If you pay for a party and have to pick a certain time slot, you should have that slot to your party only so that all the attention of chuck e cheese and the party coordinator. Our coordinator was always the register. I had to keep going back and forth to ask questions, get things started, etc. She was very polite and helpful when she could get to us. AND THERE WAS NO SALAD BAR.
It wasn't horrible. The pizza was actually decent for a chuck e cheese. Our only issues were when we needed assistance there were no employees to be found & why bother stamping us if there is no one to check. It is small & has a very limited selection of games to play.
My best friend had her daughter?s 3rd bday party here, staff had awful attitudes. A birthday party, should have included a host, host was hardly around. First time party at this place so we ended up blowing out candles and then later realizing that we're supposed to wait until chuck e comes out so they can all sing together. No communication what so ever. Also, when I went up to a staff member, asked her for assistance, she stared at me and shook her head as if yes I'll be right with us and continued to lea
We went to a birthday party here. Chuck E. comes out and is supposed to be the main entertainment. He walks just waves his hands! He is not animated at all! He doesn't know any routine moves at all! Basically, he just stands there! Huge disappointment! We ordered a large Supreme Pizza that took 30 minutes! Which was made wrong!!! They left off all of the meats! So they keep it and offer to make another. That takes another 30 minutes. When this one comes out...they left off the mushrooms, which is my favo
My 2 of my guests for my daughters birthday party were harassed by employees about outside drinks. However, other guests at other parties were not harassed about their outside drinks. The manager refused to make the situation right until several people spoke to her about it. I will never spend my money at this place again. Go somewhere else. If you want your child and your guest to have a great time with good food.
Good place for kids. The staff wasn't very friendly but it was also alot of birthday parties going on as well so I can see where the aggravation was coming from. The pizza has improved but still not the greatest. I was a little upset they removed the salad bar for a better option for adults like me who don't eat alot of pizza.
The new trampoline area was a hit with my grandson. They also added lots of new games since we were there last.
We arrived at around 6pm. We were promptly greeted. We did the deal 2 pizzas and 4 drinks for $44. We ordered a pepperoni and a sausage pizza and cheese bread. I was told there are NO toppings anymore. Only the option of cheese, pepperoni, or sasuage. Then we used a coupon for 60 minutes of game play for 19.99. Then we checked out again for another 60 minutes game play and added 10 for one child to jump. We found a table, got drinks, and sat down. We got our youngest child ready to jump in the trampoline
Celebrated my grandsons birthday he absolutely loved it 5 stars for that reason alone
Had my Beautiful granddaughter 1st Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese. They had decorations, but we were allow to bring in and do our own decorations. Being that we were going for Minnie Mouse. The employees were nice and very helpful. The Manager, who I spoke with was very professional, kind snd answer any questions or concerns I had. She made sure our tables was available on time. Thanks Chuck E. Cheese, You Guys Rock!!!
Had my daughter's 1st birthday party here and we loved every second of it. Destiny was our hostess and she was very attentive to our needs. I didn't have to life a finger to do nothing she did everything for us. We will definitely give her another party there. And you get a lot for your money.
Still have all the same games but I really enjoyed the pizza. It was amazing. Me and my son an live on pizza so when we get to ejoy a good pizza, nothing else matters ??????????
We had my youngest 30th birthday party here What a blast. The Grandbabies had fun Destiny was very pleasant as our personal hostess.
Such a fun family environment! I like the remodel it's more open and there are more games. Chuck E. was fun and entertaining and the staff was friendly. We will be back! ????
