We enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day brunch. The food was good and plentiful, the selection superb. And my 11 year old was more than happy to wait in the arcade!
Its a very dynamic place. Depending on the day and time you come, there could be a handful of people or dozens. Its a fantastic for a group of people to come hangout. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have icecream, pizzas, subs, salads, and other hot foods. When coming on weekends and evenings expect longer times on the food. As far as entertainment, they have mini golf, 2 separate drive in theaters, as well as other regular entertainment such as inflatables for kids, car shows, and many other t
Glad to see this place going strong. Used to visit all the time as a kid growing up in the '90s. We got a couple of burgers and some ice cream. The portions were large and the food was delicious. Price is reasonable and it's a fun atmosphere with much to do. Hopefully moving to Perry soon ?? and will be happy to be close by.
We stopped here after leaving Letchworth State Park, NY for some well needed nutrition. The location is absolutely amazing. There is a beautiful stage for bands with many tables and space for lawn chairs. There's a lovely little window for ordering ice cream outside. Once inside the main entrance, there is a wonderful counter for ordering food. To your left a nice dining area with a full condiment bar. To the right another dining area that contains it's own counter for ordering additional menu items, such a
We just got home from the "Farewell to Summer" Super Cruise at Silver Lake Drive-In today. A great show with lots of great cars and really nice weather. We definitely wanted to eat here after reading the good reviews, so we walked over to the Charcoal Corral for dinner around 3 PM. There were a few people in line ahead of us, so maybe a five minute wait to order. Not very busy at all at that time. We ordered a grilled chicken breast with sweet potato fries, a three-piece broasted chicken dinner with sweet p
The food is always good no matter what it is. The staff are very friendly and patient even when it is super busy. The drive-in is a nice addition to the area and there's a good area for parking to watch the movies. There is a second lot to park in if it gets very busy. They have an arcade, mini golf, gem mining, and car shows as well.
The largest piece of fish I have ever taken on. C.C. Is like stepping through a time warp. It is charming due to the vintage decor. I felt the nostalgia pour over me like warm maple syrup over some buttermilk flap jacks. With that said, the best thing I have eaten here is the seafood chowder. It is seasoned to perfection, creamy like a clam chowder; borders on spicy. It is fantastic. This is definitely a must if you ever visit.
A good american restaurant with mini golf free concerts arcade games. Perfect for the family
Okay if your looking for a cute little place to take your family while adventuring around the mountainous farmland this is the place. Driving through the mountains and all of sudden transported to the wild wild west. This place has everything! A drive in movie theater, pizza, ice cream, and a grille, arcade + mini golf!
It's great place, one stop for food and entertainment at this place. Food is good, so many ice cream flavors. Clean and well maintained place. Enough parking. Restrooms are clean, they have few seats outside, pets are allowed to sit outside.
The Charcoal Corral is a great place. One of the few last drive in movie theaters, it has an arcade and mini golf as well as a diner and ice cream parlor. It has everything you might want to do with your family for a night out. Not to mention all the special events they hold bring a nice variety of experiences. They have car shows on Thursday evenings, and we happened to be there on National Ice Cream Day and they made a 30 gallon Ice Cream Sunday and gave out free ice cream. It's a nice place. The only rea
Fantastic experience at Charcoal Corral with the Starpoint Senior Class after a long day of rafting. They were extremely accommodating, the service was top notch and the food was delicious! This is a must stop if you're in the area.
After a day at Letchworth State Park I was looking for gluten free options when I saw Suzea's was closed. I saw this place and the food was great. Asking for gluten free was easy and I had no reaction. We also got dope whips because why not? Would recommend and will probably go back again.
Been coming here for 30+ years. Always a pleasure to dine here. Great food and fast, courteous counter staff. The only challenge -- saving room for ice cream after your meal!!
What a great place to spend the afternoon with kids or without! The mini golf course is clean and well maintained. There are tons of food options so you can find something for everyone. Located next door to the drive in theater come early park the car get a meal and watch the movies at the end of the day.
If you're in the area, you probably already know about the Charcoal Corral. Movies, games, entertainment, and even the random summer concert. This place has it all. For food, expect everything to be deeply fried. Don't come here to count calories.
Had a good time here playing mini golf and doing the mining sluice! Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean despite how busy it was! Lots of varieties of food and ice cream, the arcade was fun, and the drive in movie space looked really nice though I didn't watch a movie there, just poked my head in briefly to check it out. Not great seating options for larger parties, unless the fiesta room is open. And the food is decent but not great, especially for the price. Not great vegetar
For somewhere with so much on their menu I expected that lack of specialization to impact how good the food tastes, but I was very surprised. I got their weekly special, the Taco Salad, and it was very good. Their steak fries were incredible though, definitely give those a try.
