday by removing us on the theater sit on Nov27th because of a group of Spanish family that sat on our sit, and they refused to move them away. while lying to us that we bought a ticket for Nov26th. And the movie we paid for was shown on the Nov27th, and we bought the ticket 8pm on the 26th and they refused to return our $72.86 back. They also refused to put us in available seats the manager was a Spanish lady while we are black. We walkaway in peace, but I will not let this sw

A little too noisy up front. Coming here from MI, maybe I'm just used to more premium classy style theaters. Staff don't seem to care too much about being here. The theater experience is good, and the concessions are pretty decent. This just seems like a big hang out theater. Not bad, just not for me.

Whether you watch a movie or play the arcade games, Cinergy Odessa is a great place to come to and have loads of fun.

Charged $22+ for tap water. What a scam of a place. Will not come back.

Such a great time with the family! The prize shop isnt outrageously priced. Games are extremely fun and they are almost never out of order.

The movie theater, arcade games and ax throwing are great. The bowling on the other hand was not. They need to upgrade their system because the strings are not the way to go. We paid $88 for 6 people to bowl for an hour, while it took about 6-7 minutes for one person to get to bowl there full round because of the string situation. i brought this matter up to the worker, andryea was her name and she completely dismissed me, along with had a bad attitude about the whole thing. i know they're on strings and th

You might not believe me, but movie theaters used to just have... Movies. Sure, there might be a couple of arcade games, but that would be about it. Times, they have a-changed. Giant screens, reclining chairs with full menu delivered to your seat, bowling alley plus climbing course and multiple VR headset games. Be advised, this is a cashless venue, but you can purchase and reload your 'Fun Card's in the lobby.

Great movie theater. Very nice chairs and very roomy. Great picture on the screen. You can order food and they will bring it to you in the theater. They have handy tv trays on each seat to help you eat comfortably. Good cup holders. A decent selection of eat there. It is good for a date night or family night.

LOVE IT! But the fried raviolis not so much. That were pretty nasty. Only took a bite into 2 and gave up. But other then that love this place

who's in charge we need to set up a twilight movie marathon let's get to it and not let premiere in lubbock out best you sis they're sold out right now that could be you!!

Went to watch beetlejuice in epic, pre paid tickets and took off work for my husband?s birthday. Spent over $80 in drinks and popcorn for the movie not to work?, they downsized out theater and expected that to be ok? its not, but they offered to refund our tickets. It's not enough for time, drinks, 2 people missing work for something we were really looking forward too. Driving to Lubbock next time, worth it for better service/experience. Really, really let down.

Nice place, good food and beer. It has a literal bowling alley inside. the only downside is it gets very crowded during the weekends.

Movie and theater was fine, but very disappointed in the staffing and management. Every time I attend to Cinergy Odessa, staff is rude and unattentive. Last night I was in a movie with only about 15 other people. Several of them were teenagers and they continued to get up and move seats, walk in front of people, talking loudly, and shining their flashlights straight at us. We spoke with a manager who said they would look into it and check on the situation, but they did nothing and we dealt with this for the

Slow. Missed about 45 mins of the movie waiting in line for concessions even though we showed up 20 mins before the movie started. So just over an hour waiting in line for snacks. Another little line to show my ticket but the girl checking tickets was distracted. I held my ticket out for a min before I decided to just walk around the couple because I had already waited over an hour. Poor service all the way around but the movie was good. What I saw of it.

Bowling has come a long way, and they have and use the tech available. Bumpers activate by player so the kiddos play on the same lane. Food was delivered quickly and correct. Family night was awesome!

The 5 stars is for Crystal at the 7D thrill ride, she was the sweetest to my boys!!

It you're looking to kill time, have a date or take the family out it's a perfect place for everyone to enjoy a lil something. Staff is friendly and great. The concession stand staff help make things affordable with their knowledge to make combos to save guests money.

We watched twister. So good. But we came to eat lunch and whatch a movie. The food is horrible. Got my money back. 50$ for sliders and popcorn. Will have the popcorn. But will not order food. It's that bad.

