Dirty place, salad bar a disaster as you see in pictures after people outing dirty plates all over she is pouring back into mix dirty container, Unprofessional approach from one of the teams to my little daughter making her cry for no reason at the trampoline I spoke to Luis (manager ) about the salad bar been dirty and covered with leftover food from other plates he states that is not going to happen again THATS IT ( not food safety procedures at all) cross contamination all over Didn't know he was the ma
I visited Chuck E. Cheese for my little brother?s birthday. He received a birthday package for six kids, and we were granted two hours of unlimited fun! Additionally, he received over 2000 tickets for the bundle he had brought. Each child had the chance to play any game they desired. It was an unforgettable experience! The pizza was delicious! I would rate it 10/10. Chuck E. Cheese ticket system is also good! I love it
This place is overpriced and it's always dirty. I recommend not coming here.
Good pizza plenty of games. Got there at 7:40. Very nice staff. Ordered the sampler and a supreme pizza large. Ordered the sweet chili wings yet got Buffalo. Even though it took 25 minutes for the food it was only supposed to take 10 minutes more to redo the wings. Never received them so I had to talk to the manager Mario. Very nice gentleman actually apologized numerous times refunded the platter. On a note the shooting games need to be calibrated . All in all a good time with the family. Salad bar was rea
I'm just too old to be there but it was for a birthday party. The place is very open so kids are obviously running everywhere. The bathrooms are ok just needed to be cleaned up. The smell of weed in a kids place was very disturbing. The food was good and the staff was very attentive to the parents that were having parties.
My friend booked a birthday party. The staff was helpful for her. But when I tried to get a salad, they charged me $14 to get a new plate and fork. There wasn't too much for young toddlers to do, most just the jump house.
My nephew had a birthday party here a couple months back in May , my sister spent 1k here for the party , but all worth it the baby loved the experience. Pizza is still extremely good but very expensive, the workers here are extremely friendly and were very helpful and even lowered the bill so it came out to like 800 but we tipped 200 . We had 2 tables reserved is why it was so expensive and had chucky come out etc the whole party experience for his 1st birthday. the chucky team did an amazing job making
Lots of games and things to do for all ages and seating is near the games so you can be close to your child. Clean and staff were walking around to ensure games were working and if we needed anything. We have visited three in the last two months and the children had a great time.
Clean place and great pizza! I like how you can play with not only coins but with a points card as well. This seems to last longer and machines are good about giving a fair amount of tickets. I didn't eat at the salad bar when I was there but it looked delicious. There is a security system they have in place so someone doesn't walk out with your child. They stamp an invisible to the eye number on you and your children and check it before you leave. It's a great idea and is greatly appreciated.
Walked in on a Holiday Monday afternoon- the place reeked of an awful odor- a mixture of wet, dirty carpet and feet smell. My son is 4 and said it smelled like hot cheese. We walked through the building to see if it smelled better in another location, but it didn't. This is not the same Chuck E Cheese that we remembered from the 90?s. I had to make it up to my kid and take him elsewhere. We left to go somewhere else to avoid the germs in the air causing sinus infections ??
Got the fun pass. My kids love it here!
This place used to be fun for kids but I think since I've taken the tickets away that's not as fun now that they've gone all digital. But not only that the workers don't know what they're talking about and when they sell packages such as the one that they sold me they forget to include that they are charging a separate charge for the new ninjacourse & trampolines that they have now!! They are now charging an outrageous amount to run around this area that is truly helpful if u wanna tire out ur little ones.
They gave us so much insight, helped me through all the sign ups and fun! Food was amazing, customer service was exceeding, I would definitely recommend going and choosing a monthly plan! Thank you ?? ?? ??
I don't like the trampoline/play place is much and you must buy the socks on top of admissions, My kids had to choose games or trampoline and there are no packages for both unless you sign up for the monthly plan. Also the food and drinks are expensive, also the line to order everything is so long because they only have 1 person working that desk mid day on a Saturday.
Very nice place for kids, they also have nice rides for toddlers. Been there for the first time. Ordered veggie pizza. They took too long for the pizza except for that rest all good. Staff were really friendly and fun environment.
