Nice food selection for a bar. Fast service, even with just 3-4 people working they were handling the crowd well. 2 nice adequate restrooms. Drinks strong, didn't like the heavy salt on the Paloma-should have ordered it without. Rum Punch and Espresso drink good. -okra portion size is too small. Too much salt on them. Great fresh cook just give more and use less salt. -Brussels are too oily and buttery-you can see the butter heavy. Good portion just too much butter. -Brisket Taco-Great value and I loved

Every neighborhood needs a Chairs! This place is a vibe! If you're coming for bar food you won't be disappointed. If you're coming for an experience, you will be amazed! Highly recommend Sunday night jazz to experience the best of what Chairs has to offer.

The food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was laid back, mature, and live jazz session. The service was sub-par. Not attentive. Drinks were sparce. Not a good selection of cognacs; only Martell. I'm coming back on Sundays.

My friend, cousin and I went here on NYE. This is such a cool spot. Old school hip hip playing, food and drinks were so good. One thing about Atlanta restaurants, they serve your food while it's still so hot and I appreciate it so much.

Great smoked wings and chicken tenders it was after a concert so service was slow but great vibe and food. Also it's upstairs so it's steps I also so a few pool tables and outdoor seating

Good spot for a late night or afternoon. Good priced menu and pretty quick service. Drinks are on point and the staff is friendly. There's some free parking a short walk away. I'll definitely be returning.

This is a local spot, that offers billiards, trivia night and live bands. Trivia is so fun with Kensy!! The music selections where great, everyone sings-a-long. Friendly & knowledgeable Bar & Wait staff.

Such a good dive bar. They had jazz night tonight and it was so chill. Plenty of people but not too crowded. Food was absolutely delicious. I live locally so I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. The drinks were very good. Jessica was great!

Chairs is hands down my favorite spot in the city. It's the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at ease and completely relaxed. The vibe at Chairs is incredibly chill, creating a perfect atmosphere to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that embraces you like a comforting hug. The soothing music playing in the background sets the tone for a laid-back and peaceful experience. It's the kind of place

We came here around 8:30p on a Sunday to enjoy the live band, a cocktail and a bite to eat. It is a "sit where you please" type of establishment, but there were few open tables considering the crowd... and the tables that were opened were not clean. After standing for about 10 minutes, we decided to sit at a dirty table. We sat at the table for about 20 more minutes before a young man whisked by, picked up the trash from the prior guest and committed to coming back. After another 20 minutes of waiting, w

Typical late night bar with food. I've been here many times. Servers are always friendly, but service is hard to rate as there's barely any after you get your food. On occasion, someone would check on you, but this is more of the exception than the rule. Something entertaining is usually going on here, whether it's trivia, karaoke, or music bingo. Very laid back. Food is totally unhealthy, but it's flavorful. Never disappointed.

Everything was fantastic! I ordered the Old Fashioned cocktail, and it was absolutely delightful. They also have arcades and pool tables upstairs for entertainment. However, I'm not sure if it's wheelchair accessible as I didn't spot an elevator.

We went to this spot after a concert. The food was great. The service was awesome. The atmosphere was laid back. Just the way I like it. And the drinks are not watered down. Great spot to visit.

Such an interesting little bar. We decided to check it out and have never been made to feel more welcome and taken so well care of!!! Bar tender and chef were both incredible people who clearly enjoy what they do!!! Everyone should come check this place out and I will definitely be raving to everyone I know!!! Absolutely 0 complaints and couldn't make it better if I tried, all around

This is definitely a different type of bar. The people are friendly, the drinks are great, and the decor is interesting. There are a few pool tables and video games sure to bring back nostalgia. The food was decent and didn't take long. There is a big parking lot within walking distance along with street parking.

They deserve to be on somebody?s list The food is extra tasty frfrfr - the service was what you expect in Atlanta a bit ratchet but least had a bit of heart. I'd come back ; great for after work or meeting friends for a drink & pool ? diverse for sure.

We went here on a Saturday night around eight. It wasn't that crowded but around ten it was packed. They have pool tables and good music playing. I gave 4 stars on service bc when it got crowded it was hard getting the waiter to come by. The was good for bar food and the drinks were on point. The only downside was you have to walk up a lot of stairs to get to the bar/ lounge.

Perfect neighborhood spot. The food is honestly really good. Far exceeds my usual dive bar food expectations. Good music, trivia and karaoke nights, and good vibes all around.

