Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese

Reviews Summary

Chuck E. Cheese offers a mixed experience: kids generally enjoy the games and atmosphere, making it a fun outing for families. However, reviews highlight inconsistent food quality, overpriced games/prizes, and occasional staff or management issues. Cleanliness and service vary by location, with some praising friendly employees while others report rude encounters. The value is debated—some find it worth the cost for kids' entertainment, while others feel it's too expensive for what's offered. Technical glitches with tickets and games are common complaints. Overall, it's a nostalgic spot that works well for younger children but may disappoint in terms of food and value.

They made some good improvements here. Indoor play area and a jump pad was a great idea! My son LOVES jumping, it helps with his Autism. Its small but just right to keep an eye on your child without running all over the establishment (like a large trampoline park would be). It keeps the focus on the two small areas, adjacent to eachother. I've been on a weekday (Wednesday), and a Saturday afternoon. Saturday was busier but even when there were a few kids in the whole place vs alot, the attendants at the jum

It was Clean, friendly front service, lil pricey for pizza , trampoline zone, bathroom need to get it clean though, salad bar was ok. Overalls this place just fun for the children.

Best Chuck E. Cheese I been to. Recently upgraded with a new small indoor playground and trampoline zone for addition 15 dollars. But if you get the fun pass it makes it worth coming just to play the games. The pizza is good, not very oily and light so perfect for kids. Plenty of seats near the windows, and pretty clean.

The cashier Nohely was the only reason I didn't give all 1 star. She was great, and the only one who was doing anything. Would have thought she was there alone. When I went to pick up my food and saw that the chicken was plain instead of buffalo, i brought it back to the window and after seeing me there and walking by me 3 times the female woker finally came over and with an attitude took it back to be fixed. When I got back to the table the kids hadn't eaten any of the pizza because it was cold so we boxed

Earning tickets for the games are incredibly expensive. Each ticket games payouts were less than ten tickets. Prizes were hundreds and thousands for anything worthwhile. Food was mediocre, good enough for kids. Place was clean and staff was great. Would still go again for scheduling kids b'day and just bringing kids to pass a few hours in general. Much better than the Everett location one. Thats always covered in vomit or urine on the floors.

Great location, always very clean and not over crowded. Pizza was fresh and hot. Kids had a blast. The updates with the trampoline are a big hit and the interactive dance floor

We had my son?s 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese and it was fantastic. The place was extremely clean, the service was phenomenal and everything went smoothly. Our party host was Leo and he went above and beyond for us. He was extremely kind and patient. Every interaction we had with the staff was met with a smile. They had everything we needed and more plus they were always ahead of the game getting food, drinks, party supplies, etc. We had a wonderful time and cannot thank Leo enough for all his hard work! G

I just love this place! The staff are amazing, they treat us like gold. We've been coming to this location since my son was born 7 years ago. We use rewards and we get good and drinks and make it a day!

Love me some Chuckee Cheese love bringing my children here but the two beer rule got to go. Bring this up to 4 at the very least.

Very well maintained and clean store, the Studio C Alpha bot was also in amazing condition, friendly staff & all the show features were working like it was new in the 2000?s.

Rented birthday party and a bit chaotic but party packages don't include the trampoline area. $8 per kid on top of that because they have to wear THERE socks. Despite paying nearly $300 they still ask for more. Great staff and food ok, but just be cautious about birthday party packages

Had an extraordinary time with my son and grandson. Very clean. All games were working staff was pleasant.

The kids had a blast, could use more organization. Staff was lovely.

4 yrs old birthday great time all the kids had a blast

I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in 20 years but I wanted something to do with my 3.5 year old and this seemed nostalgic. In a weird and not so great way it's almost exactly how I remembered it. But that means it's kind of dirty (I had to clean the table we sat in because there was some kind of gunk on it). But the staff were nice enough to, the place was practically empty, my daughter loved all the games and little rides, and she even loved the video loop they show. I'd honestly recommend the majority of

I was watching a friend's little boy so I decided to go and spend time there while we waited for his mom. He had already eaten. We just went to play. We got a pass and I let him go. There were so many things for him to do. It was a fun time. Look online and they have some good coupons that will help.

I'm a preschool teacher. My class had a field trip here today. They had a blast! It's safe & enclosed, perfect for a rainy day like today. And for $8.99 per child (group price), including 20 tokens and pizzas & drinks, very worth it.

They are cheap With the tickets and the food is expensive. In the Game in Peabody has better food and better games, and we always leave feeling like we didn't get taken

Chuck E cheese is so fun for the kids the games are amazing and the food is way better

Shortly after arriving, a kid vomited and I yelled into the kitchen to let the staff know (because no one was at the front counter) and it's been an hour and no one was cleaned it up. I typically don't go to this location because it's kind of trash, and this just reminds me why. I'm making my kids sanitize before touching their faces but I don't have high hopes that we aren't going to get something?