Within 5 minutes of ordering our food and drinks, a child knocked over a wine that we had purchased. Managers ?Luis? and ?Jay? refused to replace it citing a 1 hour policy. I believe that policy is in place for consumption of alcohol but under this circumstance, a replacement or a refund was warranted. Both requests were denied. Given that this is the only location in Bakersfield I will continue to visit, however I do feel that management was incorrect in the situation. I have emailed guest relations and lo
I have so much nostalgia for this place. Even now, I'm grown with a family and I still seem to get caught up in the magic I experienced as a child. I'm happy that my daughter has the ability to experience the same fun I had growing up. 10 out of 10.
My son wanted to come here for his birthday. I paid about $40 for a large one topping pizza with 4 sodas. They had cards with unlimited games for 30 mins, 45 mins, 60 mins, and 120 mins for various pricing. I got two cards with 60 mins play time for $31 each. If you download the Chuck E. Cheese app, you get a bonus 500 e-tickets. The pizza, by the way, was delicious!
Great party, great food, great service. I love that you need to be stamped in and out to leave. It's a great feature. The building is really big. It's been remodeled and it's a wonderful atmosphere! Lots of kids always and that's a good thing!!! You can't really complain about pricing everything is expensive now a days but it makes your Visit worth.
I hadn't been to Chuck E Cheese in over a decade when I took my 3-year-old twins. They no longer have physical tickets. You get a card where you load "points" instead of tokens and the "tickets" are automatically added to the card when you finish playing. I don't like it. It's not fun to win the jackpot because there's no machine spitting hundreds of tickets at you. It's not about the prizes, It's about the 15 seconds of gloating while everyone sees you getting your tickets. The food is good and what you w
Had my son's birthday there recently, August 1, 2024 it cost $500. I only paid for six kids at $38.99 a pop. They overcharged me and they bring out my things late. The manager was a male he was not willing to talk to me about, Gaming cards that came out late our hostess bring them out late and they gave us towards the end of the party. He didn't even even care I told him can I please exchange the gaming card which Was a $38 value Trampoline time which was $10 he said no overall my Kidd did have a good time
Just know the trampoline inside it a separate charge not included in any credits purchased.
What a disorganized mess...over priced over booked, dirty many games were out of service, soda watered down and flat, I paid for a birthday package which apparently feeds anyone who wants to wander in and eat from your table food was terrible even children couldn't stomach the cake there's no time scheduled for your food to be dropped on your table they don't inform you it's coming nor is it fresh or even warm...we will never book a birthday there nor recomend it as an option to anyone ever...on top of every
Lots of games and great pizza, try their stuffed crust, you'll love it. A little bit pricey but we'll worth the trip. They also have dippin dots ice cream for a reasonable price. Love this place. Also they have Chuck e cheese on stage every 30 minutes. So come check it out. You might leave broke but you'll leave happy ! 5 stars
I ordered a regular sized boneless wings for $20 and only got 7 wings
Too expensive for they offer.. games do not give you tokens. Waste of money
My daughter loves this place because, well, she's 3. But this has to be the worst Chuck E Cheese?s I've ever been to. It's dirty, overly crowded (even by Chuck E Cheese standards) and the food takes FOREVER to come out. I'm sure they realize the longer it takes for the food to come out, the longer people stay and spend money for the games, but it's very irritating trying to play when both me and my daughter are starving. The pizza buffet on weekdays is terrible, the food runs out quickly and takes forever
Okay place to take the kids. Food is decent enough. Don't feel like there is enough staff to support the customers it has. Staff is friendly. Feel like the price of everything is a little high. Other than that it was a ok visit nothing spectacular or to speak up about.
It's not safe to take your kids there due to frequent fights, low-class behavior, lack of security, and poor management.
We came to spend time with the family. Everything went well and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I'd like to place the spotlight on one young lady named, Desire. She was very cheerful and gave exceptional customer service! Please promote this young lady or give her a raise. Blessings to her! ??
Pricing is ridiculous 1 pizza 4 drinks and 120 play points for 90.00 and half games aren't working not worth the money
With the gold pass for 30 a month, my kids get 240 tokens each time we visit and 50% off food. We'll worth it and my kids have a blast
COVID got Chuck E. *SMH* I understand the animatronics were dated and a bit scary for some kids, but there is no longer a live in person appearance from Chuck E. that's part of kids entertainment. Instead there is a Zoom Video call appearance. The air conditioning should be set cooler considering how many ppl are inside giving off extra body heat. Also the food needed to be ready a bit quicker for hungry children. A few more game for small children would be an improvement as well. But overall still enjoyabl
Latasha was a spectacular host for my baby 3rd birthday !!!! Thank you for the great experience!!!!
