Had our son Dominic?s 3rd birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese in Harlingen yesterday. 10/10 would book again. Karime was the best host and attending to everything we needed and more. She was very attentive, informative, and patient. To all parents I would so recommend getting a party host so you can enjoy your little one?s birthday. We enjoyed our time and can't wait to do it again next year. ???? :)
I was truly impressed with this business! They put a mark on you and your child if you come in with one to make sure you go out with the same child. The place is clean and has so many games for all ages! Pizza was surprisingly good too! The churros were a bit dry but super cute haha
While at this place I was watching my granddaughter play in the trampoline area. There was no employee supervising the place and there several children without bracelets which I didn't know that they needed. An employee came in confronted my 2 year old granddaughter about not having a bracelet so I advised I was her grandmother he could speak to me. He only told my granddaughter that she needed the bracelet and not the other kids. There are no signs posted and no barrier to keep kids out he could have easil
As always, a wonderful time with my granddaughter! Always spotless, food is good, games are fun! I would like to say a special thank you to Willy.....he is the beat & so friendly, helpful, and all around awesome!
It's been pretty good when attending young kids' birthday parties. The kids have enough games and activities to keep them entertained. Food is fine, and things appear pretty convenient.
I had write this post twice. First time it was some how deleted. But the pizza was very expensive. It looked like it was a small with a medium pizza but we ordered a large. The wings was very small. With only 6. The salad bar was at 8$ a person. The games were cheap but the game time was less then 5 secs of play time. The play area was o okay. I wish they had hand cleaner when going in. To clean some germs on kids hands. But chucky was big disappointment when the actor/lady came out only with the top on. An
This location has an excellent selection of games, and offers enough entertainment to make it worth purchasing 90 minutes or 120 minutes of gameplay. Staff members are courteous, & prompt to fix any non-working/malfunctioning game issues. They have a play place for kids to crawl around in & an area tailored to the toddler bunch that's out of the way of the main play area, so they can play safely (I really liked that feature). The only thing we were bummed about was the ice cream machine not being in service
Staffs super friendly, games are usually well kept , dining are is clean, manager made sure our food was dairy-free for a Allergen sensitive child!
Truly disgusted. It was my first time visiting the Harlingen Chuck E Cheese location and as soon as I went to get a drink for my son I noticed the filthy moldy ice dispenser. No telling how many people including the children who have been filling their drinks with ice. I bet their ice machine is full of slime and sludge. I notified the front desk who said they would clean it, but honestly they aren't cleaning properly if it's that bad already. Health code violation for sure.
Pizza ?? is extremely overpriced. The atmosphere is cool for kids who love to play games. The XL pizza is in between a large medium pizza. Pizza has garlic and taste pretty good.
Excellent customer service, No matter how busy it gets, staff is always with a smile.
I would recommend the stuffed crust pizza and bone-in wings. The staff were very attentive to any questions I had.
Pizza was delicious. Especially the breadsticks ? what made the experience better was that our pizza came out in 5 minutes and hot ?? thank goodness because we were hungry. We had fun with Chuckie today especially the kiddos
Chuck E. Cheese is the pizza for you and me! Place is super fun for kid's birthday parties. The employee assigned to us was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Hot pizza, fun games, and of course who doesn't want to dance with Chuck E. Cheese!! Highly recommend for birthday parties or just a day of fun for the kids.
We hosted our son?s birthday party recently at Chucke E. Cheese in Harlingen and the service was absolutely incredible! Our party hostess?s name was Karime, and she was hands down the BEST hostess I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She was kind, joyful, approachable, informative, had great pacing, and took initiative to help every single step of the way. The food was fresh and delicious, the ambiance was festive but calming, and the new trampoline feature was fun for the kids. The only thing I wi
I miss the bot. Edit:This location is My first Chuck e Cheese.
Great place to have fun with my son. Pizza is ok but they do have lots of games for children that's a plus.
Miss the live chuck e. Coming out every hour. Some of the video games did not work or function properly. These are the areas why we go to this place.
Chuck E. Cheese is a very wonderful place and restaurant to have your children's birthday parties with your families and your friends to enjoy the salad bar and the pizzas too. Your children will enjoy to play the games and win the tickets for some wonderful prizes and meet Chuck E. in person too.
If I could give this place no stars I would. The staff in the front were nice the two girls. The food was super expensive I mean we paid 100 for one pizza and a tray of appetizers mind you none of the food was good we left the appetizers and threw them the cook literally burned the fries on the edges and gave them to us raw inside. The wings tasted weird the bread stick literally tasted old no flavor and the cheese was hard on it,it came off the bread. the pizza was horrible if you want pizza that taste li
Very fun and pizza family good
The maximum ticket bonus is 100 and some other games have a 10 and a 25 jackpot and it's so hard to win prizes
Best, cleanest pizza place ever. Kudos to the management and staff. ?? ?? ??
Awesome location great food great service... it's busy but doesn't feel crowded more than enough to enjoy yourself and the people around you ... Great Job ChuckE.Cheese!!!!!! You out did yourself????
