Customer Reviews

We had such a GREAT time that we came back the next day! Our group consisted of 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 kiddo. Awesome deal for arcade games, $10 for 2 hours! So many games to play from racing, pinball, redemption games (you just don't get tickets from the deal), and classics like Pac-Man. Mini Golf was fun, but so HOT outside. I wish more misters were placed throughout the courses. The rides were enjoyed by the family after 5pm with the wristband deal. So many snack bar options throughout the inside an

Haven't been here in years! It's just like we remembered and now taking our kids here, now that they're of height, lol! But able to do and try more... prices are little pricey, but decent for amusement park... kids enjoyed, definitely recommend going early when they open, because the local arizonians go in the afternoon/evening and gets crowded. Easy to find place and parking is open.

I love this place so much! It's a good place to go if you have friends and don't know what to do. They have an arcade and an amusement park outside! The park opens at 5 but the arcade at like 12. It is very pricey also, so make sure to bring a lot of money (at least 100). Overall a great place to hangout with family and friends or for an event but just really pricey.

Loved it way back when and love it still today. Thanks for having a nice selection of pinball machines, video games, coasters, bumper boats, race cars and the whole nine, my family a d I sure enjoyed our good time! Thanks for still being there hope you remain forever and a day!

We had a nice time at castles and coasters with our family (we had 4 adults one in a wheel chair and 1 child under 40 inches) We went during the week day for 35$ We got unlimited rides (you can also go inside the park without having to pay if you don't want to ride any rides) and for 7$ more we got 1 hour of arcade play the rides however do NOT open up till 5pm at the time we went which we did not know when we arrived lol I'm going to take this review in sections. Parking- parking was free which is great t

Such an awesome place and they had killer deals going! Hands down my greatest ar ade experience ever! Once we got outside the fun didn't stop! The whole family had a blast and it was surprisingly affordable

Giving this place 4 stars because it wasn't crowded. If it was, then it would only be 3 stars. The advertisement is misleading and lacking much needed information on pricing and all of the costs and options. The UNLIMITED THRILL RIDE PASS does not include the Fun House nor XD Dark Ride. Those are extra $$. Also, the Sky Wire and Ropes Challenge are only open on the weekend. Plus one ride was broken. So we paid for an unlimited pass that didn't include 5 of the ?rides?. The gamer pass only lets you play arca

Fun place with rides, an arcade and challenging miniature golf courses. No shade outside though. Restrooms were clean. Water is $4 for a bottle of Dasani. Can cash on tickets at the arcade for candy and other fin stuff. Wasn't a fan of the glass on the basketball net and skeet-ball. Air hockey was fun but the driving game have loose wheels.

We had a blast at this great mini-golf park! The customer service was excellent, and the course is really well maintained. They have a fantastic variety of holes, and the creativity in the design is really impressive. We'll definitely be back! A fun date night, family day, or adult activity! Pros: - Free parking - Easy access to restrooms - Clean - Great customer service - Value comparable to price Cons: - Rest rooms could be cleaner and no feminine products are available - No trash bins within the golf

Great place the roller coasters are $50 per person not just for the roller coasters but the other places except the racing and the water ducks and there's also an arcade it was really a fun experience

Took my Daughter here with her friend for her birthday! Great time, good food, fun rides. I you go kart pick #22, trust me!!!!

Haven't been here since I was a teenager and it's still great! Took my daughter and friend and they rode all the rides multiple times with zero to little wait time. Took them next door for lunch but also ate here and the food was great but especially the service. I had an order problem and they not only remade my food but also gave me a free drink. Definitely coming back with my other kids soon!

cute family theme park - we did an ?elite? pass that allowed us 1 game of mini golf, limitless coaster rides, and 1 hr of arcade. our favorite part was the mini golf! they don't tell you that in your 1 hr of arcade NONE of the digital tickets you win are allowed to be redeemed :( sad day. wish they told me that before i won 1,000+ tickets ??

