We went here yesterday and it was chaotic, the trampolines are $15 extra and there is no safety at all, my son got injured by an older child who was jumping on the trampoline with no wrist band! The child ran in, pushed him, then jumped on his leg and ran out!, the worker would occasionally come and check wristbands then leave the trampolines completely unattended. It's such a big safety issue to have 4 trampoline squares with 20 kids in there jumping, there should be a rule where 1 kid per square at all ti

As the adult person in the group that has always loved the arcade, this Chuck E Cheese has the best game!!!! All my old favorites, my children's faves, three rides for different pictures! This was great! The trampoline part is very big and open! My six year old had a blast!!!! And since we have a membership, we can go try them all. So far this is my fav, but it's not close like others. But it's worth the trip

I absolutely LOVE bringing my kids here. From ages 7 up to 15 and I, myself, have fun. The only thing I've noticed is the the pizza is getting thinner but the prices are getting bigger. The pizza is delicious! However, $15 for a pie that's smaller than the frozen aisle Red Baron pizza is a bit much. But the staff is ALWAYS great and friendly and ready to help. The building and bathroom is always clean despite all the kiddos. And they have a new mini trampoline area!(play socks cost extra)

My son got invited to a birthday party here and had the time of his life. There is a trampoline section, arcade, light up interactive dance floor. I can't speak on the cost of everything since games and pizza were provided through the party. It was very crowded and there were a lot of birthday parties going on. They did a good job acknowledging each birthday kid and making it fun for the kids.

Nice Chuck E Cheese! We went on a Tuesday shortly after opening. Pizza was good, salad bar stocked and fresh! There were a few games that did not work and the sketch/photo machine printed blurry pictures which is a bummer because its one of our favorite things to do every time we go to a Chuck E Cheese. The folks working were nice as well. Overall a good time.

It's fine, mostly clean, although sometimes the floor is super sticky, and the bathroom is gross. Seems like only one or two games are ever down. My kids really love the trampoline ($10 extra). The employees are always really nice and helpful.

The new face lift and remodel has made this place much nicer! Super clean now and loads of fun for the kids!

In early December 2023, I had my daughters Birthday party here and it was amazing!! ? We had the Ultimate fun package, and i added a Hello Kitty Cake from here! All the kids had a blast! Those reusable cups are so cute, everything was decorated beautifully, had enough room for everyone, and everything was so neat and clean! When my daughter had her 2nd B-day at our house, no one showed up. It was terrible for me and her, but This birthday was so magical that all the bad memories faded away, it felt like it

I took my child here yesterday for her birthday because she just wanted to play and wanted to see chuck e, however, i was very disappointed at whomever was in this suit. The person in the suit ignored the black little kids trying to high five him and my daughter stood right in front of him and kept reaching her hand out and tried to give him a hug and he ignored her. This place is suppose to be for children and they get excited, clearly the people you all put in these suits now do not make it exciting for t

Kids have fun that's all that matters however, the staff at the front counter can be hit or miss with customer service sometimes !

My kids had a great time playing the games, which makes me happy. But buyer beware: if you want to splurge and get the ultimate birthday package, you won't get everything it says online. That really needs to be updated because it is super misleading. You will be told that the "double ticket blaster experience" is just the name of the ticket blaster machine, and your "birthday star" only gets to go in once, even though the difference between birthday packages shows either one or two experiences. So why am I

My daughter turned 3 We celebrated her birthday here Had a better time home it Was kind of cheesy ??

Hey folks, don't snooze on the Chuck E. Cheese membership! Seriously, with the gold plan, you get 250 games a day. That's right, 250! Plus, you get half off on food and drinks, so you can finally afford to feed your kids and keep them entertained. While the little ones are busy conquering arcade worlds, the moms can kick back and chill for hours?it's the ultimate win-win! And let me tell you, the service and food are so good, you might just start believing that Chuck E. himself is a gourmet chef. Bon app?ti

Great place for kids!! I brought my 2 year old nephew here for a night of fun and he thoroughly enjoyed himself! It was a very nice and clean establishment, had many options for the kids to play, and the staff was polite!

My kids really like this place. More games would be nice. I like that they added a ultimate games during a certain amount of time. Workers keep tables clean and most games operating. I don't go often because it's gets played out quickly but I have a good time with the kids when I do go.

