Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese

Reviews Summary

Overall, Chuck E. Cheese receives mixed reviews. Many praise the friendly staff, clean environment, and fun atmosphere for kids, especially during birthday parties. However, complaints highlight high prices, broken games, and occasional rude or unhelpful employees. Some miss the nostalgia of tokens and tickets, while others appreciate the newer card system. Food quality is hit-or-miss, with pizza often noted as decent but overpriced. Special needs accommodations and sensory-friendly events are appreciated. While younger kids enjoy the experience, older visitors find it lacking compared to past offerings.

Customer Reviews

Great place for the whole family. It was our first time taking our 3 year old. He had a great time as well as the adults. Will was wonderful as he helped with my baby questions.

We had a great experience! Every staff member was friendly and helpful and stayed busy by cleaning. All floors and surface areas were clean, we even saw one of the employees wiping down the games.

This was our first time at a Chuck E. Cheese with our daughter and everyone was amazing (except for the manager i believe her name was Robin who we witnessed verbally abusing employees in front of us and other customers.). Zoey at the front counter deserves a raise / be promoted for her professionalism and is the reason we will be coming back to the establishment. She never once showed frustration or anger from the verbal abuse we witnessed by the manager. The manager needs to be held accountable for her w

Staff super friendly!! Had grandson?s birthday there and they made sure everything moved smoothly, all decorations were provided and were very friendly!! Whoever manages this place gets 2 snaps in ensuring guests delight!!

We had our first Birthday evet today for our 4 year old and this was an absolute pleasant experience! The Team was friendly and informative! From the manager to the event coordinators and the rest of the Chuckie Cheese Team Thank you all so very much for making an unforgettable Birthday experience for our child, friends, and family ?? You all are ROCK STARS!!

Worst location I've ever visited. First and last time visiting this overcrowded location. An argument broke out that security had to get unloved in which made me feel very unsafe being there with my small child. Several games were out of order and the entire building seemed unclean. Not to mention the trampoline is a complete rip off. We recently moved to the state but have visited different Chuck E. Cheese locations and paid for the trampoline experience several times. After my daughter was on for 5 minute

I am speechless on what I witness , I have gone to several Chuck Cheese, and never have I witnessed a more unsafe place than this location. I watched a grandmother and a crying child possible 5 years of age maybe younger crying because some bigger kids took his card.I felt so bad not only for the child but the grandmother who was calmy trying to resovle the issue unfortunately The parents to the other children who were taking the cards was not only loud but scared multiple children including my mine. Upon a

Best chuck e cheese anywhere in middle Tennessee. It's clean and nice and always busy. The worker was so nice earlier today when ordering food. Bathrooms were spectacular when it comes to cleanliness. Kids had a great time.

My grandbabies have been there twice. Apparently you have to have a birthday party to see Chuck E Cheese. My grandson was very disappointed. It's already pretty expensive. Birthday parties are really expensive.

Pad our four-year-old daughter's birthday party here such great employees was on top of everything and even helped put stuff out and offer to help take items to the car At the end of the party Would definitely recommend anyone to give them a try for a kids birthday party

Had a wonderful time with family for a party. The kids had a great time. So clean and friendly and helpful staff. We definitely be back again soon for more fun!!

Just took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese! Emily was absolutely awesome! Not only was she the great American cotton candy maker but she also provided top notch customer service! She was engaging and attentive to the girls, especially when it was time to redeem tickets! A small part of me misses the ticket muncher! But not much!??

Fun place to go in the summer! We signed up for the monthly pass, only 7.99 a month and so worth it!!

Short unfriendly staffed Multiple games broken The mouse is virtual only and not in person to take photos with the kids Pizza was good the best part but way over priced this is a small location located inside the stone river mall with not a lot of games.

Tried out the new trampoline they added and had a very unpleasant experience. My daughter was jumping and trying to play with the other kids but the worker watching over the area kept getting on to my daughter telling her she wasn't allowed to jump with other kids?? Apparently each kid has to stay within their ?square?, but if you go on the website it clearly shows multiple kids jumped in one square. When I talked to management about this and asked to show me where it states in the rules that they aren't

I had to speak to the manager about the summer pass program, to learn how it works. It was confusing but the manager was helpful. The entertainment room was under remodeling.

