Customer Reviews

Customer service and employee's excellent and friendly. Food hot and tasty! Atmosphere is great for Children. Awesome games and new play areas add.

Didn't get any food. My niece LOVES this place. Everyone is friendly.

There was no one at the front to check us in for at least 5 to 10mins. That also means no one was checking who was leaving with the kids. When leaving no one was standing there either . They were out of bone in wings on a Saturday mid afternoon. Not that big a deal but it's a busy day it should be anticipated. Then this older gentleman name Roland took our food without us being done and when told we were not done he says in a rude tone ?he likes to keep his dining area clean?. (But we are not done we just

We had my Daughter's 4 year old birthday party at this location and it was Awesome! Chuck E. Cheese was break dancing and everything! The waitress did everything from serving the pizza to cake to refilling beverages and making sure they understood the ticket blaster. They showed us a wonderful time and I would highly recommend having your child's birthday party here!

I'm so happy that I can share a piece of my childhood with my daughter. This place brought so much joy to me as a chubby kid in South Carolina and it is now doing the same thing to my daughter. It's her 2nd favorite place to be right behind the beach and playing in the sand. She loves ALL the games, toys, soda?s, and I can't forget her favorite food pizza. The pizza is still as delicious as I remember when I was a kid ??. She always makes friends when she's here and she begs for more time here even after we

We had a good time. Only 2 games were down. The Manager came around and gave all the kids a free play swipe with his card. Place was clean and employees stayed on top of the cleaning. We will be back.

Our daughters had fun with their friends. The hostess took good care of our party. My only complaint would be the lack of games and things to do. It doesn't feel very well put together regarding what games are available. It gives me vibes like everything was an afterthought. We did like that the party package did provide unlimited plays for 2 hours for about 160 dollars. A Indoor playground would of been nice.

One of the best locations in the area. Plenty of parking. Clean facility! 2 jumping areas!

Very Clean and the associates were amazing ... Is never a hassle here or a pocket killer!!! I they have the best pizza and wings honestly.. I enjoy bringing not three kids .. only live once everybody..... And they don't stay small do long...

5/5 stars. -My kid had a good time here. -The environment was safe. -The staff was very friendly My only nit pick is that they need at LEAST one more staff member working. The wait time was a little more than expected. I didn't let this affect my rating because the staff that was working would definitely qualify as quality employees. They were prompt and friendly and efficient. Staffing is generally a corporate thing so I put nothing on the staff or location for the wait time. Also take my review with a gr

The game are fun but the game Chuck E. Cheese Rainbow was missing balls and the claw machine was missing

Not sure of the managers or other employees name but we visited this location on Monday, March 20th at 7:15PM-9PM* I had 6 of my kids with me. From the greeter, cashier, and the worker at the token stand, everyone was very friendly and attentive. The cashier was a teenager but was very knowledgeable on which package I should purchase. The manager in particular packed my food up without being asked to while my family and I played the games. He also helped my kids with some of the games and had a very welc

We had an amazing time 11/25/23! Place was very clean and staff was very friendly! And didn't break the bank, which is always a bonus!!! Thank you for making my daughter's first time a great experience!

This was the cleaniest chuck e cheese I been to. Very accommodating to my last min needs. I foster kids and one of their birthdays came up they had never been and they was thrilled.. The cakes was ok but that was nothing they as employees can control the food is good and salad bar is amazing....

I had to update my review from 4 years ago and say that this establishment has really turned itself around. I visit now one to two times a month. The changes the company has made, in my opinion, have made the experience better. I used to look at the salad bar in disgust. Now, it's usually my go-to during my visits. I never really go during peak hours, so I don't know how it is when there are larger crowds. Overall, my kids enjoy it and I am glad to take them.

My son had his 8th birthday party there and it was so great for him. I came with no decorations except the balloons and the manager provided me with everything else. He really enjoyed himself. And they have the all you can play now

Love going here with the kids on week days. Its not as busy. My kids tend to freak out in large crowds. But i do want them go get out more so its great for that. Not on weekends though lol!

If you are looking for a Chuck E. Cheese to have a party at this is the one. We had a great time and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Our server was attentive and was great with all of the children. I highly recommend this establishment for parties.

Our first time doing a birthday party at chuckee cheese in the party room. We had over 50+ people and Chrissy and Amaya were just awesome! We all enjoyed ourselves didn't feel rushed, overwhelmed, or stressed! I was able to sit, eat, and play a few games! I never get to do that at my kids birthday party! Food was also delicious! we had wings, pizza, fries, salad, and dip n dots. Thank you guys so much we definitely will be returning??!

