Nice food selection for a bar. Fast service, even with just 3-4 people working they were handling the crowd well. 2 nice adequate restrooms. Drinks strong, didn't like the heavy salt on the Paloma-should have ordered it without. Rum Punch and Espresso drink good. -okra portion size is too small. Too much salt on them. Great fresh cook just give more and use less salt. -Brussels are too oily and buttery-you can see the butter heavy. Good portion just too much butter. -Brisket Taco-Great value and I loved

Every neighborhood needs a Chairs! This place is a vibe! If you're coming for bar food you won't be disappointed. If you're coming for an experience, you will be amazed! Highly recommend Sunday night jazz to experience the best of what Chairs has to offer.

The food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was laid back, mature, and live jazz session. The service was sub-par. Not attentive. Drinks were sparce. Not a good selection of cognacs; only Martell. I'm coming back on Sundays.

My friend, cousin and I went here on NYE. This is such a cool spot. Old school hip hip playing, food and drinks were so good. One thing about Atlanta restaurants, they serve your food while it's still so hot and I appreciate it so much.

It is a "sit where you please" type of establishment, but there were few open tables considering the crowd... and the tables that were opened were not clean. Typical late night bar with food. I've been here many times. Servers are always friendly, but service is hard to rate as there's barely any after you get your food. On occasion, someone would check on you, but this is more of the exception than the rule. Something entertaining is usually going on here, whether it's trivia, karaoke, or music bingo. Very laid back. Food is totally unhealthy, but it's flavorful. Never disappointed.

Everything was fantastic! I ordered the Old Fashioned cocktail, and it was absolutely delightful. They also have arcades and pool tables upstairs for entertainment. However, I'm not sure if it's wheelchair accessible as I didn't spot an elevator.

This is definitely a different type of bar. The people are friendly, the drinks are great, and the decor is interesting. There are a few pool tables and video games sure to bring back nostalgia. The food was decent and didn't take long. There is a big parking lot within walking distance along with street parking.

We went here on a Saturday night around eight. It wasn't that crowded but around ten it was packed. They have pool tables and good music playing. I gave 4 stars on service bc when it got crowded it was hard getting the waiter to come by. The was good for bar food and the drinks were on point. The only downside was you have to walk up a lot of stairs to get to the bar/ lounge.

The vibe of this place is awesome. My BF & I stumbled upon it whole in the area and we had no idea it was Sunday Jazz Night. The music was amazing, they were swapping out band members and playing some great tunes. Definitely a cozy but casual place. Used to go here waaaay back when it was the corner tavern but just started frequenting again since discovering they have live music Sunday evenings. This place was so chill! It is a bar with pool tables. It feels and sounds like a bar with pool tables. The food was excellent (always a plus at a bar), and the live band was perfect. Even before the live band, the music was exactly loud enough to hear it without being overwhelmed or needing to yell to have a conversation. Excellent vibe! Parking put back was good, but we were there early-ish (6pm) on a Sunday, but there is a big lot next door, too.

I guess automatic gratuity equals bad service! The guy brought me my drink either plastic straw and I said I don't use a straw. And he said "sorry, there's one in there." he obviously has never heard that the customers is always right, only would've taken one second to take out the straw. Management: tall guy with a beard and overalls.

The food (burgers, bbq, salads) is very good at Chairs. The staff can get busy at dinner rush, but they'll get to your table in 4-6 minutes from arrival. The atmosphere / people / music has been great every visit!

I came in during March Madness hoping to have a drink while watching the UGA game. The bartender wouldn't tell me what types of beers the draft beers were (I ended up googling them after she pretended like she had no way of finding out) and also didn't want to check the TV channels to see if they got the Georgia game - the TV was stuck on a soccer match nobody was watching. This has to be one if the WORST experiences Ive ever had at bar! The bar tender was absolutely terrible. He was clearly VERY intoxicated. He refused to take orders or make drinks. It took over 45 mins to get a drink and it was not even worth drinking. I asked 3 different employees for the same drink over 14 times. This rating is not reflective of the other staff including the kitched. However, The service consistently drops to one star whenever the bartender, Toya or Tonya, is working. She lacks any sense of customer service and shows little to no interest in the patrons. Her demeanor is robotic and disengaged, making the experience unpleasant and unwelcoming.

This place is like your classic neighborhood dive bar. It's literally up a flight of stairs, the music is incredible, there's outdoor seating too, prices and portions are excellent, great for lunch, a weekend night chill. A true GEM in East Point. So much character and quality here.

The food was very decent although it was not hot. Customer service was also decent. I subtracted a star to bring attention to that fact that I was automatically charged a twenty percent service fee (tip) even though I was by myself. That is unacceptable! Tips are based on customer service and food quality. I was going to give a standard tip but to have forced on me is uncalled for.

Don't believe the hype? Saw the 4.4 star review and thought I HAD to eat here. Picked up two orders of smoked lemon pepper wings and pulled brisket Mac and cheese. The wings were very disappointing. No real Lemon pepper flavour. The Smokeyness takes away from the flavour. My brother said the celery was the star of the dish. The Mac and Cheese was bland. I met my business partner here for a meeting and I enjoyed it. I had the brisket and shrimp tacos and sweet potato fries. The ambience is cool and the fact that they have a plethora of chairs glued all over the place adds a different vibe. They have outside seating and smoking is allowed outside. I entered through the back stairwell and it felt like some secret place...Lol! My meal was under $15 and it filled me up. I will definitely visit again and take some friends with me as well.

Husband brought me here and a truly enjoyed my time. Our waitress was really nice and knowledgeable. Got the shrimp taco (spicy but good) and the brisket taco and then the large nachos. It was my 1st time. I mean, everything was nice from the time we walked in, too, the time we sat at the bar. The bar tenders were amazing. But when we ordered our food, my date literally said NO MUSHROOMS. Why, when we get the food, it is loaded with MUSHROOMS. My date is HIGHLY allergic. After everything was corrected. What's not to love about Chairs? Their staff is wonderful! The waitress even remembered me and all my coworkers starter drinks. The crowd is always chill and the live entertainment with no cover charge is a bonus. At times it can take awhile to order due to the large crowd. However, I think it's worth the wait. They offer Bullard tables and there's karaoke on Mondays. The patio is always lit! It's a good time that you may not want to end.

I've only been once, but loved this cozy spot. What struck me the most was how warm & friendly everyone was without anything feeling overdone. I am totally addicted to Chairs. It has awesome food, fun games, a cool balcony to hang out on and lots of character. But the real gem is Dr? Antoine's open Jazz jam on Sunday evenings. Excellent players come every Sunday to sign up and jam. If you play or sing, Dr? will Group you with some of the most tasteful musicians in Atlanta and you can jam. If you like to listen, you will get a top tier free show. I go every week.

Chairs used to be a really nice place about 4-5 years ago. Everything was perfect. Things have gone downhill after the pandemic. I come every two to three months to give them another chance but the staff is always rude. Both were cooked to perfection and clearly higher quality ingredients. Craft beer was smoothe and customer interaction made clear this is a go to place. My first visit to Chairs was a pretty good experience. I had some beautifuly Smoked Wings, Spinach Artichoke Dip & Chips, Breaded Cauliflower, and Asparagus. All real tasty! My favorite was the Spinach Artichoke Dip. It was soooo cheesy! If your looking pool tables and a bar, your good to go. They also have nice size patio situation as well.
