The games r fun and the customer service is mid tier at best. We sat in a booth and ordered pizza ! They serve recycled pizza GROSS!!! The games were fun though I guess that's a plus. And the booths r nice , better than shitty tables
The bathroom smelled like old milk, neither soda machine had ice one spit out mt dew in so fast it sprayed everywhere and I spent the rest of my time covered in it. When it was time to turn in tickets I had 5 separate employees make eye contact with me and turn and go the other direction. When we finally saw who I think was a manager my friend called out to them and she put her finger up to her and turned the other way as well. Once we finally managed to get someone to help us we were not handed what we ask
As a Dover native, I've seen the city grow and change over the years. I remember when the Chuck E. Cheese was first built, but never had a reason to visit until recently when my children were invited to a birthday party there. I had my reservations, as my childhood memories of Chuck E. Cheese in surrounding states were of a much larger venue, and I had heard tales of the stereotypical Chuck E. Cheese experience. I assumed the Dover location would be similar to the old Club Kids, and thus, my husband and I
We hadn't been here in years, but we had to find something quick for the kids to do on a Monday night. So we took my nine-year-old daughter 13-year-old nephew and two-year-old niece here to kill time. The older kids, wind and cried and didn't wanna go, but they had a ball. We all did. We bought the 60 minute passes and my daughter got the $10 trampoline pass so we ended up spending quite a bit of money but we all had fun playing the games. The $10 trampoline pass was not worth it because she might?ve jumped
I bought the monthly Chuck E pass for my daughter so she has an outside the house activity option. It would be a good value, but this particular location charges $10 PER VISIT just for kids to use the trampoline. I was going to cut them some slack on this before because I thought it was a 1 time fee for their "special" socks. This just feels like both greed and desperation. When we use our pass at other locations, they include the trampoline. Not to mention, this location doesn't have any other playground-
Food, and the activities are excellent! My son always has a great time. The only reason not 5 stars, is due to cost. A large pizza, trampoline jump, and an hour of unlimited play was 67.00
Only problem was they closed early when we went. Still had time left on our game cards. They was suppose to close at 9 they closed an extra hr early.. but kids had fun. Not as crowded during the week.. avoid weekends unless it's for a party.
Do not order the 99.99 party AND preorder food. They don't know how to ring it up. They aren't trained in customer service. They will not honor/discount errors made on their behalf. "Chuck e cheese" has no life in him, no pizazz, does not get the party started. Only go here for a quick indoor recess for your kids. One topping pizza, yes. Specialty pizza-no. Because "they are trained" to not make the pizza to not include peppers and onions on the bbq chicken pizza, even though the photo of said pizza clearly
What a great space! Came for a birthday party and was unsure what to expect ? it's not the same as the 90s! This location is clean, maintained, and fun! The staff ensured our party was ready to go on time and that everyone had fun. They promptly addressed any issues and kept the party going. Pizza was tasty too!
My daughter wanted to stop, and I had not been to a Chick E. Cheese in years. We had a good time. Not many people there. Went to the bathroom, which was extremely gross. It was dirty, and we had to hold our breath. Not sure we would return.

I want to commend DEB,JOHN,JAMES AND CRYSTAL for their great customer service towards my son and his friends. They went above and beyond to make sure my son had everything he needed to make his night a great experience. From the time I walked in the door everyone was professional and attentive to the children. I can't wait to bring my son back so he can enjoy himself again with the clean atmosphere and wonderful workers.
Had a good time up until kids became hungry....waited over an hour and no one had said anything regarding my order so I decided to go take a look as to what was taking so long for the food. Not a single pizza was made nor coming out the oven. I asked the lady if my food was ever started and she stated no one had come in to shred cheese so that entire time I had been waiting they were in the back shredding cheese! At that point I simply asked for a refund because my children were starving and couldn't wait a
They had 4 people running the place and the food orders got backed up. I felt bad because they were kids and the main cook called out.
5 year old had a blast at friend's birthday party! Games for all ages. Seemed pretty clean and well kept considering the number of kids passing through. Electronic scan card system works well and shows remaining balance each time. We loved the photo sketch booth! Good pizza too.
