Excellent selection of classics, some have a few issues. I saw 2 that were down. 1 had a bad joystick but really for how old these machines are they have done a good job keeping them running. A few have LCD screens which is unfortunate but understandable. Nevertheless if you are a classic arcade game lover you owe it to yourself to stop by to play! If I was local I would visit often. I've added pics of a few machines that caught my eye.
I recently had the chance to visit Channel 3 Retro Arcade, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! After my visit to a local thrift store, I accidentally got on the wrong bus and ended up exploring an older area of Lakewood. Instead of getting frustrated, I decided to embrace the adventure and see where it would take me. After a couple of miles, I stumbled upon Channel 3, and I must say, it felt like stepping back in time! As someone who grew up in the arcade era, this place brought back so man
I found a Groupon offer for this place when I was trying to find something to keep my teens entertained while visiting Denver. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but the guy at the front desk was welcoming and my kids enjoyed so many of the arcade and console games. I loved the nostalgia of some of the older games like Duck Hunt on Super Mario Bros and the requisite PacMan and Q*Bert. We stayed for sooo long and it was a great way to spend a rather rainy day. It wasn't very busy on a Friday afternoon,
The guy that owns it is a solid dude. We were there after closing and I apologized and he said ?oh I don't kick people out if they're having fun?. Later I asked how he affords the place to be 15$ all day and he said ?people are struggling and I just want families to have a place to go to have fun?. I got to live out my dream and beat metal slug. This place is a true gem.
Great selection of retro arcade games, consoles, and most importantly a few very well taken care of/excellent playing pinball machines including a rotation of some of the new Stern Insider Connected games with a live leaderboard monitor in-house. Comfortable and cozy atmosphere with good hours, snacks and drinks. Give them a try!
Amazing and fun experience playing all of these retro games! The grass jelly and honey drink is a pretty good price for its taste! Definitely recommend!
I took my husband and we had so much fun reliving our childhood!! We're in our mid thirties and we had an absolute blast! They have arcade games, TV's set up with different consoles and hundreds of games to choose from! The host, Tony, was helpful, kind, and informative. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!!!
We've been going here for a few years and I can't say enough great things about it. It's clean, and fun. The owner is always super nice and helpful.
Lots of games. They kept 3 10 year old Adhd boys content for 2 hours. Reasonably priced. Fun for adults and childre.
Old school vibe with a great mix of old school arcade games, new school games, and lots in between.
Fun place and I loved that they have old gaming consoles!
This was a fun place to go as a family. We have kids 7, 9 and 15 and they all had fun. We were there for several hours without even realizing it! All the machines worked and there were tons of consoles and games available to choose from (I think they said have 130?). The set up felt clean but nostalgic. I would recommend for anyone. It's a great option to get out of the cold during the winter to get out of the summer heat.
Several games were broken. Great little place. Had fun but wish all the games were working. There were a few unwanted to play and couldn't.
Super fun place, very reasonable price ($5 srudents) for unlimited play, and my son had a super fun birthday party here. Great management, and everything here is for sale too, even the old school arcade games!! Because of this, they get new games, so it's not just the same games each time.
What a gem! Top notch snacks and n/a bevs to enjoy while playing the largest selection of games I have ever seen. We will definitely be back, and you gotta check this place out!
What a find, super fun and super affordable for the whole family! Such a nice change from the super overpriced arcades that exist as common place now.
This place is AWESOME!!! Every vintage arcade game u can think of, and it's really cheap for the whole family....you pay per person, for the whole day....not per game. Really awesome for kids and adults....groupon has an awesome deal for here as well....my kids love fort night, and this is the only arcade I've found that has it for the kids. They also have all the vintage video gaming systems, which you can play, and/or purchase the systems, as well as any older video game you can think of.....and they have
I really, really love this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they have a huge number of games. We had my son's birthday party here and everyone, from a two year old to a sixty year old, had a great time. Being able to come in and play as many games as you want with a flat charge for the whole day is such a great way to experience all of the games on offer. We will be back on a regular basis going forward!
Pretty cool little place, for an entry fee, you can play all day!
This place has every console many many videos games, and awesome arcade games. $15 dollars to play all of them all day.