Attended a Birthday, took my son and he had a great time. Let me tell ya, i tore a pizza UP! Pink lemonade was 10/10 also. Haven't been here in 10+ years

My 3 year olds favorite place! 2 years ago I posted that and have since spent thousands and regularly come in to play the Ninja Turtle game. Today Chris their GM whom Ive never met until today, was disgustingly rude and had the worst customer service skills Ive ever seen. Im literally blown away that he is the GM. He clearly did not have the stores best interest. Let me know when he gets fired and Ill come back. It will happen because Ive never seen such bad management skills in my life there is no way the

Was looking forward to visiting because we haven't been here since the remodel. Spent way too much money even with a coupon. We are a small family on a budget so this will not work for us again. The employees seem like they hate their jobs. Chuck e cheese was out for all of 2 minutes. You barely get any tickets for playing the games and horrible prizes. I can go to the Dollar Tree and get the same items and call it a day. Only redeeming factor for CEC is the pizza is better than what it was before. Main eve

We had a birthday party here and were very pleased with the process-- from booking online to the actual party. We loved the hostess and options available to us. Morning parties are definitely the way to go!

Everyone adults included had the best time. They were so attentive to us and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely do it again!

Great place to bring your child! My 20 month old had an absolute blast! The staff was very friendly and the food was good. They also did a great job keeping the whole place very clean. I would definitely recommend going!

So expensive! And no more animatronic Chuck E. Cheese and friends. Only drinks available for kids are white milk and water. No chocolate milk or apple juice!

Big shout if to Chucky Cheese in Murfreesboro today. There was a little girl that was disabled and didn't understand why other kids got the special treatment in the birthday section. All she wanted was Chucky to come out and sing Happy Birthday to her and the crew in Murfreesboro made that happen. It's kindness like this that makes me happy to spend money at establishments like this. Kindness matters! Good job Murfreesboro for recognizing not ever parent can afford the birthday packages and that some childr

Nice little venue for small kids Cost way too much for a large family If you have 2 or more kids on a small budget, this is not gonna go well for your pocket. Kids cannot share rides. Each kid must purchase their own cards. Food is a bit $$$ for kids Staff are friendly

The games are set to a higher difficulty than Antioch location, making it very difficult win tickets here.

Love the Sensory Sundays they do here. Each month, the first Sunday, they open 2 hrs early and allow families with special needs to come play. They even allow you to bring appropriate food that reflects your kid's diet. The music is lower, lights lower, no scary mouse coming out, and the best part is NO CROWD! My kids love it and it's so much easier on a parents to not have our kids over stimulated while having fun. I wish more places did this. Staff is always pleasant. Sometimes the games don't work and th

Super full today but the employees are holding it down. My son is having a BLAST ?? but I did notice that there were 2 dogs in the restaurant, eating with their owners at the tables (not service dogs). I was extremely surprised about that so I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable returning.

3 stars only because my almost 2 year old had a good time. We went in and wanted to just look and see if there were any age appropriate things for my son to do before paying. From the time we entered to the time we left the woman behind the counter was very rude. You could really tell she hates her job. Not great for a kid friendly environment.

It is usually very very crowded and prices are kind of high, but the kids love it and have a blast!

Kids had a blast!! We dont come here often being we live an hour away but it's well worth the drive..and the kids were stoked when they got to meet chuck e and get a pic with him!! THANKS CHUCK E. CHEESE!

Kids have a good time here, but food is average at best and service is not very fast. I only go for birthday parties if my boy is invited, lots of better pizza places in town.

We love going to Chuck E Cheese in Murfreesboro. It is well maintained, they have a nice salad bar, the kids and hubby play games, and I use the WiFi to get some work done. Works for everyone!

We took our one year old here and she had fun. So many options for her age too. She loved the water game and merrigoround

Nice place to take your kids but the food is expensive. Paid $22 for 2 endless salads that's crazy !

Took my four grandbabies I'm raising. I had as much fun as they did

Salad choices were ample and fresh. Pizza was exactly as expected. We got a personal pizza, a trip to the salad bar, 2 fountain drinks, a wristband game activator, and 45 minutes of play for about $54. Now, the wristband stopped working (time's up notification) at the 38 minute mark, so inquired with the manager who remedied the situation to our satisfaction. After 45 minutes of play, however, my son only received 118 points (equivalent to tickets) so he could only redeem them for a Tootsie Roll and small p

Great service the atmosphere is perfectly fine and Guadalupe was very nice at the front desk when we came. I think she's the nicest person we ever seen at Chuck E. Cheese and we think you should give her a raise

My kids loved the homeschool day. Such a great deal for unlimited play. The food is expensive and not that great, but that's not what we came for ??

