This was my first time at this Chuckie Cheese. It's 2 floors. I was expecting it to be bigger when looking from the outside. They have great games and stuff for the kids to do, similar to other locations. My kids loved the Ninja Turtle game they have at this location. The workers were attentive. There were 5 parties going on, but the kids were still able to play the games. Overall great location! We didn't get any food but the pizza smelled good! Lastly, parking wasn't the best but there is a parking deck t

Chuck E Cheese on Rt 10 is the one that my family loves the most. It's spacious and has a 2nd floor which holds some games for the 8 and over kids. Its clean, the food is great, staff is great and it's near other family fun attractions to make it a win win.

At the request of my young son, who begged me for Chuck-E-Cheese for his birthday today, I ordered the Party Pack through Uber Eats, which he personally selected from the options. He was looking forward to it for several days, as I set it as a pre-order for delivery for the time he gets home. The package is advertised as 2 large 1 topping pizzas, a round Birthday cake, 3 goody bags, 3 cotton candies, a small plush toy, 1,000 e-tickets, and 30 points to use later. He excitedly answered the door only to be

Excellent place for kids to hangout for a birthday party. My 2 years old enjoyed and made good memories.

Here more than I should be ! Son loves it so we got the fun pass staff is nice the manager is very nonchalant but he is nice.

I haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in almost 9 years, boy how things have changed. The food has always been expensive, but it keeps getting worse. Now for this particular visit. What is the point of a kid check stand if it's going to be unattended? I spent there about an hour not once was an employee there for more than 1 min. I had to wait several minutes to be let in, and walked out with my child without anyone checking, so did the family behind me. Now customer service, well let say these employees are g

We booked a party at this Chuck e Cheese for my godson?s birthday and it was the best experience ever! The employees at the store were very attentive to our needs! The food came out hot and sang happy birthday very cute! They explained how the bracelets work for the duration of our party! They sang out loud to really bring the party atmosphere for the kids! I couldn't have asked for a better party and will be recommending my friends and family to this location!

Place has potential. Its large but half the games arnt working which is disappointing. The trampoline section sucks being that u pay ten bucks to jump but u have to wait for someone to unlock the door every time u want to go in. They should really have someone sitting there constantly seeing that kids run in and out. Please address this. It sucks to pay and have to look for someone every time ur child wants to go in.

My kid was invited to a bday party at chuck e cheese. I'd never been before. It was loud. Which was expected. The layout downstairs isn't that great, makes walking around kind of annoying. A good amount of games were out of order, minus 1 star. The card system they have in place of physical tickets is helpful. The pizza was pretty good for what I expected (except for the stuffed crust). My kid actually tried and enjoyed pepperoni for the first time. Thanks Charles!

This two-story Chuck E. Cheese is the most unique location I've been to! There was some fun games there that I've never seen before and the animatronics work great! The pizza was server hot and fresh and the cheesy bread here is delicious! Tables were also very clean and so was the upstairs bathroom (cant say the same about the downstairs bathroom though). My problems with this place is that two of your games weren't working (the Nickelodeon racing game and the soccer game) and that there was some weird sta

I experienced a different chucky e cheese for the first time. I really enjoyed the Robots there. It was a blast! I also liked how it was set up. Staff we're also very nice.

Where do I start not only did our food take 40 mins while the place was basically empty the food was cold. The slices were small like I am talking about thin and uneven. I was handed my food by who I assume was the manger with their vape in hand. I'm saying assuming was the manager due to the fact she was screaming at the rest of the staff honestly quite unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. She was also quite aggressive. I saw her just walk around not working while screaming at everyone else to work.

Went for a 4 yo birthday party. Was great. I mean- it's chuck e cheese, so don't go in with high expectation, but in terms of the various chuck e cheeses i?ve been to, this one was BY FAR the best- clean, spacious, ok acoustics. Was great, all in all.

Worst time ever! Multiple games either didn't work or were "out of tickets." We complained to managers who did nothing at first. We thought they would try to fix the machines that weren't giving tickets or at least restock the ones that said they were out, but they didn't. We complained again and the manager wouldn't refund the rest of our money but gave us a "big winner 500 tickets" voucher. Definitely would've preferred my money back but at least my 4 kids each got something small out of it.