Chuck e Cheese is just not what it use to be. The games at this location were very limited if not mostly not working and out of order, I guesstimate around 50% of them ?worked?. I do not know how they calculate the tickets won but they are pretty greedy with them, or possibly just make up an amount. My nephew played for 2 hours and only won 150 tickets and it was his birthday, I played for 45 minutes with my two year old and somehow won 350 tickets. Their math is off. With the 350 tickets I got a 5 cent pai
Had my sons 2nd birthday party here today. Our party hosts was absolutely wonderful! She always had a smile on her face, explained everything to expect with the party, made sure everything was taken care of and made the party as stress free as possible! It's not easy to manage a party for a 2 year old but, she did amazing! This is the first time I've had a party at Chuck-e-cheese and definitely not the last time! The GM was wonderful as well, very polite and kind. The team there is amazing and I think they
Had my son?s birthday here today and I can't say enough of how attentive and kind the staff were. They made the experience enjoyable and smooth. The kids and adults had a great time!
First time there at this location as a parent and I'll be honest it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Majority of the games were working properly it wasn't over crowded the pizza didn't taste like cardboard and the staff was pretty friendly. The main reason why any sane parent would want to bring the family here is for the games for the kids to play and be entertained well with having the option of being able to either play by the minute or play by the game makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. And is s
This franchise has made it worth a visit since they implemented timed cards instead of tokens. 20 bucks for 45 mins of play is nice and you can use the same card for multiple games at once. Though I'm unsure if thats against the rules. Food is decent but high priced.
Compared to other locations in the area this one doesn't have as many games. The food is good and the service is good. 4 stars because they lack on the security at the door.
JAVON is your MAN if you need anything. Seems like he is the only one that knows what to do. The lady that was Chuck E needs a attitude adjustment, very boring and unfriendly. I wish JAVON would be Manager and Chuck E
Wanted give the baby a great last day before school year starts and most of the toys we not operating but we made do. The last straw was when 2 grown women were beating on another woman right in the middle of the toys. It tool the customers to intervene. That was it. I was sick that it happened right there with kids watching.
This place has good food and a lot of fun! I like the stamps at the door idea. The layout is great and it's easy to let the older kids play while you sit. As a pretty protective parent, I really enjoy the fact that I can watch my kids play while I sit. I'm a single mother of 4 kids and so being able to let the older ones play while I sit with the baby and I can watch them is a big plus for me! Also, they have the cool dance floor that the kids love. And the mouse comes out and rallies all the kids and throw
Ordered a large Cheese Pizza from Active Menus so it would be ready when we arrived!! Pizza was delicious & then the kids played games!!
Great Kids entertainment! Alright staff even though most of them are pretty young. They do a better job than some places with mostly adults. They could do better on the food but like I said before, it's great kid's entertainment. I bring our kids over here to reward them or a celebration.
My sister hosted my niece's birthday party here and it was a much better experience than I remember when I held my son's party at another location 6 or 7 years ago. The new "time cards" used for games instead of tokens is a great way to play. The birthday attendant was on-point, upbeat and graciously helpful. The young man really seemed to enjoy his job and went above and beyond to ensure that our day went smoothly which is outstanding. He is definitely an asset to the company which is hard to find in y
My wife and I took our little boy and his friend there just to play. I noticed there were several games not working and it's so hard to add up points. Big waste of money.
Had a field trip here and it went so smoothly from booking to competition. So smoothly in fact, that I just knew I missed something. Savanna was an amazing manager who handled our large group like a champ. She was so kind and I was thankful to have her assigned to us! Would definitely do this again next year.
Pizza was actually good. Wednesday's are the best time to go with the all you can play passes. Good assortment of games for small kids up to 11 year olds. Pretty clean on the inside and the staff was friendly.
Brought my 2 yr old granddaughter there today. Employees were friendly, everything was nice & clean. Food (pizza & wings) were awesome, as always! Brought back a lot of memories, my 2 boys (now 26 & 17) had a whole lot of good times as well as birthday parties at this same location. I look forward to making more memories with our precious granddaughter.
Very nice. You get a limited but nice menu for snacks for the kids. Then give the kids the game pass and sit have a frew time for yourself while they're playing and enjoying themselves. And if you want you can play too and have nice time. They have limited games but they all very fun to play. I recommend.