This place is a money grab. Why in the world do people go here and drop unnecessary money. You really don't get to play any games, they're all ticket based games, so there's little fun in it. I want to play pinball, arcade style games, not games where I try to get tickets for useless junk. Yes, you can have smaller type of games for little kids instead of just tickets, tickets, tickets?? Me and another parent watched staff, not monitor the door when people were leaving to make sure everyone had their own ch

A little tight for all the kids running around but it's not that bad. Just make sure your kids are careful with other smaller kids running around too

I took my 6-y-o to celebrate her birthday (per her request) and she had soooo much fun! The games were JUST RIGHT for her age! The games were not too long, they were easy to play and understand. My 4-y-o son who was there too could manipulate the card to activate his own games and the cord attached to the card kept him from losing it. It was a big change from what I knew years ago. The only thing is that she didn't get to take pics with Chuck E. Cheese. We saw him as we entered but by the time we checked in

This has got to be one of the worst Chuck E.Cheese I've taken my kid too. First, do not buy the premium tickets. Every time I go in there they tell me I need to register for it on an app. I've already paid for it and it's supposed to last through the summer. I end up having to pay all over again. That's $80 down the drain. And an additional $50 each visit. I only do this for my kid but I'm done. We were not allowed to use our socks that had grips on them but instead had to purchase the $12 socks. We assumed

Pretty good place for your kids. Clean, kids had fun for the birthday party.

Chrissy the manager on duty tonight was amazing. When we had an issue she did not hesitate to jump right in and resolve the issue. Top notch customer service. Managers like her keep the customers coming back. Will definitely be coming back after the amazing night we had tonight. Shoutout to Chrissy!!

One of the better chuckie cheese's....clean, food always taste good and comes out hot, they even have the trampoline here (it's $12 for the socks to jump) my 2, almost 3yr old loves coming!

Had my son?s birthday party here. The price is great for what you get. Our party attendant/server Carolyn was just AWESOME. She took great care of us. To the management: PLEASE please fix your payment system to allow tipping for the party servers. My husband had to spend 15 min hunting her down to tip her because there was no way to leave it on credit card slip. Other than that everything was perfect, the kids had a great time and I didn't have to spend a lot of effort or take out a second mortgage ??

Still somewhat of a fun place for the kiddos. But the manager in the front is impatient and abrasive when she speaks to guests. Especially those who are seeking clarity. That's a great way to lose business.

We got there around 3:30pm and it was very clean, the workers were very nice and the food was great. This was probably the best one I've been to.

I had my child's birthday party here this week and we had a great time and experience all around. Our server Hailey W. Was great! She was attentive the entire party and patient with my rambunctious group! The only downside is there is no way to tip the servers on your receipt if you pay with a card. Corporate needs to change that policy.

The pizza was banging but the people working there was not it. I was talking calmly to the manager and she just started yelling at me. Like I get you short staffed but you obviously booked too many parties and can't handle the volume. Also I'm gonna say it was an older Caucasian lady and they tend to be out of pocket at young black people. I won't throw a party there. You book parties so you don't have to do as much but when you constantly chasing down the attendants and the host it feel like you should be

This was my first experience at a Chuck E. Cheese. My brother and I brang my niece for some family time. Everyone was courteous and especially Roland. He made sure our visit was memorable.

I get it's stressful when busy but does not mean be rude to your customers when I'm trying to be the nicest to you.

Conner was most hospitable and kind ??along with the other friendly staff members????

My children had a great time. They were out of straws, the restrooms were sticky and disgusting, NO soap! Parents let their kids run free okay cool but don't have them begging strangers for credits to play games.

The staff here were excellent hosts for our granddaughter's 18th birthday. This was a lot of fun and our group enjoyed the games and food. There was plenty for 7 teenagers (2 pizzas and drinks) and 3 adults (3 salads and 2 pizzas). Brought home a whole pizza when we were done. The kids had a good time and got ice cream at the end.

The kids always have a good time

It's hot inside. The staff can't control the temperature resulting in it being uncomfortably hot. Hot, sweaty kids and hot sweaty adults makes for a grumpy visit. Recommend bringing shorts and a tank top to keep cool. Update: came back another time, waited over 30 min to place order for pizza. Despite 3 employees walking by register. Then was told they weren't offering advertised alcoholic drinks because a manger couldn't be bothered get it.