The vibe of this place is awesome. My BF & I stumbled upon it whole in the area and we had no idea it was Sunday Jazz Night. The music was amazing, they were swapping out band members and playing some great tunes. Definitely a cozy but casual place. We ordered a few beers and my BF had the McChair Burger (it's a double patty) and I had the order of Chicken Tenders (next time I'll try the brisket sandwich). We really enjoyed our visit and will be back to catch more jazz music and bites!

Used to go here waaaay back when it was the corner tavern but just started frequenting again since discovering they have live music Sunday evenings. Though it's a jazz jam, the band plays a great variety with some of the drop ins. The food is surprisingly good for a bar. Brisket nachos were my go to but I discovered their salads and roasted brussel sprouts recently ?? so there's something for everybody. Cocktails are appropriately strong for a late night spot, bartenders and servers are friendly plus free p

This place was so chill! It is a bar with pool tables. It feels and sounds like a bar with pool tables. The food was excellent (always a plus at a bar), and the live band was perfect. Even before the live band, the music was exactly loud enough to hear it without being overwhelmed or needing to yell to have a conversation. Excellent vibe! Parking put back was good, but we were there early-ish (6pm) on a Sunday, but there is a big lot next door, too.

I guess automatic gratuity equals bad service! The guy brought me my drink either plastic straw and I said I don't use a straw. And he said "sorry, there's one in there." he obviously has never heard that the customers is always right, only would've taken one second to take out the straw. Management: tall guy with a beard and overalls.

The food (burgers, bbq, salads) is very good at Chairs. The staff can get busy at dinner rush, but they'll get to your table in 4-6 minutes from arrival. The atmosphere / people / music has been great every visit!

New review I CAME BACK TO CHAIRS AND I AM CHANGING MY REVIEW......! WAS A 5 NOW A 3. THE FOOD AND DRINKS STILL ARE GOOD... THAT SERVICE THOUGH FROM OLE BOY WAS RUDE AF.... Just one line that gets long AF and the nerve to rush you to order... Plus get better TV's......... Like I said drinks and food hit but get a better system to order.... Don't be so rude dude. Old review This place is amazing.. Smoked wings are a must. Drinks are good. I'm definitely going back.

Oh, Chairs. How much would I love for you to be my local hang? When I moved to East Point nearly four years ago, I was sure that I would come to know you well. It is thus with a heavy heart that today I take my leave of you.I worked as a bartender in a neighborhood bar in Atlanta for seven years and am therefore inclined to overlook a great many slights or mistakes or even hostility on the part of bar staff. This is also why I gave Chairs so many chances over the years. But Chairs is unparalleled?in its utt

I came in during March Madness hoping to have a drink while watching the UGA game. The bartender wouldn't tell me what types of beers the draft beers were (I ended up googling them after she pretended like she had no way of finding out) and also didn't want to check the TV channels to see if they got the Georgia game - the TV was stuck on a soccer match nobody was watching. There's a difference between a dive and a dump, and this place is a dump. The wings were solid but not worth putting up with everythin

This has to be one if the WORST experiences Ive ever had at bar! The bar tender was absolutely terrible. He was clearly VERY intoxicated. He refused to take orders or make drinks. It took over 45 mins to get a drink and it was not even worth drinking. I asked 3 different employees for the same drink over 14 times. Finally I believe a worker in the back came out and made sure we were taken care of after being there for almost an hr at that point. Mind you it was not busy. The bar tender had a horrible attitu

Was waiting to catch a flight and needed some food before hand and stopped here since its only 10 minutes from the airport. Service was great and on top of everything. Atmosphere was neat. Food was also great.

Good Atmosphere. decent food usually; sometimes hit or miss on specials. Pool tables. Bar service sometimes wander around a bit before getting to you. Neighborhood Pub

This rating is not reflective of the other staff including the kitched. However, The service consistently drops to one star whenever the bartender, Toya or Tonya, is working. She lacks any sense of customer service and shows little to no interest in the patrons. Her demeanor is robotic and disengaged, making the experience unpleasant and unwelcoming.

This place is like your classic neighborhood dive bar. It's literally up a flight of stairs, the music is incredible, there's outdoor seating too, prices and portions are excellent, great for lunch, a weekend night chill. A true GEM in East Point. So much character and quality here.

The food was very decent although it was not hot. Customer service was also decent. I subtracted a star to bring attention to that fact that I was automatically charged a twenty percent service fee (tip) even though I was by myself. That is unacceptable! Tips are based on customer service and food quality. I was going to give a standard tip but to have forced on me is uncalled for.