The atmosphere was great. I miss the stage and all the characters that used to be up there then again that's very 90s now a days. There is a light up dance floor that my son got groovy on. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's a bit pricey. Fun will be delivered so it was a close tie between 4 and 5 stars.
Our kids love this place. We've had numerous birthday parties here and the experience has always been great. My only complaint is that there always seems to be a few games/rides that are broken. This kinda scars and otherwise perfect experience. I'd love to see them less reluctant to make speedy repairs. =)
Kids love it here, pizza is always good and hot. Wish there were more things for smaller kids to do, maybe if they would add the tunnel play area like they used to have but then again that might cause issues. Overall good place to bring your kids.
The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the staff was wonderful and the food was actually quite good even though it was extremely pricey. Otherwise I would have only given one star because half the machines were not working properly and their new system of the timed card is kind of ridiculous especially having to deal with a 5, 6 and 7 year old. They need to bring back the token system.
not crowded at all ! kinda expensive! but to see my children so happy it was worth every dime ! cashier was very nice well mannered ? our food didnt take long at all ! they pump you up for the mouse but the mouse didnt stay out long at all and wasnt to enthused to be there ! * note he got hired for the part why not give it your all* just sayin! but other than we will bring our children back they enjoyed themselves !
Pretty fun place. The best part is that you can pay for time (like unlimited games for an hour) instead of tokens. Biggest set back is that they just remodeled and went to a card system instead of tokens, but kept the physical tickets! I'm not a big fan of manually adding tickets to a machine that may or may not work. I lost about 100 tickets because the ticket counting machines glitched.
Reserved my son's 3rd birthday party here, EVERYTHING WENT PERFECT! From the simple,INEXPENSIVE, reservation process to the cleanup at the end, I couldn't have possibly asked for a better experience! We were assigned a party host, and she took care of ALL our needs, above and beyond expectation! I will FOREVER have my kids parties here(heck, even my own!) And will continue to recommend them at every opportunity! It was FUN, EASY, and COAT EFFECTIVE! Chuckee Cheese in Lake Charles is the BEST!
Alot of games were down but my 4 yo said he had "so much fun at Chuck E Cheese" I was surprised at how good the pizza was I've always heard it was bad! We had the stuffed crust and will definitely get it again!
Many of issues. 1: no games for the older kids! It's mainly just for kids under 10. 2: 3 games were not working & the games that did work had NO TICKETS. 3: we didn't eat simply because we didn't have enough and honestly am happy we didn't. I seen about half of pizzas still being on the table with napkins on it. So I'm sure the customers were left already. I won't be taking my niece and nephew again.
Most of the games were broken and it was really hard to tell how many and if you were even winning tickets. Food was greasy and cheaply thrown together. Two star because despite that, staff was friendly and my son still said he had fun.
Horrible experience. They gave our pizza to someone else. Or at least that's what they told us after 90 minutes. Then made us another undercooked pepperoni pizza and we finally got to eat after 2 hours. Never even saw the manager while we were there.
Overall, this is a great place to bring kids. They kids are going to love it here. There are plenty of games with a good range to keep those at a younger age busy and even younger teenagers. The pizzas are good, if not a little plain, but this is understandable since it is marketed towards children. On the other end of the spectrum--the reason(s) for only three stars--there is a lot of room for improvement. Starting with the fact the entire place could use a remodeling. Nothing has been updated since the 9
The waiter there for the birthday party was the absolute best. He went above and beyond. We wanted to tip him extra but they only allow cash tip so fyi bring cash to help out the waiters. The games were great my 1.5 was able to participate in some games and my 3.5 year loved it. Everything was set up super convenient. The chuckie mouse wasn't very enthusiastic but the kids didn't notice lol the birthday cake provide was delicious. The package deal is the way to go just show up and everything is ready. And n
This was the worst Chuck E Cheese experience! The place is super tiny. There aren't many games. Most of the games are for toddlers or ride ons and the very few machines that were for the older children were either out of order or didn't give you tickets like it should. We asked to get refunded after using 2 tokens and they refused a refund so then we asked for the correct amount of tickets we should've won and that was refused as well. The workers stood around and did absolutely nothing. The floors were dis
Staff AMAZING!?? Establishment very clean. Salad bar was very nice. Restrooms outstanding! Cleanest carpet in toqn The entertainment was AWESOME! Chuckee perform for a few kids and about an hour later He performs to a larger group of kids. Took pictures. Gave away free tickets. My little group of 5 left satisfied. BTW I read a bad review about the games half broken, NOT TRUE! If there was any problem with the machines the staff was right there. Visit yourself! The Staff rocks they even had me smiling. Im a
Pizza was delicious as usual. They were understaffed (we went on a field trip with my 6 year old's class and they knew of the event ahead of time) so machines needing attention took a while as did the line to cash in tickets (only 1 person working prizes). Over all my son had a blast and we of will return.
