Went at noon for a girls! Not alot of kids at all basically had it to ourselves. Chuck still came out and had a dance party by himself, greatly impressed that he still made the single dance party energetic and well worth it. We love our Kid Rat Casino! I also really loved that you can buy minutes to use instead of tokens or points to use in the machines. 30 minutes was only $20 and honestly well worth the $20 for how many games we played during that time.
The staff are friendly and a great place for birthday parties, and or hanging out with the family. We always have a good time here. I purchased the Gold membership and it's been well worth it!
Was in for their $7.99 monthly pass and had a FANTASTIC time. We also was offered 50% off ALL food with it! Will definitely get alot of use outta this GREAT VALUE!
Chuck E. Cheese was an absolute blast! ?? The games were super fun, the pizza was delicious, and the atmosphere was full of energy the staff from Topeka went over a beyond. The kids had a great time playing and winning tickets, and the birthday show was a hit! Highly recommend for a fun-filled birthday party!"
I recently hosted my niece's birthday party at this venue, and it was an incredible experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially a worker named Alondra, who was a wonderful dancer and made the children feel so welcome. I highly recommend this place for a child's birthday party, as they truly made my niece's special day memorable. Thank you for everything!
Chucky was not enthusiastic with the kids I had to set up there and have a talk with him so the kids can have a Chucky experience for the money you pay to go into the establishment and have the kids have fun we set up a whole birthday party and Chucky barely did anything I do not recommend it
Great birthday party, The lady that helped us celebrate my son's birthday was above excellence with her passion and excitement to ensure our son had a great birthday. Forever thankful for people who go out of their way to deliver excellent customer service??
I haven't been to chuck e cheese since the change in how they do game play and after this experience I will definitely not be going back. It took an hour and a half to get my pizza. The food is over priced even with coupons. Game play was super unfortunate as many games did not function properly, were broken with no sign to indicate they were broken or were off and labeled out of order. In the restroom the handicap stall is out of order and the paper towel dispenser didn't work. All of the employees, aside
This location is definitely struggling because the prizes require a ton of tickets to get anything, the games don't give many tickets, and the prize selection is small. You have to spend a lot to even get close to anything bigger than the candy or small cheap plastic toys (ex. Vampire teeth, rings, etc). We did an hour of play on 2 kids and got 800 tickets total and were able to get airheads and 2 lollipops. The Wichita location is by far superior compared to this location.
Great service. Had a PTO event here and even with a misunderstanding of the event planning from a corporate office this branch made it work and the kids had a great time. The food was good. Pizza and wings were tasty.
Celebrated both of my kid's birthdays here. Had a wonderful time. Our birthday helper was so sweet and patient. Very helpful and kind as well. Explained things if I couldn't remember or understand as well. Will definitely celebrate here again. I believe it was the manager as well, she helped when one of the party guests lost their play card by letting him choose 3 toys. I appreciate her for that.
The Dippin dots weren't really good. They had lots of ice crystals and they just tasted really old. My kids really enjoyed their time as did my partner, his mother and myself! Aside from the Dippin dots.. it was pretty alright!
As a person who grew up in Chuck E. Cheese...this was a pretty awful experience for my kids. This place used to be about the kids, the animatronics, the characters of the franchise, the playground and ballpit that the Kids could play in all day long... This "Modern" Chuck E. Cheese is a glorified kids casino. We saw one guy come out as "chuck" but it was literally just a guy wearing a tshirt and a plastic looking helmet...this was so disappointing to see what my childhood had to offer for us vs this cash gr
Chuck E came out 1 time during the birthday and was out for one song no excitement or enthusiasm. Energy was very poor. The place is super loud. The pizza came out cold and hard. Ordered 3 pizzas 1 came out cold and hard and had to wait 30+ extra minutes for the others so couldn't even have my party eat together. The little trampoline place is over $12 per child and not included so you come in and spend a large amount of money to only have to spend more just for your child to jump on a small trampoline. Fir
My daughter and I came here for the first time since the remodel and wow! It was a wonderful experience! The staff were all helpful and nice, the pizza was absolutely delicious, and I am so happy that the tickets go on the play card/wrist band! I can't wait to go there again!