Great time! So many great games to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The kids 9 & 10 love it; the grown ups loved it even more! ????
I had wandered into Channel 3 while I waited for my car to be serviced down the street. Great game selection and beautifully maintained arcade cabinets. Definitely has that old-school arcade vibe. They do discounts on all-you-can-play arcade games on Wednesdays.
We had my son?s birthday party here and the owner was so great to work with. He had set up a nice table and hang out area in the back courtyard and the boys all had so much fun playing the games. We really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend for parties!
Have been curious about this place for quite sometime. Finally went in on 3/17/24 after some lunch at Wendy's across the street. The majority of games are free to play with a $12 admission fee. I love how there's old and new games. They also have snacks as well!
Wow, what a great experience... super.safe for kids and families. And a very fair price. We are from out of town and needed to kill a couple hours between kids hockey games. We will definitely be back.
We held a private party here for my son's birthday and I would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone! A private party here costs less than a party at a trampoline park and there are no minimum/maximum number of guests required. There are so many games and consoles; anyone, at any age and experience level will be able to find something to play! Our youngest played Mario Party on the Switch while the older kids tried out the vintage cabinet games and played their favorites together on the modern consoles, to
Excellent selection of games and you can book a party area.
Got a great deal for this place off of Groupon. Took my kids (both under 12) and all of us had a great time. I enjoyed the old school arcade games while my kids enjoyed playing all the different consoles. Definitely a great place to burn a couple hours and feel like you're a kid again ??
Update:I love this place! Super chill place to go game. I love the consoles and classic games. The people that work there are really nice and super helpful. Met some really cool people in there last time too. Great for meeting people and getting out of your house . The selection of games and consoles is great. They have the games listed out too so you can see them all which is really nice. Cool locally owned place that we need to support. Sooooooo fun! What a fun cool place! Had all the old video games I u
Awesome place! I grew up a gamer starting with Atari, and now my son is growing up a gamer, and sharing his excitement to play the retro history of my childhood made me feel so happy. The only criticism I have is I wish it was bigger, and had more games.
My son and his friends had a blast. Celebrating my sins 13th birthday. Great place for kids to hang out. Good positive fun. Retro game, play all day with 7 teenage boys. The clerk was very nice and welcoming. Thank you. Keep up the great work.
Super fun arcade! Flat fee was $12 a person and we could play everything except the pinball machines. A great selection and variety of arcade machines are available and when you've had your fill, they have lots of console games to play! There are candy, snacks, and drinks sold at the front as well. We had a fantastic time, 5/5 would recommend!
This place is the freaking best! Family fun for an unbeatable price. Pinball machines are always maintained and they've got damn near every game you can think of for all the consoles.
I have an immense appreciation for this establishment, and I'm truly delighted to see them operational once more. The wide array of entertaining arcade games and diverse range of consoles available here bring an abundance of joy. The staff's helpful demeanor further enhances the overall experience.
This is cute little arcade that's great for families. They don't blast their music too loudly. It's not super big, but they have a nice selection of cabinet games. The guys running the place are incredibly kind and really helpful, and they really work to make your experience enjoyable. If you have kiddos with special needs this would be a great place to take them, as it's not too overwhelming. They have a great candy and snack selection that's really greatly priced too!
My girlfriend and I had a Groupon so we found a great spot to eat before coming in and playing all the games for a couple hours, such a perfect way to spend our Saturday together! All of our favorite classic arcade games like pacman, Galaga, street fighter, tetris donkey Kong, ghouls and ghosts, tee time.....also console games are available!!! Super good deal and you can go in and out all day!! Definitely doing this again
Great little retro game spot! Not a ton of stand up arcades, but the ones they do have are most of the great classics. They have tons of game console options, both retro and modern. Friendly service, low prices, and overall great 80s vibe. Will definitely go again.
Great arcade, lots of options for classic gaming and console gaming.
Channel 3 is a must for any retro gamers. Great selection of old stand up arcades and loads of retro console games and current games like Smash Bros. Great guys that run this place. Matt is the BEST. Always a great time and new cabinets get added often. Always clean too. Check this place out for a time warp escape!!!