The young people that work there are so kind, polite, fun, and helpful and they truly love their job. CHUCK E CHEESE is fortunate to have such great people working in their Lake Charles Crew. It so refreshing to see people dedicated to their jobs and making the customer experience positive. I think they all deserve a raise!
Extremely overpriced for cheaply made, poor tasting pizza. $12.00 a person for a SIMPLE salad bar is OUTRAGEOUS. Several games not working. And my 3 y/o grandson didnt get to see the "real life" ChuckE??
Love this place. They're always so polite and more than accommodating. We go every week during the summer and my kids love it. Food is always good and fresh too but the staff is really what makes it great. Thanks y?all!!
Staff was very nice and helpful. Except for who ever was dressed up as Chuck. I like the new card system! It wasn't too busy right when they opened so we were all able to have a great time.
Always a hit for the kids (and adults too!) They offer a small salad Bar, pizzas and other menu items. Kids can play games, win tickets and exchange for prizes. A bit pricey as all places like this are. We have visited this location several times and recently it has been even better - Clean & all staff was very friendly and helpful!
Great staff, fun games, and awesome safety for children but the cost and points over ticket ratio is horrible my husband played a couple games and got 1000 point got two tickets. And in those I only got 20 to 60 and got two tickets . The ones I have been to in my past my husband would have gotten at least 25 to 50 tickets
Brought my 7 yr old an18 month old niece here. They loved it. The pizza was decent. Better than cici or gattis buffet style pizza. They loved the games more than the pizza but definelty will bring them again when its too hot to play outside.
Just had my nephews birthday there. Would not go back again. Most of the machines that gave tickets weren't dispensing. Skiball games were missing balls, same issue with basketball. One machine even had the token dispenser hanging out and anyone could shake it for free tokens. The staff couldn't be bothered to help with anything.
Kid's had! As far as the birthday party area's its too crowded!! Also machines where down to cash in tokens so it took forever then once that was done young lady lady behind counter was very ugly to the kids while deciding what they want even told them to hurry up!! There was a sweet young lady that gave my baby boy a rubber ducky cause we lost his toy!
Kids loved the games, however they barely stock the buffet and after letting two families pay for buffet they waited 20 minutes to put any food on it then filled it with 3 pizzas and closed it after 20 more minutes. (We go to eat... games are just a bonus... If you sell me a buffet meal fulfill it! $80+ to share 3 pizzas with another family is not a buffet!) Terrible service and everything is overpriced... will be a loooong time before I give this place a try again.
Need more games for toddlers to play. My daughter really enjoyed the stuffed crust pizza and she's a very picky eater
Same games, same over price food and over price gifts. The amount of money parents pay initially for food and game card, the ticket prizes should be less expensive. I would understand if the large items were quality items, but they are nothing more then shopping at the dollar store.
Little pricey for pizza and wings but very good. Kids had fun. Very clean and well lite for all the games. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Good place to bring your kids. The staff are nice and the place was clean.