Fun cartoon movie while having dinner with my son and his family. Food was delicious and the service good. Comfortable seating and specious. Will revisit again in the near future.

Going to the movies is awesome there ,I like that you can recline, and order food and have it taken to you. So you won't miss anything, And Like the Big Game room and choice's they have. Bowling area is comfortable to go bowling. It's an awesome place to hang out. Employees are very nice and helpful.

Great theater with reclining chairs that are very comfortable. Food is on the pricey side and your order will be delivered to your seats also there are arcades, games VR and bowling. Also escape rooms for all ages.

On behalf of probably everyone, Stop Turning the lights on the second the credits roll.. it's horrible, almost ruins how you feel after a movie. It especially sucks with Marvel movies, but also with all others. Other than that I have always loved Cinergy, this has only been happening for a year or so? so please Stop.

Well kept and scrupulously clean, the theatre and games area are a great way to spend an afternoon or a date night! The staff is great and welcoming!

Great place and lots of room, prices are high but that's to be expected being new etc. The theaters have reclining seats and lots of room too.

Seats are too comfortable. Almost fell asleep.

Watched all 8 spiderman films and it was a blast. Always had good food and snacks. Temperature was great inside. Games are fun. Staff is very friendly. Mireya is a joyful and friendly worker at Cinergy. My only gripe is the drink choices. Could use maybe Gold Peak tea. I prefer the Pepsi lineup itself over Coke, but maybe even diet dr pepper or root beer would be nice.

If I could give a negative review I would this was the worst movie theaters I've ever been to. First we paid almost 200 dollars between movie tickets and snacks and you think we would be able to use the bathroom but no and they didn't have any notifications on the website or signs in the place if I would of known that I would of went to the Midland one because atleast I could use the bathroom and even if they were close they worked enough fornthe staff and others to use. Not only that but don't bother speak

great place for a movie! maria at the concession was so KIND as well as sociable and was so excited to talk to us about movies, we will definitely be back thanks to maria!

Worst service line are flooded and slow I came back several attempts to get food missed the movie lost interest this place is extremely over crowded and unfair to a movie goer just because it big doesn't mean it's acceptable and accommodating smaller movie places probably better if you go to a movie here check a head come up to. 1.5 hour early this sucks

Fun experience! A little to crowded for my liking but it was also a Saturday evening. Make sure you bring at least $40 for games

What ever you do DO NOT buy the pizza it was complete garbage. Feature is a bit pricey. A lot of games don't function correctly and over priced. There were high school aged kids laughing and horse playing during the movie. All around probably the worst movie theater I've ever experienced.

I love this theater. Love the seating. The seats recline. Don't ever go if your tired or you will go to sleep.

You have to see for yourself. This is the best I have ever been in a small city like Odessa/Midland. Too many options to choose from. The lobby has lot of food choices too and the servers are fast and polite. I was there with my wife and little children and we all had a blast

I wanted to say thank you to the male bartender that was bartending on September the 14th went to the bar to ask for a Beetlejuice drink that was non-alcoholic because we were in sobriety and he was so awesome he came up with a non-alcoholic drink for us to looked exactly like a Beetlejuice drink we enjoyed our day at the theater keep up the good works cinergy

Huge! Great atmosphere, super helpful employees, food was great, bowling alley with huge screens, and movie seats will spoil you! Can't wait to go again!

Good food, comfortable seats for watching movies, awesome games and great employees! My husband and i love it here! :)

The theater rooms are big the reclining seats are awesome! The staff is great real nice. The games are basic and real pricey but If you are like me I mostly go to watch movies. The food is good I usually get the hot wings, never fail on hot wings. The alcohol is real expensive got me and a buddy of mine mixed drinks, each paid 40 buck that's ridiculous by the way. Other than the games and the alcohol it's a great place to eat and watch movies.

My kiddo's had the best time ??

I've always had a great experience here

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