It's pretty pricey. The best time to go is Monday through Thursday because you only pay $35 for the ride wristband instead of $50. My daughter and I always have a blast it's our familiar go to spot.

We went to take our nieces to play some put put. It was a great time. Good memories

We had a great time and snagged the summer deal. The wristbands were a bit annoying, but I understand the need behind it.

Great family park! Lots of adventure here! Safe environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a thrilling day!

I liked the miniature golf. 72 holes. The arcade setup was nice. The rides seem to be okay. The go-karts were constantly packed the whole day. The log ride was efficient and a good experience. There seemed to be a lot of kid rides which was nice. Those are the positives. We bought the Elite package which does NOT include the ropes course or the dark ride inside. They give you an arm band and it didn't work really well in the arcade. The bathroom didn't smell great. I don't know if I'd go back with adults.

Arcade experience is alright, feels like the selection is slowly dying out over time. Still has the Retro arcade cabinets upstairs though! Pretty decent arcade deals for friends and family too. Still has competitive classic fighting games as well! Sadly, not as often used like it was years back. Glad this location is still around.

Gabbi Q has single handedly made Castles and Coasters fun for me! I had been coming for months to play pinball but could never get anyone to fix a few machines that have never worked in all that time until I talked to Gabbi Q.!! She has gone above and beyond to make sure the pinball machines are up and running and everytime I've been since I met Gabbi, they're ALL WORKING !! She's a delight I'm excited to say thanks everything I see her working ??

They have a massive arcade for people who love old-school video games. It was definitely a moment of nostalgia for me walking in there. The rides aren't crazy and their aren't a lot of them but you can still have fun only ride i don't recommend is the Patriot very hard stops and hard turns water rides are great for the summer to keep cool. Great for kids ????

Arcade is pretty good. It was too hot for us though. They do not have misters by any of the rides. My grandson got overheated. But the wonderful staff refunded us the ticket prices because we had to leave after one ride.

We went May 4th. We did everything and had lots of fun. The park was very clean. None of the rides were shut down. The mini golf course is creative and impressive. The arcade is fun. Rides were good. Best part was the rides had no lines. The employee working the bumper carts with the hurt foot was the best. Super nice. Most employees were pretty friendly and made conversation.

There really is something there for everyone. I was surprised that they had alot more attractions than I expected. Unlimited is totally worth it if you like playing games like Pac Man, Tomb Raider and Air Hockey. Wide array of Pin-ball machines and a room known as House of Fun, if i am correct, that makes you want to feel like your are spinning and about to fall. Beware, your in for a surprise right after. So leave your little one outside if they get scared easy. They have coasters and rides for everyone. D

Worst experience of my life. My son and I were here for only 10 min and we're scammed $20 for the worst arcade experience. Mind you this place used to hold some of my greatest memories with my dad before he passed away with cancer. I thought I could share similar experiences with my son but instead we got to play 5 games and left within 10 minutes from arriving. Each game cost between $3-$5 and the unlimited games were very few if any. Not to mention some the games he wanted to play were not even working. P

We haven't been here in years, AND I'm glad we came back! The grounds were clean and tidy. The arcade actually smelt like it had been freshly cleaned. The four different golf courses were fun to play and kept everybody moving. Most importantly all the young people working in the ticket area, arcade, and most of the rides were really friendly and polite with our kids. It was a great evening.

The website says children are $9.99. They charged us $15.00 for our 8 year old grand daughter. We played miniature golf. Got balls stuck on 2 different holes due to the pipes being clogged. All that was done for us was They gave us more balls. So we played 15 and a half holes for $45.00. There were ants everywhere so a lot of bites all over us. The course is very poorly maintained. And they could careless.

This place is a bit of a gem in the desert. I don't see ads for it. But they have some good rides, a huge arcade(with solder 80s games and pinball upstairs) and was a lot of fun. I went on spring break and the website said the rids don't come on till 2 but about half we working when we go there. The go karts were fun. But the smell of the exhaust from them still lingers in my throat the next morning. The crowds seem to change as the sun went down. I would like to go back and play mini golf next time.