Monday 2/26/2024 I brought my grandkids to the Chuckle cheese at Chesapeake square after school to take a load from the long day, as we entered the cashier that was standing behind the register gave us the mean look like we're going to rob her. She spoke to us with harsh tone of voice telling us to take a picture with our kids, as we were done doing so, we approached her and she still spoke to us very mean. My oldest granddaughter has autism and she loves cotton candy, she saw the cotton candy and the count

Had the bestest time here. Me and my ninjas had a blast. Un cut pizza is the best pizza.

Management here was extremely rude and nasty. I had a misunderstanding with my daughter?s gaming card and how the process worked today, and rather than explaining it to me with common courtesy and dignity, this woman spoke to me like I was lower than a dog. I was accused of trying to be intentionally deceptive, and the issue was not resolved. Crew members were fantastic, food was hot and tasty? But they need to throw the whole current manager out and find a new one. One that speaks to guests with respect. T

I haven't been to Chuck E Cheese since before the pandemic, so I was pleasantly impressed when I came here the other day. It looked and felt very clean. The employees were friendly and handled a small issue with one of the machines promptly and kindly. The machines have been upgraded to a card that is more convenient then lugging around cups of change. The amount of games are somewhat limited, but it was the perfect amount for my children. I will definitely be back!!!!!!

When I tell you I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza I WAS! It was yummy, especially the one with the stuffed crust. The games were great as well

We go weekly with the membership. Staff is awesome and food is good! Would be nice to have a new game or two ??

Main manager was EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL going all up in peoples faces. Been coming here for about 8 years and all of a sudden my birthday party total went up almost 100 more than it should have. I only bought the ultimate birthday package and come out spending more than that package.

We had a birthday party here. Overall it was a good experience. Both the kids and adults had fun. Pizza was decent. Our party hostess was friendly. One of the games in the toddler area was out of tickets the length of our time there. Otherwise all of the games were up and running. I took off one star because of the disgustingly dirty bathrooms.

I took my 4 year old here a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. The games were fun and the pizza was actually good. The atmosphere was kaid back and...relaxing. We went on a Wednesday evening so I'm sure that's not the case on the weekends. My son enjoyed himself so much he wants to have his birthday party here.

Person at front counter struggled to explain how everything worked, especially for someone who previously used coin tokens during visits before Covid. Training for front desk is called for. Pizza was way overpriced and almost tasteless. They charged $3 for a cup for water. Games were difficult for our 7 year old grandson. It seemed like we spent a LOT of money for the games he played, which seemed to last 30 seconds tops. Rewards /tickets for games are stingy given that prizes are worth pennies. Securit

I had never been to a Chuck E. Cheese before, this one and I can't speak for other ones but this one I wasn't impressed with. Service was good, the place was tidy, but just not my thing. I originally gave three stars but just because it isn't my thing isn't a reason to give a poor rating so I gave four stars. For some reason his is a great place, kids love it, all the noise and game machines for them to play on. Food was mediocre, not impressed with the food but like I said the kids and grown up kids seemed

We had a wonderful experience for ours son's birthday last night! We didn't have a party there, but we did stay for dinner. It wasn't packed, it was very clean, and the pizza was hot and yummy! The manager was very helpful and kind, and the staff was also very helpful and nice.

The pizza was actually very good and the children had fun. It's not the best value for the money and should really be a little more affordable for what it is. Not bad for a family outing but we won't bother to come often due to the pricing.

I give it 4 stars because it's a great place for kids. In fact, looking at it purely from a kids viewpoint it deserves all 5 stars. I however am an adult. I gave it 4 stars because for my children or grandchildren to be there, I have to be there too. From the adult side, it's noisy, crowded, kids are yelling, running around, and constantly wanting more tokens for games. In other words, for an adult, it's probably one of the most miserable places to be that I can think of! The food isn't bad though. If you h

First visit post pandemic and this branch (Peek Trail in Chesapeake) was definitely not ready to be open. We reserved a party and arrived 15 min early as directed. Only the manager was there, with the rest of the crew late. The manager let us in and the first thing we noticed was the stale ball pit/bowling shoe smell. Because the crew was late, they didn't start our event until 30 minutes after our 10am start time. That would have been fine or mildly inconvenient at worst if they had pushed our end time ba

Went to a friend's bday party for her daughter. Everything was wonderful ESPECIALLY the customer service. I don't know his name but he was so helpful. We went on a Monday not a large crowd. The cashier was just as great!!!!

