Terrible customer service, and of course got that feeling from the front desk. The feeling some of us know.

It's very unprofessional for any business to close before posted closing time, jus sayin. On more than one occasion, I've stopped by well before midnight, like 11:40pm this time to buy a couple things and the door was locked. At least change the closing time to "midnight-ish"

There's a security guard here that's very rude. The tall older blk guy with a beard was at the counter with another woman (she was friendly at least) and I asked what it's like inside and about the difference between both sides of the arcade bc it was my first time here. His response was "idk what do you think the difference is". Obviously if I knew I wouldn't have asked? Lol If you don't know how to be affable and make small talk then maybe you shouldn't interact with customers

Terrible place the people who work there are so judgmental even tho they are 100% gay. They make you feel uncomfortable and un wanted. I wish them luck for future patrons. But not me. I disagree with all the people they have working there.

Staff was extremely helpful. They helped me to find the perfect new shoes and outfits to wear for work. They are all just very friendly, down-to-earth, and really cool people. Love the great selection of merchandise there! I'll definitely be going back very soon!

Great experience shopping tonight thanks to such genuine, friendly, and helpful customer service provided by both Meaghan and Reese. Happened to be in the area and stopped by for some products you'd come to find here, and it's a good spot with pretty decent prices and quality product. However, the reason I had to immediately write a great review was due to the staff mentioned. They were outstanding, exceeded initial expectations by far, and made our overall experience as awesome as it could be.

Stopped by there while on vacation with my husband and just have to say, staff was fantastic. We had a manufacturer defect with something we purchased. Not only did they fix the problem, but also gave us fantastic free gifts due to the inconvenience. Only complaint was they have too many items to look at and we were there over an hour the first time, and then again when we came back for the exchange :)

I've been a long time regular for 40 years (5/8/82). What makes the Chateau what it is not just the Theater (which is famous and legendary) but its the ownership,management,and staff that makes it a great place to come and shop, but also to meet like minded singles and couples. I've never had a bad experience. The staff are absolutely the best in Charleston hands down!!!! So, I encourage everyone to come to a Charleston adult shopping/entertainment institution, The Chateau Exxxperience!!!

Wow! This place is the best adult theater experience I've ever had. There was a couple there, that was excited to have an audience. I'll definitely be back. Workers were friendly. Theater was very clean and nice. Contemporary movies playing. Good air flow. Not stuffy at all. Five out of five. Plus if you leave you can go back in. Felt very relaxed.

I love this place. The staff has always been great, and I've become friends with some of them. There's always special package deal, a great theatre, and a huge inventory of retail items for every taste.

Kalie is hands down happiest person you will see. Walk in the door and greeted with a smile and great energy. She is always ready to answer questions and make customers experience best it can be, just love her and honestly go back to this location to see her. Store is always clean other staff is always helpful!!! Great small business!!!

This place is the best adult store in the Charleston area. There is not a bad thing to say the staff is great along with a few pieces of eye candy to check out to help you find your items of choice. I've been to some other stores in area this one is far the best.

The sales associate made me feel so comfortable and was classy throughout my whole shopping experience. She was knowledgeable and truly guided me through my product selection. We went there last evening. Was out 1st time in such a place. We loved the theater ( the movie sucked ). But we had fun. My wife was nervous, but was still able to enjoy it. We went to the arcade room, n left door open ( not sure if that was allowed? ) but was fun..we'll definitely be back. Wife has more ideas..

Visited this store last week. Girl behind the counter was super friendly & very helpful. Explained what store had to offer & was very comfortable there. Went into theater for a while & people were very respectful & nice to play with. Great experience!!

I just bought a parody that ended up skipping so my boyfriend went to go return it only for them to say he had to exchange it at that exact moment, and they would not give him store credit so he could wait for me and we could pick out a different one together like usual! Absolutely ridiculous. Now I have to hope he picked something that we will BOTH enjoy and instead of getting to pick one out together and have a fun experience we both feel let down. We certainly won't be back.

I went there to get a particular item and at the time there was a new guy there name HDUBAY along with the owner. The new guy got smart with me but I didn't say anything back. I did absolutely nothing but ask for a particular color and he says "there all the same "! But that's not the color I ask for. After he gave me what I ask for I checked out and left. this place is pretty awesome. The girl who helped me this morning was so helpful. I went in with a 50 dollar budget to get a toy and ended up getting the toy AND a book AND some massage oil for less than 40! I will be back this afternoon with my husband because they have a deal on dvds too. I would totally recommend this place!

Worst adult shop in South Carolina. I felt dirty just walking through the doors. I mean physically dirty... there was an inch of dust on most of the products, the plastic cases were yellowing and most of the clothing items were supposed to be bagged but instead were haphazardly hung and obviously groped a lot. I won't be back until the new, tall black guy is gone. He is cleaning booths every ten minutes and going into the theater with a flash light. Ridiculous. But he has his troll friends?big ugly fat guy with a gut. He can go in theqtr without wrist band. He can stand around in back all day long. Not for straight people at all! Went in with a male friend and he just got stared down by men the entire time! One even accosted us to enter the theater with him. It was disgusting. The guys weren't even polite about meeting you, they just stare and moan at you like a piece of meat! Then I went outside and there was a guy loitering& staring at my car. Super creepy!

Definately not the best are in charleston to be going ro a adult store and for damn sure not a place for any hospitality. Pretty brutal how i was treated me being 26 and suprisingly unrecognized this visit i was rudely turned out of the storw for no reason.