Clean, friendly, and finally good quality food. I was impressed with the food and our personal party assistant that was very helpful. A year ago if someone would have even mentioned this place I would have made a sour face but I can honestly say if my daughter would want next years party there I would be ok with it.
I had my son's birthday party here! It was amazing! The staff were awesome and the pizza was great along with the unlimited play during the 2 hours of the party.
It's a little small, was expecting it to be bigger since its located in lake charles. Prizes are really not worth the amount of tickets. 1 tootsie roll was 15 tickets. However, the kids were happy and enjoyed their time and that's really all that matters.
Pretty clean. Pizza was poor quality. Customer service was barely a thing. Machines were poorly maintained. The establishment should be ashamed to be tarnishing this name that shows on its cups that they are celebrating 40 years of fun. I'm surprised to see this place still open. It's name is really the only thing it has going well for itself.
We brought the grandkids to play inside bc it just keeps raining here. They had a blast.
Took my 3 year old for his bday. And had one employee that went above and beyond his duties. Made sure my son had balls in the crane game fixed a machine that ran out of tickets and especially went out of his way pulling benches out to find pictures that we lost and couldn't find he did my wife was heartbroken they were lost but this employee JOEL found them, thank you to JOEL.he made it where I'd defiantly come back again.
It's a good place to go with kids for pizza and games! Some locations are better than others. They now serve beer and wine for adults. They also have salads and gluten free pizza.
The games were fun, food was good, but the amount of tickets required to even get a toosie roll is unbelievable. If they lower the amount of tickets needed for a price, this place would get 5 stars.
Some of the games were not working or didnt have tickets. I wish I coulda got a brief into on what to do. This was my first time at Chuckie cheese since I myself had been at maybe age 6 and I am now 33. Had no clue about the little debit cards ( I remember tokens) so I had to figure that out on my own.
We were the first ones in when they opened it was clean and food was actually very fresh and tasty was so surprised how fun it was keep up the good work guys ??
Staff were friendly but this place sucks. The worst Chuck E Cheese I've ever been to. Way less games than normal and a few were out of service and 2 different ones took my money. We wont be back. Y'all need to step up your game.
Love this location, not usually crowded. Service is hit or miss. All Chuck E. Cheese locations I've noticed could have better/cleaner restrooms but otherwise food was good! Been several times will return
The pizza is getting better, the salad bar is consistently bad. On average 90% of the games are in working order. The staff is mostly friendly with an occasional bad apple
It was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some games were not working but the staff was quick to repair them so the kids could play. The food was ok. Not many games but tons of seating ..
It was my granddaughters birthday, ahw made 4yrs old. We had a great time. Playing games, the servers were awesome.
They had a great time!
Since the recent upgrade to this Chuck E. Cheese, I think it's an Awesome place to take children??. It has a wonderful atmosphere. The food is a bit expensive to say it's a children's place, but overall I Love it!
They really stepped their game up. Now offering beer and wine. Light up dance floor for kids having partys, more new games, flat screens coming from the ceiling. Will definitely be back
It's always fun, but the pizza always seemed below average.Pizza has been greatly improved and was some of the best I've had in a long time.
Not so friendly employees. Not good food. But, my 5 year old likes the games. Many weren't working or just took your coins.
It was very nice not very many people in there. Pizza was good wings were good. The kids had a blast.
All the games didn't work needs a upgrade on kids games for different age groups an more fun games for kids to play with
My son who has autism loves this place. I think some of the machines could be updated because they're hard to win on but other than that my baby loves it.
My daughter just had her 2nd Birthday party n she is a special baby she has trisomy 18 the manager and staff was so wonderful they treated my Princess like royalty despite her condition a very special thank you to her party host Darin for being so awesome bless y'all ????
My kids were very disappointed for there first time ever going to a chuckle cheese, very expensive for the little bit of food we got! Most of the games were out of order. Will never go back.
Came for a birthday party on a Monday and it was so great all the employees were so nice, the food was great(the cake really surprised Me I loved it) , and it was very clean.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