Mini golf has always been fun here, arcade isn't very large but decent. Great for families and get togethers. I haven't stepped foot on a ride there in over a decade but they haven't changed a bit.

My whole family had a ball in the arcade, riding coasters, and driving bumper boats. The price is low for all day fun, and when night falls, the lights give it a new excitement. The log ride is really fun & a great way to cool off. The games are fun, and our gang ranges from 12 to 24 years old. Everyone had a blast.

We came mid afternoon on a weekday for some putt putt golf. It was very fun! And pretty dang mellow. They have four different courses you can golf. Very classic feel. Also a fun arcade with some good classics. My wife hadn't been since she was a teen and really felt like it held up!

Great place for a half day family time. They don't open the big ride until 5pm. We came in morning 10:30am. It seems we are the only group. The arcade has a lot of games and foods are kid?s favorite unhealthy-high-calorie soul food.

My kids had a blast! We went on a Friday morning, so lines weren't very long. It's definitely not a huge place, but enough rides & things to do to have some fun as a family!

We loved it ! Especially the pirate ship one !

Fun place. Pretty pricey. The ropes and zip line are separate cost from thrill rides. The cost for zip line and ropes is $10. The arcade games range from 1.50 to 3 a piece . Some of them did not work. Drink prices are 4 for bottled water and 5 for sodas.

Fun, fun, fun. A Phoenix must do. Lived here my whole life and have always had awesome experiences and excellent customer service.

Went as a chaperone for a school field trip on a Friday morning and if your looking for a fun and easy place for a trip this is where it's at! During week days they are only open to school Monday -Friday untill 5 pm! You can come in at anytime during the week day and only have to worry about schools interacting with your student! Definitely a good location for a summer field trip!

Went for a private schools only event, tons of highschool kids cutting lines and being very rude. Lines were pretty long for some rides, worst go-karts I've ever been on. Lots of arcade games were non functional. Overall it wasn't great but my 6 year old seemed to have fun.

Wonderful! Everything was neat and clean. Clearly, the park is very well organized. ?? We came for mini golf and were shocked to find out there are 4 unique courses! We played the 4th course and it was one of the best. ??????????The greens were in great shape and rolled consistently. The obstacles were fun and challenging. Needless to say, we will be back to play the other courses soon! BTW, we played 5pm-ish Sunday, and there was no waiting! ????????

it was fun!! the big green rollercoaster hurt my back tho. the water roller coaster soaked me!

My daughter and I went here on a Friday and had a blast!! We got the thrill rides/arcade/mini golf tickets. She's not great at mini golf and it was super hot, so we wound up only doing half the course. The arcade part, you get $10, and we wound up with 850 tickets! We were able to get the small toys and candy she wanted and these cool tattoo pens. I didn't realize rides don't open until 5, but because we had the arcade and mini golf we were able to kill time. The rides themselves were so much fun! We were

We went to Castles N Coasters just for the mini golf, and we really enjoyed the variety of obstacles along the course. There are several courses to choose from. The price is affordable ($15 per person). Great activity for many ages!

Went to play mini golf at 7:30 on a Monday night. Would definitely recommend! It wasn't crowded, the course is well lit and beautiful at night, and everything was exceptionally clean! Plenty of variety in hole design and layout. Kept our group of 7 (ages ranging 8-25) entertained the whole time. The detail in the course decor is spectacular. There are 4 mini golf courses, all with different themes. Overall, would return! We did not use the arcade, amusement rides, or snack bar. Women?s bathroom was clean

We had fun playing putt put and arcade games. Wanted to go on the Go carts and bumper boats, perhaps next time we visit Phoenix again soon and when we have more free time. Great place to take the whole family and have clean fun

Came here to celebrate my daughter?s 8th birthday, I remember having a lot of fun here as a kid. We were having a great day until I let my daughter and her friend ride the desert storm without me and she let me know that one of the workers named Jose M. Inappropriately touched my daughters leg as he was checking the lap bar. I was so upset!!! I brought this to the attention of mgmt and he (Jordon) seemed as he was trying to brush it off ?it's part of the job description? he said. I was appalled. He then off

Man a oh man, kiddos and DAD had an awesome time. Got the unlimited passes and ended up spending 6+ hours there. Rides started at 2pm, which we were unaware of until we were already on site. Unlimited suviner cup.