If your looking for something different not quite a speak easy but definitely a hidden spot with a diverse crowd, good music, clean bathrooms! Monday night Kaorake, Wednesday night trivia, food the Brisket nachos, Tacos, Veggie Burger Delicious! drink specials Tonight it's $7 Cranberry Mules??.... I've been coming for years , however FREE parking can be a bit tight it's a few other establishments in the area ....overall ITS A VIBE! Thank Yanna!

Don't believe the hype? Saw the 4.4 star review and thought I HAD to eat here. Picked up two orders of smoked lemon pepper wings and pulled brisket Mac and cheese. The wings were very disappointing. No real Lemon pepper flavour. The Smokeyness takes away from the flavour. My brother said the celery was the star of the dish. The Mac and Cheese was bland. Didn't taste the cheese and the brisket had no taste at all. There's a 20% gratuity already added on to your final total. That's too much in my opinion

Ima regular on Tuesdays and I am sooo disappointed to say that the bartender Toya just always rude and/disrespectful to patrons on her shifts. Well today was the final straw for us APA/BCA members come to enjoy our time here (feels like family) I finally spoke up saying ?it's no need for profanity and sarcastic remarks when we are legit trying to figure out the table? so as we just choose to leave and go somewhere else, I stop to report this cus THIS ISNT CHAIRS!! It's ENOUGH hearing ppl complain or give c

An old fashioned pool house pub right in East point. This place has a "come as you are" welcoming atmosphere, reasonably priced drinking options, and plenty of food options.

I met my business partner here for a meeting and I enjoyed it. I had the brisket and shrimp tacos and sweet potato fries. The ambience is cool and the fact that they have a plethora of chairs glued all over the place adds a different vibe. They have outside seating and smoking is allowed outside. I entered through the back stairwell and it felt like some secret place...Lol! My meal was under $15 and it filled me up. I will definitely visit again and take some friends with me as well.

Awesome place filled with an eclectic & diverse crowd that exuded nothing but LOVE!! I truly enjoyed my 1st visit, and I definitely plan to frequent this spot on MONDAYS for sure!! The staff was on point... Shout out to Heaven for being so attentive and all around genuine! If you can even halfway sing then this is your karaoke dream! I gave away so many gifts and made a lot of new connections that were memorable and filled with positive energy! Hope To See You There Soon! Enjoy -Qua'Mere

Husband brought me here and a truly enjoyed my time. Our waitress was really nice and knowledgeable. Got the shrimp taco (spicy but good) and the brisket taco and then the large nachos. The drinks were good as well, would recommend the blueberry drink and rum punch. They have pool and arcade games and the music playlist is ??. Dope spot in East point and will be back

It was my 1st time. I mean, everything was nice from the time we walked in, too, the time we sat at the bar. The bar tenders were amazing. But when we ordered our food, my date literally said NO MUSHROOMS. Why, when we get the food, it is loaded with MUSHROOMS. My date is HIGHLY allergic. After everything was corrected. I could say hands down one of the best times I have had in a LONG time. We will be back. Highly recommended ???? ???? ????.

I went for my Birthday celebration. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food and drinks were great. The only issue my sisters and myself had was:Chris our waiter. He wasn't very friendly. Then to top it off, he tried to charge us for things we didn't order. After speaking to a couple of people that were regulars, it seems as if they have had the same problem with him. The only thing that made the night perfect was the WONDERFUL manger: Promise. She was very apologetic for what happened and she corrected our b

Great bar with great food, super friendly and helpful staff. Wish my home town had some place like this! When I make it back down to Atlanta, this is definitely one of my first stops. Had a great time folks! Can't wait to come back!!

Pleasantly surprised by this spot. The ambiance was chill and calming. The food was out quick, hearty, and was tasty. Only gave 4 stars because cleanliness is crucial to me and the dishes from prior guests were on the neighboring tables the entire time we were there. Aside from that, it was 5 Star experience!

This place is like home to me and my family. They hosted my granddaughter's celebration of life 3 years ago. Food is awesome, atmosphere is very fun and servers are all incredible. Loved Jess.

It's bar food. It's not bad. But the people are extremely nice and it's very chill and laid-back atmosphere

Classic venue. Great food, great service. Staff is amazing!! But the place needs a deep cleaning.

Great drinks, atmosphere, and really good food! Surpassed any expectation I had, most definitely worth coming back

Nice neighborhood bar vibe. Good service. Food was good for bar food. Nice patio out back. Mixed drinks were ok.