We have the gold fun pass so make it a point to visit often. The service at this location is always good. We particularly appreciate the service that Alanna provides. She seems to really care about the first experience and making sure you have a pleasurable time. The food is pretty good and comes out quickly. The games are on par for a Chuck e Cheese location. Although, some is the games seem to have issues or be out of order. We've been to other locations and this one is our favorite because of how well it
What a fun wonderful experience. We attended a birthday party. The food, the games, the employees who helped us... everything was fabulous. And it was so clean and lovely! There were plenty of covid safety precautions as well. Thank you so much! And (since it has been forever since we have been) having all the tickets automatically loaded to the point cards was a little confusing at first but is so handy!
Been a long time since I've been to one. The pizza we got was delicious had great flavor don't rember being that good.
Great place to take the kiddos for some safe fun. Pizza is pretty tasty too! Adults can have up to two beers. They have several small rides for smaller kids and video games for bigger kids. Staff is nice. Oh, they also have a salad bar if you want a healthier meal choice. Chuck E Cheese also has combo meals if you want to buy food, drinks, and a game card. One con though, they have a weak prize selection for tickets.
Had a wonderful and safe time with the kids. In these times that has been real hard to accomplish. But it was very clean. A little more expensive then I remember but the kids had a good time and so did I. Big plus there is beer for the parents.
Had an absolute blast with the kiddos. The place was very clean and the staff was super helpful. Our kids had a great time. Definitely will be back.
My kids had fun, but there was a few machines that didn't work and took our credits... went and said something and nothing came of it... kinda upsetting..
The service for the party is great, although seating is crowded. They have several parties in the same area. This doesn't really make your birthday boy or girl feel very special. Also, the games are very limited. Pricing is too high. Compared to Bonkers, you're likely to pay about $10 more per guest, although Chucky Cheese does offer many birthday packages. Overall, I was disappointed with the amount of parties happening at the same time, and the game selection was not what it used to be. The rodent maker
My daughter absolutely loves this place. Staff members are nice.
Well?we went early in the day, the person that greeted us and the lady behind the counter were super nice and helpful. The rides and games for toddlers were good. We were definitely done after 1/2 hr. When our pizza was finished you have to go pick it up yourself next to the restrooms. It tasted fine but it was expensive. Chuck E Cheese was standing in the main area when we got our food and the kiddo was excited and when the dancing started they didn't want to dance and asked me if Chuck E was sad. Needless
The staff were lovely chuck es performance was OK i honestly don't like how the store looks now but I have nothing to compare it to my first visit to a cec in Kansas it was pretty good
When we walked in got stamps on our hands and didn't given a reason why and when we walked out the door to leave we got chaced out the door by a employee being yelled at on why we didn't get permission to leave and why we didn't scanned our hands out to leave.
Kids had a blast. And it was a decent price for our 4 kids to play unlimited for an hour was $40.
I really enjoy this location because of the staff. There is an arcade closer to home but we come here because it's always clean, and the staff are so nice and helpful. The last several times I have been here, the guy that wears a pony tail on top of his head remembers my son and I and that makes my son feel excited to come back.
It was a lot of fun kind of expensive. I was impressed by the salad bar. Kids had a blast that's what mattered most.
Need more staff, especially at the door. I'm disappointed about that. It was loud and hectic and crazy but... what kid place isn't?!?! We stopped in as part of a multistop birthday party to let the kids play. They had a great time, especially the physically challenged birthday girl. She loved the "magic floor." All in all, it was a great time!
I give 5 stars because the customer service was impeccable. The staff did very good at making our birthday girl feel super special and making sure she had fun. They accommodated our whole party very well and even threw in some free drinks on top of what we paid for. Thank you for making our party a good one.
It was a total blast for my 4-year-old grandson and me as well, we will definitely be going there in the future!
time for me to roll up outta here. BYE BYE!! UR NOT GONNA CLOCK MINE!! hehehehejehehehheheh
Great place for children to be children. They have plenty of games to keep the kids entertained.
