1800 McFarland Blvd E Suite 508
Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404
They were clearly short staffed but the service was still great. Took a really long time to get our food? 45-50 minutes (we were the only ones there) but it was worth it. Food was good. Service was good. Kids had a blast!
We went to this location yesterday and I just wanted to brag on the manager because she is INCREDIBLE. We were the only ones there, the service was perfect, and the entire place was spotless. She took great care of us, and I just want her to know that she is doing a great job. Thanks for a good visit to my kids? favorite place.
One of my favorite Chuck E. Cheese locations in the nation! It has a great salad bar, fun games, and staff is super friendly! It's right down the street from the University of Alabama so this is a destination for all the fraternities and sororities to come for great catering to tailgate before the football games! Roll Tide!
This isn't a terrible Chuck E. Cheese location but it's not great either. I don't remember the prices being this crazy when I was younger, and the pizza is a RIPOFF! The personal pizza is very tiny - don't order it. I paid $12 for a personal pepperoni pizza, and I was STARVING afterwards. The size would only be suitable for a small child. I also never got a receipt? The building itself is pretty small but it has a decent amount of games. The restrooms weren't super clean, but I would say they were dirty.
Christian was so respectful to my whole family and treated my kids with the upmost respect!! 2/27/25 Date WHOLE staff deserves a raise!!! They work really hard to make sure you and your family have a great experience!
We've been coming to Chuck E Cheese for years. When we came in August my granddaughter wanted to jump in the trampoline that's been recently put in. They told us we needed to purchase a pair of the special socks and they were 11$. Fast forward to today we're back. My grand daughter is in the trampoline with her socks on when an employee puts her out. Now they're saying the socks are free but we need to purchase an armband every single time. I refuse, I'll just take her to upsurge and be done with the rude
It's a good place. I can't really complain too much. It's fun for adults and kids, and their pizza is irritatingly good ?? It's definitely filled with lots of kids all over the place, but it's still great!
We visited here a couple of times this past week. this one time there was an employee name Kyle who was very attentive both time we came. the second time we came a young female who is also an emp was all of a sudden yelling at Kyle about cleaning the game area. but at the time he was just cleaning our area, so we really didn't see what the problem was but she insisted that he clean. and she made it clear that she was in charge of him.. Employees like that make other worker not stable and not wanting to work
We didn't eat there at the time. Very expensive to play ($150 for a family of 5). But the games were so fun! My husband and I had as much fun as our 3 kiddos. Staff was bored and wanted to be anywhere but there, but we really didn't need their help, so all was good.
Wings are great! Very clean. The only downside is $8 to jump on the trampoline is a bit much. We had a great time.
It was clean. We went on Friday morning and there was nobody. Kids had fun. It looks like they have a new menu.
Great place to have lots of fun with kids. Good food & plenty of games to play
It was Awesome ?? the staff and guests were good to us. Sad thing is due to covid-19 Chuckie did not make an appearance. And the prices are a little high. I never expected to see a toy for $34.99
We had our son's 4th birthday party here and it was his first time visiting as well I paid a lot of money for this party and we was treated very poorly and even before time for the party to end they had us move out of the way to set up another party it was our first and last time we will be back to this place we will go to a different one next time
Had a long wait for our p pizza and the soft drink machinewasn'tworking. So you had to eith drink Tea that wasn'treallygoodor drink Life Water.. Kids enjoyed the games.
Waited almost 45 mins for food and came out cold. Chicken wings lemon pepper is salty. Trampoline area no attendant.
Friday night the service was amazing today is sunday our second visit since purchasing a pass. The beer had at least 10 ants or bats floating in it. The manager offered me another one after saying they weren't bugs and I told him no they definitely were! 5 of the games malfunctioned on this visit and they obviously didn't care, whoever management and staff Friday was a night and day difference compared to today!
Had my granddaughter's birthday here, we all had a blast!! They provide everything but the cake, ice cream and guests! The kids really enjoyed the pizza and game time. Kyleigh had a blast in the ticket booth!!
My daughter loves the new trampoline area in chuck e cheese
We had horrible customer service waited in line twice to have Rasheim tell us we could wait in line again he was incredibly rude and racist towards my daughter and I needless to say after spending 200$ weeks will not be back we come frequently and hate this can't be our spot anymore.
To the staff that was on duty 11/18/23, Thank you for being patient with our party yesterday. Everything was put in place when we arrived. I don't know how they were able to manage it because there were a total of 5 or 6 parties yesterday. The food was good. I gave 4 stars because it was pricey. The kids and guests enjoyed it!! My child continued talking about it all the way home. I haven't been since I was a child. Things looked different of course, but that's to be expected. I like how you can use a car
Do Not have your kids party at here they are nasty and incompetent. They have no sense of safety at all ,and the management is rude you would do better having your child?s party at five nights at Freddie?s.and food DONT DO!
