Chuck E. Cheese

Chuck E. Cheese

Reviews Summary

Overall, Chuck E. Cheese receives positive feedback for being a fun, family-friendly destination with engaging games, clean facilities, and helpful staff. Many appreciate the unlimited play options and updated attractions, though some note the food is overpriced or average. Parents highlight the excitement it brings to kids, especially for birthdays, but a few criticize reduced sensory-friendly options, removed animatronics, and broken games. While most reviews praise the service and cleanliness, cost concerns and limited ticket rewards occasionally dampen the experience. Ratings skew high (4-5 stars), with occasional lower scores citing pricing or outdated features.

We celebrated my nephew's birthday yesterday at Chuck e cheese in Manchester. We had a great party, and the staff went above and beyond. I have a special needs cousin who is obsessed with vacuums. In between parties, they took out a hokey and a vacuum. They allowed my cousin to use both. He hasn't stopped talking about it!! I'm so grateful the staff in Manchester were so welcoming and understanding. Our party was great, but they truly allowed our family to have the best party every by letting every child to

We have the membership and come often. The staff is always friendly and kind to our kids. Everything is always clean and my kids love coming for the games, food and new adventure park.

This Chuck e cheese is okay there was two girls basically doing all the work The cook could have used some help Other than that it was okay Little expensive But they offer reasonable packages It was enjoyable because we could sit eat a little walk around with the children The woman that stands at the door needs to have a chair by the door so she could sit The number one thing that I would take away from this survey is the woman that sits by the door checking the people in and out making sure children don't

My daughter and I love this place! Always new modern/upgraded games to play and it's clean, never too busy, and the food quality is high (fresh, hot, as expected with the exception of the sampler being a small portion). The games are well-maintained with staff (usually) eagerly there to help if issues arise.

My toddler had the best time here! We got the summer plan and have unlimited visits for 2 months for $50. I love the peace of mind of having the UV stamps and security area to only leave with your own kids. The new trampoline area was great for him to get out energy and he could bounce back and forth from games to trampoline to having a few bites of pizza. He also loved when Chuck E came out to dance with the kids for a few minutes and pose for pictures. Great way to spend a few hours and tire out the littl

Hosted my son?s 4th birthday party yesterday. They made it so easy for me. My party host Carla was amazing; she was super sweet and handled everything. Location was clean, bathrooms were clean. All my kids and nieces and nephews (and the adults) had fun! Pizza was good. Would definitely host here again.

Way over priced and bounce house cost additional money on top of the already steep price to play for an hour. And then my kid gets kicked out of the bounce house after four minutes. After you pay for your kid to be in there. Additionally, you have to buy their socks in order for your kid to even go in the bounce house! Their little teenage employees are very rude and disrespectful! I got a full refund for my horrible experience at this place. We're only half the games actually work with no signage to let yo

Plenty of tables and chairs in space for families. They even have a smaller section for younger children. They have long tables with lots of chairs for birthday parties. The one thing they could do better on is having the person who's in the Chuck e cheese costume be a little bit happier and what not. The person in the suit just kind of waves and that's it. They do take pictures with individual kids at no price but it is difficult because all the children are running up to Chucky at the exact same time. My

Overall a pretty clean establishment. Pricing wasn't too bad, most of the games were up and running, a few which were down had employees working on them. The lady who worked with the ticket / prize redemption area was super nice and patient waiting on my kids to choose their prizes(s). One suggestion for improvement is to add another ticket counter, I could only find one.

Great service, friendly employees, kids loved the new trampoline and play area and all the games are nice and updated. Also appreciate the employees and security at the door. Great place thanks ??

We always have such a great time when we go down!! The employees are always friendly. The pizza is awesome and today was the first time having the cookie, wicked good.... We bought the 2hr cards for $33, all you can play, we feel that was way worth the money with the way the kids want to play.

Best Chuck E. Cheese we've been too!!! It's clean, friendly and fun! Lot's of games, we bought a $30+ playcard and played for hours! The prices are awesome and you can buy prizes if you want. Kids loved it ??

Was there for a birthday party formy grandchild. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and how bright it was inside. ( I hadn't been to one for 15 years!) Big difference from when I took my daughter!

My LO is obsessed with CEC. Admittedly, the staff is ?familiar? with us, as my LO is here probably weekly (or more ??). I will say of all the CEC in the area this one is the best, clean, staff are helpful/nice, the Chuck E will stop and high 5 or hug LOs. Not true of Lowell/Methuen/Everett ones. I find the games have a great range. There's stuff for toddlers to adults, but probably the best range from 5-12 for games. I'm surprised by another reviewer saying otherwise. The trampoline area is small and extr

Had the summer pass. Chuck e is always friendly and looks for the kids. They absolutely love it here which makes it 5 stars. I recommend getting the chuck e cheese cups the free refills pay for itself in 2 visits.