It's not what it used to be in 2009 I was really sad about that. They had a lot of stuff to do. It's all gone updated everything I think a new company took over I was surprised by the new update was fantastic but just not the same it was as once was before the update I'm hoping it to become better than what it is now a lot of the machines were broken?? not what I remember when it was a kid
Chuck E. Cheese has been modernized. The animatronics are no longer, replaced by a video board. It still has a lot of games adults will remember, and a lot of more modern ones, Gone are the days of cups of tokens, instead you are given "play cards" with minutes to use on games. Tickets earned on skill games are also applied to the card, which then can be used to purchase toys and other items from the counter. There is a cool addition to the floor: a dance screen/game with character images that scatter when
This is a great place for the little ones in the family! My children loved all the games, and of course, the tickets. They had an hourly show whereby Chuck E. Cheese came out and interacted with the children. The pizza was pretty good. There was one security measure which I thought was great. They had a stamp method which I found to be great. It ensured that the children only left, safely, with those whom they had arrived with. I am sure that we will revisit Chuck E. Cheese, at some point in the future- the
This was one of the best Chuck E. cheese I've ever been to. The game tech was so kind, patient and gentle with my little toddler who kept interrupting him as he was repairing games. I have no clue why my son gravitated to him the way he did, but he was so receptive and made my his day by giving him a ball. Thank you!!
Haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese since I was a child approximately 20 years ago. My how a lot has changed. This place really is now just an over glorified arcade. What happened to the animaltronics, ball pits, and the fun crawling spaces? When it used to be more physical involvement. Now it's just a bunch of arcade games and half of them don't even work. Went here for a friend's child's birthday party, glad I didn't spend money to come here. I will say the pizza was very good, alot better than what I thoug
They have these timed scanning cards to play instead of tokens much easier & faster! Lots of fun for the whole family.
Great place for my 10 year old son to play games, have fun, and be in a safe environment.
Came with one of the littles. Was not too busy. Walked into the building through a cloud of smoke (not cigs). Went to the register, staff were to busy talking to each other. Finally got the cards. When everyone was done playing went to redeem tickets. Stood there for 5 min. The person working the front door could not be bothered to call anyone on the radio to help us. She did come over and make us move after that time to clean the counter. She finally went around the counter herself to help. Then we
The Halloween spooky cupcakes tasted good but a bit frozen this year. Everyone in our party had a blast - old to young! I experienced most of the staff to be pleasant and helpful during our visit in October 2021. Our group enjoyed playing 3/4th of the games. 3-4 games were not working.
We enjoyed the friendly family atmosphere. Love the cards and unlimited games for the cost
Staff were friendly. I like people with a sense of humor. The business model of Chuck E Cheese has definitely changed. I thought that they usually have an indoor playground for kids to run around and burn off the sugary fountain drinks. Everything is just arcade games now. The traditional token and ticket system has been replaced with a card system. This is good and bad. The good is that it's less labor intensive to maintain for the employees. The bad is that it takes away from the experience. I'm personal
The kids had a blast! I was a bit taken aback at the extravagant pricing. Not very budget friendly. The staff were helpful and kind. Everything seemed very clean. I just can give 5 stars when a pepperoni pizza and 4 small fountain drinks are almost 30$.
When they renovate their place, everything looks better and their arcades and food were great. We attended birthdays here for 2 times and all were great experiences. The children don't want to leave.
Did not stay. We hadn't been in a very long time, found out that a salad bar was $10.99 per person, and they had switched to the kids wearing a watch-type device for playing the games on a timer, approximately $15 for 30 minutes. Could be paused once for the meal or a bathroom break-what fun is that?? No tokens. So if an adult wants to play Skee ball or some other game, what then? Another $15? Found a better deal down the road.
Had 13 kids celebrating my granddaughters birthday. They all had a blast. Cost me $340.00 plus tip. Money well spent. Sta# was outstanding. Young man, Austin, was our host and he made an easy job from a tough situation. Food service a bit slow for adult guests but, the party was for the kids!!! Thanks Chuck and crew...
Took my son here for a visit. We've gone to a lot of locations closer to the KC metro and this was by far one of the better locations to eat at. Food came out fresh. My son had a lot of fun. Jushing by the games they have it looks like it's also great for older kids as well.
