Ok, no judging here, but my husband and I love Chuck E Cheese! We really enjoy the Lansing location where everyone is friendly & it's pretty clean too. My teenage daughter states she has outgrown CEC, but I say no way! Hubby & I went midweek, Wednesday, from noon to about 2:30. Not terribly busy, enjoyed the cooperative games, skill games and just had fun ??. No long lines, open airy games, clear view to see what games are available, clean, and affordable! I recommend for the "kid" in all of us! Cons: fo
Bad experience was there 10 min and right after we bought 40 bucks in gaming alone. They Lost power. It was off for about 30 minutes and since we live far away we decided to wait it out. Employees did not even apologize they didn't even try to accommodate us in any way very disappointing.
Its a Chuck E. Cheese so if you have been to one you know the feel. I liked this locations games less than GR, Kalamazoo and Alpine but one of my kids liked it the most.
Tips for the team there a CC Lansing - I understand not everyone loves their job.... but really? The kids had an awesome time and this place could definitely be 5 star for me (it's not hard in this town). You work with kids and vidio games.. spare a smile, 2 of the 6 team membersI interacted with made small take or smiled, that's dumb and bad business. That goes 100% for the managers as well. I don't appreciate spending hundreds of dollars if the atmosphere isnt 100% welcoming. Visited: 5-23-25, from 12:30p
We went here today, Saturday at 7pm. There were maybe 4 other families in here. I'd call it dead. The employees were talking to one another, but everything looked clean for the most part. This location has strictly all arcade games. For $22 we were issued 72 play credits. Most of the games were only a credit a piece. Great value unlike most arcades. My kids are ages 1 and 3. They enjoyed themselves even though there wasn't much for them. They have 4 ride on rides for infants and toddlers. Maybe 6-7 game
We did the party pizza and it was ok but just didnt taste to good. Usually we get the stuffed crust and it's amazing . We did the top birthday package and the girl we had I had to ask many times for stuff and it wasnt fully her fault I think just under staffed. . Atmosphere is always how you make it. However there was a few people with strong pot oder and with the infants and little kids I think it should be a drug free zone in my opinion
Eating pizza and playing is a great combination that you can have at Chuck E Cheese. My kids were having fun. The cheapest play package is $16 for 30 + 3 minutes ( 30 + 3 points). They have a large parking space too.
Music was too loud, and we had to leave early because a group of people vaping and smoking came in and we didn't want the kids breathing all that. Games were all right
We just came from there minutes ago an TONI gave us the best service. Awesome job! Thank you!
They're doing their best to come back from this pandemic. I appreciate their efforts and cleanliness. I do like the guidelines they have enstated as well, my family felt safe for sure. My kids love to go and I'm so happy that they can enjoy themselves at a Chuck E Cheese again.
Fantastic staff and party advocate! The food was good, music was upbeat, planning was made easy. Great setting, so much to do for every person of every age! We will so this again, for sure.
Food is high prices for what you get but is edible, not great and not terrible either. Young kids enjoy it.
It's a fun place to take the kids and maybe even yourself if there's no Dave and busters around. Employees are very friendly. Food is OK, nothing crazy but it can be pretty pricey for what you get. They are currently running deals for daily play points and percentages off food, which is the way to do it, I think. I would recommend trying it out.
I haven't been to any Chuck e Cheese since I was a kid, but I honestly think it's improved over the years! There was a cool light up dance floor area, so many game choices, great value for game cards, yummy food, and the service was amazing! A young man gave me great suggestions on what to order and even went above and beyond by bringing out a cake with candles on it to sing happy birthday to my child. Another worker came out dressed up as Chuck e Cheese to dance with her and all the staff was quick at help
My daughter always loves it here! The food is expensive, but pretty good otherwise. They change up the menu and games every so often. Their birthday packages are pretty good, too. The best time to go is between 11 and 3pm, it's most quiet during the week at those times.
Had a birthday party there today. Great experience for the littles. Pizza was better than expected. Glad to see Chuck E CHEESE.
They should include the trampoline with the price and have thicker pizza ?? otherwise. It was a blast. Oh and have the mascot out more. Only briefly saw him during 3 hours
Pizza was shockingly palatable. Games were reasonably priced. Kids had a blast. We went on a Friday night so it was pretty dead in there. I don't think it would be nearly as fun for the family if it was super crowded.