We had a great time, nostalgic experience in a great, clean, fun environment. Value was amazing. Owner Matt was pleasant. The games are endless.
Really nice spot for arcade, super affordable, THOUSANDS of games, and 100% worth it!
I went today and it was awesome! From the very first moment you step through the door you can tell the owner loves retro gaming. Definitely worth the price, and hey.. I finally beat the Simpsons arcade game!!
We love this place! The staff is wonderful and welcoming. Games are clean and well-maintained. They have an amazing selection of arcade games and consoles. We had our son?s birthday party here and everyone had a blast. Thanks guys!
This is a really awesome spot. Pay one reasonable entry fee and you can play everything as long as you want...no quarters or additional payments. The arcade games are classic and you can also play tons of newer (and older) console games. Highly recommended.
I love this place! The staff was very helpful, and the games were a lot of fun! It's hard to find places that have the older arcade games, but this one has a lot of them! As well as having retro games, you could play on more modern consoles on whatever game you wanted. They had some light snacks and drinks available to purchase as well, quite nice!
CH3 is a really fun arcade for all ages. The games are awesome and they have a variety of snacks, sodas and candies for sale at the front counter. An enjoyable experience as the place is always clean and tidy - You won't be disappointed!
Such a great spot! I went with my kiddo and their friend (ages 8 and 9), neither of whom are well-versed in arcade or video games, and the guy working definitely went above and beyond to teach them some skills! Really cool place.
Our office rented out this location for an office party. The team there was super friendly and accommodating. We really appreciate them being available for us. Everyone had a fun time. Thank you! James (Valor Roof and Solar)
Brought my nephew and a few of his friend here for his birthday. They had a blast. The place is a bit dingy but what good arcade isn't. Not a huge selection of cabinets but just enough for a full afternoon of entertainment. Couldn't beat the price either.
There are no negatives to coming here. You literally pay $5 (if you Groupon) to $7 to come and go as you please, and play unlimited classic games. There are also console and even a few board games. One of the two owners was working, and he was very accommodating, especially considering we had a 4 and 5 year old with us who were both high energy/high strung. The game selection seemed pretty widr for a small space. I will definitely be back again.
This place is Paradise for gamers of all ages and all platforms. Wether you like coming in and dishing out some fatalities on mortal Kombat, or jump over some barrels with donkey Kong, or play the newer console games, this is your One-Stop shop. Extremely friendly staff across the board. Very personable and willing to talk about the games with you. Across the whole team I believe they are extremely knowledgeable in possibly all gaming. Their deals are great, I definitely am now going to be a regular so I
Had my 11 year old twins' birthday party here with a few friends... Was absolutely amazing! Great for the price ($7 for kids, $10 adults) for unlimited all -night play! Find them on FB or IG. Grab a points card for buy one get one entry.
Great Service, People are friendly. Tons of classic arcade games. Has plenty of Vintage and Modern Consoles. Overall a great time.
$15 per person, not that much selection of games, tiny place. Not worth it honestly.
I almost did not stop. When you pull up it's in an abandoned very run down shopping mall strip?.. but when we went inside and they said it was a flat rate fee to play all you wanted I was sold. It really was worth the risk of how sketchy it looked.
Went to a Smash Bros event here and loved everything about the place. Cool selection of retro arcade machines, staff is super friendly, and just a chill place. Highly recommend
Great local neighborhood arcade. Console options are a strong draw with multiple systems and game choices. Great price for all day access. They have about 30 standup units with a good selection and responsive contrils. And best of all is the staff - they are super Kool - ask them for help and they are right there with you.
Great place with a ton of games!
This nondescript arcade is a fantastic spot for all ages. There are modern gaming stations and a slew of classic arcade games like Qbert, Mario, Xmen, and a whole bunch of other games I'm not cool enough to remember or know how to play. That flat admission fee is more than reasonable and you can leave and come back.
We found this little gem while visiting family. What a cool business! Great prices and something for everyone. A whole lot of nostalgia in that place, thanks for everything!
We went in for a party and the people at channel 3 went above and beyond to make our time there perfect. They helped us order food, went and picked it up for us (what?!), and were very kind and helpful. Also, $7 for unlimited play? That is a screamin? deal. Do yourself a favor and go play Galaga and Karate Champ to your hearts content while supporting a local business.