I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Chuck E. Cheese on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield, California. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our family's party truly memorable. One standout aspect was the exceptional customer service provided by Natasha and Vincent, who elevated our experience to unprecedented heights. From the moment we arrived, Natasha and Vincent displayed an impressive level of kindness and attentiveness. Their dedication to ensuring a flawless celebration was evident in every
Friendly service, clean environment, delicious pizza!! Try the stuffed crust!! The games all work too!!
My kids had fun staff are awesome ??.
Bad service I went yesterday for a party their and the workers were telling kids to get out of the trampolines and my son went inside to play with other kids that were trying to grab him to take him out he's autistic he just wanted to have fun and the workers were being rude telling me that my son couldn't go in because he didn't have socks I bought him socks but my son took them off and 2 of the workers grabbed my son when he came down the slide and he was getting upset and scared and the workers took him
Clean & helpful staff. Idk if its because covid regulations or new management but I definitely like it a lot better than 2 years ago.
Horrible place. My wife was being harassed my. The senior manager luis and the assistant manager jordan over a braclet for the trampoline that another customer bought and gave her cuz his son didnt use it.
Where do I start? I'm not one that wants to spend time looking for coupons. Thankfully the managers remember me and how often I bring my kids. Explained the summer pass deals and I was instantly sold. I only have to go 2.5 times in 2 months until they are basically paying me to go. It's awesomeness. Staff is always friendly and helpful and everything is incredibly clean for a kid place
Crazy that Chuck E. Cheese actually has some of the best thin crust pizza in Bakersfield! lol They have lots of games for the kids and have Chuck come out at times.
We had not been to Chuckecheese in a few months. But I see they really upgraded not just the food, and games but also the staff. Everyone was so friendly and looked like they enjoy working there. One person in particular who stood out to us was Sebastian. He was very nice, patient and respectful. My children couldnt decide what to get with their points and he was okay with it, he didnt seem bothered or in a rush. My daughter has Autism and he was very kind and patient with her, he even remembered to give he
They were very sweet to my daughter for her 6th birthday and really made her feel like a princess on her day and even let her get in the ticket blaster which I think was her favorite part other than chuck of course. Thanks guys it was great. We really appreciate you ??
My experience was great overall. For it being a kids place, my kids had a lot of fun. It was a bit crowded so I would recommend to go during the week, especially if you're going to celebrate a birthday. The only negative part of my experience is some of the customers who were being very picky which caused the employees to take longer in moving the line. The majority of the employees are minors and are very mature for their age. Most of the customers were angry with the employees for some reason. My customer
I notice the people preparing the food and serving the food was not clean she touched the tongs to the food and then the items people were bringing. Did not change gloves when she went from touching non food items to different items or coming from doing different task. Also she did not remove apron when eating her lunch. The tables were not clean. The only reason enjoyed visit was a young lady who took the extra effort and patience with my children. She was an excellent customer service provider. She w
We had my nieces birthday party here and it was a blast. The employees we're very attentive and kind. This is the first time I've been there since the remodel and I was very pleased. It's more open and even when its crowded its fun to be there. Keep up the great work.
I took my family there/here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It wasn't even packed. Their probably were 3 families there before us. We placed our order but didn't get till 2 hours later. Their was also another family complaining about there order as well.
A tad too expensive in their food.they need better prizes. We had a great time and made the most of it, yet we wont be coming for long time, because at those prizes, we can explore elsewere
The staff was well trained and able to handle multiple birthday events at the same time. Still a bit expensive for a child's event and they no longer have the dancing robots.
Brought my son here just about 2 hours ago. It's been a while since we've been here due to covid. Its nice and clean when I went at 10am. Since we came early, there was minimal guests here so that was nice. The bathrooms were clean, the tables were clean, and plenty of space. I can't speak for during their busy hours though. The pizza was ok, nothing to rave over. Customer service was good. They had stations where you can clean your hands in the play area so that was a plus. Costs of games were reasonable
The remodels & removals of attractions has completely ruined the experience. It's like almost empty in there. All the best rides are gone. If your 1-8 it's fun but no fun for any other ages anymore
So, good ole Chuck E Cheese. They've done a great job remodeling the inside of the restaurant, it looks great inside. It's much more open, it's clean, and most of the games worked as intended. They've updated their games to use a game card instead of the coin system which is so much easier when you're chasing kids around. Now the issues we had. All the soda from the machines were flat. This could be a problem with the machine itself or just not checking them all. Next the beer. The beer was warm and it cam
I love the prices of the games because other places want like 6 credits on the games. I love that you don't have to pay admission. I just take my kids here sometimes after dinner just to play the games when your on a budget or low on funds and need to tire out the kiddos.