We had a mishap that could have made for a really bad experience. We had felt unheard and blown off. However Chrissy stepped in and saved the day and made the experience 100% and didn't let us walk out with a bad taste in our mouth

Parents do not manage their kids there. They act like the have no home training. They take items from the games and play dodge ball where everyone is eating, disturbing other patrons. Like they own the place and the parents.... the PARENTS don't even care! The staff NEVER stepped in to correct any of the children for being out of line. It was really not a good environment. Made me feel like I needed a weapon to protect me and mine from the ratchet parents.

Service was good two young ladies that helped us was amazing.. chuckie was rough to young adult like.. he just acted to unprofessional throwing himself at the children on air hockey table while kids played. Throwing hand signs up. Just unprofessional... 10 and 12 year olds jumping on machines throwing footballs and basketballs all over place... no one making sure the kids playing were ok. And over packed...

We took our daughter here for her birthday. We all had a blast. I think my husband and I had more fun that the kids lol. We went on a Sunday in the evening so their were a had full of people in there and we got a chance to play every game. Like 3 of the machines took our token but it was no biggie. Highly recommend

I had a great experience with my daughter. It was super clean and all the employees were really nice. Sadly we won't be back until they fully open because my daughter kept obsessing over the closed playground. She's only two so I couldn't really explain why it was closed to her. Also there aren't any live Chuckie visits so if your kid gets freaked out by this now is the time to go.

I took my son and nephew on a rainy afternoon for games and pizza. Kendra checked us in and was so kind and helpful. She made our rainy day better as soon as we walked in! She was also so sweet and patient with the boys when it was time to pick out prizes. Thank you Kendra for making our afternoon so fun!

My nephew's 6th birthday party was done here. It couldn't have been a better experience. Everything was very clean, newer games in great condition (I'm partial to kung fu Panda!) Pizza was much better than I remember at other Chuck E Cheese locations. The employee's (especially the manager's) attitudes were extremely friendly, appreciated. Helped cut the cake, sung an danced with my nephew and was just overall pleasant. You could tell they really cared.

We were there for a birthday party. Food is much better than I remember. Disappointed that no characters walk around. I enjoyed the old animatronics band vs the video show.

Women?s bathroom only had 2 stalls operational and one of them had no toilet paper. Game that said 1 swipe for 5 balls only had 3 balls. Another game was missing a ball also. Trying to pause the card to eat pizza burnt up multiple minutes waiting at the register to pause it. Chuck E. Cheese himself doesn't visit any other kids except the birthday party and niece was upset. Place has gone downhill big time from what I remember.

The people were nice, but it's definitely not the Chuck E Cheese that I remember when I was a kid. Everything is super overpriced at this place. A pizza and 4 small drinks came up to 33 dollars. 120 tokens was 37 dollars. I understand covid took the idea of running around in the ball pin away, but have something for the kids to do if they run out of tokens. Like I said, this definitely isn't the place that I remember when I was a kid

Extremely hospitable and more than accommodating. Nice upgrade from blk/wt pics to color. Staff here was great and most of all patient. Big plus in my book. My daughter loves it there so we made it our go party spot.

Great party for mt 2 yr old granddaughter

I love taking my child here and playing games and the pizza, though they used to have deals for pizza and play time now you have to buy separate. We were a bit disappointed too because many of the games were not working properly and there was no one on the floor fixing the games or letting kids know they were out of order. For a Saturday, I expected there to be more but now we know.

This was our first time at this Chuck E. Cheese. My kids enjoyed themselves staff was very polite and friendly. We will be back for another visit soon. Job well done guys. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but had to see for myself. I can't complain at all. So people before you judge by a review at least experience it for yourself. ??

Perfect place to take children ans have family fun. Me and my family celebrated my sons 3rd birthday. Although i think they should have someone walking around just strictly sanitizing and maybe set a few sanitation stations up i think it would be the perfect place. Oh I also think they should make children wear socks provided by chuck e cheese for the jungle gym that children climb through. Food wasnt as good as usual.

"Short staffed" and ratchet, snotty nosed children running around unattended. Worst experience ever & will never go to this location again! Can't rate the food because I was told it would take over an hour for a pizza. Salad bar was a hot mess.....food poisoning waiting to happen.