It's a Chucky cheese. I mean, I gotta do something to get some change in it. You know what I mean? Add some new stuff. Maybe something more entertaining a couple of new games. I don't know something. Let's go guys. But if you wanna go somewhere and drink a beer with the kids okay??.

$12for a over crowded not properly supervised trampoline area even with a birthday party we had to pay... So if you wanna go you have to wait until after bday time over for play pass .. food came out cold had to ask for cups constantly bday table so crowded in people were piled on top of each other... And poor Chuckie

Fun for kids as always. The ticket games are not giving out much rewards compare to Dave and Busters.

Very bright and clean space! Excellent game choices. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Food (pizza and salad bar) is absolutely terrible, though.

Clean and well managed. Employees were great with kids.

Considering I used to go to Chuck E cheese when it used to have the ball pit it's really gone down. If you're a parent that have lots of money to spend, this is a perfect place you go. You put a lot of money on the card and let them play their hearts out. The new program they have allows you to pay a flat fee to play continuous. Whether it's going to be half an hour or more. I paid $15 for half an hour of continuous play. For that half an hour it was great she got to play every single game that she wanted

Place was very clean . Very attentive staff

a family atmosphere, with food, drinks and many play options for young children.

My 7 y/o granddaughters very first time at Chuck E Cheese. The atmosphere was fun and she was SO excited to be here. Unfortunately most of the "playing" games (not the rides) were not functioning properly. Example, no balls, not operational at this time or out of service. Very disappointing for a little girl expecting to play all the games. Not to mention the overpriced food. $43.00 for 2 pizzas & drinks... fun but we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Went to claim tickets, my son wanted a blue frog, they didn't have any extra. Asked for the display frog and pretty much for told to f off. Crushed my sons heart . Won't go there again.

Great! New games and no tickets anymore! Tickets are loaded on their card! All Id say is service is slow right now due to people not wanting to work. They are doing the best they can! They are very nice and will help you! If you are planning to go there, be patient and also recognize the hard times their having then please go but if you refuse to wait a little while extra, then please save them a headache on top of all they are dealing with and DON'T GO. Great food, fun games and perfect family place! Thank

We had a great time with our 3 kids. 4 1 and 7m. I will say a lot of the games are a little too complex for even my 4 year old and wish there's was a few more actual games and not just rides that younger kids could play. The ticket amount received after play was b.s they barely give you any. ALSO WHAT HAPPENED YO THE SPIDER STOMP GAME. PIZZA WAS LIT AS ALWAYS!! prizes were wack. We spent 110$ for two hours of play a pizza bread sticks and 4 drinks.

Moderately busy no matter what time I bring my kids here. And the staff often make mistakes when purchasing play minute over points. It happened to me again today when I purchased 90 minutes and they only added 90 play points to the card. Then we had to wait for a manager to override the transaction and get the time I paid for. Though it was corrected semi quickly, it took that much extra time for my kids to start playing. Always check your receipt before going to Swipe the card for the first time. They may

It has been a really good experience, the times we go. The place was clean, the employees were very helpful and it was a good time for all of us! They even offer fun deals like buy one hour get one free.

Kids had fun gaming but the ticket count seemed low, the shark cupcakes where more like corn bread than cakes and we saw Chuck E. only once in a 2+ hour period. Also, I was unable to redeem the extra ticket for signing up on the app as it was the *only* page that wouldn't load.... okay, I'm done complaining lol!

My girls and I go every Wednesday to take advantage of the $18 for an hour pass! They just got a bunch of new games too! The staff is super sweet and I can't say enough good things!

Where not only a kid can be a kid but also us, parents... we had so much fun and sure we will come again. The only thing that I appreciate to have is more employees on tickets exchange area it was crowdy last time, but still ok.

We took out son here on his birthday to play with his cousin, they had a blast. Place was very clean, specially the rest rooms. Used the rest rooms and liked how they had diaper changing pad in men's room and had paper towel(Hate blowers). For $10 kids can have a really good time playing in the arcade.

Easy access. Love the stamp and check at end of stay to make sure your with your kid. The pizza was actually pretty good. My little guy had a blast. Some games were busy but he got his turn. Would've given a 5 star review but we had to wait for someone to help getting started with a card, ordering food, etc... There were too many games were out of order or the tickets had run out. The ticket reader wasn't correctly reading tickets. Put in 10 and said it was 5. So we could've probably got something better th

Our kids had so much fun! It was clean and not too busy. The kids ran around from game to game for 2 hours and didn't get bored!