Such a fun and clean space! I love how they take safety and security so seriously. My only complaint is the portion sizes of the personal pizzas and the price. But it was delicous! And had a blast
Dirty bathrooms, yucky looking salad bar For $10 for one person! It's supposed to be a place for all children to have fun and Accommodate to be for all children no matter what but the bathrooms are not big enough to change a handy cap child really! Kitchen looked filthy from what I could see! Pizza I've looked like it's never been cleaned and filthy from where I could see! Managers are very disrespectful! Filthy parking lot!
Get on the website and use the coupons. Do the minutes not credits. So worth it. Picture booth included in the minutes rate. We used the booth atleast 40 times. Lots of fun for kids. Some games adults might enjoy. Kids cant leave unless you and their numbers match which is a awesome safety feature.
At opening on a Sunday, wasn't very busy which was good. Sadly most of machine were out of order (good ones) also the front door guy (child watch prevention) had no clue what's going on in life. Constant just day dreaming and gazing off into space. This guy happened to be Mr. CHUCKY Cheese as well. Time for a new uniform. The costume looked like it hadn't been washed in months, shoes dirty and untied. Food was great. Front desk staff well great.
Went tonight for my grandson?s 2nd birthday. The food was fine but staff were not so great tonight. We asked to borrow scissors and the staff told my daughter ?Yes, but please make sure you return them? with an attitude like she was going to steal their scissors. She later asked if they had a marker so she could write the kids? names in the cup and the staff said she could ?But again, please make sure you return it.? We were 2 booths from the counter! Did she really think we were going to take off with them
Employees were not friendly, quite a few games not working properly, French fries were burnt. We were given coupons at the veterans parade and the staff didn't even know what to do with them. Bad all around experience.
Loved every minute of it. We went on a Wednesday afternoon around noon and it wasnt crowded which made it so much better. My 4 yr old daughter was able to go from game to game with no hesitation and no wait. Games were perfect for her age and ive never seen her have so much fun. Prices were reasonable and well worth it. Chuck the mouse came out a couple time to say hi to the kiddos which made Gracie even more excited. I loved the timed play pass. No cost for tokens you play for a time limit. Pizza tasted so
I love the new Game Pass cards. My wife was coming later and 2 people at the entrance didn't know about the parent pass stickers that were sitting on the podium right in front of them. There used to be a couple games that adults could enjoy but, it's where a kid can be a kid after all.
The staff was amazing to our kids! We hadn't been to Chuck E Cheese in many many years and was somewhat dreading it, however, this visit exceeded our expectations! It was perfect for our 3 year old and his cousins and friends age range 1 y.o. to 14 y.o. There was something for everyone.
Such a clean and fun place!!! Fun for teens and adults too!!! The employees were super nice. Can't wait to go back. We also enjoyed the bread sticks and they were were really good!
The pizza is overpriced and not very tasty...gas stations have better pizza. The salad bar was $10 had to wait half an hour for someone to put more lettuce in the bowl..the salad bar is below average and extremely overpriced. You could spend less to make salad at home with FRESH ingredients. Several of the games did not work and we wasted so many tokens on things that didn't work. The quality of Chuck E. Cheese has bottomed out. We will not spend another birthday here again...I am very disappointed ?? spent
Would of been 5 stars if all the games work, but, no puck on air hockey table and some games were not working, but the games that were working are really fun and a lot of fun and many options
We had a wonderful party for my Grandson. Lake, our hostess was very peppy. I guess we misunderstood how the cards work. It says on the brochure you can stay after the party and continue to play the games. We bought the unlimited play cards, but they cut out when the party was over. So everyone was very disappointed.
Had a birthday party here, it was ok. The place sure got expensive since they switched to the wristbands. The salad bar wasn't the freshest anymore, but the employees were friendly and helpful, seemed clean too.
Super friendly staff. Place was really clean. We had a blast the kids loved it! Chucky' came out and danced with my little ones they were so excited!
We love having birthday parties there. The kids love it & we enjoy not having to worry about the kids getting out or cleaning up!. The staff is always so nice to us. We always have such a large group & they accommodate us & always make the kids feel special. Thanks
Had such a fun time with my mom and siblings they got so many tickets and the selection of prizes was surprisingly really good we had ashley as a cashier she was funny and helpful definitely will be coming back! Side note the pizza crust was sadly a bit to thin the other day
Grandbabies had soooo much fun. And the pizza was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean. We will be going back soon. If you haven't been or it has been awhile, I'd recommend going.