What's not to love about Chairs? Their staff is wonderful! The waitress even remembered me and all my coworkers starter drinks. The crowd is always chill and the live entertainment with no cover charge is a bonus. At times it can take awhile to order due to the large crowd. However, I think it's worth the wait. They offer Bullard tables and there's karaoke on Mondays. The patio is always lit! It's a good time that you may not want to end.

My wife and I enjoyed it! Great place for a down to earth date! No bougie! Good service and great food! The music is perfect! It's no hip-hop! But you get mature adult vibes with some youthfulness to it!

I've only been once, but loved this cozy spot. What struck me the most was how warm & friendly everyone was without anything feeling overdone. I was only there for a short while but got to catch the tail end of a Sunday night jam session with amazing musicians and talented guests. Will definitely go back soon.

Great vibes, and great food! Quaint restaurant upstairs with a nice bar, and area to play pool. Friendly service and simple menu with good prices. Will come again, and hope to become a regular.

Arcade games, pool tables, outside upstairs bar, great food, patient staff, and Scofflaw POG !! I will revisit. I think the only upset was a lady who had a child their at almost midnight among the smoke which doesn't reflect on the establishment. Do visit

Chairs Is The Best Place To Be!! It's close to my house, the food is good AsF The Brisket Nachos, THE GREEN TEA SHOTS are top tier. The atmosphere is low-key and chill. A true hidden gem. Always my go too

If you're in East Point, this is the go to Spot for excellent drinks, great food and a groovy atmosphere

Great food and friendly staff. I loved their dart board for date night fun. Will definitely return!

1st time at this establishment. We were there on New Year Eve 2023. I must say we had a great time. The atmosphere was what I was looking for. It was nice to see the game area.

Whe not a fancy place, it's a great low key, relaxed place to hang out. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and food. I ordered a brisket sandwich with a side salad - both were good.

Great place, it's our new spot to just relax, have drinks and we always order their nachos. ???

Jess and Yahna (sp) always do an incredible job of making people feel welcome, including me?? I noticed they knew soooooo many people by name. Undoubtedly a few more times of me showing my face and I'll be the next name they call out as I approach. Food was delicious, vibe and atmosphere is inclusive and welcoming. Stop BUY and let them know #RealtorRob with Berkshire Hathaway Midtown recommended them! ????

Food is so good that I'm still eating while dictating this message!! Jr definitely needs a raise. Not a single thing was left on any plate in our party of 8 and we were all so comfortable and entertained by the environment. 10/10 will be back again!!! So happy we stopped here

I went here tonight for the last day of this month. Got here at 9pm. The staff was great and the food was delicious ??. I had got the chairs burger with fries and a drink ( pineapple screwdriver) which was good. If you are in the east point, ga area. You gotta give them a try!

What a unique little bar!!! Never been anywhere like it and it's the best food I've ever had!! Jr was just as welcoming to every single person that walked in!! I think we found a new favorite place when we're in town!!!

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Great adult games - billiards, pinball and Capcom machines. Service is a bit wonky. Myself and a friend went to have drinks at first at the bar. Service was quick but the weird part is when you ask for the tab/receipt or the prices the tall black guy with glasses just walks off with my $20 for two domestic beers and brought back my change and ignored the question. My friend saw the wings come out and the smell made him want to place an order. He was very

I am totally addicted to Chairs. It has awesome food, fun games, a cool balcony to hang out on and lots of character. But the real gem is Dr? Antoine's open Jazz jam on Sunday evenings. Excellent players come every Sunday to sign up and jam. If you play or sing, Dr? will Group you with some of the most tasteful musicians in Atlanta and you can jam. If you like to listen, you will get a top tier free show. I go every week.

Everything was incredible!! From food to service to drinks to atmosphere to originality! Never been any place like this and I'll never not stop by when in the area. Jr was one of the coolest people we've ever chatted with and gave incredible service in every sense of the word

Visiting from out of town and this place is AMAZING. I've been here 3 times already it is my favorite spot on my visit. The customer service, the food, the atmosphere it's all great!!!! Their drinks are tasty and well made

I liked it, enjoyed the veggie burger! Good beer on tap, I need to go at night next time. Nice bartender with cool tattoos!

I really enjoy my time here in this hidden jewel in the city. This spot is directly across the street from East point train station walking distance. Pool table, smoking on the back and parking is limited so get there early.

