The atmosphere was great for kids. It's a Great place for kids under 7 years old. Check in/out was very smooth and I was at ease knowing that a staff member would be by the door making sure my child doesn't wonder out alone or with a stranger. Nice security checks. The tables stayed dirty for the entire 2 hours we were there. I never saw the staff wipe off any of the tables. The salad bar has no lettuce. The soda machine has no ice. The employees were very friendly but understaffed. I did not venture into t
Everything was really awesome. Easy check in and easy ordering. We did the small party with my daughter and she absolutely had so much fun with her friends. The pizza and wings were very fresh. Anything extra we needed we were able to get no problems. It was a really good experience.
Our favorite location. The staff is polite, welcoming, kind, and the place is very clean. The salad bar is always clean, full, and fresh. The staff are attentive. The food is hot, fresh to order, and delicious. Lots of parking. They have great deals right now for summer.
Do not like the card swipe option over tokens. I get the change but it's also a scam. Kids just keep tapping and the credits dissappear in seconds. Otherwise it was a fun party and the service was friendly. Pizza was actually good too. Party prices are also reasonable
We loved this place. Clean, great customer service, my child felt really welcomed there. Don't remember the name of the lady on the register, it was Sunday 5 p.m but she really knows how to talk to the kids, she took her time with my child, explained to him things about prices and really made him feel that that moment was all about him. I appreciate moments like that in businesses, love it, thank you.
Chuck E. Cheese is so much nicer than when I was a kid! We had my son?s 7th birthday here and he loved it. The pizza is much improved from my memory and both the kids and adults chowed down. Honestly felt like it was a good deal for the unlimited game play and it was the easiest birthday party I've hosted for him. He loved the games of course, and the ticket blaster was a huge plus.
remodel is better and friendly staff. They have a large trampoline. To jump its 10$ per person need the socks they sell there to jump or they will tell you to get off of the trampoline. For one hour unlimited play card its 35$ or 24$ for 30 min which can be shared with multiple kids. Fun spot ????
Food wasn't bad it was actually pretty good but the service to get the food took quite awhile. The kids had plenty of things to do and for those who drink they served beer for the adults and. There was something for the adults and children to be entertained with all the arcade games they had.
Have been coming here since my children was growing up. Remodel of the interior makes it really roomy. Upgraded video games to smart card system makes it more enjoyable for the kids. Great for birthday parties indoors.
You know what to expect. Happy to see the animatronics are gone and there a bright paint scheme. Staff was friendly and place was clean enough. The trampoline and climbing area are extra cost but glad they have the option. Party area hosted a few parties and they handled the groups well.
Kids have a great time here. Wish they had more affordable options for both food and game / play time. The new obstacle course play area area is really cool but pretty expensive. The venue was clean and staff helpful on our visit
I bring my children here often mostly for a few of the games. This location was rude to me upon exiting. ?Have a nice day? the lady at the counter said. I waved good bye. She said loud and clear to my back as I got further ?yeah you too?. I'm sure she had a long day but lord that horrible customer service; I'll be back for the games per usual though hoping there's less remarks from staff.
The Birthday Party and everything went well. The hostess was great and the kids had an awesome time. It wasn't crowded and that was good. The kids were able to play all the games they wanted without feeling rush. The food was also good. Just wish they would cook the french fries longer.
It's gotten really expensive. The packages really leave a lot to be desired. Pizza packages used to come with coins. Don't really care for the way the cards are done. You pay for the time or the points and then you have to buy a card to put them on. The whole thing is ridiculous. There wasn't a play place at this one (which used to be half of Chuck E Cheese) and the games are really janky. They look and play like they haven't been well maintained. It's just not what it used to be ??. That being said, the st
Good: staff are nice and friendly. Games are good and in working order. Couple cool rides here. Bad: smells like feet. Grimy. Dirty. Toilets ALL were disgusting.
Ordered one medium pizza after waiting about 25 minutes, went to check on my order, and peeked into the kitchen no one was in there. They said they had orders lined up before mine, so why was no one in the kitchen preparing any food????