First of i wanna thank our host the manager Jamie she was amazing. She made the whole chuck e cheese birthday experience fun for the kids and a breeze for the parents! The place is clean, the food was served fresh & most of all the price is very affordable. We will definitely visit this chuck e cheese location again and recommend it to family and friends! Kudos to the crew!

Staff is great, Jamie ( a manager) knows all my kids by name! The food is always good, the salad bar is clean. The birthday party I had there for my 3 year old was so much fun my twin boys want their birthday to be there this year too! The host was very energetic and great with kids!

Updated 2023 This location has games older kids can enjoy and I love playing skee ball. Sometimes we go for a quick 30 minutes just to play a few games and do something different. The employees were very friendly and helpful the last time we went. So strange that the stage is gone now :( but the kids didn't seem to even notice?! ... Fun, clean, great deals on playing games, lots of variety. ..pizza and salad bar pretty good too :) Great entertainment for the kids.

We had a blast here! It can definitely keep kids busy for 2 - 3 hours easily.

I love this Chuck E Cheese. It's so easy to maneuver around. Everything is so spacious I can always find my daughter when she tends to run to different games. It's very clean on the inside as well. I've never had a bad experience here. We also had a birthday party for her here once. We come often.

Excellent service! We came here for my sons birthday and joe took very good care of us. He did a great job making sure my sons party went smooth would highly recommend coming here. We will definitely be back soon!

Very Pricy but it was worth at the end! The staff is very sweet but the worker who stood out the most to me and my husband was Michael. He was extremely sweet to me and my family and even gave my kids extra candy even though they only had like 12 tickets! We will be back!

Extra polite employees. Super clean. Going through extra measures to keep it as safe from corona as possible including temperature checks at door. We had a great time.

Lynnhaven is the best location in Hampton Roads that I know of. Familiar staff, good food, good customer service and enough games that we can go here every week all summer long and still have a good time

My experience this past weekend was phenomenal, thanks to Samaya! I just asked her one question but she went over and beyond to help me with making my daughter?s 1st birthday special! I forgot to make reservations since I was traveling from NC. Samaya found me a table, helped me set things up and offered to give me cake cutter and candles that I forgot to bring! Samaya, thanks again for having such excellent customer service!??

I don't usually leave reviews but I had my little ones first ever real birthday party at this location, and it was a hit!!!!!! I want to give another big thank you to Jacob, Joe, Nylah (i am truly sorry if i spelled any names wrong) these three were the ones that I interacted with the whole time. I was anxious majority of the party but they made the night one to never forget. I cannot express how grateful I am for that. I will definitely be coming back for another party and just to play.??

It was excellent. My nephew had a great time for his birthday party!

Brand new location when we went. The atmosphere was great for younger kids...grandkids loved seeing the tickets come come out of the games. The food was good...pizza and fries. Drinks were refillable. And ice cream was available for purchase. There is a salad bar. The grown kids got good prizes for themselves and their kids.

We got cards to go back we had fun

Michael did an amazing job in helping my birthday party be amazing in both service and food. He helped us out when there was a rush in customers and made us feel welcome, very professional and had an amazing smile.

We didn't eat here. We just took our toddlers for a special surprise after dinner. They have timed unlimited play now! We paid for both babes to have 30mins of unlimited game & ride play for $20/ea, and they had a blast! My daughter keeps asking to go back literally every day!

They have a new trampoline area inside Chuck-E-Cheese..however it's additional price ( and a large price) 1 pizza and 4 drinks 1 game card already cost me 85.oo dollars...My 3 year old doesn't understand why 1 or 2 kids are jumping and they cant... because I will not pay the ridiculous price!!!!! Let all the kids play!! You should be ashamed of yourself

First off, Jamie is a Superstar. From the second we walked in she was on the case, she also had a second party to host next to ours and did a stellar Job. If corporate wanted a training on a Chuck E Cheese party host, Jamie should be the example. World class service and she engaged with the kids, both my wife and I, even with our guest parents. I have been to countless Chuck E Cheese birthdays at several locations and this was the second we have thrown for one of our children. I went in with a fairly lows

I was here to attend a birthday party. I was very surprised they checked everyone in & out to make sure the right person was with the right child. At places I've been to before, this was supposed to be done and was not. The entertainment was great, the workers seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their job or at least get paid enough to act like they do. You can do unlimited play cards which is great! I will definitely be going back!