All the employees had good attitudes and we're upbeat. The bathrooms were clean and mostly stocked (no soap in the females). The food was delicious the chicken nugget kids meal my daughter ordered had real white meat chicken, crispy fries and a side of fruit. The play card they sell to play the machines is great they have two options load it with points or load it with time. $32 would get you 128 points OR 128 minutes. After it asks you if you'd like bonus points/time for a couple extra bucks it spits ya pu

Nica and clean, family friendly, friendly and helpful staff

Made some awesome memories they have games for ALL ages, the games and play points are reasonably priced 30bucks got my son about 2 hours straight give or take. Chuck E. Cheese isn't the same mouse from back in my time when we would crawl through the tunnels that were hanging from the ceiling.

Food was okay. If you go with unlimited time for games it's a better deal for kids so they can just play and enjoy which is a nice idea. It seemed to be well staffed and friendly service the whole time.

It's not the same as it used to be, but my nieces had a happy time! VERY overpriced now, a pizza, cheesy bread and 2 play cards with 40 pts and it came to nearly 100.00 dollars ?? ??

We had our daughters 6th birthday and it was a fantastic experience!! Our party hosts was right on top of everything, the only thing I had to "worry" about was gathering everyone back to the table at the appropriate times. The facility was very clean, and the entire staff was very friendly.

My son had a Blast , wasn't to packed an the pizza wasn't bad ??

More then annoying tbh I did my child?s first birthday here yesterday it was great but I was being followed around a girl waited for me outside the bathroom asking if I wanted to buy food and we already did lol then three others at different times were coming over to ask if we wanted to buy food we already did lol then they come over and are like check out is 1230? Excuse me I paid for 11 to 1 it's two hours it's annoying when you are being rushed and bombarded at your child?s first birthday party

I would give them a 5 star, but 5 ticket counting machines were down on a Friday night!, and I've never been a fan of their food. That being said, I haven't tried it in years so they may have improved. :D Otherwise it is a great place to bring the kids to play for a few hours at a very reasonable price. $30 in play points kept 3 kids playing for 1.5hrs and still had some left over. You can also pay to play by time rather than per game. A new option that we decided not to try this time. With that option you

Went there for my anniversary! They don't use tokens which I was sad about... But they had a pretty good selection of games . The atmosphere was great for kids. The hubby and I chose to skip on the play pass .. but we kept our card which we can reactivate, and points don't expire!

This place is extremely expensive and not great for little kids anymore. They at some point replaced the activity tunnels , ball pit , etc with a trampoline area. Fun for the kids but eventually they get bored. The little kids area is full of rides that you would see outside of a grocery store. There were a couple of games but overall, my youngest niece who is 6 didn't have many choices for fun here. The games were for older kids , so my other niece who is 9, had a hard time playing /understanding how to pl

Hosted a birthday party for my daughter. Was very easy to plan and set up and the pizza was good like it always is.

First I want to say THANK YOU! During this quarantine there was little to nothing to do for my birthday. I'm 26 but due to the quarantine I have a house full of kids. To accommodate the quarantine Chuck E. Cheese offers take home parties for different prices depending on the size of your party. We got 3 large pizzas 1 large sheet cake 12 goodie bags 12 plates w utensils, including a cake cutter and candles. They blew us up balloons. The goodie bags were far from cheap when it came to the quality of the bag

Overall I like chuck e cheese. My son absolutely loves it here! It's a good price for the money when you buy the "time" to use. However, charging 16.49 plus tax for a personal pizza? The slices are literally 3 inches small. The pizza fits perfectly in an 8" paper plate for almost 17 dollars is crazy. I will say their pizza is good though!

My son had a blast! He spent alot of time in the big play tunnel attached to the ceiling that he climbed around in with the other kids there. The only complaint we have is he was discouraged when he didn't get alot tickets for playing the games and he was mad when a game didn't give tickets at all. He would run up to a game and want to play it and we would explain: "This game doesn't give you tickets" and he would move on. Our suggestion is more tickets when you play a game and all games should give them ou

Surprisingly good pizza. The staff was on the ball and checked in on our group enough to let us know they were there, but not an annoying amount. The place was clean for what it is and most importantly, the kids all had fun.