Always a treat to be here. We go once a week the only thing I wish is they had better selection on the salad bar items as they had just a few months ago
I haven't been here in many years, this was a childhood Haven for me. I randomly decided to take my 2-year-old to Chuck e. Cheese, she had a wonderful time and it was awesome seeing her enjoy herself like I did. I had a brief conversation with a manager named Wayne and mentioned to him it was her first time, he found me later and gave my daughter a game card. It was an awesome experience and we will be back! Thank you to all the staff that were working Sat morning on 8/5/23!
If I could give this place zero stars I would! The employee when you walk in was very rude. Upon sitting down there was no employees to be found every table around me was dirty you can't even get a drink the fountain drink area was dirty the salad bar was dirty food and soda all over the floor! When employees are coming and going through the kitchen they were not using hair nets! It's truly unbelievable how they are still in business!
Pros: place upgraded. Bathroom clean. Cons: 25% of the games do not work after you scan them. Which is frustrating. They are very often short staffed with long lines. Food is expensive.
Understaffed but did what they could, food got better and had a good selection for beer .
Our go to Chuck e cheese spot. I would say 99% of games all work, never had a problem here with multiple out of service machines. We haven't eaten here yet so unsure about food. The employees come by making sure all machines are working and to gather kids who want to see Chuck E . Returning customers for 4 years now.
Chuck E cheese is a good, fun place to bring the little ones. But make sure you have loads of money! The set up for card play is awful! Gone are the days when you could put some money on the card and play. Now it's a set price and set time limit. The food is ridiculously priced. I don't think I will go back. I grew up at Chuck e cheese and my kids did too. But now I have grandkids and it's just not the same anymore.
We went on a Monday and we were the only Family in the whole place. The buffet had a pepperoni pizza and a cheese pizza and it didn't look fresh. We were there for over an hour and the same food was at the buffet table. As far as the cleanliness of the location. I was very dissatisfied. With Only One family there you would think the staff would have time to wipe down the tables and the games. Instead the two girls on the clock stood there and talked to another girl. We ordered a large pizza and it took 35 m
My 3 year old kid was trying to get in the playground with the wearing the special sucks and the general manager (Luis Luna) pulled my kid from his arm and told him no no no, that's definitely not the right way to treat anyone specially a 3 year old kid that doesn't understand that he needs to wear a special bracelet or special Socks in order to play in that area, I will escalate this situation for sure
3.5 stars. I went at a slow time during the week which made my visit pleasant. Employees were really friendly and the store seemed clean. Pizza was mediocre but it was what I expected.
Fun place where kids can be kids! Love it!
Midnight is a wonderful manager. When one of the games stopped working for my daughter was playing it she went right over and fixed it. She checked on my other daughter to see how one of the games was working for her. We wanted cotton candy but there wasn't any and Midnight made sure to make fresh cotton candy. It was an overall fantastic experience and we will head back to the Citrus Heights location again soon.
We had our son's 5th birthday party here earlier today. Our party host Abril was phenomenal. She was quick with our food orders, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything else and took extraordinary compassionate to the fact that our son had autism. The food was great and our guests had a great time. Definitely will book another birthday party here again in the future!
It's wasn't busy when I went but still had to wait 15-20 minutes for someone to come up front. Bought a bouncer wristband for my son, 2 minutes after he was jumping the man told me he was closing it down for the night. It was 8pm, they close at 10pm. Tried to get a refund on the wristband but NO ONE would come up to the registers. They were all in the back, talking and laughing with each other instead of working. So frustrating.
Have hosted 2 birthday parties here and the hosts have always been amazing and go above and beyond
Love this location they are so friendly and helpful!!!
Come SEE the new Remodeling! They have finally updated, the dance floor is a hit, and don't forget to try the bounce house!