This is one of the coolest places to visit and have fun! Very well maintained and they have it all! Two outdoor movie screens, mini golf, pizza and wings, subs and sandwiches, an ice cream parlor, car shows, outdoor entertainment, game arcade, indoor and outdoor dining, and more!! We have taken our kids there and now the grand kids! Close to Letchworth Park and Silver Lake! Quite the memory maker!!
Upbeat, cheerful and fun. Watch out for the uneven floors. Service and food was good. There is a mini golf course and a drive in theater on site.
Wow talk about coming across a place purely by chance! I was visiting my family who were renting a nearby Air BNB, and my brother suggested Charcoal Corral. We knew nothing about it...turns out it's one of the most interesting places in Western NY! I absolutely love the Southwest after having lived there for 3 yrs, so when I saw the Saguaros, John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, all the pictures and such, I was all in!! There's a BBQ restaurant, pizzeria, ice cream parlor, mini golf, and one of the last drive ins
Just one of my favorite places to go. Good food and you get it quick then putt putt and a movie is a solid night out for a family
Nice restaurant, good service, I had the cowboy burger and steak Fries and they hit the spot plus played a round of miniature golf
One of our favorite places to go in Perry, NY. Has a drive- in movie theater and mini golf course. Perfect for the whole family.
Loved the arcade cuz only one where still used tokens /tickets . went all the time went this year they switched to cards i won't go back it's no fun with cards
My husband and I were staying nearby. We had the opportunity to eat dinner there on Italian night. It was a buffet with made to order pasta dishes that offered a variety of sauces. The food was very good and the staff was attentive and friendly. We also ate in the main restaurant for lunch another day. The burgers were delicious and cooked to perfection. There is also miniature golf on sight. It's well kept and one of the best I have been to in a while.
Great food, lots of entertainment for everyone. Wonderful place to bring your family. The 18 hole mini golf is a lot of fun for everyone!
This is my new favorite establishment, we drove an hour and 30 minutes to get here from advice from a friend and have never been more thankful, this place is an established well oiled machine. From the staff that was just wonderful, to the awesome decorations and designs, to the floors you could literally eat off, to the options gluten free and non. You seriously cannot ask for more then charcoal corral. It will now be our go to for a family fun day. We as a family are so grateful to have this place!!
Such a cute place to go. Something fun for everyone. Miniature golf, music during the summer, car shows certain days during the summer, ice cream shop, pizzeria, arcade for kids, and much more!
One of our favorite places to go for a fun drive, good food and great car shows. Wonderful customer service!
We came here for a round of mini golf, which was very reasonably priced! Very well maintained 18 hole course, which was challenging enough, but not too much. We did not eat anything here, but they have plenty of food and ice cream options.
Neat place! Has a little bit of everything including pizza, ice cream, BBQ, subs, putt putt gold and a drive in movie theater all in one stop. They have a large menu, I just named a few. CASH ONLY!! They do have an ATM, which charges $1, but your bank charges you a fee too. Putt putt is $6 a person.
Food is average / basic, but the atmosphere and everything about the place is great. I'd come here more often if I lived near by.
Food was good, the atmosphere and service was great. They had a concert and the guy was an Elvis impersonator.... What else can you ask for
Got multiple food items. We were the only order at this point, it took them well over 30 minutes to get our food to us. When we got our food the fries and hotdogs were cold, the potato skins rubbery and tasteless. On a good note we also got 2 slices of pizza which were delicious. Flavorful, crispy pepperoni, and served HOT!! Best pizza ever.
Went in to pick up some ice cream for a couple of people, two girls behind the counter kept rushing me, even when I asked for a minute to look at the options & offered for them to help the people who were ready. Ended up just leaving.
When I say this place is amazing, it's a true understatement to how efficient this compound is ran. The staff is on top of cleanliness and service is to the T! Owner personally shook my hand and introduced himself. Drive in, arcade, mini golf, mining game, 2 restaurants, and an ice cream parlor in one. After our food, which was fresh off the grill and delicious - we played mini golf! It was so much fun! Looking for something to do in the perry / Letchworth park area - look NO FURTHER! THIS IS A MUST VISIT!
Quaint hometown americana worth the drive for sure pizza ice cream burgers mini golf drive in ...old time usa
Such a great place that it's become so popular it's hard to want to go there now. Lots of people, long lines. Best to only go during non-dinner time hours. Same goes for the drive-in. It's so packed on weekends that you are forced to go when gates open at 6, otherwise you are in back rows. Long commitment to go watch a movie at night.
You will feel like you've stepped back in time. Wonderful mini golf course, tons of food options including a grill, pizza place and ice cream stand. There is also planning for "gemstones" and an arcade, not to mention of course the drive-in.