Don't like the animatronics and the stage but this location is where I found a token machine near the arcade area and found tokens though history and I do love the live walk around character! I'll only give this location 5 stars if the 2 stage gets replaced with a Studio C Alpha that?ll make the location better, a 3-Stage will do Edit: I just got used to the animatronics and I really hope this never gets remodeled, I would appreciate it if this at least got the 2010 update
It's a bit on the expensive end. The pizza was better than expected. There are plenty of arcade games for kids. It's a good place to take a kid on their birthday in the winter.
The prices have really gotten high for pizza and play. Wednesdays, they have a deal for an hour of unlimited play for $18. Be careful, though, because you have to specifically ask for this special, or they will charge you the full price ($29/hour). The woman behind the counter specifically told her trainee to charge full price unless someone asks for the Wednesday discount. That seemed a little shady to me. I have 4 kids and can never get out of that place for less than $150. Another negative is that they
If your kids are younger than five and you're looking for a fun birthday place, this is great! The games definitely have a variety for the adults as well but the amount of games and unique touches lost over the years like the animatronics, the stage, the ball pits, and more which is a bit disappointing. My niece had her party here recently, and she had an amazing time which is truly all that matters. The staff was very respectful and offered help when needed. (Although they did clean our table and toss our
Great place to take the kids on the weekends, friendly staff, and quick wait times for food
The place its self is just ok, not the greatest games, not the cleanest but I'm sure it's hard to keep a place like that clean BUT I will say the pizza IS AMAZING. Hard to believe a place like chucky cheese would have good food but seriously awesome pizza, breadsticks and cinnamon pizza!!
The kids had a blast, the staff is actually energetic and made this a memorable occasion. Also, the games are actually possible to win at (such as the infamous claw game) my son was actually able to snag this little ball and it was an amazing feeling for everyone involved. (I got overly excited and so proud of my little boy.) Point being, it was a great time and I recommend giving the old Chuck E. Cheese a try. (I just wish it was a bit cleaner, but it's what you would expect, thus only four instead of five
Very impressed with the new system of game play. You purchase time instead of tokens. Makes it very enjoyable atmosphere for kids and grown ups alike. My son lost his ticket voucher and they still honored it like he hadn't lost it at all. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Went to a birthday party here and a lot of fun, the prices cost a ton of tickets. so if you're looking to win big you're going to need to invest a lot of time and money
It was a Busy afternoon at Chuck E Cheese. The place was very clean and organized . We enjoyed the fun we had
I took my daughter here for her Birthday, I spent 60.00 on a pizza, and 2 drinks. Then an additional 12. 00 for her to jump on a trampoline. I dont remember chuck E. Cheese being so expensive! We only saw Chuck 1 time, when we first arrived, we waited a few hours, he never came back out. They no longer have a ball pit, or the climber thing, everything in there requires you purchase a card to play video games. Chuck E. Cheese used to be a place for younger kids, now its like a pinball Pete's.
I went to this location for the last 10 years. I wanted to go here for the main attraction the animatronics last year. But once I arrived the outside was green. I thought maybe just a remodel cool. Once I went inside my frown did not go upside down it went more down That reason is they no longer had animatronics. The animatronics is the reason Chuck E. Cheese sticks out compared to other arcades. I looked to see what they had replaced the animatronics within frustration. I looked and saw a huge screen and a
They've updated the games here quite a bit, and we love the card option now instead of the coins. Worth the $$ for some fun family entertainment. Staff is friendly and you can have a beer while you wait. (Or play some classic ski ball.)
I know it's to be expected ( kids running all over and chaos; It does not disappoint). The only thing that matters is that your kids have fun ( you don't have to). Of the food, I have only to say to say this. Your taste buds change over time and the pizza hasn't changed much in flavor. Other than this, it's still a fun place for kids to go to and enjoy themselves.
Birthday Party for a 5 year old. Great service and game selection.
Had a great time with my son.. kinda sucks you don't get tokens anymore but the games were fun place was clean and food was good
We purchased a party package for my son. The food was not good. it seemed like the pizza was sitting out for some time before it was served. We spent 24 dollars on the cake and it was horrible! Could barely eat it. I didn't see a single employee wiping anything down as far as the games or door handles. Pretty good filler for employees standing around. To top it off, my whole family got sick and was vomiting for over a week. So yeah, I won't be going back.
This place is bad and I mean bad even the staff look miserable. Save your money way better things to do within walking of thus place
ENJOYED MY GRANDDAUGHTER GIANNA'S BIRTHDAY PARTTAY!! THE KIDS SEEMED TO LOVE IT HERE. IT'S FOR ALL AGES. I'M NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE ANY DESISIONS BY MYSELF OR FOR MYSELF...SH$TTT!!