I threw a birthday party at this location and the staff and facility were fantastic. Everything was ready to go...kids loved the food, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the building was clean.

Plenty of places to park in the parking lot and it's pretty clean! Plenty of lighting and I feel safe walking from my car to Chuck e cheese even with kids!! The staff is super friendly and very helpful! I absolutely love taking my daycare kids here! They have a great selection of games and I've never had a problem with any of them working. I was surprised to find I like the pizza and the food. Their pizza's pretty good and their salad bar is as well. This is a good place to let your little one run energy

It was nice and clean. The kids weren't too out of control. Chucky handled excited kids well. Staff was friendly. My son lost a really nice hat of his and they let us back in to look. I called back the next day and someone took the time to walk around and look for me. That's great customer service!

We took our Granddaughters here while at Sandbridge on vacation. I haven't been to one since our sons were little and it was so clean and fun! Lots of music and the pizza was amazing

I just want to give a special shout out to the staff at the Chuck E Cheese location in VA BEACH and the managers Juan and Joey... They are ALWAYS going above and beyond for myself and my son. Also, one of the things among many things that stands out to me is how kind they are with their colleagues.. They provide a very fun and welcoming working environment for them which I think is EXTREMELY important especially considering weekends can get VERY busy and hectic... Even though they provide a very fun and wel

Chuck E Cheese on Lynnhaven Parkway this year for my daughter?s 5th birthday was the best ever! Savanna was the absolute best!!! She wasn't trying to just make a buck, I know because I was a seater, server, and bartender back in the days. She wanted my girl to have the best day ever! She was so attentive and kind, all the kids had the best day ever! If you are looking for someone who is this kind and fun, get Savanna, period! The rest of the staff are gems as well, I lost my keys and they all never stopped

Great place for young kids. I didn't have to worry about older kids running them over. Some great summer packages as well. Food was good, bathrooms clean and staff was nice.

The food is okay but the games are great. Good mix of games for all ages. Excellent place to take kids, after several days of bad weather, to burn off energy.

Birthday Parties at Chuck E. Cheese are so much fun for the kids even up to the age of 10. They love using the photo booths and taking photos with their friends. There is plenty of space to sit but I wish there were some more games because I don't sit at all, when I go it's Parent play time as well ??Checking out your points at the end of a birthday party is the hardest part. I just told my kids we will save our points and do it next time.

We had our son?s birthday party here and I was very pleased with the entire experience. Our party host, Samaya, greeted us at the door and was a gem the whole day. She took care of everything we needed and was so kind. The facility was clean and everything ran smoothly. My son absolutely loved the ticket blaster! The kids and their families had nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience!

As an older person...this place is too loud and busy for me but my granddaughters love it so I deal with it!

First things first, Thank you so much Mike for everything you did for my sons party! This guy deserves a raise for sure! The way Mike took control and help guide us with the party after me and my wife were all over the place. He did it with ease! I loved how the party was run all the way through. And, me, my wife, our guest, and especially our son had a blast for his birthday! Thanks so much again Mike!

I didn't eat anything. But I can tell the kids enjoy themselves. Some of everything a child can do in Chuck cheese to have fun. ?? ??

Great fun for the kids! Lots of arcade style games that kids of all ages will love! You can buy game cards with time loaded (unlimited play for x time) or loaded by points (most games take 1 or 2 points to play). They host birthday party packages as well and can easily host 3-4 birthday parties at one time (we had party of 15). It was crowded when we went (around 1pm Sunday) but thats part of the atmosphere ???? parking can get full during busy times

My first time to a Chuck E. Cheese! I had so much fun with my 5 year old granddaughter! The games were a blast! I highly recommend it!

For anyone who is thinking about booking a birthday party here, go ahead and DO IT! This place is amazing! Also if you can, request Michael as your party server/coordinator. He was awesome to have as a host! Also this place is EXTREMLY clean and organize so wouldn't have to worry about that either!

We regularly attend their monthly Sensory Sunday event. Staff are friendly & welcoming- Jessica & Juan are super kind & helpful. Food is always fresh & tastes great. We look forward to next month's visit!

