Great place for a Philly cheese steak! They have a number of options so we ordered a French Dip and a special cheese steak that was chicken, bacon, ranch with pepper jack cheese. Highly recommend eating it there since the fries we ordered because limp because they were hot. We will have to go back to try more options.

I placed my order online got in a little earlier than the order pick up time. Kaden up front greeted me right away and was very nice and polite. He told me we're getting that order wrapped up now. I also heard him being very polite and respectful toward others while I was there too. Ordered carryout and food was ready when quoted. When I went in to pick up the food they made sure we had ketchup and the steak sauce before leaving. The food was delicious and well prepared.

I haven't been here for years. The Zephyr is my go-to, and it was just as good as I remembered. I'll definitely have to make a point to eat here more often.

Had a bad experience at the Metcalf location and wanted to try this location for a second chance. If you want some steak sprinkled on bread this is the place for you. Had the same issues at the Metcalf location. For a $17 combo, I won't be back. There's better cheesesteaks around for the price.

The Philly sandwich was good but the onion rings were a little different. Seemed like they had a mozzarella cheese stick breading on them instead of a traditional onion ring batter. Otherwise the customer service was great and the price was good.

My no onion and no cheese sandwich had, you guessed it onions and cheese. I double checked my online order, but since it was carryout, I didn't know until back at the office.

Today I found a little bit of Philly in Kansas. I had the Pennsylvania. I got it without onions, just personal preference. The bread was perfectly soft, and the meat was well seasoned. I would totally recommend this to my friends from Philly. The staff was very inviting and Isabella answered all my questions. Thank you.

Ordered takeout for a work meeting. Almost everything was tasty, missing a couple of sides and drinks. While there is loads of meat on the sandwiches it's a wee bit dry. Don't let this stop you from getting a great sandwich though!

I have tried a chicken sandwhich, the zephyr, and a veggie Sandwhich. They were all good! My son loves the cheesy-bacon fries.

Just got home after ordering veggie sandwiches with extra cheese to find literally no cheese on them. Just veggies and soggy bread. Honest mistake I'm sure but I don't want to drive back out there to get it remade.

Cashier and person on the fryer fantastic. Cook on the other hand didn't make my order the way I ordered it and had a nasty look on her face and seemed rude when I was putting my order in. Hopefully something can be done about this. Considering this to be my last visit might give it another go soon. We'll see.

I've been going to Chartroose since the 80's. They always serve a consistent product. Nice people too.

Put in an online order with their own website (not a food app) for pick up at 11:45 as I was in a hurry. When I showed up at 11:45, they had no idea who I was or what I ordered. They finally found the order I placed and started cooking it. Didn't take long to make so that was good, however the order was wrong. Definitely did not get what I paid for, I will not be back. Sorry, I cannot recommend this establishment. I should have stuck with Lenny's or Grinders as they are WAY better.

My grandma would bring us here when I was little, my most recent visit was filled with nostalgia but much less activity in the restaurant than I remember. I ordered carry out and I assume most people do now, but I love that they still have the arcade games!

Food is always fresh and tastes amazing. The fact that my daughter says their Ranch is her favorite speaks volumes

We have come here for years and the phillys have always been good. Fries are hot and the soda machine is always clean and pop seems fresh. They have great cookies as well. The food is always made to order and ohhhh is it worth the wait. They clean up well so dining in is our favorite way to enjoy a meal. We recommend this place if your in a mood for the best philly in the city.

Guy at front taking orders was great. Wanted to make sure all needs were met. Only complaint was that only had a few onion rings in container when got home. Usually have a lot. They were large though. Great food as usual and the best fries anywhere!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this location. Always consistent! The ladies that work there are so friendly and amazing. The food is delicious and juicy. The condiment bar is always fresh! No disappointments here! Nothing special. Pretty salty, which overpowered any other flavor. Couldn't taste/detect any onions or peppers. You can get something similar (or better) when Arby's has their occasional special philly cheesesteak featured. I ordered online for carry out and they didn't have the chips that were listed. What a great location with a family feel as soon as you walk in the door. The owner greets you with a smile and friendly vibe. Mama is even back there grillin up cheese steaks and they are delicious! Best I've had in long time and I'm from the east coast! I'll be back.