Nice clean place with lots of stuff for kids to enjoy.
Fun place for the family and kids lots of games for the kids and most of them. You'll probably play too.
Good time for the whole family ?? staff is friendly and helpful. Salad bar was nicely set up. Will return again!
Pretty disappointed with our visit today. Spent $175 just to be ripped off. The "E Tickets" we not up loading to the cards correctly. One game my kid and I won 500 tickets. We played many more games after that and before. At the end his card had 475 tickets on it. Made absolutely zero sense. My 3 older kids had 300 and less tickets when typically they have 1000 or more (each) at least after 60 minutes of play. Told 2 employees and they did absolutely nothing. Definitely will not be returning to this locatio
Workers were short wit kids and i pizza was burnt and cold ppl behind counter made kids feel like inconvenience
My daughter booked and paid for a 4th birthday party here for my grandson. And service was terrible. The crew member in charge as out host. Seemed bored, could hardly ever find her,my grandson didn't get the chance to do the ticket tube? Chuck came out once. We asked about other characters advertised "Mr munch" told they don't have that ability or costume but other locations do? Party member ordered wings that were mushy and soft. Returned when realized. They refused a refund because he ate half of the wing?
Had my daughter's party here. Got the ultimate package which was expensive but worth it. Food was good. Party Planner was nice and they definitely make the birthday kid feel important. Only negative thing Id say is party packages are for two hours unless you pay extra for extra time when you book the party but a half hour or so before your party is over they start to rush you and all of your belongings/stuff for the party out of the reserved birthday table area to a normal seat area for walk in guests (or y
I went for a birthday party where I didn't have to pay for anything. Some of the games need fixing but they work almost all of them. For a birthday party it was fun. They do multiple at once like 5. But wasn't really crowded to where you had lines for things. It's a fun atmosphere for kids and turned out to be a great party.
This was our first birthday experience with CEC and could not have asked for a better experience. We booked an opening time party, which for us, was perfect. It wasn't crowded, our party host was amazing! She was on top of it, pizza ordered fast, checked in every 30 minutes to see how we were doing. I was so appreciative! Bathrooms were so clean, very important for a mom with 4 and 6 year olds. All Staff was so friendly, welcoming, patient and helpful! Overall it was truly a relaxing and fun experience for
They cleaned it up since I was here last but as normal there are things that don't work. There is no one that was walking around checking. The pizza is pretty simple and the average level of food. I still wouldn't run over to bring my daughter here too many times but it ok here and there. I was hoping that there bigakeover was more than a fancy dance floor but it seemed to only for the parties. I never saw it on in 1-1/2.
My daughter always loves this place, it is one of her favorites since she was little, but today something horrible happened in this place, my daughter was playing with her cousin, who only speaks Spanish, my daughter. She is fluent in both languages, and while I was ordering some pizzas, a girl who works there approached her and her cousin to tell her that they had to have socks to use a new trampoline that they put there, and she girl I called them ugly, my daughter at that moment had no reaction, they j
This establishment is really good, definitely miss the other play structures that use to be inside. There should be more than just arcade games. It's really hard for the younger kids to use the game cards, as well as read them. The younger children like to run, so hopefully one day you all can get some play equipment back in there.
Thus was a great time to visit as it wasnt very busy. Brian was very helpful during our visit..
Came for my daughter 5th birthday. As soon as we walked in nothing but rudeness from the so called manger (Hannah) rolling her eyes while stamping are hands. Making remarks because we asked about the Wednesday deal. We played games for 2 hours. Go to cash out are tickets and once again manger Hannah has to make the situation horrible. Even her employees are scared to ask her for help!!! Lady was having some trouble with redeeming a ticket coupon we had. (Feel horrible she had to work in an environment li
Great business plan for at least 30 years. Pay to play games that yield tickets of minimal value, but kids still feel that they are winning "treasure". Add price-inflated, flavorless pizza and it STILL doesn't matter to kids because every so often a guy comes out in a giant mouse costume and puts himself in parent-taken pictures with their kids. Happy kids, happy parents! Like I said, it's a great business plan.
Go for the games, not the pizza. Thank me later.