Having five people ignore you in the front is wrong in so many levels when a game get broken. When you let them know they give you ok and dont even move or bother to acknowledge you. Is this am establishment or what? Spent money on the photobooth and by the time they got to it my time ran out 120 mins later really!!
Kids love this darn place. Games are weak. Food is alright. Staff has been surprisingly awesome! Way better than Peter Piper Pizza. But the games are better there. Kids party definitely this place. Casual visit got to Peter Piper Pizza.
Management was very professional and very friendly. The place is neat and very clean. First time I purchased salad bar and it was pretty good. Fruits and vegetables was fresh along with everything else the bar had. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it but I will next time I go.
Spent $80 just to go down the drain, got the food but left half a pizza left and the cheese sticks went to go play with the kids. Went back to finish eating they threw the food away and only left the drinks but the tables next to us trash has been there sitting even before we got here
I went to the trick or trunk and we had a blast. Thank you Chuck E. Cheese.
Staff was nice food was hot. Stuffed crust was wonderful, the chocolate birthday cake is a lot better than it looked. It looked simple but tasted really good. Salad bar was well maintained and had a nice variety of toppings. Really liked the easy access to hand sanitizers.
Definitely some of my favorite pizza; however, the prices are a bit high for even 1 large pizza and drinks. I wish I could bring my kids more often for some good pizza and fun. I'd prefer to come here than PPP, but I think I think PPP is cheaper. Could be why it's always packed over there.
You have a time limit of course when you get the card but now instead of being able to use it quickly after first starting a game you have to wait . This is bad when you're trying to play a game with multiple players. I feel it wasted our time and we didn't get what we payed for on the time.
Service was decent given the "chaotic energy" at CC. We had the stuffed crust pizza, which was actually very good. It gives any other pizza chain a run for the money. We bought our kids a game pass and they went to town on the games. All in all we had a great time!
First and last visit to Chuck E Cheeses. T-Mobile customers not welcome
It was great and the only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is based on the game issue i kept having. The cards didn't always work. About 98% of the time i was getting frustrated with it and people are there to have fun and you cant have fun if the games are frustrating you. Especially for us parents who are the main one's that go there. Just keep that in mind when you go.
I went again after about 8 years for a birthday party. Don't expect it to be the same, if that was the last time you went too lol. Main thing is it's all on a card now. You don't get tickets from the machine it's puts it on a card. No more tokens either. You gotta pay to play, for example 15 dollars you get 30 play points which don't expire, Some games cost one point others 2 depends on which game you wanna play. I found it to be better to get an hour of playtime. I spent 25 dollars for myself. You get un
$16.99 for a 6 piece of wings that weren't cooked fully the manager did address the issue. But young staff they have in kitchen clearly need more training especially in customer service skills. Won't be going back here to this location
I Keep coming back, my kids have a Blast and even the adults have a Blast. The only complaint is that it is not Bigger. They have Great thin crust pizza and make it to order, the salad bar is not a Vegetarian?s dream but it satisfies the plant eater. The staff is friendly. I also like that it is not required to eat there to play, like Mr Gatti. You can eat elsewhere and just come in just to play. Never tried the all you can eat buffet but what I've gotten out of it is just Great place for Family fun, time t
I decided top visit the chuck e cheese in the next town. It was a lot nicer and the staff very friendly and the food was great. The restrooms were chose clean as was the play area and where people eat. Really enjoyed this visit. Chuck E cheese we've around hearing everyone save taking pics with customers.
I loved this place especially the way they made the child celebrating their Birthday so so especial it's all about them..So well organized. Their pizza very delicious. Also I was watching their staff at work .Good job guys, keep it up.
I just went in for a medium drink and charged for a large drink, not by accident, but by greed
Absolutely enjoy coming here every time!
Lots of games for your kids about 30 dollars for an hour of gaming and another 25 for a stuff crust it's a must have
One of the best Chucky E Cheese's I've been to. Staff is friendly and place is very clean. They have a play ground area for the kids to climb and get their energy out. I hadn't seen that in a Chucky E Cheese before but it was a cool surprise. Very fun place to go.
We have my children's parties there all the time. It's fun and safe for them. We know they can run and play without worries. And the wrist bands are time play not pay as you play.
Very clean, food came fast. Only one person working so it's slow trying to get help.
Had my daughter's birthday party here. The staff is amazing!!!!! The pizza is good! Rather go here than peter pipers because the coin situation.
Games are ok. Which there were more games that spit out tickets in large amounts. Most games are 1 ticket... 15-20 at most. Pizza is ok. Not the best. Same with salad bar. Kids love it, and they throw a great birthday party.
The pizza is just plain no real taste it was fresh as in piping hot. Don't know when they changed the game play but I'm still on the fence about it. You can choose to either play by time or tokens which both come on a play card similar to a debit card but you tap to play. Tickets are now also loaded onto the card.
??. Didn't know they have cakes AND candles there too! Impromptu birthday get together and my friends were excited to find they sold cakes. Simple but so convenient!!
We've hosted and attended a few birthday parties here. The kids always have fun. The place is clean and the staff is busy but friendly. Surprisingly, the pizza and sandwhiches are very good.