Did a birthday here for the first time. My daughter is 3 and has autism. It was great. They were super understanding and attentive. It was low key and so easy. They held the cake in the fridge for us and overall just made the process of hosting a double birthday an absolute breeze.
Only one cashier. Long waiting time to order or buy tokens
I was surprised with all the upgrades . I love the fact that your children are safe so if they run around you can tell safe knowing they can't leave with anyone other than you which is good. the games kept messing up we went on a Saturday but the employees were quick to get things fixed . avoid this place on the weekend if possible.
I would like to thank the manager jay Patel for going above and beyond for my children and giving me a deal for all of them his professionalism and hospitality is truly seen thank you definitely coming back food was fresh place was clean
I haven't been to Chuck E Cheese in years! It has changed so much. The salad bar is mediocre. I paid almost $8 for a 20oz cup of warm beer coming out of the tap! The pizza has improved somewhat but not good enough for tje price. The only good thing is they have more games for younger kids to enjoy. My granddaughter just turned 1and she seemed to have fun! At the end of the day I guess that's what matters most.
We were going to have a party here but we went first to try it out it's Ben so long , BUT OH MY GOD NO ????!! This place has gone down so bad the food was bad the service and they had that floor dirty all over they don't wipe down toys it was dirty they had tables dirty and could not find a clean one it was not busy either this place need to be re done ?? with new whole management and workers who care and love this job! This place is very disgusting and I'm so pissed we only have one in Bakersfield,,, let?
I'm new to town, well not really.Ive been here about a year and a half. Yet when I came it was great. My kids had fun so my heart was happy and content. My pizza came in a cool amount of time. The only thing that I can say I didn't like but then again I did like it was the new ticket system. I guess it just take some adjustments and getting use to
The cashier was great! The salad bar is not well tended to..and it should be for the price you pay. It smells like the carpet has mildew and it is not a pleasant smell at all.
Nice place to play with your kids
Went to a friend?s kids birthday party here and it was done very nicely staff was friendly and helpful. Very well organized and timing was perfect with all their announcements.
Security and employee monitoring is a plus now that I dont have to worry about my child being taken playing around the facility.
The games were great. The stuffed crust pizza tasted awesome. The cashier line was a little slow. The clerk behind the prize counter took a little long. But otherwise the overall experience was not bad. My kids had fun and so did I.
Family had a wonderful time! The unlimited play allowed for hours of fun for our five boys! Great, clean facilities and a wonderful and friendly staff! Pizza was also delicious! All in all Chuck E. Cheese has stepped the game up! We will definitely be returning!
The menu has changed so more of an option than pizza to eat. Staff is okay could be more friendly.. But I understand with all the kids everywhere. Salad bar needs to be kept up better and restocked more. But we had a good time. We will be back.
Way too expensive now and not as fun as before. Our pizza was thrown away and we hadn't finished it. The manager made us a new one so kudos to that.
This place is great for toddler aged children! They have a buffet during the weekdays which does not have many selections but is definitely a good value and children 2 and under eat free. Also Chuck himself comes out every so often to mingle with the children and sing and dance and take pictures which my granddaughter really loved!! Also there were alot of rides and games geared towards her age group...she is two. She had so much fun plus my husband and I both had the buffet and we played games and she rode
Our visit back to Chuck E. Cheese since covid was quite surprising. It was very clean and pretty quiet. The pizza was really good. It was nice and hot and very tasty. Everyone had masks on including the kids. It wasn't crowded and the kids got to really enjoy themselves. Will definitely go back.
Staff and managers are awesome. Pizza is fast and hot, and the salad bar is always fresh and clean. Not to mention, the kids have a great time.
You know u can probably find a rat anywhere if u look for one, honesty. But I'll tell u what my guy Chuck E. Kids adore the guy. We go there at least 2 times a week. And even so my boy David always if Chuck is around wants to get a pic with him. Hmm that's the magic of the place!!