Do you know the feeling of getting the prize at the top of the prize wall? Well if you go here, do not expect it. My daughter had been saving up tickets to do that. We got to this location and saw the prize she wanted. It was the max amount of tickets for that location and my daughter had enough tickets to get it three if they had that many. While she was playing I went to ask how many the store had. Which was only one. So I asked for them to get that one. I was told they do not give the prizes off the wall
Ordered food, 30 minutes later we asked about it and they haven't even started it. The kitchen service is awful, very disappointing and unacceptable
We hadn't been in over 2 years and I saw ads about the company having more games, food, and just a better experience, but apparently NOT this location. High food prices and the same, old games, which a good few of them were broken. This location definitely needs an upgrade. My kid enjoyed his time nevertheless, but with these prices for play points/time, there should be better games with all of them working.
A family came in to celebrate the 1st birthday of a little girl. The mother of the little girl confirmed her party online. The mother booked the $99 package. When it was time to leave, her balance was $408. The lady had proof in her email showing what she had booked. The manager on duty totally ignored her but yet called the police. The manager stated "the price online was a quote." The lady showed the police officers & they also were in disbelief. The manager also stated that "I spoke with the mother on th
We didn't eat any food but we played games. Great value and good options!
Went to take advantage of the special that we received through the app for today, June 4th, 2024. The young lady was helpful and pleasant, she explained that this location does not always honor website or email coupons. I asked for the manager for clarity. He was visibly annoyed that we asked for him, rude, and wanted to have a syntax war over the following we received as a app member. He eventually refused to serve us - great thing there are other places to take children in Tuscaloosa Celebrate National C
Great service good food . Great for kids birthday parties??
We were celebrating my Niece's birthday. When we first arrived we ordered two large pizzas. After about an hour of the kids playing we thought we would have a little time to rest and eat pizza. Well the pizza wasn't even in the oven. So we get them to play a little bit more. After another 30-45 minutes we check on the pizza, still not ready. By the time they wanted to say a few more minutes, it was very close to closing. The kids really enjoyed the games, but We know next time to feed the kids before we go
Lil smaller than I had expected. Priced fairly high. But didn't need more than the hour passes we got.
Had a really fun time with my son Trace at Chuck E. Cheese Tuscaloosa.
Great place to have a birthday party. The pizza is Amazing! The entertainment is awesome.
It was great for my kids.. which was there first time going. Like the fact you can pay for mins or hrs. Would differently come back with the family
Most of the games are busted - it's seriously time for them to be refurbished or renovated, personal pizza is served on a paper plate and the serving is super tiny - like for a one or two year old tiny - not worth the $9/$10. The drinks are equivalent to a small but are $2.99 ??.. the price you pay for that alone.. you could go literally anywhere else for cheaper. We spent majority of the time on one or two things because what little was working was crowded with other children playing. It's time desperatel
I went here with my son on a Saturday around 2pm. It was so busy! You have to buy 30 min/1 hour etc. play cards. You scan the play card on the games to play. Just about every game we tried to play we had to wait on another kid to finish or someone had already scanned a play card and quit the game halfway. I bought the 30 min card for about $18 between waiting on other kids to play, broken machines and kids quiting midway I felt we was waiting half of the 30 mins. So for $18 we actually played maybe 10mins o
My daughter and her friends had a blast yesterday thank you to our beautiful hostess who made sure my baby and her friends were having fun and enjoyed themselves! We will most definitely come back for my fun and games !
Writing this to everyone who is gonna order food at chuck e cheese, DO NOT order the food. Wait it Very long even if its busy or Not. So We order a 2 Large pizza combo that came everything even a Large Warm chocalate Cookie which in Total of $81. After that they gave us a Buzzer to notify when the Food is ready. Well the thing is, We waited over 45mins for the pizza and We asked the employees which they told the Manager whats taking so long. Soon to find out that the family next to us Got our food and Whats
I took my grandkids here for a fun day and they took money out my account 3 times and now I'm getting the run around to get my money back. Close to $600 was took out my account so don't use a card if you decide to go here.
My daughter had her first birthday party here, and we've come several other times. Despite the fact that there are kids running around everywhere, it's always clean. Prices are reasonable. No matter what day/time you come the food is amazing and customer service is always awesome.
It was awesome. My daughter had a blast playing and the pizza we ordered was really good. I appreciated that they marked us when we came in, and then double checked that we all had matching marks when we left. It gave me piece of mind to know they were looking out for the safety of the kids.