I had my daughter's birthday there place very crowded the manager very rude Food takes a long time to be delivered. ask the waiter to let my autistic son enter the tickets box, I told him I could pay for this and he asked to wait. we waited for everyone to leave and when it was my son's turn to go, the manager didn't let him because he wasn't a birthday boy and he had a crisis, we had to leave before it was over. I spoke to the manager and she was completely impolite. I think they should train these peo

Awesome time every single time! Awesome new games too. . We go there all the time and the staff know our names. I'm so happy they survived the pandemic because it's our favorite place to hang out at.

Make sure to bring your own first aid kit, my daughter bumped into one of the games really hard and there were no ice pad nor anything to put on her, none of the workers had any idea how to help, we had to leave before time beacause of the incident.

Nice place for family busy nice place tho

Great place! Staff was pretty friendly, the place was SPOTLESS, the pizza was really good (we had stuffed crust). The prices arent terrible, my TEENS had a blast! Highly recommend!

I took my grandson for his birthday. Paid for 3 hours not crowded. He said it was the best birthday. He took photos with Chucky the mouse very friendly He got extra points from a credits the manager gave him, he was very nice. He got a chucky tee shirt slime and candy. He loved spending his day at Chucky cheese

Really good place to go whit kids

Very disappointed with me and my daughters first (and last) experience with this Chuck E. Cheese. The website and sign on their door states that they open at 10:00am. An employee couldn't even get in the building at 10:15 and his manager finally showed up at 11:00. To my surprise after paying for games/food, we realized that none of the games were working. We were told they will be on within 5 minutes. We waited for over 30 minutes with still no games working before asking for a refund. Nothing but attitude

Ages 5-8. Realistically. 1,2,and 3 yr olds will struggle to find something they can do. 4yr old maybe...but rides and games are better suited to little kids that can understand games somewhat, and older than 8 yrs old will get bored fast. Like 20 minutes fast. Also i had to leave my phone number name and picture before getting in. Just an extra hassle thats not worth it. Also i believe you get less than 4 tokens for a dollar in their new card pay system. Not sure on that last one as i left quickly due to

My son enjoyed it quite a bit, but thank god for chuck E. Mouse actually coming out and greeting all the kids otherwise it would?ve been a dud. My sons 4, there wasn't many things he could play a lot of the stuff that I remember as a kid wasn't there anymore, no play ground or ball pit. Really just a bunch of video games that last 1-3 minutes and only so many of those, We weren't there for more than 20 mins before we had tried everything already. Also, it was a smaller location than the one I went to years

It is a good experience for kids with a so many different categories of games and machines very well convenient to play and wide area to enjoy as a parent see kids run all around machines whichever would be preferred individually but tricky ball machine to grab it.

It's nice and clean. Bathroom were clean at 8PM on the Saturday I visited which is a miracle! They recently added some games which is nice but unfortunately a lot of them were out of service or I had to swipe twice to get it going!

Staff were nice although a bit over extended, one woman was trying to run the counter and the entrance at the same time so she had to stop part way through everyone's orders to run across to the gate every time someone entered or exited, it got a bit ridiculous. Lots of 'out of order' games but we all still had a great time as it was a fun atmosphere.

My kid loves the place, it was clean and the games/rides all worked and the food was surprisingly better than I remember from the last time I went to a Chunky's many years ago. Not stellar, but not horrible. No complaints.

Less Maschine than before, pizza overpriced, anyway kids enjoy.

Fun, amazing, friendly employees, clean atmosphere...

We went for my daughters 6th birthday and a lot of the machines were broken and take our points and when we notified the staff they didn't really care. It was a hit or miss with the staff members, some were nice and others were not. A lot of them seemed to be grumpy though. I wouldn't go back to this Chuck e Cheese. It was very clean though.

Very crowded. Kids will be kids but the parents have no respect for others. If you get food and then you play with you kid. Someone will sit at your table and eat your food. Because there not paying for it. There is around 8 game that are out of order. The prices are a little high but the food is ok. Not great. But just ok. This place is very small. And they put a lot inside so everyone bumps into one another.

Not a busy day but everyone working made it a memorable experience. My son asked one if the managers to play with him while his dad and I were eating and he happily agreed. My son did not want to leave when we wanted to leave and instead of getting irrated with a crying child they all tried to make him smile.

Really rude staff. I came in with my nephew who is 4 and she told me that he would need to wear a mask. I said no problem. I was told that I could buy one there but then I get yelled at by an older woman because apparently he shouldn't have been inside at all without a mask. I'm not from MA and wasn't aware of the rules. She was unnecessarily rude and in the end my nephew didn't even want to go back in. The girl in the front was nicer and actually new how to deal with customers

Great place for younger children to come burn some energy!! Kinda sad they don't have the playground n not sure about how their point system works but the kids had fun either way!