The team is awesome and super friendly! Inside is clean and the games were pretty much all working. Our kids had a blast for the birthday party. Highly recommended!

I had a birthday gathering at this location on 2/13/22. This place have really gone down hill. They got rid of the token, tickets and the popular games. The token and tickets i can understand but this new card system sucks. This is a waste of money ! People should go to Dave n Busters more options of games for children and for selection is way better.

Unfortunately we will not be back. The food was not great and the new gaming system is not worth the cost. You can not share a card as you must wait for the last game to finish before starting a new game so each child has to get their own band. On my card I won over 700 points but with bonus wins plus the rest of my games but at checkout I only had 350 points counted. They advertised you can pause playing to eat but when our food arrived the system said no pauses remained so we lost the time we paid for.

There was only 1 person to take orders so the wait was longer than desired. There was a manager there but he did not come up to help the young lady despite the line being almost to the door. Some of the games were broken and taking coins without operating correctly. There was no one around to ask for help. The pizza was not cut well enough to separate the pieces easily. The wait for the food was pretty long too. The guy working at the redemption counter was pretty cool though. My 5 year old still enjoyed h

I was shocked to see people gave this place good reviews ! I have been to Chuck E Cheese in NY, NJ and Florida . This was hands down the worst of the worst ! 6 different games we put coins into that didn't work. Neither one of the picture things worked . Several games had out of order on them . We couldn't even cash our tickets in because the one machine they have it there was full . There was quite a few parents that didn't care what their kids were doing . There was one kid who ran and stood in the ski ba

The ticket exchangers definitely need more customer service training. However, the other staff make up for what they lack.

I'll never bring my children back to this location. They have a limited amount of games and half don't work. There was no Chuck E Cheese in costume nor did the robots work. There's No jungle gym or anything for the children to play on, just waste money on half working games.

Roland was a great host. Some of the other hosts acted like they really didn't want to be there. Roland always had a smile on his face.

Everything was spaced apart, very clean, hand sanitizer throughout, and I swear their stuffed crust pizza is better than before. I love that they use the card now instead of coins. So convenient and much more cost effective when we paid by time.

Very spacious. No funky smells anywhere. Pretty clean salad bar and bathroom. I had a wonderful time thanks to Chrissy (Christy) also. She absolutely made the whole experience special.

This place has really taken a fall to the dumps. When we got there they had no dough for pizza, they had no bone-in wings, they had no cheese for the salad, they were out of ranch for the salad... They advertise a big selection for the salad bar but there was really nothing there and to pay $11 and just eat lettuce and salad dressing is ridiculous. I most definitely will drive to another city if I ever take the babies to Chuck-E-Cheese again cuz this one ain't it!

Staff is awesome- especially Kaliegh and Gabe; they're great with my 2 yr old grandson and he even looks for them each time we go. Food is good. My only complaint is that this location has not upgraded to the "play pass thing".

Everyone was amazing. The birthdays are so coordinated between the names written on the coin bags and cups to the timing. Kendra was a fantastic server and host. She made sure everything was perfect and never had us needing anything-- as did Kira. Kira was also very friendly and helpful. The manager, Stephanie, was very accommodating and made sure our daughter's special day was perfect. This is our 3rd birthday party at this location and we have asked for Kendra every year because she was so great! I dislik

Took my 20 month old today when they first opened (Thursday morning, 11am) We had a great experience! The center was VERY clean (a lot of the machines were smudge and spotless) The toddler area was bigger than I expected... four ride machines (Barney, Stuart, Clifford, Superman), a telephone to 'call Chuck E', and then there was the mini playground equipment with a small slide. I decided since he is little we would only spend a dollar unless there was a game or ride he couldn't get enough of. A dollar g

My daughter is finally to the age where she can go somewhere like this, so I hadn't been to one since I was a kid when it was the coolest place to go. There were only a handful of games, no play area, Chuck e cheese wasn't even out walking around greeting the kids. The animatronics weren't working either. It was basically just a fancy arcade where you could get some pizza. I was extremely disappointed in what it has become.

I have not been to a Chuck E cheese in years and decided to take my grandkids. I always thought they had somebody at the door to make sure you don't take somebody's child. I guess their new policy is to take a picture with your child on your phone and then show it to them when you exit. When we left, there was nobody there.

Celebrating my grandsons birthday was a delight! The staff were pleasant, courteous and timely. Thank you for making his party a success. ????

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