Wonderful place for kiddos to have fun in a controlled environment. They used to be more strict with families getting stamped in with their kids as they walks in so there were no problems but the last time I went they didn't even stamp us. Also the customer service is great, just not a lot of staff for all of the areas (check in, food, and gift redemption areas). Prices are good for what the kids can do! Worth checking it out if you haven't! (Picture attached shows prices for playing since the website doesn
Just to get a large pizza and 4 drinks is around $34.00 dollars and then to get tokens depending on which option you choose is another $20 plus dollars.. I loved the meal deals back in the day where you got both of them for the price of one. They got rid of the climbing probably because COVID and now it's a mini trampoline bounce then that's also an additional like $12.00 dollars to buy along with getting socks for the jumping. It's becoming more of an expensive side than the kids fully enjoying themselves.
Rude manager, not a great time for my little one and elderly mother. Met with tone and attitude. Have already sent a complaint across and I never do that. Ruined the experience for everyone there.
Great, clean, excellent place for kids birthday parties. They have rides, games, playground and Mr Chuck E. Cheese himself walking around. Food was decent for where we were at, no complaints. The party hostess was excellent and friendly. The staff was friendly.
Me and my Boys love coming here.. We celebrate their birthday here every year. The staff are friendly and helpful. The kids always have the best time here. Always leave with lollipops and smiles.
Came here for my nephew's birthday party on 10/26. The salad bar had brown rotted lettuce so no one could eat it. When asked by multiple people to change it out, we were met with bad attitudes and eye rolls. We weren't given the party food at the right time and had to ask for plates and napkins and was once again met with attitude. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with toilet paper all over the floors. It's a shame they charge over $500 for a birthday party, and it was like this. We will not be retu
After playing 2 hours of ski ball constantly. and averaging 28000 per game of ski ball I achieved 1248 tickets and was able to buy 31 air heads and a bag of cotton candy. this was an extremely successful trip everyone had fun and the pizza and unlimited drinks were wonderful (:
We had a great time and the staffs faces were full of similes and they were very helpful. I also noticed that someone was always cleaning the play areas. Overall great experience.
Great service and helpful, respectful staff. Kids always have a good time!
My kids love this place. So we make a point of visiting quite often
My Hubby and I took our Pungest Grandson there on A Sunday. His two Uncle's showed up and Played all the Games and Rides and Climbed the Big Jungle Gym and rode Down Slide. He got Alot of Tickets and Then we ook A Break and He wanted Pizza, you could tell He wanted to Keep playing but he Ate Two slices of Pizza and his Drink and went back to play. He had A Great time. His Grandfather and I helped him get A few more tickets, Before I knew it We had been there Three Hours, So He cashed in his Tickets and got
Kids love it here.. not the best place to eat with them but younger kids love the games..
The employees did not clear the area as needed the customer was doing all the work They ordered a large pizza got a medium They said they were running outta dough so that's why they got a medium and it shrunk did not reimburse them for the pizza No professionalism in doing a party at all Not happy with service at all.
A horrible experience today, in this place first when we arrived the service was terrible the woman at the cashier was on her personal phone and had a horrible attitude, Second, I think we should be welcomed, because we are the ones who are going to consume and contribute to this business. not to receive bad attitudes and contempt, we ordered #5 which costs $61.19 and ended up paying 136.68 I understand that it went up because of what I added But the worst thing was the salad. Everything was full of water,
It's a great place to bring your child. However, some of the staff is too busy on their phones to notice you need assistance. Our food took exceptionally long but that was because management only had 1 person in the kitchen. The manager was too busy talking to notice. Like I stated, great place for kids but frustrating for adults that know what good customer service is about. The bathroom air dryers have as must air power as a gentle breeze and the paper towels were out.
Just a great place to take the family. Even mom and dad have fun. Staff was helpful.
Absolutely love it here. So many special memories here. My son could go anywhere in the world and he's gonna choose Chuckee Cheese 9 times out of 10. We come to this one every weekend. Staff is so sweet, it's always busy but never tooo busy, I love the play as much as you want in an hour card. Too many pros, not many if any cons. Love it here ??
Always an awesome visit each trip we make. Chuck E Cheese ?? where a kid can be a kid! ??
