Carolina Arcade Museum

I was in town to work and totally surprised to see this gem! I didn't have time to play today, but I'll definitely come back. The variety of games is great and the vibes are solid with reasonable prices.

A great way to spend a few hours in a small, quaint town. A lot of nostalgic games. You pay to enter, then can play all games for free. Our kids (10 & 13) had a blast, and their grandparents (64 & 74) found some old favorites.

Well worth the 40 minute drive for the day! You can pay for the day, but come and go for food etc. Will definitely be back!

Stellar spot, good variety of machines. I've been going to arcades since the 90's, but I saw a few new machines and many old friends. The space is used well, and the lower floor includes an old foosball table. There's a good selection of pinball from various eras. We were in town and decided to do a little shopping and what teenager likes to go shopping so we found this cool little arcade close by that we can pay either $7 for one hour or $12 for the entire day and that's a no-brainer. Just discovered this place. Way more than just a trip down memory lane! They've got dozens of old school arcade games (and a few consoles, too) with a good selection of pinball machines as well. I found most of my favorites from way back when. They even have PONG. (Yeah, that dates me for sure.) Snacks are available, too... you could easily spend HOURS in here. Thanks for the fun afternoon!

Our grandchildren LOVE visiting the Carolina Arcade Museum! They were given gift cards for Christmas and we spent almost all day there today. A VERY clean and well-maintained business. They offer a wide variety of retro games. There is also a party room upstairs for birthdays and many other occasions. We have had several birthdays there. There is an area for drinks and snacks also, and other merchandise for purchase. We highly recommend!!

How can you not give this 5 stars? One flat price and you can play any game as long as you want for free! There are shooter games, driving games, pinball and maze video games. And there's a private room downstairs you could have a party in. We are making it a priority to return.

So funny to see all the old school games and pinball machines. Good music all day long. Helpful staff. Just a good time all around. Close to good food, just across the street at the copper penny.

The games are vintage so a few have issues. But for 30 plus years of age. We had a great time. We are listening to Ready player 1 on Audio book. This place help son understand about what is going on in the book.

Hands down one of the best arcades I've ever been to. I could spend hours at this place playing the arcade cabinets alone, but there's also a great selection of pinball machines and consoles. The only downside is that it gets kinda cramped whenever it's busy.

Took my two 12 year old boys here today! We had a blast. These games are all meticulously maintained and in great condition. The pinball section is out favorite and spans everything from early electro-mechanical machines to the newest releases from Stern. We love the one price, play all day pricing model that lets us try everything without spending a fortune. They continually get new games and every time we go, there is something new to try. It was well worth the 75 minute drive to spend the afternoon

This place is AMAZING!!! If We would have had this in Rutherford County when I was younger I would have been here all the time. Lots of pinball machines and old school arcade games. Pay one price to play all day or pay by the hour. My family of 3 had a great time.

Awesome place, with a pretty good sized collection of games from the late '70s to current. Very reasonable, $7 for an hour or $12 unlimited. They do have drinks and snacks, but you can't take them around the games - lobby only. I took a group of middle and high school youth, and myself, and we had a great time. It brought back a lot of wonderful memories playing games I played almost 50 years ago.

Mr. David is the best(The lucky owner). I arrived at noon to play my old challenge ?Fireball?. He told me it was Out Of Order. But he finished repairing another game stating that he was off yesterday so he would fix it next. So within a few minutes he fixed. Spent over 4 hours reliving my youth on many of the Older machines. Played all of the pins. This is a wonderful place in a great location near restaurants in the downtown.

Being able to stomp my teenage son in Streetfighter bc he didn't know any move combinations from 30 years ago, made this well worth the trip!! There's a Groupon right now so four of us got in for 32 dollars for all day play. Considering my kids usually blow through 100 at a newer arcade, this was a great deal. Lastly, a lot of older game arcades have broken games. This one only had like five total. Definitely will be back ~

This is a fantastic place to have fun for young and old alike. They do Birthday parties and it's very well organized. They keep the arcade very clean. There is a large selection of Pinball Machines and Classic Arcade cabs to play. The machines are housed on multiple floors of the building. Incredibly nice staff. Right on Main Street.

I love this place. There is such a good selection of games and with just paying one base price for unlimited play, it really gives you the opportunity to try games you haven't played before! They have an hourly option or an all day option. if you want to leave and come back, you can do that as well. I took my older teenagers and two younger children and we all had a great time. This place is perfect. It's really chill, isn't filled with blasting music like some of the other arcades (not knocking them but some of the AVL arcades are a bit too intense). This place is amazing! My husband and kids wanted to visit during our stay at a nearby campground. I figured I would go along for the ride, and ended up having a blast. It's worth it to pay for the unlimited game play, you can easily spend two hours here and not even realize it. There is so much to play with including more pinball machines than I've ever seen in one place. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area!

Held my sons Birthday party here. Was awesome! Staff was helpful when needed, was not pushy to get us out of the space. We brought our own food, drink and cupcakes which I actually liked because we were not forced to buy their products. The party area was really nice bc it was away from the rest of the crowd. Don't let the name fool you. You can play all the arcade games. We didn't have to wait to play. There are plenty of games to chose from. There are even old consoles games to play. It was ok, but several games didn't work at all and some were not working properly. Not too many new titles on the pinball. They charge by the hour to play too. Can't take that drink you just bought into the game area. Kinda lame.

This arcade is amazing! The staff is super friendly, clean well maintained environment, and they have an amazing collection of games. It would be awesome to see some kind of monthly subscription or membership. Our family loves it though regardless and it's worth your time and money to stop here!

We had a blast! A lot of old school arcade games and pinball machines...so much fun and reminded me of the good ole days...fun for young and old alike. Very reasonable and your wristband is good for the entire day. You can leave and get something to eat or just explore. A would recommend!

Lots of fun for the whole family. We are visiting from out of town and used the Groupon. My only complaint was that they don't require masks and aren't limiting the number of people inside. It's packed pretty tight so you're on top of people so can't really do any type of social distancing. Also the website says they sanitize the games but we were there almost 3 hours and never saw a single person clean the games. They do have hand sanitizer bottles around though.

You can bring in your food and drinks and get a private party room with 3 tables, plus a fourth table for food and drinks & 15 arm bands. They do have games in party room as well.