The place is great for kids. The food is good but over priced. And the lady working bringing out orders was very rude. She was so hateful jerked the buzzer from my hand. when getting my order. Then we ask for 2 pizza boxes to take home our left overs. The little guy working with her made us 2 pizza boxes and he was handing them to us and she jerked them from him and said NO! those are for my on line orders. Then she said you can't have those you will have to put it in these white Styrofoam boxs. She was huf

My daughter party was pos to be at 5:30 till 7:30 we got there at 5:20 pm and waited till 5:30 and no one came got us for the table that was ours I asked 3 times when we gonna be settled to the table and get our drinks and food and tickets they said oh we're waiting on your person that supposed to be there for you so I had to bring my sister-in-law in there since she went up there and help me to tell them that we have been sitting there for almost an half an hour, waiting on somebody to show up and help up

I took my kids here (Old Fort Rd) for some family fun and I was taken back at one of the people that seemed to be a manager. I saw an older, short grey haired woman in a purple shirt YELL at another employee in front of myself and the other customers. Mind you, most of the employees there look like they are in high school!!! This kind of behavior coming from a woman her age is completely unacceptable. I personally will not be subjecting my kids to this kind of behavior, I would rather take the longer commu

Great place to let kids be kids. Pizza and bread sticks were a hit with the kids. The unlimited play let the kids have fun without breaking the wallet.

Mobs of happy kids, diligent staff. Great place for a kid's birthday. The pizza was surprisingly good. Definitely blew my expectations out of the water.

Great customer service a little slow fixing the machines, a few games kept taking my money but I enjoyed the experience with chucky cheese free tickets and dance time.

Just left Chuck E. Cheese - this was the first time bringing my daughter to this location and while we had a fun time playing games when it was time to check out with our tickets I stood at the counter for about 5 mins waiting for someone to help me then I went over to the food counter and found Rebecca the manager, I asked for help with our tickets and had rewards on the app that I wasn't sure how to redeem and Rebecca seemed very annoyed that I had bothered her from her conversation with her coworker and

We just hosted a bday party for my four year old today! The manager Robyn and our party hostess Saleice were amazing! We will absolutely be back for fun and games as well as our 7yr olds bday party! 10/10

The food was gross I guess it's perfect for kids though. The customer service was terrible. When you walk in its confusing to what you do either order or sit or play. Then you have a group of teenagers standing in groups at the entrance trying to figure out what they are going to do. After getting stamped you should have some one kind of guide the traffic and answering questions.

It's kid friendly and that's who love it the most. Staff is kind of nice a few bad eggs but other than that for a kids place pretty decent. Food is okay but parents they sell beer! Just in case you needed know they have 4 different beer on tap. The pizza is okay for a kids place but the kids seem to love it. Other than that have fun with the kiddos.

Had lots of fun taking my 2 year old granddaughter. Employees were very attentive & friendly. Food was quick & delicious. Play area was very clean & well-maintained. Will definitely be back.

The later the better as far a crowd goes.

A lot of fun for those kids?

Manager Chris was very rude to my Wife and had me removed from the establishment by mall security when we requested Chuck e to come out so the special needs child whose birthday party we were attending could see him. He was very unprofessional, belligerent and disrespectful to me and our whole party. I asked if i could get refunded the 81$ that i had just paid for my meal and he told me that he just works there. Thanks to Chris for ruining a 10 year old special needs child's birthday party. Zero stars, we wi

My daughter had her 5th birthday there today and Kyle hosted her party and was absolutely fantastic! They were always checking in on us. Making sure we had everything we need. Check on the kids. He was very personable provided amazing service. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday party for my baby girl!

I took my five year old daughter here and spent about an hour and half. The pizza was delicious and my little girl had a blast playing the games. The price for thr amount of time you get to play the games can be a little pricey if you have multiple children, but for our small family of three including food wasn't too bad.