Writing to express my disappointment with the service I received on 1/26/2025 7:30 PM at your Route 10 East Hanover, NJ store. I ordered a pizza and when I opened the box, I was shocked to find that the pizza was covered with hair. This is not only extremely unappetizing but also completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Manager didn't even apologize for the mistake. As a customer, I expect basic sanitation standards to be followed, and this experience has left me questioning the quality of servic

We had a birthday party and it was a blast! Got the minimum package and brought our own cake and goody bags. Ticket blaster was the highlight with free tickets. Large restrooms available and free parking.Dippin dots available in store. No cost to enter .Take pictures with Chuck too . Perfect for the whole family to attend because of different types of games.

Funfilled place for whole family. Tab card access to all arcades. Multiple stories so if one level gets too crowded, move to the other one. Good seating arrangement in between games to keep an eye on your never tiring kids. Food, beverages, ice cream available for purchase.

We came here because it was supposed to be bigger than the rest. Yes it may be larger but there is hardly any games there. Won't be coming back

I visited this Chuck E. Cheese location for the first time after having good experiences at other venues in the chain, but unfortunately, this one did not meet expectations. The staff?s service was disappointing, especially the two young employees who attended me. Their attitude was unpleasant and unprofessional from the start. In a place designed for kids and families, it's essential to have friendly and welcoming staff. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but that should not be reflected in th

Chuck E, you need to get your bathrooms together! I thought the one that used to on Rt 22 was bad but jeesh Rt 10 is just as bad. Other than that its great.

Worst Chucky Cheese I have been in my life!!!!! It's a shame that such a good brand has a terrible staff and by the way so few people working that not even Chucky was available , and after asking several times it finally came out for literally 4 minutes. Then food took for ever to be ready and at the end my daughter was 1 point short of a gift and I was asked to buy 100 tokens that I didn't . Better not to come to a place that is not ready to receive no one , that there is no interest for the customer !!!!

Went after getting a Groupon for the unlimited family pass, the pizza was actually pretty good! The arcades were a hit for the kids but you can tell the chain is a fraction of what it once was. There was a lot of empty space where games used to be?

They set all the games to minimal ticket amounts. So say even if you hit the jackpot you get at most 8 tickets for your game with most games giving 4 tickets. The food was good and they were nice, but you just can't win a lot of tickets which defeats the purpose of most of the games!

We had a birthday party for my 9 year old daughter. The host was very attentive & took care of everything.... So clean and food was good. I would definitely go back and do another one. The kids all had a blast. We love Chuck E. Cheese......

Staff was friendly. Kids enjoyed there time playing. We went during the week early not many people there so kids had choice of playing whatever they wanted.

I was super late to my baby?s party , this young black kid helped out sooooo much with my party that was scheduled for 3 but I didn't arrive until 4:45 . He made our day smooth, everything went perfectly, he knew what to do in every situation. I apologize for not remembering this guy name because he was amazing. Professional, down to earth . Thank you so much, I came out spending about $70 when the plan was to spend up to $250

We had an Excellent fun time on a weekday with my 4 yo who was off from school. The whole place seemed very clean (though they should have people wipe down the games more due to Covid), 99% of the games worked, and the food came out quickly and was tasty. The animatronic characters I remember from my own childhood were constantly dancing and putting on a show. My son LOVED it, and I felt tons of nostalgia.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this place when I attended for a birthday party. The robot characters were a little creepy because their eyes kept closing like they needed some maintenance. The food was also awful, BUT I gave four stars because the kids had an amazing time and all of them wanted to stay forever.

Yasin (apologies if spelling is incorrect) very helpful and pleasant interaction. Great atmosphere and nice new setup.

We recently attended a party at this location and we were pleasantly surprised. The place is clean and well-kept. The party game with unlimited game play for two hours. The place was well-staffed and the staff were polite, helpful, and hard-working. The consensus among the adults was that the pizza was surprisingly good (though it wasn't pizzeria-style pizza). It was an all-around great experience and better than we were expecting!

What can I say? I should have read the other reviews? be warned this pace used to be filled with games and a happy vibe. This place was empty, no games nothing. I won't lie that the employees were keeping the place clean but the attitude is horrible. Just makes me not even want to be here. Let's talk about the elevator to get upstairs. Lord have mercy the stench that was there was unbearable. Someone needs soap and water. Smells like onions. A part from that upstairs had no games either. Whatever happened t

I've taken my kids here a few times and they never want to leave. They have so much fun. Two floors of games and both floors are equally fun. The pizza always tastes good too. It's a perfect place to bring the kids for a treat or a birthday. Music and whole atmosphere is great too. Never had a bad time. The kids having so much fun makes it a great time for the parents and their are games moms and dads can play with their kids.

I bring the kids all the time for each time they have a birthday I have eleven grandchildren as a matter of fact I love it just as much as them

Great palce for kids and family. Spread across two floors. Nice aracde games, food, and facilities.