I took my 2 year old for his birthday and will not be returning. The staff at the counter were rude. There were no tickets in some of the machines. Multiple ski ball games were missing all balls. Some of the machines didnt even work but would take your tokens. There were kids crawling on the game machines and no staff on the floor to monitor or enforce the rules. It was chaotic and clearly no one working there cared. The pizza was the only thing that was good.
It was very clean and the lady that met us at the door was very nice and friendly. I really enjoy their new "Pay for the time" system. I needed to waste an hour so I was able to buy a card for 1 hour for the kids to play. Love it!!!!
Best pizza I've had from this chain but the employees were terrible. Bad attitudes, didn't take pics like EVERY OTHER ONE HAS, just snarky and rude at every opportunity and no Chuck E nor animatronics only video games.
I was there to celebrate my granddaughters 3rd birthday and it was wonderful until there was a comotion that interrupted everyone's enjoyment after that my daughters fries were half done( but tasted great). Overall it brought back memories of Wood Square Shopping Center (Show Bizz Pizza ) with my children ??.
Walked in stood at the counter and ended up walking out the manager was talking nasty about a customer very distasteful as a man he should really do better.
It was fun, but I'd be careful around the pizza. I ate some and I was throwing up and having diarrhea all weekend ??
Food is way over priced. Plenty of games, but no play ground area. Being from St. Louis, our Chuck E. Cheeses had actual play areas, like fast food places. It was great as a kid! This one has plenty of games for kids ages 5-10 can enjoy, just no playground. Keep this in mind when you walk in and see 30+ sugar grazed children running around from one game to another. Also, keep track of your kids play cards. If another kid takes your little ones card, tell a staff member immediately and they'll get your chi
Recently visited this location with my children and nephews. We had a ton of fun. An employee named Jasmine introduced herself to us as we sat down. She handled any questions we had and was great to help the kids figure out the games and answer any questions.
Grandson (3) had lots of fun. Chuck E. made an appearance for photos. Pizza pretty tasty. Front entrance staff member pleasant, helpful. Employee at check-in for food & games dutifully did her job. Smile sweetie it doesn't cost you anything. Overall a good visit, the grandchild was happy..thats what counts.
No giant mouse. The Business Owner replied, saying to give his customer (guest doesn't make me feel better, it doesn't work for hotels and just makes no sense at an arcade) relations teams and then used a bit ly shortened link, which led to a 404 error. Honestly, I didn't have a bad time, pizza is pretty good, game selection pretty good, though the quantity of games is a bit lacking. Something I thought I'd never see is Chuck E Cheese selling beer, not that I'm complaining, it's just are you trying to co
So crowded with driving age teenagers who I assume are friends with employees that it's uncomfortable to be there with your 3 yr old. Employees act like they shouldn't have to help you, unless you're a "friend" then you get the machines rigged to spit out 100's of tickets for a single game... witnessed this myself. Petty, I know but aggravating when it seems like a great injustice for me to ask for some red pepper. But the pizza was decent and the games that worked, my daughter enjoyed.
We went solely for the arcade. Most of the games were out of order. Otherwise, the new way that the company utilizes cards in place of tokens and tickets is efficient and clean. Great idea in light of Covid-19.
My neice have both of her kids BIRTHDAY party for the past 2yrs and they are awesome employees they make sure you have everything u need they keep the place very clean y'all need to take care of them the evening shift i don't know about the day shift
Best funeral I've ever attended
We've been here many times for birthday parties. The pizza, while not the best in town, is fine, especially for kids, but, let's face it, you come here for the games. I'm glad they changed from a credit system to a time system where, instead of placing credits on a game card, they place a certain amount of time, which can be paused once during your visit.
I just said that it was ok because for one the workers weren't really friendly. Alot of the games are confusing and don't tell u when they have started so I kept swiping my card. I think that this robs people of the chance to use and get Al of their money worth. There were alot of people and chuck ee cheese was their which was exciting. I think they should alarm people of this because we couldn't get a picture with him since it's whoever gets to him first type deal. It was just ok, I had anxiety thinking ab
It's a great place to take your kids to. Clean, safe, kid friendly language and almost impossible to loose sight of your child. On the negative side of things it's really expensive but hey what isn't expensive now a days. Overall a great place.
I've been to one with a ball pit and much more exciting then this one. Not to mention the restroom was horrible. It smelled so bad and was absolutely disgusting. I couldn't believe a restroom for kids was not being properly maintained and monitored.
The first thing I noticed was that the employees actively engaged with the younger visitors and it seemed natural. All areas appeared clean, and I witnessed them actually check the games. No complaints here.