You can enjoy the food while watching the kids play and not be so worried about them getting lost. A plus for us moms ??
Chucky Cheese here in Harlingen is always great for my son and I. We go for the games not so much the food. We never eat there we just get the $20 game pass for a hour and watch him run crazy. This a place we go about 10 times a month.
Willy and the staff always treat us(my son and I) well. We always feel welcome there. Thank you Willy!!!
It's a very kid friendly area. Nice games but they are always out of order. Staff seems kinda bored. Some are outgoing but others aren't as much. They seem like they would rather be elsewhere.
The staff is friendly and the store is clean. I feel comfortable letting my kids go off and play on their own. Salad bar is always freshly stocked!
Excellent tasting pizza cooked nice and crunchy along the edges. Our children family and friends all enjoyed. Thanks for a fun Sunday. J.
Had my daughter's birthday their today and it was absolutely wonderful! AMAZINGGGG staff, very helpful and super friendly. Food was good also.
This was my first visit and for my grandson birthday.. They did a good job and Chuck Cheese was kool and playful with my 11 month old son? Great job guys..
Great for my 2 year old has a lot of games for her age unlike peter piper pizza. Food is good as well. Well definitely go back for her.
Great place for kids to play. Not as loud as Peter Piper. Food tastes good but a little pricey. No specials or bargains at this place, unless you look online before going!
Very expensive,.1 pizza, four drinks, and 120 points cost about 75$ but the kids had fun.
There was a roach at the salad bar and the worker just killed it with his hands. It was disgusting!
One of 3 families inside Chuck E. Cheese today. All safety precautions were being enforced due to COVID-19. Everything was clean. Staff were friendly. Great atmosphere.
Always good pizza and great games. They also have where u can pay 10 bucks for 30 mins of play time. I got 60 mins for 20 bucks... a lot more play time for less money than what i spent at peter pipers
Pizza has improved since I last took my family well worth the visit. Only thing i would like to see is additional prizes had a blast with my girls however.
It great for children's partys love the card loading over token op games and they take child safety seriously
Great place for kids to have fun. Need some improvement on the food though.
Thay have the best salad bar.. the kids looked like they were having a BLAST. The only thing is that I think their choice in what they get for their tickets are pretty high other than that I enjoyed myself
Salad bar is messy. Pizza is delicious! I like coming here because everyone and all of the ratchet kids at PPP annoy the hell out of me. Its a bit pricey, but I'd rather have my child play in peace rather than free-loading kids trying to fight for games at PPP.
Apparently you cannot schedule a party the day of the event. While I'm sure I should plan ahead you should have at least let my little one do the ticket grab for her birthday. Thanks for messing up her special day!
It was great everyone had a smiling face staff was very helpful when as needed, due to staff & there positive vibes made it an awesome experience. Thank you yall guys for an outstanding job & performance. Salinas Family
In MY OPINION it was way better than peter piper pizza or as takuache people from the nasty valley would say "Peter's pipers pikza" it was cleaner, the staff was very friendly and the games were based more towards children but still it was a lot of fun for the little kids there. I was there for a birthday party and was very surprised by the service, staff, and assistance that the parents were getting. Definite contender versus peters pipers pikza oops I meant Peter Piper Pizza. Sorry.
No smiles on staff whatsoever. Had to clean table due to no available, clean tables. Fountain drink and salad area were a total mess...drink and lettuce everywhere. 2 stars for taste of pizza.
Kids love to come here. During the summer, we get them the summer pass, so we come here at least once a week.
Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday and we ended getting sick.Me,wife and 3 boys all ended at the hospital or doctor.Never going back and we only got 2 peporoni pizzas. We never go out to eat because of food poisoning and we paid the price big time. They brought the pizzas to our table super fast and I was surprised but I guess they were sitting in the back until someone ordered some pizza.
Great place for kids food was great.
The salads great the cottage cheese is awesome. And pizza is good both fun and games there are also pretty good overall the whole family enjoys it Everytime we go.
Pizza sizes are smaller than expect, not the best pizza even though they are highly priced. Not enough employees to help when you need extra plates or forks. have to wait to get an employee.
It was pretty expensive and the food was just ok. The best part was buying the bracelets and having a whole hour of playtime without buying tickets.
We love coming here Mika comes with her daddy and every time she plays games SOMEHOW she always wins and gets a lot of tickets a lot of points
Employees are very nice, just don't like the new card thing to play games, last time we got a 100 tokens the kids got tired of playing had alot tokens left over, then we go back and got the same amount 100 but in card , and it was so fast that we needed to put more money in to those cards again, other than that everything is great
Best Chuck E. Cheese I have ever been to!!! The general manager here goes above, and beyond to provide excellent customer service, and a wonderful experience !
Great place for children to play and have a good time. Prices are fine and with the unlimited playtime cards it definitely increase the fun parents can have as well
Good fun for kids. Great game selection for 4-10 yo. Decent pizza. Wonderful staff.
Great pizza great games. My kids love this place. It is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it once in a while.
We had a great time celebrating a birthday party in comfort, great staff and good food. Loved the salad bar.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