My kids love getting the summer fun passes each year. Great rainy day activity. Wish had more games that werent coin slot games but, passed that never had a bad experience here.

Oh so fun and not crowded. Great new pay per the hour and more.

Was there for my grandson's 3rd birthday party. We had lots of fun. Made me feel like a kid again.

I am PTA President at Holland Elementary and a local business owner of Justin Watson Realty. We partnered with Chuck E Cheese for a fundraiser last week and I cant stress to you enough how amazing everything was. First of all, from a fundraiser stand point...It was so easy and did not require a lot from us. The second thing I'll say is the GM Timothy McGuire was awesome! He and Chuck E both showed up at the school to get the kids excited for the event, and the students loved it. I would absolutely recommend

Freaking awesome man. Came in for chuckle cheese specifically because that's all my granddaughter wanted, but we had to pay 150 and 5 other kids. We came with 3 children ( all siblings) their mother and myself( the biggest kid) AKA grams. Sucks there's not another way to come in play a few games and see chucky cheese. Man when my girls were young Chucky was always mingling with everyone for a certain amount of time then he'd come out on stage with other characters and sing and dance. But the games were ou

My family and I appreciated both the food and service provided! My son loves the food, games and atmosphere and he's always treated like he's part of the Chuck E. Chesse family wherever we are there. We love the recent updated renovations and look forward to going back again for the grand opening!

So many birthday parties! Sunday morning had the place full of non-stop Birthday parties with kids 3-7 years old. Lots of kids playing baby casino games! But that's what they come for. Place was clean, food was typical, and party hosts and hostesses did their best.

We went to Dave and Busters at first, but my child did not enjoy it, so we came here instead. He enjoys Unlimeted Play a lot. He preferred it more. Free play is fantastic!

I usually take the kid once a month or so and he really enjoys it. Very kid friendly atmosphere and their pizza and salad bar is pretty good. I love the new changes as far as getting more points to play games and how things are upgraded. The staff was very friendly but my only complain or thing is maybe something different for the salad bar when it comes to getting plates. If the cashier has customers there is no one to give you a fresh plate until they are available.

I went for my great grandson's second birthday party. They entertain the children and all of them were so happy.

Had my son Elton?s 4th birthday party here and it was a blast! Staff was very accommodating to his friend who has no ears. Will be returning.

Our daughter?s 6 birthday was an absolute success thanks to Jose, our host. I wish I could have given him do much more than a 20% tip! The unlimited games for a set timeframe was GENIUS!!

Had my youngest's 1st bday here and it was amazing. The staff was so attentive and did a great job hosting us and accommodating my family. Awesome place for the kiddos

My kids love coming here, pizza is good!!

I am going to start off by saying that I hate Chuck e cheese because the place is ridiculously expensive. However, my grandbaby had a blast! It's tough for me to process spending about $50 bucks for a pizza, a few drinks and about an hour of playing time but this place has a magical formula for showing kids a great time. In retrospect, it's cheaper than Disney and I blow $50 bucks on fast food or binge purchases all the time so I guess I should find it in my heart to love this place. They've stepped up the

This is more of a personal anecdote, but I used to come to this location as a kid. I remember seeing the commercials on Nick whenever something new and exciting was introduced. The atmosphere was perfect back then, you'd always here the hum and tune of the arcade machines with their electronic beeps and sprites. Not sure if they still do it, (haven't been in a couple years) but that hand stamp always felt like a badge of honor, the uv always tripped me out. I Always went toward the skee ball and jurassic pa

This is the second year I've had my daughters birthday party at this location. We usually do the VIP parties and everyone is always amazing. Today we had Mike as our server and he made sure everything was so perfect. He went above and beyond. His energy was great.

I just CANNOT believe they took out the play tunnels. I. Am. So. Upset. Unfortunately for our family, we just can't afford to spend $50 on tokens every time, and before they took it out at least once the tokens were gone we didn't have to leave. Is that the game? Get out after all your money's gone? We will def be looking for alternative activities. We were just there for a birthday and the food selection was much better than previous, however it was not very good. Except for the bread sticks which tasted l

Their food is great. Decent place for a birthday party. 20 dollars gets you 45 minutes of game play or maybe 15 games. You have to spend a lot of money to get the food prizes unless you want a mini piece of candy or stickers something small. But with that being said they do have something for the kids no matter how much they win.