Great place for nostalgia and teach your kids what video games were like when we were growing up.
I like that you pay an admission and then it's just free play after that. My son thinks this place is "Heaven on earth!" They do private party renting of the place, snacks, food, candy. You can buy gaming materials here as well as sell your old stuff! I'm stoked, I come all the way from Englewood to chill here, and it's so worth it! Thanks Channel 3 Retro Gaming!
This is the best arcade in town. You cannot beat the price or the sheer variety of games - both vintage arcade and the classic video games. There is a true retro vibe that makes for a real good time. Highly recommend going to Channel 3.
Fun retro arcade! Tons of nostalgic games. Any system youd like to play, they might have on hand. Wanna buy something? Most anything in there is for sale. Owners are super chill as well. I appreciate being able to bring my kids in for games, and not be surrounded by a ton of drunk Chad bros like at 1up. Although i wouldnt be opposed to them hosting an adult night.
Glad you guys are still making it happen!! Letting me have pizza delivery and buying drinks from you for like a buck - it's definitely the coolest arcade for the locals they have no idea have good they have it - thanks for everything
Our family is n3rd central and we had a blast at Channel 3. The staff is cool and their selection is outstanding. We got bragging rights for beating Michael Jackson's Moonwalker in about 20 min. Love Channel 3
Amazing place! Awesome helpful friendly staff! Really great environment! Nothing else like it would recommend to anyone who enjoys video games as a whole to check out this gem!
My four-year-old kid loves this place. It's a great way to keep yourself occupied when the weather is cruddy. The games rotate in and out periodically so there might be some new stuff each time you visit. Pay once and play all the games all day.
Super fun place, they have plenty of old school cabinets along with consoles new and old with plenty of games to choose from. Definately a fun place to spend some time
Took my boys here, they had a blast playing on games I played as a kid! Great place, highly recommend! Clean, not super loud.
We got entry via Groupon and went with a group, kids and adults... the owner runs the joint and made sure we were all well informed and taken care of! Fun for all ages.... convenience of a liquor store nearby
Awesome sauce. Old school arcade without the quarters. They have a console gaming room too. Cheep fun for the whole family no tickets and normal priced candy. Mortal combat. Simpsons. Golden axe, smash tv Mario brothers and centipede. They are open late too. Win win. Win
Love this place! ?? super clean and comfortable with all the games I love and want to play!
I so love this place! Unlimited gaming for one really cheap price! I spend at least 2hrs here every week playing until my fingers hurt, my shoulders hurt and my eyes are bugging! Highly recommended! ??
super fun! we were the for a birthday party. what a great idea!
If you're looking for an old school arcade to bring your kids to, this is the place. It's a flat rate to play all day and they have everything your genx heart desires =)
We attended an 8 y.o. bday party. It was great, all the kids and dads had fun. I liked it too.
Small place with lots of retro games. Definitely good fun for your inner 80s, 90s child and your actual child. Also has drinks and snacks available. Would describe it as a dive arcade.
Fun cool place. We're from out of town. the staff was nice and the unlimited gameplay plus the option to leave and come back later in the day is great.
Great place to play games with friends. Though it is out of the way, it is a gem. You can also bring in your own console and games to play. They have a wide range of games. Will come back again soon.
Cool joint. Really good staff and fun old arcade favorites from my youth. Love the nostalgia and all the games worked and well maintained.
So much fun! Old school arcade plus consoles old and new. Fun for the whole family or group of friends or birthday party... For a great price!!!
We had a party here and it was amazing. Matt the owner is the best and the kids absolutely loved it. Great games and great atmosphere.
Fun place to take the kids, would be nice if pinball was included and great if there was beer. We enjoyed it and will be back.
Hands down the best arcade in Colorado must go, if you are a true gamer at heart why are you not here. 100% will become a regular great staff and helpful people must stop in!
My kids had a great time playing all the retro games and being able to pick through the catalog of new games... Great staff made us feel very welcome... Snacks, soda, and video games!!!
It's definitely a place for a family to have fun. Both kids and parents would enjoy it.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