I am not one to make a review but this place had me livid. I came to celebrate my nieces birthday?s and the customer service was horrible. They took forever to bring out the food for the adults, didn't bring it out til there was only 30 min left for the party, lit the candle for the cake without even informing the guests they were doing so. Basically rushed us to finish up when they took forever even bringing out the food after us asking a million times were it was. Also called ahead to see if they had heli

Ve warned! No playground at this place, pictures are misleading, its only an "arcade" Very expensive and most game do not work. And the games that do work are rigged, it's either impossible to get tickets and if you do manage to get some, they always give you the very minimum. The cost for the prizes are insane, one tiny candy was 30-40 tickets! Go somewhere else is my recommendation, it used to be good but not anymore. They would get more customers if prices was more affordable and games actually worked.

Grandson love it there. I watched the staff going around disinfecting and wiping down the games and rides.

Above and beyond! We found the games and facility clean and well maintained. The food was really good. BUT the best was the staff. Seriously went out of their way to make our day great and made my sons bday awesome! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to have a great time with their kids. Loved it here !

we didn't have the food here, but there were fine with us bringing our own, for those with dietary restrictions. the kids love this place. I have a three and six year old. they both have something here that they enjoy.

I normally don't do this. But went there today early in the day for our son's birthday. Place was empty other than a nother family of 3. I had issues with kiosk for game point and bands. Took a while to find employ to help. And that was taken care of. Order the #4 I think, it was a pizza boneless wings an 2 drinks. When the food was served the pizza an wings were burned pretty bad. Explain that wasn't happy an would like another not over done. Second pizza came out only have burnt. I expect better fo

2 levels of play area and plenty of steps for kids is not good.

If I could give 0 stars I would, by far the worst service ever. The manager is whatever her position is in this location by the name Karen very rude and unprofessional. I have the gold Summer pass, I went there with my husband and my kids. He ordered pizza and he forgot to tell her that we have the gold summer pass so we can get the discounted price, so he was charged regular price I went back to let her know and see if I could verify if it was possible to get the discount applied still, she got pissed off

Every game gave out 4 tickets. Win or lose, 4 tickets. Spin the jackpot wheel - every slot is worth 4 tickets. If you just miss the 4 ticket jackpot, you will have to settle for the 4 ticket consolation prize. Don't waste your time here. Kids seem to like it, though!

The Chuck E Cheese in East Hanover really went to crap. I took my 5 year old there on Sunday September 8th and the manager along with the staff were soo rude. When I called out the staff member for being rude the manager took her side and told me that I couldn't buy a lollipop for my 5 year old son whom she made cry. They are racist there and I will have all my friends and family put bad reviews for them. An adult makes a 5 year old cry and thinks it's ok. Racial people are horrible. They should all

Came out with my munchkin today, and she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. She had a great time, and I wanted to give a huge shout out to one of the managers that assisted us. Her name is Cherese, and she is wonderful and made my daughters experience a good one. We will be back!!!

Kids really enjoy the place. Superb ??

This was the absolute worst experience at Chuck E. Cheese ever. We arrived at 5:55 on a Sunday night. The place had maybe 10 customers. The waitstaff was rude & the place was disgusting. We reluctantly ordered pizza & 2-30 minute cards because we had 2 anxious kiddos waiting to play. 25 minutes later we had no food & had been spoken to rudely multiple times. This place needs some serious management help. And a visit from the health department. We'd never return. From now on, save yourself the frustration an

Celebrated a 6th birthday - our party host Victoria was pleasant, on top of things, and kept everything running smoothly. Will definitely return!

This place is below expectations. Normally I'm friendly with reviews but I can't with this one. I went to this Chuck E Cheese on August 27 to celebrate my sister's birthday party. The outside looks good but as they always say "Don't judge a book by it's cover." When we went inside, it looked weird. Last time I was here, there were animatronics but they're not there anymore. The play pass machines don't work and it only gets worse from here. The play passes are expensive and the rides don't work. They just s

Great place for kids to hang out with a very reasonably seasonal pass

Terrible service. Ava or Eva the assistant party manager had an attitude. Very condescending didn't know what was going on half the time started the party late because she wasn't organized. Most of the employees are just young with horrible attitude. The food was cold, but the kids had fun. That's all that matters but terrible service.

I had two birthday parties for both my kids and each time offered great service, helpful hosts, good food and everyone had a great time including the adults! The manager Aisa was absolutely the best she was so professional and managed our parties with ease. I take my kids there occasionally just for fun to play. Love this location especially after the renovation. Thank you!