Update; I've been there 5x or more. Cleaning all the, surfaces and floors. Games working. Food hot and prompt. ----- Quite a few machines didn't work. There is no one walking around cleaning the machines and it's warm inside. It doesn't feel relatively sanitary compared to in Roseville,CA. Next time I'll just go to John's incredible pizza.
Wish they had more games for older kids. Lots of little kids sit on the interactive games but are not playing the games and the parents don't watch the kids. But it has good food and the kids have fun. The prizes are a bit of a rip off.
Just to get our food we had a 45-60 minute wait time. Which, it only took 35 minutes, so that was nice. However, it is sooooo darn chaotic in there that it makes it difficult to enjoy the family time or birthday or whatever reason you may be there for. If you need assistance with a game, good luck getting help from staff. For the price (we got a leg pep pizza, salad bar and 2 drinks-$43.00) it is not worth it, nor is the pizza that great.
Customer service is really bad and unprofessional, they serve beer beverages to adults and then leave almost empty beer cups where little children can grab them, I am already watching over my children I don't need to be supervising grow adults and making sure the area is a safe environment, over all not a good experience
Great place in Bakersfield to take the kids. Great customer service. Update... Removing 5 Stars to 1. Reason. Need to put someone else on the costume of chuck.. Please don't put someone the will just stand there. Put a active employee. The will show positive attitude to kids.
I like coming here with family. The food never took long to get. Games are literally 1 coin/credit each. If you have 20 credits then that's 20 games you can play which is cool. Some of their games were jammed but they did try to fix the issue and gave us our tickets. Only issue I had was the Ticket thing where the mascot comes out to gives tickets every hour did not come out every hour. That'd probably be my only complaint.
The games are cheap and it's fun for the kids! Safety in a place like this is very important. We put the hand stamp system to the test. We had a birthday party and we were all stamped with different numbers seeing as we did not all show up at the same time. As my group was walking out I grabbed my Niece who did NOT match my stamp and as walking out they checked her hand then mine and let us walk out. It was concerning that with tons of people walking out the door I just walked out with a child who did not m
They have good pizza and it's a great place to take the kids and and some affordable fun. You pay for games by the hour rather than the amount of games played, that means they can play so many times as they want with out worrying about running out of tokens. Plus it's easier to get the kids to leave when the times is up instead of having extra tokens they must spend.lol
For being as crazy as it is there, they're still extremely organized. And clean, to my surprise. They have systems in place to tag parents to their own kids so that they can't be taken by strangers. And now with the swipe & play system with the card, even my 4 year old son could play without having to worry about coins getting lost. The timef card option was totally worth it. Within an hour & half, he could play as much as he wanted. And the food wasn't bad either. (In comparison to John's Incredible Pizza,
OMG the pizza at this Chuck. E Cheese is the best than other Chuck. E Cheese I went to. There were plenty of games for my 4 year old daughter to play for an hour, and then sit and eat our pizza. Wholesome awesome memories, great pizza, and excellent customer service.
Really good place. I had my daughter and my son's birthday party here. Had a smooth and very great service from my staff. Ask for Harrison to host your party. Very calm , cool and ,collective and will make your kids party go real smooth
This location is seriously understaffed. When I arrived, there was only one cashier and I had to wait about 30 min to order. The place was so dirty. Restrooms were worse. At other locations, I've seen employees out cleaning up. There were no game attendants nowhere to be seen. My 4 year old daughter wanted to see chucky and the only time she saw him while we were there was when he showed up for the birthday party and was sad he didn't come out for the rest of the kids. There is suppose to be that chucky liv
Always have my daughter's birthday here but not at the birthday booth those are wat expensive. We get there before the crowd and play games and eat. The only thing this time was Chuck e cheese came out to see the kids and he wasn't friendly and acted like he didn't want to be there. It's a but expensive. But my kids have a blast!
I went as a walk-in for my grandson's bday. It already look disorganized walking in, walking to our table I kept seeing a bunch of tables dirty and it wasn't even that busy. I bought me a salad which I returned right away because there was hardly any salad out and not as much selection this was towards the evening around 5 and I wondered the salad looked like that! Chucke came out only to the booked partie didn't even walk around. I hadn't been here for like 6 years and I know now why I don't come to this
Not only did my daughter have fun but so did my husband & i. Its a bit pricey but worth it i guess you can say... The only thing i didn't like was waiting in line to place my order or the line for the rewards .... They took way to long.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