This was my first time at a Chuck E. Cheese and I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a dark, dank children's germ factory. Instead, it was amazingly clean and well lit, probably still a germ factory, but it makes you feel ok with it. The staff is friendly and appear to handle kids birthday parties well. The food was okayish, perfectly suited to the palate of the sub-teen set. Only real downside is that it is a Pepsi establishment. One disappointment too far in this perilous time.
Newly updated with new games and a trampoline area. My grandkids had fun!
The sodas were at the watered down stage. The pizzas were good compared to previous visits. Friendly staff. Lack of cleanliness. With lots of kids bouncing, eating, and touching everything. There wasn't anyone to clean every once in a while
I mean, it's fun to do the games and stuff but it smells like sodium heaven. The floor was gross and if the Chuck dude didn't have mask on he'd be like THE most depressed human I existence. He be like, the 8th great wonder of the world and scientists everywhere would wonder think to themselves, "Damn, how the hell is this dude so depressed." The animatronics though, CREEPY. they just watch you wherever you go! DISGUSTANG
I been to many Chuck E. Cheeses and most of them are starting to be run down, under managed, and poor quality overall as well. This one seem to be very good in all areas, love the stuff crust option for their pizzas now.
Great updates to this location. They now have a trampoline pad inside. New games as well. No more creepy anamatronics.
5th birthday party for my grandson 5 kids 3 adults unlimited game play Batman Cake and pizza salad bar and drinks was just over $200 for 2 hours worth every penny.
It's was fun having a birthday party here and letting the children play unlimited until our time was up. The kids had a blast and the parents had less work to do. Although for the price paid, their people there should have been in charge with clean up instead of the party goers. Other than that, it was great.
I went here last year when they had the animatronics still, I stopped by today and they were completely gone, I'm unsure what they were replaced with. Either a trampoline thing or a dance floor. And those are cool, but I don't understand why they got rid of the animatronics. I know it's what's happening in the company and not just this location but it is extremely upsetting, especially with how important animatronics are to the history of Chuck E Cheese and such. They could have moved them or at least kept
Pizza quality has increased immensely over the years but so has the price. There's typically some pretty decent coupons on Groupon or on the website but it's far too expensive to go and pay full price.
Very clean and friendly place to bring little ones to play! The staff were helpful and had great attitudes and took care of the space making sure to keep it clean for us all to enjoy and I heard new things are coming for our awesome local Chuck E. Cheese!!! I can't wait for more fun here with my grandson ??
Construction going on while kids are playing. Place has dust all over seats and tables. The construction supply room is completely open and any kid can walk in. Trash cans nowhere to be found and no one cleaning trash that's on the floor everywhere.
Always a fun time going to a party or just to hang out.
I don't really make reviews, but this time I have too. My son is autistic and he was too tall to go in the new trampolines, he wasn't delighted. The points we got on the games didn't go through the card. That was a huge bummer! We also like to sit down and watch the animatronics perform, but when we walked through the showroom, there was a tv screen on the wall and shadows of the characters that used to preform on the stage. I will always miss the animatronics. How come you couldn't keep them or update them?
Nice food and salad , good place for kids . But I hope they clean the tables properly.
This isn't your run-down Chuck E Cheese from the 80s. Food was good, plenty of modern games. We hosted a party and our host Eli was phenomenal. One of the most polite and friendly party planners I've experienced.
Went for my daughter's 6th birthday. We had such a great time. We were there at three and had the whole place to ourselves. The pizza was so good! Everyone was pleasantly surprised. Definetly will come back here with birthdays. Also I just love the pay by the hour instead of my credits!
My little one turned 5 Today and honestly it was so much fun! The party was set and ready for us, as soon as our host and guest showed up everyone got to playing and the host checked everything off with me and made she continued to check on us if we needed anything. The party was a success and definitely plan for more visits. Thank you Citrus Heights staff for an awesome experience for us all!
Saw on the pictures a playground with tunnels and a ball pit, but not there anymore. Good open space to keep track of kids, but definitely less games and activities than what it use to have. Decent fun for the price.
The pizza was yummy but very crowded. Slow at counter to order and wait time was a little li g. Prices are a bit high.
