Another birthday party! When you have an elementary school-aged son (or daughter), you end up going to a lot of birthday parties?at so many different places. Weeks with many birthday parties usually mean eating a lot of pizza, haha. Chuck E. Cheese is a classic spot for birthday parties. Games, pizza, and prizes?what could be better? However, places like Dave & Buster?s are becoming more popular these days. Anyway, it was a fun day with games, catching up with people I hadn't seen in a while, and surprising
$14 dollars for a salad. Most of the vegetables look expired and a few machines DNT work as they should. This place is more expensive than before and they haven't updated the game machines. What a scammm
Okay. Not sure what I expected of a Chuck E Cheese but at least you would expect the arcade games to produce tickets. If the game is about winning tickets (which is about half of the machines), and none of them actually give you tickets, is it then just a rip off? Like certain games have literally zero value of entertainment if they don't produce tickets. Also, compared to a year ago, each game absolutely has less lives, harder difficulty, or fewer attempts. I guess they're really trying to eek out every p
Dipping dots dip case hasn't been cleaned in days. Makes you wonder if the kitchen is in the same condition?
Really dirty. Looks like no one cares who works there. There were about 15 tables with trash on them. I cleaned 5 or so in my area. A bunch of games were broken. Usually Chuck shows up at least once but not this last visit. You will often have to yell to get someone in the back to get off their phone and help you. Very sad!
This facility didn't have hand sanitizer and game machines, arcade, and all play areas need to be sanitized daily. Some germs can live many weeks on a dry surface. Germs on any surface can pass to children and people using the arcade and games. This is why it is important to disinfect all play areas, games, and equipment. The pizza was good.
One of the best place for kids. Specially in rainy season when they don't have much outdoor activities. This outlet have many options for different age groups. They have designed it nicely so kids can have both physical and mental activity. They organise Birthday parties for kids, options are limited for food but kids loves to eat and play at the same time. Kids love to play with Chuck, Chuck usually Shake hand, dance and give free tickets to them.
We had an absolutely amazing experience celebrating my niece Jayden?s 7th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese in Redwood City! ?? We booked the Mega Fun Package and brought along her two younger sisters, Aliyah (6) and Kami (3), and it was the perfect place for all three of them to have a blast. ?? Outstanding Service ? Nicky Was the Best! From start to finish, Nicky was an absolute rockstar as our party host! He made sure everything was seamless and stress-free?from setting up our party table to keeping the energ
I wanna give a spacial thanks to NICKY? he was amazing helping us with everything, he was above and beyond with his service. My daughter party was a big success, the pizza taste great, the kids love the birthday show, and i book the party on a Monday so is perfect because kids the whole place for themselves. And the packaged I pay includes everything, the food, the goodie bags and they clean everything, so you can actually enjoy your kids party. Thanks again
Food comes late....... the service excellent over excellent Adrian you the best man thank you for all the hard work you offered to yarus b.day......... and about the atmosphere I can said poor because what attitude from some of the others workers start clean up are table and give disrespect to us and Adrian too in the future learn first how to do costumer service girls and be respectful to everybody because counts more a fake smile ?? to spread the attitude you carry girls..... I pay for the service and I d
Their pizza is not bad. A nice place to have fun time with kids.
We celebrated my daughter?s birthday here, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking a lot of the stress off my shoulders. This was the best place we've ever had a party. Thank you to everyone who assisted us! I regret not getting the name of the wonderful girl who kept checking in on us, but I am so appreciative of everything she did.
We got the fun pass for a couple of months. Our son enjoyed the experience. We probably wont do it again because it more fun to be outside doing other things such as hikes. Everytime we visited there was an issue with at least one machine where the points would be deducted. I then had to wait on line to have someone come resolve the issue with the machine and then again wait to get the points credited back on the play card. It was an hassle.
Same as it's always been.not too busy. Decently clean. Chuck needs a new image though and the 80s videos too. Table next to us had a cake covered in peanuts so me and a child there both had a peanut reaction which Linda ruined the day. Be nice if they didn't allow that.
I love Arcade games so I went to enjoy my time and reward little kids with tickets I won... So grateful feeling.
Brought my 3-year-old son to this chuck E. Cheese., he wanted to play on the new trampoline That I paid 10 extra dollars when he couldn't even jump because it was locked up.When I asked for someone to Unlock it. They proceeded to give me attitude and tell me that they were short staff. So why did I just pay $10 for something? My son cannot have access to.he said that he was gonna send someone over ok 10 mins later that person that came over he was very Hostile looked very angry and was being Extremely rude
Great pizza and unlimited soda. Fun games and safe place for children.
Kids like the place very much. Food options are limited.
Old chuck e cheese with new Stuff no dance floor so it good
The price feels expensive, but my little one really enjoyed.
Went there for a kids' birthday party ??, the kid's loved the pizza served, and the staff was excellent. They were there to help out my niece the whole time we were there, great job guy's!