Shot out to Kute, Casey, and Zaire! They really made my day at Chucke Cheese worth going. The atmosphere was very welcoming and they all served with beautiful smiles on their face. Keep up the good work! I really appreciate great customer service. You Guys Rock
Went there for a Birthday party. Had a great time. They now have adult food, rewal fresh salad bar and the make there own pizza dough. FOOD: Very good / SERVICE: Very Rude ATMOSPHERE: Fun the kids had a great time
Chuck E. Cheese in Dover, Delaware, is exactly what you hope for in a family fun center ? a place where kids are free to be kids, and adults can relax knowing their little ones are having the time of their lives. This location lives up to the Chuck E. Cheese legacy with its great atmosphere and an endless array of games that promise hours of entertainment. The atmosphere here is vibrant and filled with the sounds of laughter and joy, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of fun. The games and activities
I have been there 3 times in the last 6 months for 3 separate birthday parties. The birthday children were ages 4, 10 and 5. Every. Sing. Party. Was a complete mess. The party host would either forget about the party all together or would be completely rude. The food was super expensive and slapped together. The salad bar was gross. And on top of all of that half the games didn't work! The children didn't have fun and the guest felt weird and in the way. I am here to warn you NOT to have a party here!
Horrible experience with a rude manager. Not a very fun place for my toddler or myself.
I take my daughter here often. But this time was an awesome visit! The staff were friendly and very informative. I never knew half of the things I could do with my account or how to use it for that matter. The manager Kyle in particular went above and beyond! We look forward to visiting even more now!
Disappointed they got rid of the anamatronics. Was the only reason why we go
I loved it here, friendly staff and my kids had so much fun!
Had mt babygirl 1st Bday. She had a blast and so did everyone else.
Great time with the kids. The timed play avoids the stress of keeping track of who is doing what. The staff was AMAZING! I can't believe how friendly and helpful they were through our entire visit. I was expecting this visit to be a chore that I had to endure so the kids could enjoy a special treat that they had earned, but I genuinely had a wonderful time there with the family. If you haven't taken your kids here, it is definitely worth a visit! As a side note, they are very careful about covid and h
Great games and good fun and entertainment for the kids and being there as an adult you get drawn into the fun zone.
The staffs we're great they have my orders right from delivery for my food and I give them to 20% tip thank you so much!
It's was pretty cool here. The kids and adults had fun. It's just super expensive. Especially they food. I mean I don't mind paying but it least have the PRICES OF THINGS MATCH YALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our host for my son birthday forgot his balloons, tickets master machine was broken and when Chuck E Cheese came out he knowledge the other instead of my son for his birthday which was included in his package.
Called 5 times to place a to go order. No answer. Drove to the site. 4 employees and a 1 father with 1 child customers in the store. We waited for our tiny extra large pizza. Took it home to surprise my son with the pizza he grew up with. It was horrible! Will not be returning.
I attended my nephew birthday party today and nothing was setup. We waited over an hour and still nothing. When I spike to the Manger Nate he really took care of everything and turned that experience to a great one.... Please hire more people like him!
This place was absolutely terrible. My son who was only 2. Had never been to a place like this. So he was very excited and running around. None of the parents seemed to be bothered by it. However a worker in the food area decided to open her mouth regarding my son who is a toddler still learning to listen. Saying all types of foul things about him. On top on the we received burnt fries. And the place reeked of weed. Just wait until they open. I'll be making phone calls. Why work at a children?s place if yo
We had an amazing time! We had 8 people in our party and purchased the best birthday package they offer. The manager who set us up usually doesn't do the parties but she was short staffed and handled it great!! She was amazing and friendly! Because of her we will be back there for all our kids birthdays!!
Overall, it was a fun experience for the kids. Food wasn't too bad. Customer service was really good. Pretty clean except for the bathroom. We'll go back.
Great place to take the kids!! Clean and friendly! Kole was so patient and friendly, he went above and beyond to make sure our visit was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Not overly crowded and our service was very good! We had a birthday party for a ten year old. The kids loved it !
It's tough to give this place a hard rating cause I came here with my kids at 11am the day after 4th of July. So you have to imagine, they're not expecting big business. I just want to point out that there was a young blonde woman who quite literally did everything. She was clearly training the register girl, preparing food, cleaning, working the ticket counter, etc. Our experience wasn't that great to be honest. We ordered food, and it was half wrong, and one item didn't even come. However, the young
The kids had fun with the arcade games. The restaurant was clean, but the service was not great. Our pizza order was wrong. The chicken nuggets were dry and needed some type of sauce.. It also took ages for the food to come after we ordered. It's expensive for what you get. If you're just going for the arcade it's not bad.