Perfect place to plan your birthday parties I would recommend young lady Mariah she was one of the party planners there, and she does an excellent job. Perfect place to bring your kids and their hand stamp system stops your children from being able to leave with strangers I give it 4 stars I'd give it five but I'm not one who can handle that much time with that many children
Great experience!! Use online coupons would be my suggestion. I got 2 cards free play for an hour. Can't beat that plus coupons are so easy to use just go to their website and scan from phone.
Shoot...the pizza was great! And play pass is well worth $20.00 if you have multiple kids. Let 1 kid play then let your sibling or friend use the same card...
We took our granddaughters to chuckie cheese in Topeka. Spent a lot and 5 of the games cheated them out of tickets. And when we complained all we heard from staff was sorry. No offer of refund or tokens. When I asked for manager I was told he was not available as he was training. Wouldn't dealing with dissatisfied customers be part of training. Do you make a habit of cheating children? Do not go to Topeka Chuckie Cheese.
The pizza was not the best and the animations were in very bad shape. This place has really gone downhill. BRING BACK SHOWBIZ PIZZA!!!
Pizza is pretty good and the service is always friendly. Since they've put in better games and all of them work 97% of the time and only take one token per play they have been the requested place to go by my kid over the other places in town.
The kid will enjoy it but the food isn't crest and there is not much in terms of an arcade. If they had an indoor play area or jungle gym they would be great. Staff was mediocre and unenthusiastic
Took my 6yo son and three of his friends there yesterday... I love the play cards they are so much more convenient *especially for the little folks* then having to keep up with tokens (now if they would just come up with a new way to contain all the tickets *but then I guess putting them on a card would take away the beauty of the win*) anyways... so we had a very enjoyable time, myself included* the only complaint I have is... it would be nice to have a little longer play time for $10... like $10/hr droppi
Just had my daughters birthday party here and I would like to thank the young lady that was our party host I forgot her name she went above and beyond to make sure my daughters birthday was spectacular and thank you to the rest of the staff for all the accommodations and patience you all are the best
My kids love the large selection of games and activities there. I quite like the fact that I can a small fee for unlimited games for a certain amount of time way better than tokens.
It's REALLY fun and I would rate it a 4 1/2 star rating!! There's fun games and yea!??I didn't really eat there because I already ate at a different place but it's a fun to play the games!
I don't know what kind of reviews these others are but it looks like kids posted them. I showed up to CC with the intentions of celebrating my niece's second B-day with my mother, son, wife, brother, sisters, and other niece's in tote. I am military visiting from Fort Hood and my brother is stationed at Ft. Riley. When we arrived people were arguing in the parking lot. When we walked in they were arguing in front of the front door and a guy punched a girl in the face. I was second guessing being their but t
I loves Chucky cheese haven't been in years. This one was small, it was my family of four and maybe 10 15 other people it felt packed . Was bummed when I found out no more tokens or tickets.
We (family of 4) went on a Wednesday night. Not crowded at all. Pizza was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Place seemed clean. Spent an hour and a half there having fun with no issues.
It was extremely dirty and some machines kept not giving it out tickets, and when we would say something to staff they would say ok but do nothing. My kids both missed out on a lot of tickets and we were all frustrated.
I'm not one to leave a poor review too often, but this place is WAY over priced for the experience. I would recommend if you have small children and looking for a great value, take them to Bonkers in Topeka. Chuck E. Cheese is not the place.
Took my kids there since there obsessed with Chuck e cheese but, this was my last trip games are rigged well the ones that weren't broke. Independence MO is way better kids can actually win more than 3 tickets.
It is great for kids and they can't leave without an adult. I love that they stamp your hands so kids can't randomly leave with someone else. Its not expensive. The older kids still have fun.
As a hard working teen I don't spend much time with my siblings so I thought this would be a good place to have fun. There wasn't anyone inside besides the employee and me and my siblings were not allowed inside because I am not of age.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
