We picked up two games for a buyer. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was amazing to see how many different games they had. Very cool place.
What an amazing experience from start to finish. I bid online and it was very user-friendly and easy to do. The auction itself went at a good pace, I never once felt rushed. The live recording showing the machines being used helped to fully understand what I was bidding on and the condition of the equipment. Elizabeth was extremely helpful after the auction with payment and processing. At the time of pick-up, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Wyatt was able to help in loading all the machines, a
Worst place to deal with. An unforseen circumstance came up with my child and asked to cancel transaction. We'll they canceled and blocked my account, because all transactions are final and they don't care what else happens in their life. Horrible company and don't recommend doing business with them.
It's a place where you can buy pinball machines, get them repaired, or just have a lot of fun playing. They have a quarter machine, and most games cost between 50 cents and a dollar to play. They also host tournaments.
Great location with extremely nice and knowledgeable staff
Captain's auction is always great to me. Good bids for my equipment on selling and usually manages to get me a good price on the stuff I'm buying everything is powered on so you can see if there is any faults with the games. Great and fair place to do business with. I highly recommend them above many of the other auction houses I've been to. Very glad to see they survived covid. Luckily I only live a couple of miles away, so I don't have to worry about crating and shipping.
This place is awesome. They have every video game under the sun. I felt like a kid again. The staff was really cool too
I'm not sure why people are butt hurt over losing an auction. This is the place to buy equipment. From operators and collectors (I'm both). I've seen several other online auction sites that do not have video, nor do they even attempt to be honest with you. They just tell you that you gotta come in. Well, for plenty of us, that's not possible. I've purchased 7 games and some monitor pcbs from Captain's and everything they have shown in the pictures and video (day of) have been spot on. Remember, you're buyin
I've been a long time participant at the auctions at captains. I've won majority of the games I own from here and have never had any problems. This time however was down right bad. I went to pickup a machine that I won from the auction. I am unable to physically attend the auctions due to my work. The item I won was marked as not working but there was a post-it note on the machine that stated what was wrong so I knew that could be repaired and placed the bid. When I picked it up and drove home which is abou
Bought some games and had them shipped across the country. Very well crated and protected for shipment. Very pleased with their customer service. 18% buyers premium, and 15% sellers fee is the biggest struggle with me. I wish they had a business to business rate and or a cap. However superb communication, and customer service. Awsome to have a market place to see ACV and bid for coin operated equipment.
Great, helpful and friendly staff. Fun to go even if you don't buy anything. Bidding online along with their live video stream is easy and efficient. No complaints here, great place to go for some arcade awesomeness!
Be aware of this place Very arrogant and rude staff. They have damage my pin while wrapping and blame shipping company. Damage was done on the inside of the wrapping
Great place to play pinball! Games work well, prices are fair. Lots of competitions throughout the week and some weekends.
These guys are great! Purchased SEVERAL arcade games from them both on an auction online and at their shop. Great prices and fantastic selection.
Beware! This auction company utilizes ghost bidding to increase the bids regularly. Most the machines they sell don't work or they break to get into them. They will lie, cheat and scam to sell their garbage. I bought 20 machines and only 2 worked. If you are foolish enough to buy from this company you will regret it, that's a guarantee.
This is a scam company I bout 10 machines and only one work wasted 7k if I was anyone thinking about going threw this company I hope you don't need the product or money you will lose dealing with these scum
Careless with their customers. Unpolite, unprofessionnal. I have tried to contact them. They read messages but dont care answering. I am very disappointed.
Friendly staff did a great job helping me load up my purchases
Great place and good service. Purchased an arcade game via their auction.
Got an ITG boxor here for cheap. Staff is nice and it's fun to visit even if you don't want anything.
I have been a customer for several years and always have a great experience. Chris and his staff are great.
Captains Warehouse Auctions specialize in Arcade games. If you need to sell or want to buy, check Chris out, he is a great business man and friend of Dan and Laura Dotson of American Auctioneers and Storage Wars Dan Dotson

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