This is a place where some of the staff can be rude to the kids. Bad experience today and during their relaunch 10-6-23 because of the manager who is a young lady that requires diversity training and or to learn how to speak to very young children. She was very aggressive with 3 and 4 year olds as we walked in. The rest of the employees where kind though after relaying to them what happened. Especially, Javone. He is the best and made such a big difference for me today. He went above and beyond and if it wa
I have hosted my daughters birthday twice here and always enjoyed the experience. Their new unlimited play idea is great. Due to the pandemic it had been a while that we had visited here. It's always lovely to come here with kids all ages.
My niece had her birthday party there today and the experience was awful. The manager guy, I think his name was Trayvon or something of that sort decided it was okay to bend down in the middle of her opening presents and have her mother walk away to pay. Mind you he said she didn't have to pay til the end and we still had an hour left. On top of that he gave her the wrong bill and tried charging us 100 dollars more than the whole party was worth. Poor management in my eyes. He smelt like weed and cigarettes
We had a birthday party for my daughter, and everyone had so much fun! The pizza and cake were delicious. The price was very nice considering I basically didn't have to do any preparation. Thank you so much! My other kids and another guest want to have birthday parties there, now, too!
Way too loud and over crowded couldn't Evan enjoy ourselves. Really not worth the hype and expensiveness way too pricey their birthday package definitely not worth it is best to just go in as a walk in. I felt robbed today my kids didn't enjoy themselves most of the games were occupied some weren't working sad experience will not be coming back! The one topping on the food just threw me off.
Great pizza.... Lots of fun for the kids.... Very safe have stamp system to ensure your kids can only leave with you
I love this place. They have a pretty good system in order to ensure no one can leave with the wrong kid. They've switched from a coin system to play games to refillable credit card style system that you can choose to pay for a certain amount of credits or a certain amount of time, which I think you can pause but I've only done the credits. They have a great variety of video games for kids of all ages and everything is usually 1 credit, 2 at most. They have a decent food menu but I've only ever had the pizz
The adults had as much fun as the kids I think! My daughter had a bday party for our grandson and we all had unlimited play. We ended up getting a exercise ball for ONLY 6000 tickets by combining all our tickets from 15 people. The employees were helpful and friendly which was great. The pizza was pretty good also ??
Terrible experience, half of the games did not work but continued to take your points and the manger couldn't care less to at least put a sign on them. We waited 30 minutes to receive our pizza after which we checked to see when we would receive it and were told it would take 10 minutes. After 20 minutes we went to check again due to our buzzer never going off and we were told another 20 minutes. When asked why we are having to wait almost an hour for our order the employee insinuated that servicing the pa
We decided to celebrate our daughter's 3rd birthday at Chuck E. Cheese this year. We didn't have enough children to do the birthday package (only had 4 kids but needed 5 ??) so it was just unfortunate that we didn't get to experience Chuck E coming out to meet the birthday girl. It was definitely more expensive not being able to do the birthday package. Another complaint is that the "rides" do not give out points (virtual tickets). That is what most of the smaller children want to focus on so at the end of
We had an amazing experience! The staff was fantastic and my 7 year old's birthday party was a blast. The pizza was really good and they did such a great job at making my son feel special on his big day. I felt for everything they did the party package was such an incredible value. I definitely recommend having a birthday party here! Everyone had such a great time and our waiter was excellent.
Did not stay! Manager refused to sell my husband a beer because he wouldn't give her his middle name, He's 60! Then treated me like I was trying to buy a beer for a minor and was told that if he was seen drinking it we would have to leave. Not a problem we left. I have never been treated so rudely especially by someone a third of my age. We were there for my 2 year old granddaughters birthday. Never going back. This place is a dump anyway.
All kinds of fun for a child & the pizza is actually very good especially the stuffed crust
Plenty of kid games for big and small, the all you can play 60 minutes for $20 wasn't a bad deal and was perfect for the time we were there. Had rides and things for my 1 year old to do, the little kids all played nicely, but teen kids ruined the fun by starting a group fight which ruined the fun. The staff were all young and didn't know what to do to stop the fight. Bathrooms were clean and facility overall was nice.
Way too pricey! It was nice-and they did a great job. I was a guest at a party. If I was still a young mom- I could not afford to take my kids there!
Had lunch and did arcade games. Food was okay. Prices are kind of high for what you get. Prizes for arcade games are cheap and look like dollar tree items. Worker wasn't patient with kids picking out prizes.
Good value with the time slot purchasing instead of buying coins. Ticket games work with it, the kids didn't really get it at first but reminding them that it doesn't matter how many coins you spend just keep playing. We have never won so many prizes before, ever. Also enjoyed the clean atmosphere, the staff were friendly and hard working.
