Cinemark Jacksonville Atlantic North and XD

Ever since I arrived in Jacksonville, I've wanted to go to this theater; it's actually better than the other one I usually go to. It looks new, the seats are comfortable, and although the screen isn't very big, it has good audio. The best part is the Jack Daniel's shaved ice. The staff is friendly, and overall, you'll have a great afternoon/evening here.

I'm a first-time visitor to this place, and I was totally blown away! You can buy your tickets at the kiosk and pick your own seats. While you're waiting in line for the concessions, you can browse through a bunch of cool movie collectibles that are only available at Cinemark. They have great popcorn, and you can choose your own soda. The chairs are super comfortable, they can be reclined, and they even have heating! This is a first class, five star establishment by any definition. Reason is details. It's a very new property but it's well maintained like no trash, debris in the parking lot or main lobby and many theatres. Staff is excellent. Professional, courteous and it's clear that the onsite managers know how to communicate and listen. This alone goes a significant distance in the customer service experience. This Cinemark location is awesome! (We've been to several). We went on a Thursday morning and it was virtually empty, but don't be fooled, this place gets very busy, especially on the weekends. We also pay for the Cinemark Movie Club membership which is 100% worth it if you go to the movies fairly often. Also has comfortable reclining chairs.

Last night, my wife, grandson, and I decided to visit a new movie theater nearby to watch "WISH." The total cost for our tickets, popcorn, an icee, a large drink, and nachos with cheese and jalape?os was $75.00. Theater and movie were great (King of Kings), but a very inconsiderate patron would not keep her children quiet and settled. They kept jumping around talking loud, and she left them unattended and went somewhere. Even after several shushes to be quiet, she didn't do a thing to keep them settled. It ruined the sacredness of the movie for my wife and I. She showed no respect for God and the Lord Jesus.

I really like the Cinemark at Atlantic! The reclining seats are super comfortable, and the modern decor creates a great atmosphere. There's always plenty of parking, which is a big plus. I've had cocktails there, and they're really good, plus the food is perfect for watching a movie. The cheese sticks, wings, or hot dog are all delicious!

This is the closest movie theater to my home, but I'm really disappointed. Whenever I try to book tickets in a standard format theater, about 80% of the seats are unavailable. At first, I thought they were just sold out, so I bought uncomfortable second-row seats. But when I arrived, the theater was nearly empty! These seats simply aren't being sold. Today I had to drive 20 minutes to a different theater just to be able to buy tickets at all. And now I see the same issue again at the Atlantic location ? mo

Saw the Minecraft movie with my wife and son today. Concession was very busy but the longer moved along quickly. The theatre was clean, and the chairs were very comfortable. They were reclining and had a heating option. Will definitely be back.

This Cinemark is in a great location and the snack and drink options are phenomenal. The concessions are actually reasonably priced and I like the layout of the theater as well. They always have good customer service and are quick to check you out. Also, the seats are super comfy

My family was able to catch a midweek matinee. The theatre was clean and quiet. The bathrooms were also clean, that's a plus with having to take children.

Went for the Chicken Jockey.... My 10 year old wanted to see Minecraft and this movie location is top - very nice!

This theatre is new to the area and I have been eager to try it. My family absolutely loved it! The layout in the reception area was very modern and the concession offered your traditional food option plus pizza, wings, and a bar for adults. We had a great experience from start to finish and would recommend this location for everyone. Keep up the good work!

I'm sure they will improve over time, and they have a great stories you can see from the pictures, however the lights didn't get turned off until the first 10 minutes of the picture. I had to go out and speak to management to turn them off. Other than that the picture quality is excellent and the size of the screens feel like it wraps around you. I have not been to the XD level movies but they seem pretty cool. I ordered the membership for $10 per month which gives me one free ticket a month so it made sens

The staff there isn't very responsive to customers. We got there and spilled our popcorn as soon as we sat down. I walked over and sat at the counter for 5 minutes and the employees just won't make eye contact with you at all. I walked to wait in line then decided at this point we're going to miss the movie and went back to theater. Rude service today before my movie. Andres/Andreas was rude and snippy with me when I wanted to get my Rewards discount. He only took off my $1 Reward for concessions. Then, he gave me incorrect change for my transaction! This theater usually has better customer service than this!!