We got there on a weekday was told that the rides don't open until 5pm on weekdays. Anyways I wanted to at least ride the bumper boats and go karts and use the arcade and gold pass to kill time until 5pm that day. First of all we got there at 10am when it opens. Nothing on their website stated the rides open at five. So we played one round of golf used the 1 hour arcade pass. Ate at their expensive cafe. Did everything we could to kill time. The go karts were closed my bumper boat kept going around in circl

We had so much fun. WOW, I liked it

I had so much fun. For a small place for fun games, miniature golf, go carts, sky dive drop, roller-coasters,dumper cars, etc....You stay busy. I would think that this place would benefit from having lockers and more rides. For a way to getting out of the house and fun for a day. I really impressed. Specifically the video games up stairs. Having all the games I use to play growing up. Will be coming back with my boys.

We spent the entire day here. We have been coming for years and yesterday was the best. The staff are mostly teenagers and they were all sweet and treeted our 9 year old daughter kindly. The bathrooms were clean, the park was clean and there were no big lines.

Have been in phx about 5 yrs never been here. The mini golf was awesome, will have to go back now and play the othet three courses. Also the arcade was amazing, love the pinball!!

The pinball machines are not maintained at all here which was mainly why we came to try this place out. Half of them are not accepting money at all. The other half feel like they have a million plays on them and need to have some heavy maintenance done. We tried the large photo booth which costs $8. It took our money and then when it was suppose to print our photos it had an error code and didn't print anything. I would say if you're an adult looking for a date night stick with the mini golf.

Miniature golf is great fun. Nice for date nights with lots of walking and time for talking with fun in between, in an outdoor setting. We've been many times on the 4 different courses.

We went and only did mini golf. Shocked to find out they have so many full 18 hole courses. Pretty good value for the cost. The themes and holes are well labeled and in good condition. Staff was grumpy and not super helpful, but we had a good time.

The only reason this is 3 stars instead of 0 is because it's unfortunately the only working ?amusement park? in all of Arizona. If you're like me, you can from somewhere like Florida with everything imaginable. Arizona sucks. Anyways, the rides are short, uncomfortable, whatever. Mini golf is the only real highlight for me and the family. Arcade? Sure. But that's what Dave & Busters is for. Plus, D&B is cleaner.

There summer special package of $55 is well worth it. It's an all day pass that includes $10 arcade card,(which goes quite fast.) 1game of mini-golf and unlimited ride pass after 5pm. Despite the summer heat to wear you down they do have the souvenirs cup with or with out popcorn adds on up to $17 well worth with unlimited drinks and popcorn. This place is great for the hole family, to drop off the youngsters or to go on a date to feel young again... Take sunscreen and wear a cap, your going to need it.

I didn't actually attend this place but I went and looked around , went inside & checked out prices. It's more expensive than going to Cedar Point. It's a no from me.. that's insane.

Such a nostalgic flashback! My hubby & my first time back since Jr High (in the early 90s) and our daughters' first time there. Nothing has changed at all. Surprised at how generally well it has been maintained. We all had a super fun day! Thank you for a fun time, Castles & Coasters!

What a great way to end the week. The amusement park is small but both Desert Storm and The Patriot are pretty decent rides. They also have a log flume, a drop tower, a spinner flat ride, go karts and bumper cars. It's a pretty fun little park worth the $35 for the unlimited ride wrist band. I'll definitely bring my family back the next time we are in the area.