Went to play mini golf and see a movie! The prices were very reasonable and the place had a lot to offer for a variety of ages. Mini golf was actually kind of challenging and a lot of fun. Got ice cream that was delicious. Saw a movie in the drive inn and it was okay. It was hard to hear on the speakers. Popcorn wasn't made fresh. Staff overall I would say were great! I'd highly recommend going and spending a day or evening here it's a lot of fun!
We love to take visiting family members of all ages here for fun food, mini golf, gem panning, and sometimes the drive-in movie. Everything is well-maintained, spic and span, and the staff go out of their way to ensure everyone is having fun.
Cute, kitschy place. Others have commented on the great prices for food and ice cream. We didn't find this to be the case. The prices are the same as you can expect to pay at the now pricey fast food places. Two very small ice cream sundaes were a little less than $10. The place is clean and unique. Fun environment. We had planned to play putt putt but ran out of time. The course looked nice, but I don't know the cost. We didn't go to the double feature movies since we were on motorcycles, but they we
I never knew so much.Happiness could be in one place period so many happy things for kids to do and joyful hopping up and downings
It's like it's always been. It's so much fun for everyone. We came on a Saturday to enjoy the inflatables and activities on the stage and the kids had so much fun. The pizza is fantastic and I haven't had that good of chicken wings in so so long, meaty and saucy. I highly recommend making a night out of it and going to the drive inn as well. Will be coming back for years to come.
After visiting a few times this summer and getting chicken or pulled pork, this time, we decided to try ordering one of their pizzas. I have to say it was REALLY good. Fresh, hot, and tasty. When I went to pick up our 14" pizza and 2 drinks, I couldn't carry all three to my table. I told the young lady behind the counter I would be back for the last drink. As I headed back to pick it up, the manager met me halfway with the drink. I was very appreciative of his attention to his customers. Kudos to all
One of my all time favorite places. Great family friendly place. Best drive in around. Always clean. Rules enforced politely. Amazing food. One of my favorite mini golf places. Always a great time!!
There are 4 parts to the reastraunt. Dining room, done in a western Motief Walkup counter, pizza counter, and Icecream stand.
Skip it. I know it has everything and it USED to be great, but save yourself the trouble. The workers are rude, I had someone yell at me about a restricted room when I was only going to the arcade room to cash in tickets, which you have to go to the ice cream parlor just to get someone to come to the arcade, the will not do any substitutes or specials even if there's only 4 other people there. Either go in the middle of the season (may-august) or save your money and go to Dave and Busters for a smoother, ni
Seen toy story 4 and Aladdin best birthday ever. My sons alex & abel and hubby aaron. Best time great food great prices. Will always go to drive in
Nice place with several different options and plenty of space to sit all under one roof.
Probably the best place in the area to hang out, especially if you are visiting the nearby state park. They've got food, an arcade, mini golf, and a drive in movie theater all in one place making it a great way to spend an evening. The food is well prepared though usually pretty greasy (but in a way that also makes it great) and they get it out to you pretty quickly.
3 tiny chicken fingers (not a meal, so this is the price for just the chicken) $10! Please tell me how this makes sense when the kids meal is $7 something. Please add the amount of chicken fingers on the menu.
I have been coming here since I was a kid and have always loved it. Now I bring my son here and he loves it too. He says it's one of the few places that he never gets bored and it is in our top 3 favorite places to go ever (discussed over ice cream).
Really fun place! Lots to do! Wings were good. Pizza was ok but didn't care for the sausage....but I'm also a very picky pizza person. Great staff! Did miniature golf which was fun! Then had ice cream great prices and sizes!
Big menu with lots to choose from. Seating area was clean and the service was great.
The food is amazing and the people are very polite it's a very awesome place to eat at
I'm 11 now and my dad has been taking me here since I was young, and yet I still never get bored! I mean what more could you ask for here?! Good food, a putt-putt course, fast service, good decorations, ice cream, an arcade, and a stage outside for movies and others!!! This place is a miracle to me and my dad, if you haven't been here YOU NEED TO TRY IT!!! And no matter how old I get there is a big chance I'll still go here.
Local tourist trap low quality food at crazy prices nice place if you can afford it!! Owner's care about profits over customers and employees. But hey when all u employ is local high school kids what do u expect? Them to care about service...HIGHLY UNLIKELY!!!!! Can't even make same ice cream twice ?? Stay away you will leave broke and unhappy !!!!!
What a cool place. There's great food, miniature golf, games, and more. Our group of 8 people, ages 7 to 63, all had a wonderful time.
Usually their food is good but this burger was way too undercooked.
I really love coming here....usually. I love to play mini-golf then eat. However the last few times I've noticed the food counter staff is a bit snippy and less friendly. My beef on weck was not very desirable (hardly any meat) and very dry. Why no au jus? It really needs it! The hot dogs were tasty and the ice-cream shop was excellent!