Had a blast at my granddaughter's birthday party
It's Chuck E Cheese. However, the cheesy garlic bread is wonderful, and the sauce on the boneless wings (chicken nuggets) was very tasty. The pizza was very greasy (pepperoni) but otherwise very flavorful. Nicely soundproofed inside (kids having fun was not deafening, and you can easily keep an eye on them). Birthday kids got special attention by staff and mascot.
Wow!! They have completely reorganized the inside. Everything seems updated and new. I didn't have any food, but I didn't hear any complaints from the others. Great Birthday party!
Kids had a great time with the wristband we purchased along with spending$120.00 for 1 very very thin pizza very little sauce and an order of garlic bread. I felt it cost way way way to much for what we got. Could of had a better time at McDonald's, and cheaper and the food would have been better, way better. Won't recommend and won't ever go here again.
We came here Thursday night for my nephews 5th birthday and he had the best time. Cheyenne was so sweet and gave him the greatest birthday gifts. Her present to him gave him a great big smile. He loved Chucke and all of the games.
Kids had a blast. Food lower quality.... But ok. Ordered salad and staff took over 45 minutes to stock so I could make a plate. 1/2 of arcade games didn't work properly. However kids had a blast.
Clean and best customer service the pizza is so delicious ?? and the Cheese bread is to die for we love it . You can tell the place is well mange bye a professional manger.
The staff was SO NICE to us! My son had never been and he had a blast! We didn't get food, but it was really fun. We will be back!
This was my first time coming to a Chuck E. Cheese, but it was an awesome experience. Brought my nephews there and bought them 30 min cards. They had so much fun competing against each other (in terms of tickets). The staff were helpful. Would NOT recommend it to kids less then 4 yrs old, though.
The staff is extremely polite and helpful! I love the safety features for ensuring my child leaves with me and no one else. The pizza is ok but my kid loves it! There are some great deals on games and I felt I got my dollar's value
Left this location to go to another. Not necessarily the facility but there was rough housing on the arcade floor. Cutting in line and pushing. My children both almost got hurt on multiple occasions. Multiple workers seen the rough housing and said nothing. Would not consider this a safe place for smaller children.
Had a great time celebrating my granddaughters 3rd birthday. The service was exceptional, the staff-so accommodating & helpful. We stayed about 4 hours, just a wonderful place for any kid... Big or small Thank you Chuck E.
Management and staff were very helpful and supportive with the birthday party.
So happy that Chuck E Cheese is a part of our community. What a great place for all kids to have a wonderful time. We have lived in the area for 5 years now and this is one of our favorite places to spend time with the kids. Always clean, the staff is absolutely wonderful and accepting. I can't thank the business owner enough for keeping Chuck E Cheese in the neighborhood and hiring such wonderful employees.
Great for the kids but I won't be eating their food again. Let's just say ot didn't settle well and that's been at any Chuck E. Cheese I've been too. They could definitely keep up their bathrooms better because they are not a place I want my kids to use when they have to go. But overall it is a fun place for the kids!
So much fun for the family . I love the invisible stamps that they give the kids and adults. Safety is important. The pizza has gotten a lot better too. They added to the menu and thank goodness. It was much needed. It's still not the best pizza around but at least decent now. Let's face it we are not going for the food.
The manager Luis has great customer service and seems great at running the place. Very friendly and helpful. Kids had fun
Noisy loud slight bit expensive frantic crazy not organized busy Came here for a birthday party. This place was crazy busy, lots of parents and kids here from public, so not dedicated to your party. There is a hamster tube style climbing structure. Otherwise the main focus is the trickery reward driven games. My daughter and I spent the card given by the party host, then spent money to get more tokens. It was unclear if we needed to buy game time or game tokens, so I ended up buying both. After the fact,
We had my daughter Olivia's 2nd birthday party 07/10/2022..the young man who assisted us was amazing, heaven sent. The facility was clean and the pizza was delicious. Our party host went above and beyond to make my daughters day special. Im mad that I lost my receipt and I couldn't complete the survey because I wanted to give my 5 star approval of our experience today. We would definitely be back, no doubt. Thank You!