I can't really give any more stars because I was denied entry when I arrived. Apparently there's an age limit even though the website says that there's not. I'm 19 and my sister, 15, and her friend, 14, wanted to go hang out and play games and eat pizza but when we walked in, we were asked our age and told we couldn't stay because we were too old. After being told we went online and saw that no where does it say there's an age limit. We thought it would be ok since I am an adult and all minors must be accom

DO NOT GO HERE my son took a slice of pizza and it was so sharp that when he had it near us neck he accidentally cut himself, then the employees dragged his body to the center and started chanting ?CHARLES ENTERTAINMENT CHEESE ARISE OUR MASTER? And then a man in a giant rant suit dragged him in the back and neon red lights flashed through the door. #ihatemondays #dadfails

Best place to go after work and school to get your kids and self tired and ready for the next day. Definitely a stress relief for me appreciate it a lot

Is so clean the Restrooms and the tables, what I did not like is that a male manager came in on the other side of the counter,he was walking by,he drop a bucket fill with utensils and just keep walking, did not even bother to pick them up.. The cashier was bussy taking my order, why it was hard for him to pick it up? I got very upset with this " Manager" other think I like there new way , they could improve much more..

service could get better, when I got there there were only dirty tables, I had to clean one myself. there were more than 4 machines out of service it may not sound like alot but on a busy day like a Saturday probably made my experience like a 3 start.

Nice and Clean with friendly staff. Management was very helpful and fair. I want to thank the manager again for making my daughter feel special on her birthday 8/10/18!

My 3 year old likes the coin machines and little rides. She also likes feeding the tickets to the automated counter. Haven't tried the food. Might not be for everyone.

Attended Birthday party had a great time. All the children enjoyed themselves. The staff did a good job serving the children and entertaining them

The manager Margarite, extremely rude, and mean. I had 3 coupons for a cotton candy. I asked for them and she said "we don't have any, save them for next time, there's nothing I can do." She kept interrupting me when I spoke with her, and walked away when I asked her for different cups or prizes. It's not that she wouldn't give me a prize for the cups I bought, but that she was rude about it, giving me an attitude like "oh well, whatever" and treated me like I was bothering her. My family spent over $100 th

Chuck-E-Cheese manager direct quote out of her hands saying they will not refund children's tickets even though it says unlimitedso the direct quote from the manager was that the unlimited doesn't matter she has no authority on that. Even though the unlimited price we paid was not following me because most of the games are out of order or taking the tickets more swipes without paying out again direct quote from the district manager was it's out of her hands talk to the corporate office and I have three chil

Food is decent enough for an afternoon out with the kids. Best bet is to get the meal deals that include game tokens. Games reward good tickets and the prizes are good enough to pkease the kids.

Great place to take your children, very friendly staff

Good place to take your kids, lack of many good machines, once you played them all nothing to do, nice atmosphere, food was okay but very overpriced

I love the place, you can eat and play games and redeem the tickets to free stuff best place ever.

I stood in line waiting for food and asked MULTIPLE employees for help and got attitude by the fat, ignorant employee at the door that's clearly the manager of the place and I'd NEVER bring my family to this place. Doesn't even have half the attractions that most Chuck E. Cheese?s have

The place is horrible! Too many people and not enough staff. The lines were very long, rude people would cut to the front and the staff did nothing. The new "points" system is designed to steel your child's chances of playing. Will not return to this one or any other Chuck E Cheese.

i ordered a few times with doordash and it was fine, but the last 2 times i ordered whether through doordash or ubereats, my order was wrong. i ordered once and put ?light sauce please? under the special instructions and they just sent a regular cheese pizza. i figured maybe i had to specify more. so before i even ordered today, i called to make sure they could even make light sauce pizzas. the employee said yes and i said ok, i?ll put it under the special instructions. i did that, and also ordered pretzels

The manager maggie very rude. Has no customer service skills. The new system of buying minutes not always work. I bought 90 minutes and the card only worked for 60 minutes. They stole my money. ??????

Not worth it people cut you in line employees see and dont do anything both when ordering food and picking out prizes they seen to hate their job. For being a big chuck e cheese their prize selections weren't very big.

Terrible. They threw out all my food, drinks, and my kids tickets and photos while we where up playing games. Ya games are one token but each token is $.33. Plus they took the kids favorite thing, the play place maze. Way Over priced.

We went for a birthday party and it was really fun, i like they control the access to make sure the kids are getting in and going out with the same person.

Really liked the unlimited play for set times at set prices. Only 1 of 4 ticket counting machines was working and employees offered no alternatives.

Good place for rainy days and reasonably priced for birthdays! Both my kids love it!! New and improved games too!!

Great staff! Made my 4year olds birthday a time to remember! Thanks for the special treatment and making my girls feel so special!

Where a kid can be a kid ??

Visited recently and the games were great. did not try the food. But I like the cards and the games.

Super for ther kids and Parents. Safe and clean. Nice personal. Good Pizza mmm. And they had salad to.. It a good place..??

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