10/1/2022: The 87th Street Chartroose Caboose is a local place I like to go when I don't want the typical fast food drive thru fare. Tonight has made me never want to go back. I got home with my chicken zephyr and onion rings and found a big wad of what appears to be hair or ??? in my sandwich. I should have driven back over there and lodged a complaint and gotten a refund, but sadly I just threw it in the trash. Great food, they treat their door dashes well. My girl friend left her purse in the bathroom. We called and they put her purse behind the counter for us. When we went to pick it up 2 hours later everything was Still there! A+would recommend

The veggie was a joke . I asked when ordering if sandwich bread is toasted and the cashier said it was. It was so soggy I tried eating with a fork as it was falling apart . Wasn't what I expected at all. They could not care less how disappointed at the restraunt.

Was a bit worried when I pulled up at lunch this time and the parking lot was pretty full (work 10-15 mins away and only get an hour for lunch) but even with a line it was super quick getting food. They know how to handle the lunch rush no problem. Food was excellent as it always is. Don't make it often enough but always worth it when I do.

I just had one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. We walked into the restaurant to the front counter where three of the ladies that were working there were complaining and arguing over their manager not giving them their paychecks yet. This is the best Philly I've had in Kansas. That being said, the Philly I had (onions, green peppers, mushrooms) was very good. It was fixed and served exactly the way I would expect a Philly (sorry Cheese Whiz folks, but this sandwich is not for you), and the home-made fries were excellent.

The food is always good. But the last few times the booths are looking rough with cracks in seats and tonight the "available" tables were all dirty. Love everything I've tried so far - it is a great fast place for a hot lunch. For EV drivers, there is also a set of charging stations in the shopping center's parking lot. That adds an extra perk to all the businesses at this location.

I placed an ordered yesterday, 9 pork tenderloin sandwiches for a group of employees. They were tasting horrible. Not even Mc Donald's sell something so gross. I've been here twice before. First time I got their cheesesteak and it was sub par. Second time I try their concretes and was disappointed again. They didn't mix in the ingredients it was more like a big sundae. And the base vanilla ice cream wasn't that great itself. So my concrete was vanilla ice cream with peanut butter on it.

Sierra Mist in both fountains were out of syrup and when informed the first employee just looked away. I have eaten there many times and this was the worst experience I have had. The sandwich did not taste good, so bad the I could not even eat the sandwich. In addition one of the sandwiches was to be in a wrap and was not. Onion rings were under cooked. I do not know what happened but will be some time before I return.

Went today to the lenexa location and we were very disappointed in the quality and the service. I get consistent service at the metcalf location every time so will go there from now on. Fries were not cooked through. The milkshake was liquid and was flavored milk. Redemption is the inside of the zypher which was why the added star.

These are excellent cheesesteaks. The portions are huge. Fast service. The only negative is that for a sandwich, side, and drink you are looking at a couple Washingtons greater than a Hamilton. Despite that, I still visit regularly for one of the best cheesesteaks in town.

Very unhappy the food came out cold had to have them reheat the sandwich and tots were still ice cold inside instead of new tots they put it back in the fryer and burnt them the fireball sandwich was nothing but Redhot hot sauce and you couldn't taste the meat. This is the place to go for Phillies! Lots of different options for good quality steak sandwiches. They have some model trains in the restaurant that the kids love to see. They deliver now too!

Their cheese is super salty and the prices are high, 2 people is $30, can go to Arby's and get 2 French dips with curly fries an drink for lot cheaper, and they won't forget your au jus.

The philiy cheese steak sandwiches are wonderful. Small batch french fries are crisp and hot. The burgers are good quality meat and cooked with a nice house base that renders a very tasty burger.

Good Philly cheesesteaks. I suggest the Zephyr. A little pricey for the quality, and don't expect to carry it home (the bun will get too soggy), but for eating a quick lunch with a friend, it's a nice place to stop. (The food's a bit messy for a date.)

I dont personally eat here but times ive come in here to pick up orders for door dash, usually everyone handling food is wearing gloves. Not today theres a young hispanic boy handling food, scooping sauces, sticking his finger into the food without wearing gloves. I wouldnt eat here if my life depended on it. Not with this covid 19 going on he even handled customers money not washing his hands in between.

Told the waitress their soda machine wasn't working properly. No one came to fix it or even look at it. But they did lete get a soda from cooler. Other customers came in while I was there told them hey your soda machine isn't working. Still no one did anything to check it out. Sad.

Drinks were pure syrup and they noted they were having issues with machine at the time they were poured. They forgot an order of fries and the cookie that comes with the kids meal! Tenders were burnt and placed in container straight from grease, burned plastic! We don't live that far, less than 2 miles, by the time we picked up and came home, everything was a greasy soggy mess!