Had family member first time day here and it was great. Pizza, service and games were excellent.
No stars if possible. The young ladies working at this Chuck E. Cheese didn't care about ANYTHING! NO ONE greeted customers when they walked in. The ladies kept their heads down and never acknowledged anyone. One of the women had their kid there while they worked and wasn't paying attention to him. He was slurping his drink that he spilled off of the seat of the ride he was on. Poor kid. This was our first time visiting and most definitely our last. It was a horrible experience for the kids. So sad to see
Still a decent value and the food is pretty good. Even though prices have gone up, having the app gives you breaks with rewards and specials. Games get swapped out regularly enough to keep my son interested.
We had a great time overall despite our kid only being 2, there were a good bit of games she could play but lots of neat stuff for older kids. (Like a giant hamster wheel) There's a good bit of automatic cars and trains for them to ride, although one was broken. And a play place that was pretty clean considering loads of kids play on it. Place was a lot cleaner than my last visit over a year ago. The manager or shift supervisor was very friendly and on top of the place. No issues even though it was a pretty
I was actually very impressed. My daughter had been begging to go so that decided to take her on a random Saturday. It wasn't crowded but not for a lack of enjoyment. It was clean and the food was decently priced for the quality. In terms of games they had small rides for little kids and games for older kids. You had to buy a card as the games/rides didn't take money. You could purchase by time or credits. I purchased 30 minutes of play and that was perfect as it wasn't "wasted" of my daughter wanted to ju
Over half the games was broke with no sign stating otherwise. Overly crowded had like 5 birthday parties at one time. Dishonest/rude people, taking other customers food making wait time for food ridiculously long and food cold.
Not the Chuck E. I remember but it's a nice modern take, this location was nice and clean, food was awesome, the pizza and the wings! Very impressive, better than some standard pizza joints
Nice arcade. Definitely a just for kids place. My children had a blast. The downside to this particular location is the very inattentive staff. Tried getting help with a few things but they were too busy talking with one another to really help. And when my kids went to trade their tickets in, the ticket counter machine was broken and just ate up the tickets. We were not reimbursed for them. Also the lady that helped us seemed real impatient with us as my kids were trying to pick their prizes with the ticket
I took my niece and nephew there for their birthday party spend over $100 for horrible pizza and there was so many people there. It felt way over crowded. And I paid for there party package they offer there. We had a private hostess we only saw twice once to get our drinks once and than to hand me the check. Than we waited for over 25 minutes to get their tickets cashed in to get them toys that were either broken in the box or ended up being broke by the time they got home.I expected the experience to be en
We had a wonderful time today. When I walked in, it smelled really good and I could tell everything was sanitized. The children had a ball. ??
While I will admit, my kids had fun the staff was VERY unprofessional. I will not ever go back to the DOVER Chuck-e-Cheese The young lady checking people in/out was too worried about her cell phone and "getting food" than she was making sure people had matching stamps checking them out. She complained and walked away MULTIPLE times. Not to mention she kept digging in her head/hair every 5 minutes around the food as well. This place is a daycare, simply for people to take their kids and not pay a lick of att
Been going to the Dover DE Chuck E Cheese for a while now. Everyone is always extremely helpful and the building and games are always clean. A special shout out to Nate Dudley, he went out of his way to make my children and their friends happy and bent over backwards to help us when he had issues with the computers there. That man deserves a raise! Thanks you again Nate
My daughter and I loved Chuck E Cheese! It was clean and the food was good. I would recommend the bread sticks and cheesey bread but the chicken wings were very fatty. I love the new card system instead of tokens. Thanks for all the fun!!
Definitely not how it used to be .. at all. The people working there don't pay attention, have a good attitude , and should work on customer service . Went today with my family and don't think I'll be back .. I don't see this place lasting any longer . Heard them talking about hours being cut and I definitely see why things aren't getting better .
Game room is a little small compared to other Chuck E Cheese's, but the staff is helpful and doesn't seem to hate when you ask for something, like others I've been to. Food quality has gotten better and the value for time is pretty decent.
Really nice for young kids, one of the cleanest we've been to! The manager Ms. Deborah was amazing!!! She took such good care of us. Highly recommend.