We came to castles and coasters on a Sunday it wasn't packed at all the rides had almost no line. The log ride was my daughter's favorite. They have mini golf and an arcade for unlimited rides it was 47 dollars. So not to bad. There are bug and little rides so perfect for everyone

Just been passing by over the years and never got in here. So today I learned that my life hasn't been complete. Now that I have discovered Castles N' Coasters and basked in it's magnificence I think I will be able to live a better life going forward. Full disclaimer, I am a two time Tampico putt putt champ and one time defending Phoenix area rugby tournament putt off champ. So yeah I putt a bit. I also have hair that when feathered can put a young Barry Gibb to shame. But I degress. This place has four fu

We've always loved coming here, still do... I wanted to give 5 stars but since they went to scanning wrist bands, the lines for the rides are ridiculously wayyyy too long! Yes today was a Saturday and spring break but we've been here when it was busier and it never took so long to get on the rides. Also the price of the games have skyrocketed! Still a fun and very clean place!

I went to this place with my furballs (my children). We came excited for a day full of fun and the park looks great. Turns out, the park was scheduled to close half way through the day for no reason and reopen hours later. And, they didn't let us split payments across cards, so we'd be paying $200 for only a few hours. I didn't end up staying, but I will update this review when I get into the park

Do the mini golf! Its $15 per course with 4 different courses to choose from. 72 rounds in all - in this ultimate unique mini golf course. All different mini challenges and views, and one of the most phenomenal mini golf courses I've ever seen. This is a must!

Good time with the grown kids. Concession had quite a line since there was only one employee taking orders. That being said, Victor was very attentive, courteous and apologitic for the wait time. He is a perfect example of what employers look for in employees. Great job Victor!

This place is awesome ?? great atmosphere, fun games and rides. Prices are reasonable and the food is good as well. If you have never been to this place before I recommend you check it out and see for yourself.

Our trip was much better than the last time we went. I really liked the vintage games in the castle. Cool rides for all ages. They have delicious treats like fresh waffles with soft serve ice cream and churros. They also have pizza and cake. A little pricey but nonetheless a fun time with the kids.

A day of fun is guaranteed at Castles N Coasters ?? This classic desert destination has been around for years. If it's too hot to play a round of miniature golf then you can cool on the log splash ride on the bumper boats. If the really want to beat the heat, then check out the neat two story arcade complete. Awesome place for parties! Fun and games for all ages.

Been here as a kid, came back as an adult with my own kids. Such a fun and great place to take your kids. So much to do for everyone. We played mini golf ?? which was so much fun.

My church group and Other church groups went here for the end of our youth conference and it was so fun, Go kart lines could be a little Faster and Go karts were a little on the slower side but I still lapped everyone in go karts. overall pretty good place to bring a lot of people. workers very nice and helpful .

This place is the freaking best! We spent hours here and it felt like a blink of an eye! There is so much to do! Between the three stories of arcade games, 4 mini golf courses and all the roller coasters and what not you will be hard spent to not enjoy yourself! Plus there is plenty of places to get food/snacks and all sorts of goodies. You've got to stop by and give them a try!

We went on a very hot weekday, so we are reviewing what we did: Mini golf - ?????- several amazing courses, really fun (only thing to note is that there is not much shade so on a crazy hot day my kids got grumpy and hot so we had to quit half way through.... Thats on us though, the course was good) Go karts ??? - ok, my kart didn't go fast and the loop was kind of short. I would skip next time Bumper boats ???? - really fun, but a little hard to navigate with twisting the handle to make it go. My younger

This was definitely the place to go for a fun getaway with the children and those rides were intimidating for my children they did not get on that tall drop ride! They stayed clear of that one but everything else was a go! Will do this again in the future

Hey, I gotta tell you about a really scary experience I had on the Desert Storm ride. I was sittin? on the left side, about the fifth seat, and I was shocked when the safety harness started to come loose during the ride! It didn't open all the way, but it loosened up enough that someone could?ve slipped out ? especially with all the speed and sharp turns. Thank God nothing happened, but this is a serious safety problem and that ride needs a full inspection ASAP. What really shakes me up is that now I'm s