My children love it here. This one is what I would call a medium sized one. I've been to smaller and larger CEC's. The staff were extremely friendly. My only complaint is the price. We paid right at $100 for a large pizza combo with 4 drinks, one salad bar, and 2 60 minute play cards.

Decent experience. Came for a birthday party for my daughter themed barbie. Came in and was informed they didn't have the cake. Would of appreciated a heads up before the party began since they informed us they found out they didn't have it that morning and the party was at noon.

First for grandson 4yrold birthday. Wasn't ready for us. His host was eating, 2 or 3 cards didn't work For the kids, Brought the adult pizza out 1st, Cold before kids feed to hang out. Very rude about the money machine. Told a 4yr old tuck your shirt in. Come on wow..... he didn't even go in got scare of the talk about the ticket machine.was pretty much rush threw the cake eating part. Wasn't like last year. Forsure upset 227.000 later not worth

The CLEANEST and nicest Chuck E Cheese that I've ever been to, and I have been to dozens of them across four states now. The play area is large enough for kids to play without losing sight of them.

Staff and manager were really cool. My kids love this place, I somehow managed to never go here as a kid. Son had his Bday here and had a great time. Ngl, the pizza is pretty good, too.

Sensory Sunday is fantastic for my neuro divergent kiddos! The staff is super friendly and helpful. A lot of the arcade machines previously out of order are back in service. The stuffed crust pizza brings me back to my childhood.

I had a great time here and the staff was very friendly as well ??????????

Not bad. Nice staff and fairly clean, as clean as they can keep it with it being a full house and all. Pizza was good, didn't taste all that fresh but still good. I remember the pizza being so good when I was a kid. all of the games were up and running, which is always nice. My daughter had a great time. I like that most of the games require only a token or two, that's a plus.

We had a wonderful experience here for my daughter's birthday. This location is clean, well maintained, and a lot of fun. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to enhance our experience and offering their assistance without prompting.

Fun, but when certain managers are there they don't give any leeway for kids on the machines or whatever...a little bothersome but overall pretty great

Facility was clean and the staff were very kind, smiling and helpful. The pizza seems better now that they have a garlic crust. I do wish they had the play tubes for the kids to run off more energy. Overall we really like it.

A few months back I threw a birthday party for my daughter. Thankfully it's very easy to do. I set everything up a week prior to the party. The staff was very accommodating, they called me a few days before the party to confirm everything I ordered which I'm so happy for the confirmation I had ordered extra things that I really didn't need on accident. They request that you arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can be briefed on the party particulars and assign you a party host. Our party host was a

Took my 18 month old twins this week. They have converted to play passes instead of tokens. Added more seating, removed playground area and thinned out the number of games. It was clean and well lit. Not overly crowded which was nice not having to wait for a turn or bumping into people as passing by. The play pass is a cool concept but didn't work out well for us. We purchased the pizza, drink and two 20min play card combo. Would be ideal for older children. Didn't pan out so well for the toddler rides and

My grand kids enjoyed it but at the prize table the young man grew impatient with my grandson who has a disability. Which was disheartening to encounter and if you are working with kids their should be some level of patience. Other than that the kids enjoyed themselves.

The place is a little dated, but the games are fun and the staff is very friendly. One game ran out of tickets and it was immediately attended by an employee. I suggest that before you go there, you look for a deal on their website and there plenty of good stuff over there. I was also there for couple of birthday parties and it was fun. Kids enjoy it, the stall plays along. I would recommend.

Surprised by how good the pizza was, I haven't been to a Chucky for over 10 years now. I do love their set up regarding the hand stamp and arcades for kids. If you haven't been to one, it is similar to a Dave and Busters, picture a Pizza hut and an Arcade for 12 year olds and under had a child. Don't get me wrong, there are games that adults will enjoy playing, just don't see teenagers being entertained for longer than 10 minutes because their phones will have better games for them to play. The reason I

Fun time with my 9yr old daughter! We both had a great time! Really nice staff, pizza was great! I wish they had the kungfu panda game though (my daughter and I LOVE playing that together @ Sam Circle, Chesapeake) but still a nice time! 08-21-2021

Amazing staff! I believe Jenny was the front counter lady who was so kind, even giving my kid some birthday points. Can't wait to go back

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