Super fun ! Very clean! My favorite part was being able to use my play pass to get photos in the photo booths! Safe and always a great adventure for all ages!

It's a lot of fun despite a few games being down every time we go. Pizza is pretty good! A little pricey though but good at least. The summer pass is a great deal and highly recommended if you want to go a bunch over the summer

Great place! Games are affordable. The new trampolines were a hit with my boys! The staff was extremely helpful, patient, knowledgeable, quick and FUN!

We had a great time. Lots of video games and rides for kids. Win tickets and get prizes. They do birthday parties.

Lots of games had issues or broken. Had to have someone come fix the ticket dispenser several times because nothing came out. Pizza wasn't great, but kids had a good time so that's what matters most. Little play area for younger kids 4 & under too. Coupons in value pack are better then coupons found online on website.

Great place for children to run and play and just enjoy being a kid. Tho the card thing is a little different for some children to grasp.thankgully they have a wristband that most kids can wear and activate the games by wearing it.

The pizza here was surprisingly delicious ! Great staff. Lady stamping hands at the door took her job VERY seriously! Chucky came out and did the shuffle dance and ticket toss. Kids loved it and there was another staff member that also joined with the shuffle dance ..she had other duties to attend to but she made sure she did the shuffle. Cant wait to fo back. Great job.

My wife and I attended a Birthday party for a 4 year old family member. The pizza was average and the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. Lots of games and things to do for families with children. At 55+ it is not a place that my wife and I would just drop by. Geared totally for younger families.

Had a birthday party today. Really like the new token structure (card). Staff was friendly and helpful. Even the cooking staff was approachable and accommodating. Fun atmosphere.

Not as inexpensive as it once was but fun for all.

We can't get enough of this place. My 3 year old goes nuts for about an hour or so, and crashes hard for the night. The pizza was really good. Make sure you download the app for 500 bonus points. Good selection of prizes for the kids. Chuck e Cheese could have used a bit more energy. Whoever it was definitely didn't appear to be enjoying their role. Lol. I like the stamp on the way in to ensure kids are exiting with the appropriate adult. The place can get busy, so be prepared for that.

We had an amazing trip was fairly cheap considering, fun family orientated.

Was told we could not order food because their oven was broken does trash everywhere I would not be surprised if Chuck e cheese becomes the next company to go out of business

I went on a week day the lady in the beginning was very nice. There weren't many options for games an hour there was enough for my kids. A lot of the games were temporarily out of service or didn't work. I had to go get an attendant few times to fix our games or get a puck for air hockey game. The games also don't give out much tickets whether you do good or not. Kids like it. It's something to do but a little boring. Little pricy. It was 40$ for 120 min.

Every time we come here with the 2 kids it's been pretty fun. Some days it's busier than others. I would say most games are always working. Haven't tried the food because it's just seems pricey. They always make sure to check your stamp before you leave. I don't see any hand sanitizer around. You would think there would be some since it's probably infested with germs! So we always sanitize our hands afterwards.

My biggest gripe is that Sensory Sundays should be more often, not just once a month. Autistic kids exist more than once a month. The quality of the food has gone down, they got rid of the majority of their attractions that were friendly for the smaller kids in favor of things that made them more money. Replacing the animatronics with huge TV screens was their worst idea. Kids don't need to be sat in front of the TV and fed garbage through a screen. The staff are at least nice and helpful. I hope they find

So much fun for the kids.

The food doesn't taste bad but the prices here are crazy! 31 for an hour of play... and you purchase what ever kind of card or bracelet to upload it to. We use to go I. With a handful of quarters and walk out happy... they no longer have chuck standing the corner watching you... I stead he walks around less than amused to say hi and leaves. We wonder why children would rather watch TV or have phones when they have broken machines and long waits for the ones working. Kids are in the FNAF generation want t

I had a great time some games broke but it was really fun

Excellent for young children! Just needs a family restroom

My grandson lost his mind upon entering this establishment. Games galore and lots of kids. I could have done without the Kid Pop music but he danced from one game to the next. The pizza was delicious and Chuck E Cheese arrived for a birthday party as well.

For our granddaughter's 8th birthday last week, we went to chuckle cheese. We had three kids, four adults. I called the day before with the best way for the 7 of us. I had excellent service on the phone. We arrived the next day and got a large combo meal with two pizzas. It was plenty for us all we got a cake and three cards to play games. The kids loved having the cards and playing !!!!!! Will go back

Birthday party for a 5-year-old was excellent. We had very good pizza and the kids had a good time using up their birthday cards on their machines, I just wish the person who used the microphone to speak. Had it louder and it was really hard to hear because of all the noise from the games. I almost feel there should be some type of separation between the stage and eating and games..