Went here to see "One of Them Days". Which was really good by the way. I came in to watch lilo and stitch with my daughter than sprained her ankle the day before. And decided to order my food to my seat so she doesn't have to stand there. Guess what my food wasn't delivered , I had to go ask for it and when they finally brought it to us. Icey drink watered down and cold popcorn and stale chips with nacho cheese . Horrible !!!!!

It was clean, didn't smell like most of cinema smells which was a surprise, the only issue I think it's the start of the movie, it said 7:15 but started at 7:40 something, which is aprox 30 min of trailers which I think its quite a lot, also they didn't have caramel popcorn which was devastating for me.

Love that you can reserve your seats, which are very comfy recliners. I love the "going to the movies" experience and they do not disappoint.

The seats in this theater were amazing! Reclining leather seats that were very comfy and had a heater! Usually it's really cold in the theater but they solved this problem. Popcorn is always amazing and go for the cherry icee!

I recently visited Conemark and had a very disappointing experience. The employees were not nice and looked at us strangely, which made us feel uncomfortable and sad. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and really ruined our visit. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service.

My husband and I went to this new movie theatre Oct 16 2021. Bought our tickets online and the guy said we just need to show the bar code and get in. So we didn't have to print out our tickets when we got inside first. They have a nice arcade, seating area and guest services. They have those many red drink machines here. Great movie theater! The theater and restroom facilities are overall very clean. They have a wide selection of snacks to buy before the movie (including Pizza Hut) as well as freestyle coke machines. If you go to the movies a lot, I suggest looking into their membership program.

Comfortable, really nice and clean. Great screens and sound. Only gripe used to be the limited restrooms, but now Cinemark shows you 15 minutes of ads BEFORE the 15 minutes of previews. Up the price of the ticket if you need the $ that badly, if I want to watch ads I'll pay for cable.

My husband and I love Cinemark Atlantic, we are platinum members and come pretty much every weekend. The only problem I have is how terrible you guys fountain drinks are. They are always flat or out of syrup even if you get your drink from behind the counter. It's been like that all year and I'm so over it. Those drinks aren't cheap but you expect me to drink a flat soda! And then when I ask for it to be fixed they say they reset the drink machine but it still tastes the same. Terrible. PLEASE FIX THE DRINK

Had a wonderful experience. We watched the extended edition of Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring. We used the Cinimark app to purchase our tickets, even signing up for their membership, for discounts on food and tickets. Really like the reserved seating when you purchase tickets. I just took my child to see Moana 2. There was popcorn all over the back seat area. The theater was not clean. I enjoyed the movie; however I quench at the site of theater instead of enjoying the experience.

The theater is great. My biggest and only complaint is the taste of the diet fountain drinks. They are mostly carbonation with little soda flavor. It is is the same for all of them. AMC has great diet sodas.

Great experience. Bought the tickets online in advance and chose to have popcorn and drinks brought to us. We walked right in, got scanned and in our seats under 5 minutes. The lounge chairs were comfy and the place was overall very clean.

Best theater ever. We just went to an early matinee today and when we arrived we realized I had bought tickets for the day before. Totally my fault and we were prepared to purchase new tickets buit the very nice gentleman at the customer service desk said he could fix it for us. He got us new tickets for the correct showing and even went the extra mile and spoke to the concession manager who also replaced the food that would have been delivered to empty seats the day before.

Auditorium 8 needs to have the AC adjusted, it's kinda warm especially when it is hot outside.

This is such a nice movie theater, even for a new one. Everything is so clean and well taken care of. You pick your seats in advance so you don't have to look for a spot to sit. Concessions can be ordered in advance on the app too. Service is fast and friendly. Bathrooms and theaters are really tidy.

I went and saw Sound of Freedom. I had a digital ticket from a 3rd party vendor, which the manager acknowledged she recognized. She also acknowledged that the seat that my ticket showed that I purchased showed sold, but because the ticket I showed her didn't have a confirmation number on it or a bar code, which I never received, she said it wasn't a valid ticket.