The pizza was really good. I smelled the bathroom and it smelled like lavender. Nice employees and the animatronic mouse kept looking at me, it made me feel beautiful. Thank you so much for this great experience. Drinks were refreshing and my children got to run around. Coming back soon to take a dump, have a nice day!??

My kids like to visit a few times per year but its not as fun as I remember when I was a kid. They need more variety for the smaller kids...5 and under. I remember when I was little there was an entire area for littles that included something like an indoor climber and ball pit. Its a good option to entertain kids for a time but its really expensive and plan on helping smaller kids out with 99% of the games.

We have been to this location three times now, and each experience has been wonderful. My kiddo LOVES Chuck E. Cheese?s, so we have been to our fair share. This is by far the nicest I've ever seen. It is spacious, there are a ton of games and ride-ons, and it's clean! The staff is quite friendly, the salad bar (although I haven't tried it) actually LOOKS appetizing and well attended to, and the restrooms have always been in good condition. I love that we can buy a certain length of time and play unlimited

Food was good but I felt that it was over priced for a 4 year old and one pass by a salad bar. The games were ok. My 4 year old had a blast but I miss the skeet ball. Overall the cost for her and me was around $36 for food and games. The location is great and the place is extremely clean.

We take my daughter almost every weekend. They recently updated the private/party area & add new games it's always a fun time.

On 10/6/18- Our family and 2 children with birthdays booked a table/party. The Mega party package was so much more than we expected. The Entire Staff was Fantastic!! Our hostess for the kids was very attentative and informative, to how and when we were able to enjoy every bit of the entertainment and games , and win prizes etc. The party kids played for 2 hours and won so many tickets. It was h are to keep up with them all. They had a great time. If a machine / game was jammed or quit the attendant was r

VERY EXPENSIVE!! Bought a 45 minute play card and large pizza and two kids meals and it it cost $70.00! A lot of the games are more focused on getting points for prizes that you pick out at the end. Only a few games were actually fun to play. At the end my grandson received a very small plastic car which he lost within a day. Next time I will take grandkids somewhere else!

I booked my daughters 6th birthday here. Grace did such a fantastic job. She really seemed like she cared that my daughter and her guests had a fantastic time and they did! If you don't want to put a lot of time or stress into your child?s birthday (trust me I've been to some that are way over the top) book your kids birthday here. My kids and her friends had such a great time! Thank you so much Grace and Chuck E Cheese for having such a great employee!

The price was decent. My toddler had a lot of fun. It was very clean. Everyone wore masks, and temp checks. The staff were so sweet to my toddler. The personal pizza was meh, but my kid loved it. I liked the cheesey bread. Their food has definitely upgraded since I was a kid! They had amazing bathrooms. Super clean and a changing table in the women's bathroom. I'm not sure if there's one in the men's room, I hope so since it's a family place. Anyway. 10/10 would recommend and would go again. Also! If you've

We didn't care for the card swiping on games, liked it so much better with coins and tickets. Only a few games worth playing. They didn't have any one stamping kids hands like they used to for safety. We just found this place pretty boring.

My kids had a great time playing the games but OMG the prices are so HIGH!!! My wife ordered wings and got 6 for 17.99..... Large pizza and drinks 40 . 0 3 game cards for 105.00 no coupons offered

We went on a Saturday on a whim and it was so busy but it wasn't a bad experience at all. This is one huge Chuck E. Cheese. My kiddos had a blast and it was nice to get to do something special for them.

Much more bareable on the pocket now that you can buy time instead of individual tokens.

My kids were super excited about going to CEC today. They played their online game to get tickets before our visit. When we first arrived at 2pm my daughter asked the associate that stamped our arms about redeeming our tickets. He asked a manager through his headset and told her that they would honor them. I thought it was odd but I figured it was something new that they were doing. Purchased 6 cards with 60 minute play times and along with my group had a XL pizza/drinks. As always kids had a great time pla

Wasnt that big but the only thing that kids could do at the mall without having to wait. Wish they had more but they might have had to reduce games because of the pandemic. The kids still loved it. First time my daughter ever went she had a blast. Super friendly staff

Staff was misinformed about seating directing us that a area was available and after getting settled a RUDE manager advised us that it was reserved which wasn't a big deal but after telling her that we were told by staff she stated ? she's not a manager so it doesn't matter? when I said your employees training isn't my fault or my concern it should be yours she sarcastically replied ?ok will do?.. this is not a knock on the establishment but her attitude is a reflection of it especially when you're working

We had our 5 year old daughter's birthday there and it was AMAZING. We did go on a weekday at 11am (which was intentional). But the staff (especially Blake) did an astounding job. Her and her friends had an amazing time! It was truly magical.