The price for tickets cheap just $15 and my family of 4 just cost $60 you can enjoy golf inside this park and a lot good attractions to try inside my kids love it

Super fun! Not overpriced and great food. There are only a few rides but those few are so fun! Rode each one like 5 times and never got tired even though Desert Storm was closed. The place is just a little run-down but still cute and pleasing

The price is alot higher. And the lines are extremely long and their hours of games are great as long as you don't mind being in line waiting for an opportunity to be used hours of waiting in line. Its great fun however you might want to expect at least a one or 200.00 day for the v

I had so much fun here!! I'm almost 30 and was last here nearly 20 years ago Not gonna lie I had just as much fun I thought it was gonna be packed I came on a Sunday that was 65 degrees and stayed from 2p to 8p, the longest I waited in line for a ride was 10 mins , and I rode Every ride about 5 times . I thought the 45$ unlimited wrist band was very fair but as a kid in Texas, I grew up going to six flags, sea world, and schlitterbahn and those tickets were 60$ years ago so I found this to be an excellen

Really great place for the kids to get all that energy out, great for adults too. The lines take up most of your time. My fiance & I went on a Sunday around noon until 7pm. The rides are fun, the staff doesn't seem happy to be there. But I mean to be there almost all day I don't blame them but still. Overall great place to unwind with the family & have some snacks & games.

It was just $15 per person for one game of miniature golf pf 18 holes but there's about 4 different courses to do so worth doing more than just one round. $50 per person will also get you unlimited rides excluding the bumper cars and their fun house but that's only $2 if you have the unlimited rides wristband

Empty and now I know why. ---Overpriced and broken would be two ways to describe this facility. Staff at the ticket both and prize both very unhelpful and unwilling to process any refund of games not working or eating the balance on a card. I watched the balance decline and took photos of each game transaction but the staff could care less to make it right. $1.50 to $8.00 per game ?? is disgusting. $8.00 for a ICE ?? ridiculous 17$-30 for an hour play at Chuck E Cheese and have more fun knowing you're not

Fun day date. Best mini golf in Phoenix and reasonably priced. The Elite pass was worth the money.

This place is even more fun now than when i was a kid! So much to do. The 3D zombie shooting game/ride is a great experience for $5 a person. The zipline was fun too! They have a giant claw machine too that's really good! It's expensive but good!

Fun mini golf & video games. I like the options to only pay for what we wanted. This was a nice clean & fun stop while on vacation. So convenient a location. Was not crowded and I had a great time.

This was a fun mini golf course place. There are 4 different courses and I was able to do 2/4 today. The courses were fun and tricky. I would say that the course is also pretty well maintained too. I enjoyed it very much and would come back. Definitely plan for hours of fun.

Bathrooms were clean and constantly being cleaned. Ride lines were about 5-15 mins tops which is awesome for a Saturday. We showed up at 2 when the rides open up and hung out until 7:30 pm. It was a constant flow of people but it wasn't terrible and the lines were painless. My son had a great time and I remember coming to castles and coasters as a kid too. Food is decent and pretty cheap! Drinks are more expensive $6 for a large soda. But I recommend the collector cup for $13 and free refills all day. Custo

UPDATE: Still a great place! Needs new carpet. ?? For some reason they got rid of the unlimited arcade gameplay. That's too bad because it's getting really expensive to play arcade games. /////////// This place really puts a giant smile on the kids faces! Come here expecting to blow your paycheck, but it'll be worth the fun and games and smiles it brings to all the kids AND GROWNUPS TOO. ???? The food is tiny itty bitty portion sizes for the price. But the kids LOVE IT. The patriot roller coaster shut down

Was on vacation and looking for something to do. We ran across Castles N Coasters and thought to give it a try. When we passed by it we were uncertain if it would be any good, however once inside we had hours of fun and unforgettable memories. It's a cute little park and perfect for a fun day out.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