I really enjoyed the vibe at this place. The staff was awesome. The drinks and the food were good. There was a nice balcony area for outdoor seating as well as plenty of space indoors. Check it out!

Chairs used to be a really nice place about 4-5 years ago. Everything was perfect. Things have gone downhill after the pandemic. I come every two to three months to give them another chance but the staff is always rude. The food is decent and the drinks are reasonably priced (I usually only grab a beer) but the service is what keeps me away. Today, Aug. 16th, I got a guy with blonde braids at the bar. He stood on his phone for about a minute and a half before acknowledging me and even after, it was very ?w

Very kewl neighborhood bar with above quality food, staff, and atmosphere. I odered the wings (Korea BBQ) and Fancy Fried Chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and clearly higher quality ingredients. Craft beer was smoothe and customer interaction made clear this is a go to place. Several pool tables and kewl reteo video games (aka Donkey Kong, etc) round out the 'kewlness' for this place. PS... Very good mix of music playing as well! I will definitely be back next time in town!

Chairs has great food and service. The Jazz jam every Sunday is one of the best in the city! From 7-10p. Highly recommend!

This place had a very cool, unique atmosphere and the food was really good. I had smoked chicken tacos and fries, and they were amazing! I also had a cocktail, the rum punch, which was delicious! my friend and I spotted a photo booth in back and definitely took advantage of it

Great little upstairs dive bar. Nice pool tables. Some of the games and bumper pool need repair. Patio is cool. A good eclectic group of customers. Bartender was cool. Atmosphere was fun. Wings were really good. Other food orders were just good, which is fine for what it is. Would for sure return.

Everything was incredible!! Will definitely go back!!! Jr and the chef were so chill and it was great environment!! Never been treated better and everyone needs to check this place out!!! Every single thing on the menu was delicious

We love chairs, it's the perfect neighborhood bar. We actually don't live in the area but make the drive for the great dive experience. Food is good, drinks are good, service is friendly and there's good space and a nice layout. Whether it's just the two of us or a group of friends it's a good meeting spot.

Get the Chairs Melt. Best burger melt I've found in East Point,GA. Mezcal Oldfashion for days! ?? Karaoke is lit. Best bar on the Southside.

My first visit to Chairs was a pretty good experience. I had some beautifuly Smoked Wings, Spinach Artichoke Dip & Chips, Breaded Cauliflower, and Asparagus. All real tasty! My favorite was the Spinach Artichoke Dip. It was soooo cheesy! If your looking pool tables and a bar, your good to go. They also have nice size patio situation as well. Chairs is located in East Point, GA, right across the street from the East Point Marta Train Station.

Very chill laid back environment. Great music. Staff is friendly and hands off. The Creole shrimp tacos I had were slamming. If your in East point I believe and want to chill this is the spot to go.

"East Point, Ga.!". across the street and to the right of the, East Point MARTA Station. (*IMPORTANT*, Wheelchair Accessable, with the help of the Staff and the awesome Locals [it's an old building]. ) Culturally mixed & laid back. w/pool tables, arcade, open patio, and cool adults. Food, smoked on site!(kitchen closes @23:30). bring your peoples, and have some fun. "Spades, anyone!" -jdr

Fun space. Good drink prices

The food was good, the atmosphere pleasant. Great for a midweek date night.

The whole neighborhood hangs at this bar and welcome you with open arms. The bartenders are very charming, especially JR. The jazz music is amazing

A 20% tip is included in the final bill and the result is very poor service since the waiters and bar tenders do not need to work hard to earn good tips!!! Went on a Friday evening and the place was empty, the food was OK.

Great atmosphere. Pool tables, video games, photos booth and more. The food is delicious Chef Joe is an awesome chef and takes pride in preparing his delicious delectable food that will melt in your mouth. Personally, I love the smoked Sriracha wings basket for $11. Da Bomb!!! Nachos are finger licking good you can order grilled, brisket, or fried chicken. I've tried them all. So GOOD The Patio is lovely a great place to get a smoke and feel the breeze. Monday's karaoke night bring a friend. It's lots of fu

They are always kind , food here is 6.5/10 but their best is the burgers! Cool fun vibe for singles , groups or couples that enjoy bar scene. I believe they have theme nights as well ** update! Went a week ago and a roach crawled across the bar calmly while i was enjoying my drink the lady bartender favored the people she knew and i waited a while for my refills , the turkey sand was so so , sorry but must deduct from previous review

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