The staff was all incredibly friendly and super helpful. It was a weekday so it wasn't busy at all, the location was very clean and all the machines were in excellent condition. So far this is the best chuck e cheese I've been to. They changed around the layout I will say my son misses the animations but the food was ready extremely fast this time! And the interactive floor mat was so much fun for my toddler

Food is a bit pricey...but the kids love it

They've upgraded this location fairly recently. There's more space now dedicated to birthday parties which is helpful. The kids had a good time and enjoyed themselves. Isn't that all that matters when coming here?

Very disappointing. Went to a birthday party, and the employees were less than enthusiastic. The employee who was supposed to be Chucky Cheese and entertain children barely clapped, moved, or engaged the kids. He just stoos there. And the girl who assisted was just as bad. There were a lot of excuses. Explanations to disappointed kids.

Best play time and place for kids .. my kids lover it

This place is fun for kids. Except, it's always packed. Too many kids and not enough activities or space. Maybe its not like that on the weekdays. But it's a madhouse on the weekends. They also don't have a free play area like other chuck e cheeses. I feel like this needs a larger space for the amount of foot traffic and more activities overall for it to be bearable.

Went here for my daughter's friend's 4th birthday party. She loved all the video and ride games. There is also a second floor with more games. The pizza was good and my daughter loved the chocolate birthday cake. Chuck E came out to say hello to the birthday guests. It was a little hard to find because it doesn't have a big sign on the front. This is a great place to come to for the little ones.

I had celebrated my Son?s birthday party this weekend. Unfortunate it didn't go well. I choose ultimate package $36.99 per kid. They served 3 small pizzas in 15 kids by curt each pizza in 10 pieces. Party hat was not provided either. I had bad experience. Never going to celebrate part here again

This place has gone far downhill. The pizza (and even gf pizza) used to be good, but today I could barely get the employees? attention. One of my pizzas was never even ordered correctly, and when I went to claim it, I was given attitude. Then had to order it again and wait - When the Buzzer was going off to pick up the food, I couldn't even find an employee! Carrying my toddler and buzzer around the place, I finally tracked someone down and my pizza was burnt. I came with my 3 kids and we weren't greeted

This place was so bad. I took my daughter here and ordered a pizza for us Mind you I had got drinks just to go with the pizza the manager had told us it would be 10 minutes when we waited over 30 minutes and the pizza was not even in yet then I had asked for a refund and they gave me attitude and would not give me my full refund for the drinks as well. Mind you he didn't even touch the drinks. Yes, we filled the cups up But we were waiting on our food. I am in such disgust. Will never come back here again s

Terrible and I wish I never visit again. Overpriced for a wholesale birthday party. And the long queue to get anything.

Good customer service The food is good

If I could give this place a 0 I would. We came on a wends day, there was only 2 other kids were here and we were the only ones ordering pizza, the cashier at the front had told us it would take 10 minutes mind you we are the only ones here. after 30 minutes we had asked if our pizza was ready and the cashier had went to the back and had came back and told us it's gonna take 10 minutes because they had not put it in all the workers here are just lying around on their phones talking to each other not to ment

I love taking my god daughter here but I am very concerned about the safeguarding protocols. While they still use the stamping system (where they use invisible ink to give you and the child you arrived with the same stamp) when you check in, when we were leaving today the employee (young male in his early 20s, did not get his name) did not check the stamps on the way out. I even turned around and asked if he needs to check the stamps and he said ?no you're good to go?. He was not even the person who checked

Staff was so friendly and sweet and it was very clean. Not the Chuck E. Cheese I remember as a kid. Definitely better and cleaner.

The drinks cups were quickly swiped away, I sud hold onto it.

Staff was not able to load time on the wristbands for the kids to play. We waited along time. The manager had to request help from the other manager? This manager came out from where the food is made all disheveled, I mean hair was messy, the woman had to put on her shoes while exiting the area food is made? What was going on back there? After the wait of over 20 minutes, they gave us the cards for the kids to play. This place should not be open while construction is going on. There are large holes in the f

The fa r it was like 3 kids when I walked I was very happy it wasn't crowded.