Was kinda dirty floors and chairs needed cleaned better, but overall worth it for a kids party. Food was surprisingly good, pizza was delicious and wings were killer. Prices are reasonable for party's though I do recommend the unlimited two hour.
The pizza is what it's always been, food for kids to eat around playing. The price fair, and the entertainment for kids is great. They have a safe system for entering/exiting that allows parents to relax while kids run around having fun.
It was too loud to hear the staff and they seemed a little like they didn't want to be there. But the kids had a blast and we'll be back
The entire staff is always super friendly. They go above and beyond helpful. The play pass cards a good way to let the kids go play games without having to give them a big stack of tokens. The games are in good shape. Lots of newer looking games. Having said that, as a restaurant they're not great. The pizza is ok, the salad bar is scary. And sometimes it's hard to find a clean table.
It was amazing and all the employees were so friendly. My son is so happy. I wish that they never got rid of the animatronics which they still have them but keep that location on it made me happy! ??????
Very clean surprisingly! Great workers, fast food service and fun for the children. The machines are up to date with the scanner for tokens. Pizza came out fresh and kids loved it.
Went there for my daughter 3rd birthday and the staff was so friendly and helpful.thank you!!
Chuck E. Cheese in Lansing itself was decent. Having said that, it is NO 1990s 2000s Chuck E. Cheese ... NO ball pit, NO play place... at this point it is ONLY an arcade with some food...... the games weren't anything to rave about either... first time there in 15 years.... also my last.
Pizza & birthday cake & ice cream very tasty. Nice they offer beer & lemonade as well as soft drinks. Great venue for a birthday gathering. Kids loved meeting Chucky & singing along with him & the staff.
Ole chuckle chowders rats pizzeria and casino. Cost a fortune, my kids like it. The pizza is surprisingly good. The salad bar did NOT give me diarrhea... this time.
We have not been to Chuck-E-Cheese in four years or so. Today, March 25th, 2018... The best it's ever been. Very clean, the food was great, the salad bar was great with a good selection, including the pizza, way better than it used to be, and the staff was absolutely phenomenal, including the manager. And, that all leads to most importantly, the kids had a blast and it was a good birthday event. Much better than it used to be. Thank you to all the crew!!!
Love that they have an area for little kids and an area for big kids. The booths are low so it's easy to see across the area. We've had birthday parties for two of our kids here and Jaylah was our host for both. She was absolutely amazing and should be requested by anyone wanting to have a party here. The pizza was surprisingly great. If I lived closer I'd order their pizza for pickup :)
I like the fact that you can buy unlimited playtime or just buy credits if you would like. I brought my daughter 2 hours for around $31.00 and she had as blast knowing she will not run out of credits. The food wasn't bad either.
They removed the play structure so now all the kids can do is play games for more profit.. raised the price of many games to 2 tokens and raised the prices on all menu items a month ago the manager just told me. My kids have video games at home and want to play in the tube. No value here at all due to having no competition they feel they can give you nothing and I mean nothing. For $20 in tokens your kid will walk away with a few pieces of 5 cent candy. So sad
Went there for a birthday party with my fianc? and four kids. What a mess?staff seems to only care about themselves & when you ask them a question they are clueless to the answers. My six year old and I got quite a show when an employee behind the register started yelling and cussing out someone she knew & wanted gone. Witnessed two employees hanging out in some closet to the right of the stage as well. Glad all of these people are getting paid for their outstanding customer service. Also, never once did I
This Chuck E. Cheese is better than it was 15 years ago. The animatronics are all working. The dude in the suit was proud. The woman in charge seemed happy and was definitely patient in explaining the options for food and cake and beverages. AND most importantly, you get unlimited games for a period of time rather than a set number of tokens. And your unlimited games include a crane game and all of the ticket games. How many times can you play skee-ball in an hour? How many rounds of pop-a-shot? How many ti
My 9 year olds favorite place of all time, especially this location because he absolutely loves the animatronics on stage, and lots of locations are getting rid of them sadly. We have had a few parties here and haven't had a bad experience!
It is what it has always been. Dont expect greatness, but if your looking for a cheap night out with younger kids this is a great place to go. We put $30 on a game card for the kids and weren't able to spend it all in 1 trip. Went back the next weekend and practically had a free night out with the previously bought game card. Not a place for older kids i.e. ~10 and under is the right age.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