Very clean, the pizza was tasty, the only reason i reduced to 4 star is how slow it was to get the machines refilled with tickets. We went on Thursday evening, there was hardly any people, but the attendant took sweet time to tend to the machines. Maybe they were under staffed? Who knows, but we had a great time, the machines, floors, bathrooms, play area was pretty clean. Pizza was good and on time. Thank you
We usually have a pleasant time here. But this was my last draw. After visiting the Roseville location it is way nicer and more update to date and you are also rewarded at least 50 times more tickets on each game. But besides the point, we came here for my daughters 3rd birthday. We ordered 2 large pizzas and 4 drinks and 4 one hour unlimited plays. We got our pizza fairly quick and we ate and went to play. Came back to an empty table and had almost a full pizza at least $20 dollars worth of food and d
Pretty fun place for my kids
Kids love it (of course) and if you go to the main website there are usually coupons. The pizza has gotten better, which is good because it really wasn't great before. The salad bar is good with enough variety to make a decent salad. I will also say that the staff has always been friendly and patient with my kids and that is the main reason we continue to go back.
Never again will I bring my kids to this location. The staff are so ghetto and rude. The customer service is laughable. No thank you after a purchase or smile no bit of courtesy. They just seem to hat their job lives or all above
Had my daughter bday here. Although it was a little pricey my daughter enjoyed her bday.
If you're looking for pizza, not great.. but my 6 year old lovesssss ?? the games and lil cars and Chuck E.!! The staff was super friendly and inviting too!!
Just left this location. And I came in with 21,000 tickets my kids been saving from parties over the years and they played my kids. Out of the tickets. They. Only got four 800 items which did not equal. To the amount. I tried to correct the manager she did nothing because the man who helped stated he was new and had no idea what he was doing definitely calling corporate office and let them know will not be returning to location ever. She only offered an additional 1000 tickets what is 1000 tickets to 21,0
The place was clean and Chuck E. cheese came out a few times and the stuffed crust is a must have and the chicken wings are good
Great time! Definitely expensive and kinda tricky with the way they have you pay for minutes. Make sure you pause your play card if you sit down to eat!!! Destiny was extremely kind and patient with us. I wish I had gotten the name of the male employee who helped us because he was awesome as well. Food was fantastic!
Old, outdated and small. Not usually busy.. lots of machines out of order. Pizza is decent and their salad bar is just "okay". The unlimited play time is a huge bonus for this place. My daughter played unlimited games for an hour at less than $20.
Can't say enough fabulous things about the food and service. They were very helpful as well. The place & restrooms are kept cleaned . You will not be disappointed.
It's been a few years since I took my family to Chuck E. Cheese for an evening out of family fun. I was surprised to find that the classic tokens have been replaced by plastic cards. While it makes it easier on my pockets, there was something special about seeing your child's excitement as they counted out their share of the coins. The food has definitely improved, both taste and appearance. It's served fresh and hot within a relatively short period. They have a few new games but a few games were out of se
We love this Chuck E. Cheese My son asks to go here for his birthday every year. The package deals make it so easy. Or just coming and playing games for a couple hours is also a great treat. And he loves leaving with a handful of goodies he won. We live just between this one and another. And we usually go here because it tends to be less crowded.
This place is too dirty & run down. The games are always fun but the food is not good. The characters are all really creepy looking & the costumes seem old & raggedy. It's a place where kids can be kids, but it's always hectic here. For the younger kiddos, it can be a little too much. Kids 6-10 yrs old, will love it! Parents make sure you order a drink ??
My son and I attended the Chuck E Cheese on Sunrise Blvd for his brother's birthday party! Everything was coo. Chucky coulda been more energized as he came out exhausted and didn't seem like he wanted to interact with the kids much or even take pictures like they used to back when I used to attend Chuck E Cheese decades ago. Besides the energy from Chucky, five stars across the board.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