Got pizza & wings, Chicken bacon ranch. Thought it was a little pricey but was pretty good . This place is always hopping though. Like a bee hive people coming & going like crazy, very neat atmosphere with western motifs & mini golf course & twin Drive-in theaters out back, all sorts of food options along with ice cream shop in one location. We will be back!
The food is decent. Its not special, basically fast food quality. Its a family friendly, chaotic, noisy dining area. Its decent though. Exceptionally clean, employees are always busy. The drive-in great, mini golf is great.
What a really cool place they've got a variety of food and putt putt drive in movie awesome Time
Best onion rings ever. Pizza is also solid.
We go there with family a few times a year. They have great food, games for kids to play and mini golf. They have a great selection of ice cream and drive inn. Great for car shows and other activities they host there.
We live in WA State but are in NYS about once a year. This time we stopped twice! Such great food and atmosphere. Plus we had my mom's memorial lunch in the back fiesta room. We have about 37 people. Everything was excellent. Thanks Keith and Winston!!
Great ice cream selections. Friendly atmosphere. Food is definitely worth going out of your way. Beef is a specialty of theirs so sorry for my vegetarian readers. Beef on Weck tastes fresh. Tuesdays are BBQ nights Wednesdays are Italian and dont forget cruise nights with all of the classic cars. Priced right for what you get but a family is going to spend some money when here.
The Charcoal Corral is a gem. Great food (a bit pricey) and great atmosphere. A staple of this community as a place to go with friends, to connect, and to enjoy summer! People come from afar to enjoy the Corral!
This ia a great place for a family night out. Drive in theater, minigolf, icecream & ither food. 100% recommend!
The baby back ribs special is my favorite meal and the free concerts on Tuesday evenings are always a treat. The twin drive in theater is the cleanest I've ever seen! Charcoal Corral is one of the best run businesses we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
Super fun spot. Mini golf is affordable and fun. Delicious food including vegetarian options and delicious ice cream. Family friendly with different events each day of the week
We are giving it a 1 star. We usually enjoy going here but the service lately has gone down hill. There has been several recent times we have gone and the Ice cream parlor has been the worst. Very unorganized under extreme traffic as well as when there is no one there but one customer. Our recent trip today 8/25/24 the place closed at 10 pm. We stopped at about 9:30 pm coming home from a long day at the state fair. We decided to choose getting ice cream like we always do here. We walked in 2 girls were wor
Listen the place is cute and clean my son's chicken fingers and fry where great husband pulled pork sandwich also good. But my Beef on wick was nasty 2 pieces of meat and glue like gravy on it. Bread not toasted so it was just soggy.
The food was very good. However for the Price there just wasn't enough choices. Also I think you shouldn't charge adult Price for a 11 year old it was a total waste of money in our situation. Maybe change the kid pricing to 12 and under for the Wednesday pasta night.
Love this place especially for families. They have so much for the kids to do a s food is decent, the Fishfry was delicious ?? but the kids grilled cheese and Mac n cheese could be better, grilled cheese was a little plain and dry and Mac n cheese tastes out of a box and dry. Otherwise it was great.
Awesome drive in /restaurant /mini golf / arcade ! Very well maintained with a lot of parking.
Great park for walks and enjoying especially fall colors!
A Fun & Friendly place to get Good Food ?????? and Ice cream ?? reasonably priced. Nice Miniature Golf ? w/ A Double Screen Drive In. We Go All Summer ?? Long. Thank You So Much ??????
We only played mini golf and had some ice cream but it was fun. Definitely geared towards families and children with all the bright, busy decor.
Delicious food and excellent customer service. Everything in one place; food, ice cream, arcade games, mini-golf, and drive-in theater. Highly recommended.
Who would have thought? I have driven by for years and finally stopped. Immaculate facility. Many good food choices and kids activities. There is sit down restaurant hidden in back or fast food in front. Prime rib to hotdogs.
It is my favorite place! I have been coming here for a long time and hBe many great memories!
Always love it here! They have amazing food and great thins to do. Mini golf course is gorgeous and we love the last hole! The drive-in is always fun. My kids love the arcade and they went to an awesome auto show too! We just moved here, so it'll be wonderful to have this place so close!
Taco could it taste a lot better than what they did.
I've gone to Charcoal Corral almost every summer since I was a kid! I love how you can spend a whole evening there. You park in the drive-in theater, go have dinner, maybe play some mini golf or hit up the arcade, and come back around to the theater to watch the movie once the sun goes down! I love to go there at least once every season.
Rick?s the owner he's amazing, the food was amazing with mild wings and pizza, the arcade was a lot of fun gambling all my Money was surprisingly cheap and easy. Overall great experience. (I love you Ricky)
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