My daughter used to love going here but now she says it's boring because of the games that they have and that they should add the old ones. I loved seeing her smile when we went to Chuck E. Cheese but it just isn't the same, it's the same for my son and he's only 8 my daughter is 10 and I don't think it's because of their age they've been wanting to go after the pandemic. Thank you for reading. -Kat
GREAT EXPERIENCE THE KIDS BASKETBALL GAME THERE I COULD PLAY IT FOREVER .
Over-priced food and entertainment. Its a kid's place but bathrooms are not kid friendly - sinks are to tall for kids to reach and always wet so hopefully your lucky and there is papertowels to dry the counter to help your kid up. Service is ok
The Manager Brice was so awesome we booked online to another business but my wife made a mistake and booked it in Atlanta for my daughter's birthday party. We were told last minute so I tried to pick up the ball and decided to go to my local Chuck E. Cheese. Brice and his staff were so helpful and supportive my daughter enjoyed the staff constant attention they made her birthday one to remember thanks you guys appreciate you so much.
Food grossly overpriced here they attempted to trick me into buying a personal pizza disguised as a bbq chicken pizza charging me $5.00 extra for the bbq sauce. Menu is confusing on purpose fooling you to purchase a $31.00+ personal pizza!
This location feels a bit dated, but the staff made it a great experience. My daughter?s bag of tickets was stolen, and a few of the games were broken or not giving tickets. The staff were so helpful, letting us re-play games when they got them working again, and the manager (Mark) gave my daughter some replacement tickets when we weren't able to recover her bag of tickets. We also saw many of the staff members actually cleaning the games, doing high dusting, etc. so it was surprisingly clean for a Chuck E
Chuck-E-Cheeses is excellent for children and young parents. This is not a place for the faint of heart. If you are older and like quiet surroundings this is not the place for you. As it is very very very loud the music and enjoyment of young people very enjoyable. The pizzas are exceptionally good and the beer is tasty. We had the giant chocolate chip cookie one of their pies for dessert. Since we were a rather large group of approximately 10 people we ordered one of each of the pizzas. Go for the food and
1 star taken off for the machines always breaking down. Staff is usually okay about fixing....friendly and not upset staff
Always been a Fan of the Franchise and even after viewing many fan created videos about the Brand that were not shining a positive light on any part of CEC THeN even after fact checking the shockingly gross information... It's clear the company gives no craps at all about anything but the companies total profit ... Yet... i could care less about any of it because my bottom line is the PRICELESS feeling of jOy my children get and have always gotten just hearing they might be going to clUb chUckster so when w
Food is your basic kid food place. A few of the games did not work and ate my credits. It gets busy around noon time but the staff there is super friendly.
A bit disappointed with the place, a place for family and especially children, children see and hear everything. A manager was yelling at a employee, instead of talking to her on the side or office like a professional. I give more credit for the employee keeping calm, unlike the manager, who needs more of patient and training of management. Overall food is good.
I gave it a 1 for the fact that it is very dirty in the restrooms meaning feces all over the womans restroom. Another one was no aid in almost all the department's plus all the games were breaking down and their teenage staff clearly does not care about anything. The reason i gave it a star was because the young man that aided me in the ticket booth was very nice to me and my children and that was in the three hours we were there.
We had my daughters Birthday Party here, it was great fun for everyone! The food was WAY better then expected especially for a kids place. We had our own hostess who made sure everything went well and it did!
For parents throwing a kids party, i would caution to go elsewhere. badly mismanaged. I am yet to see a place that forgets to bring out half the food, runs out of inventory for the services they are supposed to provide at the beginning of the day, runs out of cakes that were pre-ordered well in advance, and then tries to stick you with a bill for $2000 (you read correctly) for what when correctly accounted for is about $700. Kids had fun, though.
Extremely slow service every time. Other than that, it's what you would expect. Most of the machines are usually working fine and we go on Wednesday evenings when it's not crowded. There's a nice corner for smaller children. The pizza always takes 30 plus minutes.
The staff is super nice!!! Definately better pizza places in town, but without the fun atmosphere & things for the kids to do.. thanks for making my baby's birthday fun!!
My Group event was very Last minute and was for 50 kids. Redwood City Chuck E Cheese helped me to organize it and worked with me to find a price point that worked for our budget. The kids got unlimited play for 90 minutes, food and drinks, Goodie bags and a reserved decorated area with tables and chairs for an affordable price. Best of all the staff was so helpful and they took great care of everyone in our Party. Jisis and Christian we're especially amazing as they were the ones in charge of our Party. The
After a year+ of pandemic, all my kids wanted was to go to chuck-e-cheese: the employees at the Redwood City site seem like good people. I felt taken care of, food was good enough (pizza and salad bar), and a beer helped the time pass.
I ordered pizza and cheese bread which came out colder then cold. I paid 130 dollars for 45 minutes and half the games doesn't even work. It's overwhelming and very packed. I will never return to this location. Plus it's small.