We have always liked Chuck E Cheese, even back when I was younger and now our kids love it. The last few times we went to the Tuscaloosa location many of the machines simply dont work or they dont despense tickets. We went today and several of the machines were still broken that were broken several weeks ago. It wasnt just one or two machines. Many of them either dont work at all or have something wrong with them. If they would keep the machines working it would be a good place.
After spending almost $100 on two pizzas and some playtime here and waiting an hour and a half without ever getting any food I can't recommend this place at all. There's no one from the establishment outside where anyone has a customer can talk to them. They have stayed in the kitchen the entire time, and not produce a single bit of food
Some of the games were not working
Was there for a bachelor party. Seeing how the groom and other men were also parents and we took the kids so that the bride and her maids could be kid free. Us dads went to a place for the kiddos.
The grandkids loved the games! I liked how you can buy time and play the games as many times as you want to for one set price. Food selection and quality was really good!
Enjoyed so much youngest grannma baby cake day lots of cousins to enjoy with we all had a good time , will go back & recommend all to go !
Worst experience ever half of the games didn't work and I never got my food I ordered they said they made it already and put it out there someone else must have took it as there's so I got most of my money back on the food but I will not be back to chuck e cheese never again I would seriously like to remove the 1star on the review because they don't even deserve that much credit truly the worst experience for a man to be just trying to treat his wife and daughter to some fun but I o we'll I've learned my le
Manager was rude and very unpleasant he shouldn't be working in customer service! They had expired signs up didn't have any of the toys we wanted..bad for business and I was informed that the two toys we wanted are always unavailable
The customer service of their team members was AWFUL.. Except for the young man at the door. But their games all worked for the most part... Shindig is a better option in Tuscaloosa
It was on a Saturday and it was really crowded but t was still fun for the kids and games didn't have long wait lines. But the weekday its slower paced perfect for toddlers to get arpund
The Chuck E. Cheese in Tuscaloosa was frustrating today. My sons pre k class were there for an end of the school year event and the usual machines were broken and it's been that way for quite some time. Also the parents were told that our food would be served to us at 1030 but none of us received our food until 11 ar which point we asked for our money back. This is what happens when you leave teenagers unattended.
This place was bloody great, me and my cousin Matilda got married here the other weekend. Staff was very happy and kind they provided me a wheelchair and a flatbed truck to transport my 500lbs NEW WIFE (that's right ladies, i'm off the market. sharon (my dog egg of an ex-wife), im a new man. I have a big 'ol woman. Cos what can a skinny gal do for you? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The chidren also had a lovely time playing with the decaying rat carcass in the playground. They stank to high heaven and my beutiful wi
We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and the workers were helpful. Chyna waited on me and she was friendly and outgoing. Keep up the good work.
My kids have always enjoyed the games, but the service and food are no good, and management won't help when there's a problem. Don't waste your money or time.
Good place to take the kids or grands
The wings were excellent!! The pizza was alright. Other then that the party great and great service. I will recommend any kidsnor adults to go to Chuck E. Cheese.
The salad and hot wings are very good
Absolutely love bringing my kids here. I think I get into the games more than my kids haha...I feel like a kid when I come here! Very great experience!!.
So frustrated. We have to drive an hour and a half to reach a chuckecheese in two different locations. This chuckecheese is not honoring the tokens that we got from the other chuckecheese. After explaining to the manager that we drove an hour and a half there was still no compensation. The children are here and are very excited, but cannot play. I guess the weekly chuckecheese trips are gone for us. It would have been nice to have at least one comp. But no, not here.
My kids love to come here when we visit.
My 2 year old daughter is addicted to this place!!! She wants to visit every single day, lol!!! The service is extraordinary, the food is sooooo good, and the atmosphere is exciting!!!! My family and I love Chuck E. Cheeses!!!!!!?????
Great places for the kiddos, prices were reasonable. Large range of seating. Workers were nice. Which there were more arcade options.
Great place to take the kids for a family event! Lots of new updated arcade games, although a little over crowded at times.
My husband and I took the kids out to have fun and boy did they and the employees did a great job at making sure we where happy.
Only go on a Sunday morning. At peak crowd times it's way too crowded and too small. Should be a li mlk it on how many people should enter. Pizza is sooo good!! Service is great also. Crowding is the only issue.
My daughter loves it but I think it is time to start updating some games! Some don't work & pieces are missing!
They need more people! Nobody at the door to stamp kids and just need more people working. The associates who were working did the best they could.
Our son had a blast playing all of the games. The food was great. Definitely had an awesome experience.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