First time for the family, and we can not wait to go back. Friendly faces and great pizza. Plenty of great games and gifts for all ages that go. If you have the chance definitely worth a visit.

The only reason I gave this two stars was because my toddler liked some of the games. Other than that, the food was extremely overpriced and the staff was rude. Would not recommend.

Its was fun for my first time as a father my son really love the place and so did my wife we will definitely be back some time soon .....

Parents- if your kids are sick, PLEASE STAY THE HECK HOME! I swear every time I come to this location, I'm always catching something! This time was the damn flu. DO NOT TAKE SICK KIDS OUT!!!! Have some respect for others. Other than that, I did enjoy this location, as I used to visit as a kid.

It is fun for kids that are 6 and up in my opinion. There is no longer a ball pit or jungle gym. Our 9yo loved it while our 3yo and 1yo really didn't see much to do for them. A lot of the games were shut off or not working properly. The pizza was good but the app sampler was cold and very small for the price. The prizes are over priced for not having games working.

Manager went above and beyond to resolve a game card issue for my kids tonight. Food was good and restaurant was clean (accept for the drink one of kidgets accidentally spill, sorry:( ). Bathrooms were really clean, which a challenge for anyplace that caters to children entertainment. Good work!

I am only giving it one star bc I wanna right this down is a worker name Robert there chubby guy really disrespectful tbh Is really sad that they have people like him working around kid he when and give my child and Other attitude this guy took his shoes off and when in that trampoline staring demanding my kid and other to get out off that new trampoline they got instead of coming and talking to the parent to take the kid away he decided to go and take the kid away himself like how don't u feel like u have

Reason why I give 4 star is the kids that work there. They were very courteous and kind, great job.

Thank you so much for an awesome Halloween themed day it's our favorite holiday. We haven't been back since Covid when Chuck E was hibernating. The smiles from the littles when he came out was absolutely priceless thank you. We had to stay longer to see him again for the dance party. All in all a very good couple hours. Workers were extremely nice and helpful all of them Jerry especially took care of us he was so nice, efficient, and answered all our questions. The pumpkin shaped pizza and all the Halloween

I been here before and I was trying get that chubby guy name but thanks to a customer that left reviews I was available to get his name Robert is a really bad worker my daughter was playing on machine that was no working at that time but she is 3 so she doesn't understand can u believe this guy scream at my daughter to get out off so he could fix it like u need have some respect u talk to that parent no to that kid my daughter came crying to me was really bad experience I hope nobody brings there kids here

Great safety protocols. Still as fun as ever. Very few people.

The kids loved it of course they would but left alot to be desired for grown ups when I was a kid the games were better and the place itself was bigger. Need more food choices and drink choices and staff should be more aware of games broke down while kids are still pumping in their money and wasting it. I wished it felt more nostalgic

This Chuck E Cheese is great! It's super clean and a gentleman is cleaning the entire time and he was so diligent. It's very clean, excellent customer service and we had a really fun time. The staff is all very friendly? the gentleman cooking the pizza, the front team and the door monitor? every single one was positive and kind. Thanks!!

Fantastic Pizza!!!! Great time as usual! It's clean, great games.

I had SO MUCH FUN! I absolutely loved it there. Brought back so many fun childhood memories :') They still have some of the old games I used to play. I think it's a lot more fun than Dave and Busters ESSPICALLY for little ones. The games range from easy to kind of challenging. So I think anyone could go there and have fun really :) The staff are super sweet and ALWAYS ON TOP of keeping things clean. 5 Stars from me

Good for little kids, concerning for older kids.I remember the one when I was a kid had the tubes in the ceiling and ball pit. It was a bigger location though maybe that's it. Almost all of the ?games? for older kids are glorified gambling. Even the ones with game aspects have heavy gambling psych. Maybe 2-3 exceptions. This is why I can't I'm good conscience give it 5 stars. Staff was 10/10. It was as clean as a kid place can be. Rides and a few (actual) games for little kids. You can choose to pay by poin

We always have a great time, don't typically go during peak hours so it's not usually crowded. Disappointed they got rid of the climbing structures- especially the little baby/toddler one. We don't spend as much time here as we used to because of it. Food is decent but over priced (along with everything else). We used to go pretty frequently (I've saved all the photos they've taken in the car with chuck e.) but now it's only 2-3x/year. It's just too expensive now.