The kids and all the parents had a great time. The pizza was good, the games are fun and the security is great.

Hadn't been in a couple years. Son and I wanted to get some pizza and play a few games. Was curious how it had changed. Very clean. Have new games and new card system instead of coins. Very cool. And there was one employee, didnt get his name, but he was really nice and helped us out with everything when first arriving and gave my son a few extra points for the prizes. Will always love the classic Chuckie Cheese! ?

We went during winter break for lunch it was super busy. It wasn't so bad that you couldn't move. Everyone seemed to share the games without any problems. They had plenty of staff on hand and the place was really clean. The pizza was good Chuck E came out on regular intervals.

It was great for the kids they love it.. Pizza not the best but the kids don't mind. Love playing the games with the kids.

They've switched to a point card system instead of tokens, which is more convenient but hurts the nostalgia. Oh well. The value actually seems good though, most games were 1 or 2 points which kept it easy for the kids to know how many they could play. It looks like there's an unlimited option now too, although I didn't try it. We did a 5 year old?s birthday. The value was reasonable, although there are a lot of upsells (website, so that's a corporate thing). Locally the onsite staff was friendly and grea

Got into a fight in front of my 7 year old son

We love coming here to play games and eat pizza. We are not young in body but young at heart. My fave is the skiball. Thanks for still being open to the older crowd as well.

So fun for my little tot!!! He's obsessed now!

Long dead is old Mr. Cheese. In his stead is his son, Chuck E., whose arcade pizzeria beckons to all who desire a wonderful time. Built with enough games to cause a headache for all ages, this great establishment is geared towards the next generation of people, whose imaginations run wild with free tickets and single priced games. I lost my kid, only to quickly find them locked in an embrace with the mouse himself. No shame in slinging the pizza buffet on Wednesday's, while even allowing the employees to pl

This is the first time I've had a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese for one of my kids. I told our party attendant, Mashur, that my son was autistic and he was a bit shy. He made sure to let me know every single detail about the entire party process and warned me when it was going to get loud and asked if I thought my son would be ok with little aspects I actually hadn't thought about. He even asked me to make sure he was pronouncing my son's name correctly before it was time to call the birthday kids.

Upon arriving, the guy who checked us in forgot to stamp my 7 month old son. No big deal. So when we were leaving, they asked me to show a picture on my phone to verify he was MY baby! That made me so happy!! They could have let anyone walk out with him, as he was missing a number stamp that matched mine! I was so thankful & I was assured they wouldn't forget again!

Fun place to take the kids but a little on the pricey side. Birthday parties are fun, but can run into the high $200s if you're not careful. Kids love dancing with Chucky, but I wished there was a little more interactive things the kids could do other than the video games. When I was a kid, Showbiz Pizza and Chuck Cheese was an almost amusement park experience. Now its little more than a Game room for smaller kids and toddlers. Sure, it's still fun, but its feel is somewhat lacking now. On top of that

We had my 4 year old's birthday party here this weekend and had the best experience! Austin was our party host and I have to mention him by name because he was really great. Super personable and very helpful. He literally did everything. I felt way less pressure hosting the party, i just got to play with my son the whole time. The pizza was actually delicious! I feel like an old person saying that when i was a kid i remember the pizza not being good, its good now. Just super great experience all around.

My son had a great time for his 5 birthday party

I like the fact that they stamp you and your child, this is a great security measure because that place can get packed. I'm not to fond of the games they have in there. Some games are good some or not it's more about just getting tickets to get prizes but the expenses it takes to do that I can just buy it much cheaper.

Kids enjoyed a birthday party here. Cleaner than other Chuck E Cheese's and fun...some games did not work and bathrooms were out of order on that visit. We've been to this location since then and the restrooms are working again. Check the website beforehand for coupons. 41 credits is around $12 to give you an idea how much they cost. It can get expensive to eat and play games. A pizza and a couple drinks is around $25 - $40.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