We visited this ChuckE (east hanover)to celebrate our sons birthday and I was soo impressed with how welcoming and patient aysia the manager was(sorry if i mispelled the name Ms.Aysia). She took her time to explain the game cards and our options. We did not eat but on many ocasions we saw the staff cleaning and making sure everything looked fresh. We went on wednesday so it was great no big crowd and my kids were abel to just run around and enjoy.most of the games worked and even the picture booths were mai

Nice place to host kids birthday party.. It was our first time here and we were not aware about the sequence in which they plan the activities. We did things as per our convenience and that created confusion.. however the staff helped us the best they could.. It would be helpful if they could provide details about the sequence in which they plan the event when the host reaches..

terrible place, dirty, customer service super bad, there was no ice in either of the two machines, most of the games do not have tickets, the manager and the employees chatting and the people lining up to be served????

Budget friendly activity for the kiddos. Could be more fun and stayed longer if AC was working. 2ND floor was like you're in a sauna. Could be broken or just cutting out expenses coz there were only few people there that time.

Was used to Chuckie Cheese with the balls but my son loved the games that they did have and I even played with him.

This place hosts nice birthday parties. My kid had a blast. The only thing that sucks is some machines only give out for tickets at a time despite how good of a job you do in the game . The host was nice and got the kids pumped up to party. This place was clean and the food wasn't too bad. I would come back here again.

i understand, it's very crowded but The food took so long to come out and they were not very nice about it. Plus my sister in law tried to get the cake and said she was being spoken to rudely . I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm sorry at least be nice about the food coming out 2 hours later.

Visited on a holiday weekend and the crowd was very light for a Sunday. However, they're clearly understaffed and it's showing in many ways. Many of the games are broken/inoperable. They gave some (not all) kids tickets for a prize (free ice cream, cotton candy, etc), were out of prizes and wouldn't provide an alternative or another ticket. Many of the toy/candy options for points were unavailable as well. Staff is cranky at best and complaining about their job/each other. Personal pizza took over 45 minute

The kids working there were fantastic today. They deserve a raise or something. My son is very shy and they were really good with him and the other kids at the party we were attending. Best birthday ever. I may have his party there next year.

Is nice and clean, not overcrowded cons, not many options for kids to play. However, I understand it is due to space.

The food is good and its fun. The only issue was there was about 4 or 5 employees and Yvanne seemed to be the only person working. There was a wait to buy pass, food and to try to redeem tickets took to long. I am waiting for my next visit to redeem. The new employees need to be trained in other areas, so when there is a party, like there was today, it won't take so long. The only reason I didn't walk out because my 2 1/2 year old grandson wanted to go there. We live about 20 to 25 mins away so that would h

I noticed the bad reviews are from years ago so either they changed management or staff but I thought this location was fabulous! I brought my 3 yearold niece here and she and I had so much fun!! So many fun games and rides to choose from. We were greeted by Davon who was so friendly and helpful! I have never been to chuckie cheese before and he walked me to the booth and explained how to purchase what I needed, he was extremely helpful and everytime he wasn't busy I saw him wiping down all the rides and g

The workers/associates seem bothered when asked a question. Pizza super salty. Wings soggy. Just a mess!! 1 cashier when there were so many people. Shouldnt have to wait to order. Poor management. Terrible. Upstairs was like a sauna. Kids couldnt play to hot!! Never again will i come here.

They got rid of the animatronics. These aren't ?exciting remodeling efforts?, they're just sad. The band has always been the best part and I'm sad I didn't get a chance to say bye to them before they were gone. (Walk arounds and cartoons aren't the same at all).

We took our youngest daughter (she is 2 and a half) here yesterday, and she had a blast. For a Sunday it wasnt all that crowded because it was super bowl Sunday. everyone that worked there was polite and helpful, but you could tell they were stressed out for being short staffed. It was clean in there and all the games were working(I've seen a lot of reviews saying a lot of the games did but work so they must of fixed them). Upstairs is for the mostly older kids and we also had fun up there too. I cant say a

I take my kids to many locations. But this one takes the cake. My kids were saving up their tickets for the biggest prize they had. The cashier was so happy to give it to them but their was a discrepancy on the amount tickets needed for the prize. The girls spoke with the manager and told them the kids were saving up their points and tickets for their prize, and they were so sweet. In the end, Antoine the manager agreed and made my kids so happy. Thank you so much Antoine for making my kids so happy. They c

I brought my son there for his 7th birthday party yesterday, most staff was attentive and helpful. Prices were fair and the kids had a great time. We will go back for my other son's birthday more than likely.

This seems to be one of the large Chuck E. Cheese's and staff is friendly. They recently updated some of the machines and it spits out more tickets now so the games are more fun. I mean really for a small child 20-30 bucks can easily last a few trips and they'll have a blast. Good tube play area and lots of tot friendly games with a few for older kids as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