Went for a kids birthday, the games are much better for younger kids and the fact that you can buy unlimited games by the hour is really great. The pizza was better than I've had at other types of places.

this is an amazing place to bring children to have fun play games and win great prizes that provide a life time full of joy!????

My wife and I took our 4 yr old daughter here today and had a pretty decent time. The place was surprisingly clean. The food was great and all the kids were well behaved. I couldn't believe it. The only thing that stops me from rating 5 stars is that the staff cleared our drinks off the table while we were playing games when we weren't even done with them, however after notifying someone, they were courteous enough to replace them. Highly recommended for a clean, inexpensive experience for the young one

Was there for a birthday party package for my friends daughter. The packages they offer for partys are pretty good. But The pizza tasted freezer burnt they should also ask the children what type of dots everyone would like instead of making a mixture and hope that every child will receive a flavor they will enjoy also those tasted a little off not sure but weird flavor maybe a little freezer burnt just didn't taste fresh normally taste way better. My child didn't really eat hers because of weird taste hope

Amazing service everyone who works there has always been very polite to me and my family. Plus they also support veterans as always. We will continue coming back here and again on the great side. They've updated their games and added a lot more games!

We enjoy going here on days the weather isn't great. Able to game for $20 for an hour (pretty inexpensive). Never had the food, but full salad bar is avail, as well as kid friendly options. Crowd is a mixed bag, but not typically crowded. Restrooms are clean and the games don't feel all sticky.

Party of 9 went to Manchester NH location today. Very nice greeter, awesome customer service when we ordered, the guy that delivered our food was very nice and upon leaves the person that helped us with prizes was very nice. Rides and games clean, bathrooms clean. Great experience today thank you.

Great place for kids My kids are barely grade school age, but both love this place. They have a broad range of games, rides, and play areas. The really little ones can crawl around on the small stuff. They have a sock only play area for the slightly bigger kids. Then there's the pay to play games. They have everything for toddlers to adults. There's ticket games, arcade games, photo booth games, and even little rides. Everything uses one credit to play. There's options when it comes to paying. You can loa

This Chuck E. Cheese location is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside! Which is great. Clean, nice staff and decent food. Cost for food and tokens are I think are a bit pricey.. That's why only go like once or twice a year. They've been more greedy with the selection of prizes. They are for the kids! I think they should add better toys and affordable ones. Other than that the environment is good.

This Chuck E. Cheese is extremely clean and well maintained. The pizza is delicious however the food prices are a bit steep, $45 for a pizza and chicken fingers combo? Overall a great place to spend an afternoon. I also like how they stamp parents & kids hands on the way in as an extra safety measure.

Our kids, 2 and 4, love it here! Games usually give more tickets than most places and are constantly rotating. Staff is helpful and friendly. We never eat hear, so I can't comment on the food. When Chuck E. visits the crowd, the staff throws out free tickets for the little kids, which is nice for them. We'll be back!

Cannot comment on the food, because we didn't eat. I noticed at the Manchester location they got rid of the child's obstacle course with the slides and the nets and put more games and toddler ride machines. It was very clean, I just wish they had more hand sanitizing locations. They did have a few but I just thought they could have a few more. You can either purchase tokens, or you can purchase time. 30 tokens was $15, or you could have done 30 minutes for $15. Most games are a single token but there w

Extremely pricy, $ 153.00 for 6,14,15 year Olds and 2 adults. Included 1 pizza, salad bar and 3 1 hour plays. X $31.00 however you have to pay an additional $ 3.00 for the play card. You do not get a lot of tickets to spend either. 166 to be exact.

Great place for kids to play games and get energy out of there system. Food has been much improved over what it was but still has some ways to go to be a regular stop, yet that's not the reason people go. Overall it's clean and each child and adult pair get there hands stamped and then checked on the way out to verify you have the right kiddo.

The place was amazing I went on the trampoline Zone, played a few games, I did eat some pizza and noticed in the kitchen there is a coach Chuck poster.

We are here usually once a week! My son loves the games and we take advantage of their great buffet! They put out a new pizza all the time so your never bored. Granted like any place dealing with electronic devices they do break, but this store fixes and checks them every week and is really putting in a good effort to keep it all working! Staff is alway there to assist if something happens! Great place to go with the family!

Went with my 7 year old and a couple of his friends. We didn't eat so I got him a card with 100 "points". They all had a great time. 3 hours of playing games and playing in the tubes and the excitement of picking out his prizes. Was a great day! Was clean and staff were helpful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