23$ for an hour of free play for the kids it was great
I haven't been there for a while and I went there today and it was very bad service. They all bunch of little kids the people that where working tonight. Them little kids where fighting to see who was going to take my order. It's was just really bad service. The salad bar was just nasty. Wasted ask them if they where going to put more salad. And it took for ever. There was not one adult working with them.
Had my son's birthday here, and it was great. The staff really stepped it up. Good job ??
I like that the parents and kids each get an invisible stamp with the same number on it to make sure you are leaving with your own kid and not the wrong one. We always have a blast here. Have never had the pizza though, looks like pizza...
This place is my favorite place to be as a child I would totally work here when I can and I hoped they never remove the stage because this is the other reason why I love this place and my only suggestion is that fix the light's between 'CEC' and yeah. P. S I'm assuming that this place is getting the dance floor or Circle of lights w/bot or no bot.
I went in to use the bathroom and the manager was yelling at an almost threatening manner at me for using the bathroom, telling me I told you this is not a public restroom and continued to yell at me in front of children playing. Really unprofessional. Do not bother to reply how your going to change the management, customers look at previous 1 star reviews all about how horrible the manager is!!!!!!!
Inexperience young rude staff. Lots of messy booths and tables there..besides the rude staff our boys had fun..the pizza n chicken wings were extra dry..never will we ever going to come back..rather take my boys to buffalo bills older staff but very friendly they're pizza are fresh n theres plenty of room to roam n play in their game room
Worst pizza for the price. Staff seemed very uninterested in being there. Lots of games for the kids to play
The staff at this place are subpar ar best. Half the games were out of service. And they even messed up a simple food order. Never will I take my children to this establishment again. Overall just sucked. =(
It was not too packed, there's some new employees so just be patient and kind to them they are still learning but had fun. It was a great time
I love to see my daughter happy and she really enjoyed this place there are so many kinds of games in the Kids they really can have a good Times
Clean and affordable games - everything is 1 coin which I was surprised by. Good for a quick arcading and romper run for the kids, plus, you know, it's "Chuck E Cheeses" so checks the kids experience box.
This was good place, I was here for birthday party, indeed good place for kids birthday celebration, lot of games to play for all ages of kids..My kid also enjoyed time there.
Dirty omg. Manager treats staff terrible! Gross never take a child there. The crawl tube thing i dont think its ever been cleaned. Nasty.
Perfect birthdays party spot. New card system kinda confuse. The combo order dont come with any game credits anymore. Fun but more pricey now
Food is pretty greasy. No live shows with Chuckee as advertised even though monitors announce visit. Staff seems nice however a lot of the machines don't work and eat the token.
I love this Chuck E. Cheese. The snowboard game is the funest and halo.
Worst place to spend time with kids. Darty inside, hall was not cleaned, full of garbige, cannabis smokers just on a parking lot close to door, while children walk in/out through entrance. Awful..
Had a lot of fun with my four year old. He enjoyed many of the games and loved redeeming the tickets he won for prizes
I have been there before 1 time and it's way more funner then the one is San Bruno
Front greeter not friendly and cashier not helpful. Girl who delivered the pizza came empty handed with no paper plates. So had to get up and get my own. ..Really? No commen sence
Awesome place to spend time with your kids (or for yourself) plus the staff is very helpful and nice.
Some of the game machines are broken and spit out no tickets. But young kids don't care. They just need the commotion and hysteria.
2 hrs unlimited play for 30$.. Daughter enjoyed no limit, endless tickets.
This place was my childhood I used to be the first kid on a saturday morning with my dad. It was sort of bad only one animatronic but everything there is really fancy.
They take make it easy to host a kids birthday party. Fun place for kids
Attended a birthday party here, and it was great!
If you imagine dozens of children climbing all over arcade machines and eating cheap pizza, you would be correct.
Great place to spend time with your little kids (perhaps up to 7-8 years old)
bad experience, we were with the kids the pizza was not full cooked, no ice on the sodas machine, no salad bar, bad service nothing like years ago !!!
It is what it is, love it or hate it. They have a surprisingly great selection of beer. And open again!
Really good place to take your kids but sometimes the machines don't work
Horrible customer service. Place is filthy. 7 staff standing around and takes are discusting. Walked in and one employee openly swearing.
Nice place for kids to play. They also sell some good Pizzas.
The kids love this place. You can pay for time and it's unlimited games
Good place for kids, it will be better if we have some assistance on the floor
Beautiful place for take of stress off my gran son.
Pizza was better than I remember.
Great place to take the kids.
Great area for kids..they love spend time there
They took out the play area and added more games.
It nice to take the kids and just be kids I think is very affordable
Good was surprisingly good! The wings and pizza were great. And the beer was awesome as well!
Nice small, fun, manageable. Kids won't get lost.
Went into this particular location in Redwood City to ask for an application apparently they don't need anybody to work there.
I asked for a giant warm cookies and received a banana pizza smelling really bad and totally damaged. I couldn't eat it. DONT EAT AT THIS PLACE!
Really clean place; workers are really nice there! Will come again:)
Throwback spot... Nice and clean and the pizza is on point. Games are only one token too.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