My son, who is 4, and I were 2 of only 5 customers in the entire restaurant. Despite this fact, I stood at the counter to order pizza for 5 minutes while 3 staff members ignored me. My son had a great time playing the games but there was NO customer service. I was more irritated by this fact due to the lack of customer volume. No excuse for any wait time when there is practically no one at your business.
I'm highly disappointed in a place that I've grew up loving throughout the years. My family and I went to Chuck E Cheese in Dover at 8:17pm today for my son's 3rd birthday. My son was excited to be celebrating his birthday with Chuck E and family. Instead we were told by the staff that it was closed and they were not accepting anymore guests. I questioned the closing because the website clearly lists the hours of operation, so it should not have closed until 10pm. We were lied to and humiliated. This of c
The salad bar today was absolutely horrible. all the toppings looked to have been sitting for along time. The bacon bits were grey, The tomatoes looked horrible as well as the lettuce! I would not recommend eating any of the things at the salad bar
I'm a grandmother took my grandson to this place, he had so much fun..when we got done he feel asleep in the car. We stayed from 11 to 1 he needed it and so did I. I still have kid in.me so I played some games with him. It was good
Let me start by saying I understand this is a place for kids to run around and have fun. But that doesn't mean for the kids to be unsupervised at probably the age of 2 when the kids are stealing tickets out of the machine running up and down the skee ball machine and stealing the soccer and basketballs while other kids are playing. That is what my kids had to deal with tonight. Staff saw what was happening and did not seem to care. I also encountered a lot of machines out of tickets and the staff act
disappointed. I sent my two kids to chuck e cheese with their grandmother. Each child had a $20 gift card to purchase points to play. To my surprise I was told that one of the cards did not have funds on it and was not able to be used by my child. My mother advised me that an employee said I needed to check the balance. You would think since they were at chuck e cheese that someone would have the ability to check while they were there. Needless to say I went online and entered in the card number. The card h
Worse e place ever...no food service.. the two ladies didn't even know how to work the register. I guess the the computers are down. Actually it's just arcade that is dysfunctional.
My family here from Montana - it took 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Then when we wanted a snack ? that took about 20 minutes to even see an employee. And Woukdnt you know it - cashing out tickets - at the very least another 1/2 to find an employee. Horrible customer service.
Came here for our 4 year old son's birthday and all the kids had a great time. They have definitely gotten better than they used to be as far as overall quality.
A friend of mine held her sons birthday party at the dover location. This party service was by far unprofessional. We arrived and had to wait because they did not have our table ready for us. Our personal food took forever for us to recieve. I myself ordered a personal pizza and waited over 30 minutes before I had to go up and ask what was going on. I stood there for 15 minutes with numerous workers looking at me and not once did I get asked if I had been helped. I was number 33, when I realized number 34
Had a blast. Took my 3 year old son for his birthday and he had a blast. Best advice is to get the card for a time period rather than paying per game. Worth the money.
First time every been there took 3 kids. Extremely expensive. 15$ for 30 mins! Seriously! . Was No ice in machine. Flat soda. Food horrible. 45 $ for 1 pizza and wings. . Spent-over 2 hrs there. No character experience. Even though it says every half hour. I asked and they said was waiting for birthday to arrive. So guess you have to pay extra for characters to show up.
Great atmosphere, family friendly, plenty to do. Definitely will have a great time with the family!
I especially love the protection and safety checks for the children and their families entering and leaving the place. The pizza and wings are out of this world. The kids love the games. Hospitality was great!
Okay so 5 minutes in the door I was desperately trying grab a table for my 2 girls -all the while holding a tray with 3 drinks, a stroller and diaper bag. I accidentally sat my stuff on a Birthday table. I was swiftly approached by the General Manager- "you can't sit here". I said OH! I can't sit here? "No these people paid 50 dollars per table, you can't sit here". I totally understood but his reference to 'these people' being more important- when I just spent 50 bucks on bad pizza and a few tokens, lo
The staff was very pleasant, I've been here many times & the new manager here "Kute" went above to reassure me my grandkids were safe running around. Will definitely revisit more
Great place! My kids really enjoy it here. They got some new machines a few months ago that are really cool. It's a lot of fun. Also, the pizza is LEGIT!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
